Try Thai Noodle Bar in Wrexham

Bought noodles to take home for me and my daughter, they were awful tasted burnt had to throw in rubbish bin. I think they had been reheated that's why the burnt taste . Will not go there again.

Popped in today after we went swimming & had the most gorgeous meal, soo pleased, we got regular & it was massive! went into the shop to for a couple of snacks, everyone was polite & the food was top notch! our 3 year old had plain noodles, i had pad thai (WOW! usually pad thai disappoints - not this one!) hubby had drunken noodles, these were super tasty with a kick at the end. the gyoza were delicious too. will 100% come again when we are in the area!

Hi had ordered online received my order which over the several years I’ve been using them had always been amazing . This In fact was cold and greasy and also tasteless! Extra portions of rice and crackers were added to my order which I definitely didn’t tho as I’m alone at home. I rang to say this and was basically told it’s my fault! Customer service was shocking especially for loyal customers I was just dismissed. No offer of refund.

We ordered take-away and were really disappointed. We had the green curry with seafood, pad Thai with chicken and chow fun noodles with chicken. I should mention that “with chick n” is not accurate, there was none! The noodles were socked in soy sauce and had no flavor, this was the worst pad Thai and chow fun I’ve ever had. The curry was better but they did not include the rice so what do you do when you get home and find out that there’s no rice? Would not recommend.

Poor quality food, definitely not fresh ingredients as they claim, meat certainly not fresh and the flavour evidences this fact, overpriced considering there is no table service and dirty / untidy sitting area, and the person behind the counter was impolite. Thai food is all about fresh ingredients, what they do here is charge restaurant prices when they are a service minimal noodle bar, and in my case, they used chicken which had obviously been frozen for a very long time before defrosting, I could taste the oxidation in the meat. Disgusting. I got the sense they simply do not care enough about quality, and wish to cut corners yet charge higher than normal 2023 prices for low grade food. Do not recommend this place at all. It’s an insult to Thailand.

I ordered vegetable spring rolls of which I found near in , I also found 2 pieces of chicken in my vegetable noodles , the prices have raised so much also too , not what it used to be , quite disappointing to be honest as it used to be top notch

Can’t get an order right to save there lives order from here all the time get my order wrong about 60% of the time how hard is it to get plain super tasty noodles with chicken right and when I called up to complain they blamed me for not ordering it right even tho I order the same thing ever time I go tell me how hard is it to train your staff the menus so if you don’t want your order to be right definitely suggest ordering from here TRAIN YOUR STAFF before you put them on the till !!!!!

Even though the websites and opening hours said it should be open it was closed, some lame excuse about maintenance. If you doing maintenance do it out of your opening hours. If you’re open in at 12 pm there are plenty of hours before then to do maintenance. Not the first time I’ve been turned away, last time I came for ingredients, they wouldn’t bother opening the shop that sold alongside the takeaway. I’ll go to the other place in town next time.

My favourite takeaway. Always visit here. The staff are super friendly and the food is incredible. Would recommend 10000% 5/5!

I grew up in Australia, eating authentic Thai cuisine, and nothing I’ve had in the last 20 years in the USA has come close - until now. They do it simple, and they do it right - perfect flavors, herbs, and curries.

The food is good but the price is mad for the size of the food like small box to expensive. Used to be £5 but now is like £10

I used to love a curry from here but the last few times we have ordered it’s just been tasteless, oily sludge. Something has definitely gone wrong as it used to be quite healthy and delicious but I feel pretty ill tonight after eating this! We won’t be back ☹️

We ordered this evening and picked it. The noodles were almost black. Seriously I never seen anything like it. The chicken in the curry smelled uncooked. Probably all thrown into the wok from frozen. Will not visit again.

I highly recommend the Spicy Rice box with mixed meat - simply incredible! Their side dishes are also a must, spring rolls were peng. Used the mobile app for the first time and it was simple to use, paid upon collection although paying online is an option too.

Went with my son today to get some food from their shop (excellent choice and amazing value). Also to get a takeaway. Very well priced . My son had black pepper noodles with chicken and I had pad thai with pork. Simple dishes but heres the clincher.....the taste and quality was put of this world ....simply stunning food . This has to be the best noodles I've tasted. I've eaten noodles all over Holland, America and uk. This is quality !!

Regularly eat here the noodles are amazing lots of chicken and veg in them, nice little seating area upstairs

Great little Thai restaurant this is. If you have been Thailand then you will love this place got good menu food is fresh staff good . There are tables for you to sit down on nothing posh just like Thailand style we’ll worth visit and on plus side they have shop next door to buy stuff so do recommend this place but don’t exspect fine dining just good food

Can not fault the taste of the food it’s just a shame that it takes as long as it does to make... even at quiet times you can be waiting 20-30 minutes. I’ve stopped going here for the fact they constantly get my order wrong.

Pre-ordered a meal for 4 people the night before due to us working on nights and being unable to contact them during the day, arrive in work at 20:00pm, the food was supposed to arrive at 20:30pm, by 21:00 still no food and no way of contacting them. Email confirmation recieved that our order had gone through. Extremely frustrating as the 4 of us had not brought in tea and were unable to get any.

Ordered a takeaway from this restaurant at 7:20. We had no update on what was happening with the food, according to the app it was cooked straight away and due to arrive at 8:15. However we didn't receive it until 9:05.We understand that the restaurant gets busy, however to wait that long without any contact is unacceptable.Unfortunately, the meal was paid for in advance as it was ordered online. If not, we would have cancelled the order.When the meal arrived we opened it to find that it was not only luke warm but labelled incorrectly.Very disappointing, we won't be ordering from here again. Waste of money.

Used the app for the first time, worked very well the process was hassle free, the food was delivered on time. The meal itself was excellent, we especially liked the starters, we tried the selection choice, well worth a visit.

What a little gem!! Visited here with some friends and was very impressed. The food was gorgeous and the atmosphere really great. The lovely waitress couldn't do enough to please and the prices were unbelievable. Be back soon.

Went there this week and been ill since and not been able to eat anything either. Have had food from the town centre one and not had a problem. Food was extremely salty. Wouldn't recommend this place unless you want to be ill for 3 days.

We went to the new Thai room restaurant on Sunday evening. Normally we would go to Chester to eat Thai food but thought we would give this a go.

My Wife & I went to their new Thai Room Restaurant for a meal on our Wedding Anniversary,they"ve only had it open a few weeks but the food was excellent,freshly prepared & authentic in taste.It has its own kitchen separate from the "take away" bar downstairs.We will definitely be going again.We don"t know if they will end up with their own website up stairs so we"ve had to post on the Noodle Bar site.

Love drunken noodles from here , my all time fave. Prices are expensive but I never used to mind as the portions were big but now the noodles are priced way too high and the portions are not even half the size of what they used to be. Paying £10 for noodles and a drink that doesn’t even fill you up

Called into this new restaurant for a meal with friends, we were all very disappointed with the food, one member of our party had a raw prawn...a very expensive night out - we won't be recommending this restaurant sadly....such a shame, as we love Thai food.

5 of us called in on Saturday night for a sit down meal up stairs, fantastic choice as food was perfect, fresh and tasty. Staff could not of been more friendly or helpful Can not wait to go again to try more on the menu

I was tempted by a Thai chicken salad and the description looked authentic. Opening the box was a bit surprising as the contents looked a bit like bits of curly chicken pieces with lots of onion and spring onions.... and no taste other than a bit of heat. Luckily the hotel room had biscuits.

Called in here on a whim while in Wrexham for a few hours. The food was fresh, very tasty and hot. The menu has a good selection and I was spoilt for choice. If your passing this place it's definitely worth visiting.

Decided to grab some lunch today. Intended on having subway until I smelt this amazing aroma coming from next door. I ordered some spicy fried rice can’t remember the name sorry but It was incredible, I loved every mouthful. I love 1.5 hours away and I can honestly say I’ll be making that journey again soon for another one.

Pleased to say after today's lunch including drinks and samosas plus Singapore noodles mixed meat plus extra spicy that the Try Thai prices back to normal and food is as great as we expected over the years of loyalty.

Ordered online, and picked up 15 minutes later. The noodles were heavily spiced, way more than normal, and I could only find a few tiny fragments of meat, which I couldn't positively identify. Where's my chicken? Inedible.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat yesterday..plenty of choice..decent staff..ok food nice quick and healthy.. very basic set up.i would return again for something quick.

I can’t get enough of the noodle bar... I love watching the food being cooked and have never had a bad meal here...if I had my way I would live on the prawn spicy rice for the rest of my life... definitely worth going to ifin weexham

The Singapore noodles are nice & so is the black pepper sauce they do here. I like going to Thailand & I think that the UK needs more places like this one.

Noodles are lovely from hear, a small portion is plenty, nice and hot good value for your money. Good service.

How can you increase your prices from £6.95 to £9.90 per portion and still not change the prices on the price list in the window or on the menu leaflets you give out to customers? You have lost yourself customers

Have used this takeaway for a number of years and the food is consistently good . Sadly I won’t be visiting again due to another price rise . Looking at previous reviews the justification for this is higher prices for ingredients and staff wages . However this seems to be the only Asian takeaway in Wrexham that has seen huge price increases over the last couple of years . It’s a shame but there are plenty of other options available locally.

Having not visited since before Christmas I was given an almighty shock today. £7.50 for Authentic Rice and Chicken! It used to be £5.80! No wonder there was only two people sat in there eating. This place was always packed out - often with a queue!

Went into the resturant to get a take away last satarday and the noodle dish I ordered was almost £10 and I wanted them to make it a bit more spicy and they charged extra £.40 on top of the cost of the dish, which I found a bit unreasonable. I have to say I would not be returning there again.

I have been a customer since food was served in the back of the shop in Chester street, this recent price hike is ludicrous, charging extra for meat in your meals!? I ordered tonight and I was also charged 50p service charge??? I know it’s only 50p but what for? I won’t be ordering again and I’m sure they will loose many regular customers with your price hikes!

Prices have gone terrible !! Greedy owners , being charged for extras. It’s not worth the money any more. I gave them the benefit of the doubt last week thinking they accidentally over charged , but the prices are crazy!!!!

Great selection of noodle, rice and curry dishes all freshly cooked. Reasonable price for what you get.

Had a sit-down meal with two friends and a selection of dishes. No service as it was also a takeaway. Food was good and a weide variety available.

Massive price hikes for below average food. Won’t be going back

Firstly, they have hiked the price my almost 30% today. The large authentic chicken fried rice has increased from £5.80 to £7.50. They now charge extra for the chicken, beef, prawn, mixed vegetables. Many people were commenting whilst eating their food. I also purchased their simply fried rice for my son which has increased from £4.90 to £5.25 (a more modest price rise).

Staff are always friendly and the food is tasty. Cheap and cheerful as you would expect from a noodle bar. Good size portions. Eat in or take away.

The Singapore fried rice is highly recommended..full of flavour and lots of crisp and seasonal vegetables. A really fast and healthy lunch time option

Firstly, I would say this is more of a noodle bar that a Thai take away. If you go with the exception of a good noodle dish, you won't be disappointed, good size portions with plenty of your chosen meat an vegetables which was tasty.

Finding this place for the first time is like finding gold. It's so addictive too. It's a weekly addition to my work lunch menu, I miss having it when I'm on annual leave from work the Drunken Noodles is a must and Pad Thai with added chillies is gorgeous. Recommended.

Wow we have have a great place to go to on at lunch time now on lunch It’s perfect great cooked food and fresh and full of flavour. I found out you can ask for any dish to be hotter spicy so more choice Plus on the estate they do a buffet on a Friday and there is plenty of space to park

Never ever had a bad meal . Had noodles , rice , curries soup over last few years. Thank you for wonderful fresh food .

Every time I come here I get a fantastic meal, this is the only place in the UK which actually sells authentic Thai food just like what you would get served in the streets of Thailand. I have been to Thailand a few times, so I know what Thai food tastes like. I prefer the hot dishes, but there is plenty of choice

We eat here regularly and the food is always tasty and fresh. You can take away or eat in. Don't expect a 5* eatery - the restaurant is more of a cafe style but don't let that put you off. Food is fabulous!!

I go here regularly and the food is fantastic every single time. The food is made fresh in front of you. All girls are thai and good as though you are in Thailand. Would highly recommend!

We have just had a lovely Thai takeaway from this restaurant.We had 2 curry's and 2 noodle mains. Sides and spring rolls.The food was super tasty, there was lots of it. It was fresh and hot! We will definitely be returning to this noodle bar!

We come here a couple of times each month. It's fresh, healthy, non greasy as proper Thai food should be. I had the Thai Noodle Soup with Seafood and extra chicken. My granddaughter had a fried rice stick noodle dish.Interesting to watch tiny Thai girls cooking on a bank of powerful gas rings using giant woks. Both were very tasty. Will definitely continue to come here!

The staff here are lovely and the food is even better. We often order these to work and it's never a problem and they've never got it wrong and considering we do a huge order this is great. The drunken noodles are the best. The online ordering is great to as you can write what you don't want in your noodles. Super helpful.

Used Try Thai Noodle Bar several times and once before they've got my specific order wrong. I have a food allergy, which is always stated at time if ordering. This time, today Monday 17th April 2017, they got it wrong again.... drove back to exchange the meal to watch the cook 'fish out the peppers with tongs', the food I'm allergic to, to then ask what she was doing, as I'm allergic? "Are you Giving it to someone else? was my question. To which she replied "yes!". Absolutely disgusting! I then asked for a full refund & I will now be reporting the matter to the appropriate authorities. Ignoring food allergy requests, extremely dangerous to people with food intolerances (even though they have a sign stating to mention food allergies while ordering) is one thing, serving food to someone else when it's been taken out of the building, that's another thing again. It's happened the both times with the same members of staff. Will not be using them again, their ignorance towards the danger of food allergies was not acceptable.

We've been here a few times and always enjoyed our food! We usually order 3/4 different meals and share them between us all!

This has got to be my favourite takeaway establishment in Wrexham, the food is cooked right in front of you and has beautiful flavours, I usually visit here about once a month and always have the mixed meat pad Thai and never have I had a disappointing meal. The decor of the place is out dated but don't let that reflect your takeaway meal- huge portions at a reasonable price ☺️

Whilst the portions are very reasonable and the food extremely tasty, every time I seem to go here the prices seem to increase!

At work at BK Nolte contracts We go here every other Thursday ( noodle Thursday) no one has had a disappointing meal and the sizes are very filling and really good value with so much flavour My favourite is drunken noodles

Use here regularly on a Saturday night. Excellent service and high standard of cleanliness in place itself. Food is always very hot and even after transporting home it is still hot and does not need reheating. Good variety on menu and will tweek to suit.

The food there is usually good and I always order the same thing and it's not a difficult order so it's rather disappointing to see my order and the rest of my families is mostly wrong most times when it is right the food is good

Been going here yeas since it was in the back of the old tiny shop! Food was lovely then and still is now, never had a bad one if your in Wrexham and want takeout you won't be disappointed

Love the noodles from here. The menu has a great range of choices and the prices are good for the amount you get. I tend to go for the regular box because that's filling enough!Chefs cook the food in front of you so you can see what's going on. Always hot and very tasty .

This place does the best noodles! I live just around the corner and it's so hard to stop myself from dropping by for a box of teriyaki veg noodles. The garlic that you put on top too- amazing

Try Thai is my treat place, when i am feeling down or want a treat, i go here. the service is good and the food is awesome! freshly made and so so yummy! it also makes me feel healthy and i am yet to try something i don't like on the menu! well done all, i will be returning soon :)

After recommendations from family members popped in for lunch, surroundings not the best but the food was amazing. Cooked right in front of you, fresh ingrediants and very tasty, highly recommended.

This is consistently the best take-out food I have ever tasted. Our whole family love the place.The food is made in front of you with fresh ingredients and the portion sizes are generous. The menu is clear about heat/spice levels and offers gluten free. It has an excellent choice for vegetarians too.Pricing is very reasonable, so we eat there regularly and haeveer been disappointed.Try it, you will love it.

This place is great for lunch at first glance inside I thought this is not up to much but how wrong I was the food was amazing the amount you get is unreal it's all cooked fresh in front of you and u can taste all the flavours and the price is great for the amount of food I would really recommend this to anyone

This is a quick and cheap takeaway meal so be under no illusions that it is fine dining.Having said that, they are always quick clean and above all, the food is tasty!

Oh my god I love this place. At first glance inside I didn't think much of the place. It's nothing to write home about. Very basic in design. But by God can they cook. The food is AMAZING. We have been twice last week. If you like noodles and rice then this is the place for you. Authentic Tai food. Great staff too

Friendly Thai feel, all the favourite dishes. Great fun and tasty food and drinks. Papaya salad was off the menu so I had Pad Thai and Kratingdaek. Good times!

I go very often to this noodle bar and never have I been disappointed , it's good that u see your food getting cooked right in front of you and never have I had to wait long for it , would defiantly be returning soon
