First ever visit on a Sunday. Three course lunch for £15, two for £12 and just the main for £8.95. Good food and comes with a hot or cold drink (cannot say cold as fruit juice had not been chilled). Will be back.

How an you refuse a meal deal where you get a sandwich (or bowl of soup) plus a cake and a drink for £5 50 wasn't expecting much but it was fabulous! The staff may not be the sharpest but don't let this put you off visiting this chinzy wee cafe.

What a gem of a cafe in Stranraer! T's Cakes was a perfect venue for our coffee and cake. Bright, airy seating inside, with very convenient parking right on the doorstep. The menu choice was varied and extremely tasty. Mango milkshake, White Chocolate cheesecake, Chicken baguette served with crisps and side salad - perfect in every way and very reasonable too. I saw Afternoon Tea being served as well as soup and sandwiches so lots to choose from. Spotless, classy decor and first class customer service from Iwona and Chloe. Thanks and make sure you visit soon - you'll not be disappointed!.

Just had lunch at Jinty-B's in Thornhill, Dumfriesshire. Gorgeously quirky, comics wallpapering the cafe, great home-made toasties & cake, hot tea & coffee & everything is immaculate. Perfect for family groups & very dog friendly.

High St, New GallowayAfter a great morning walking in the Galloway Forest, we called in at the CatStrand. Wow, what a gem of a place.its a gift shop with interesting books and art. But the best surprise is the cafe. Serving the best haggis and baked potato ever! We have called their butcher to buy more haggis.They have a nice selection of local beers to wash down a haggis lunch Also, check out their entertainment evenings. We will be back!

53 Saint Michael's Street, Dumfries DG1 2QB ScotlandJust superb all round - the food [first and foremost] was fantastic! The vibe & atmosphere were spot-on - great music, decor, everything. Will be back for sure - gotta try that Malaysian Curry next! Had the burrito this time, which was awesome! And the Sticky Toffee Carrot Cake… Ummm… Can I have some more, please? Took me far too long to get my bum in the door - won’t be dilly-dallying about for Round 2, I can tell ya that!
