microwaved bacon and charged us £9.30 for 2 cobs. terrible food terrible prices. ended up throwing mine in the bin. waste of money. you know its bad when theres no cookers in there but i didnt notice any of this until the microwave went ping then it hit me how bad this place actually is

So happy they are on just eat, can't always get on town. Only problem iv got is there is no colslaw on the menu.

Great service delivered quickly and all that was ordered was there, we did order some pies which we thought would be slightly bigger but other than that it’s great that these are delivering now!

Asked for a ham, cheese and salad cob and got ham and cheese no salad! Also cheese straws are rock hard

Hi Iv visited trulys for years since the main man Simon had it the new for 7 years niw the new owner doesn’t care about his customers or his lovely staff food portion gone done quality poor poor poor cobs 2 days older suppliers falling out with him what a shame for what used to be a cracking eating place for Ilkeston. Shame on you mr shame on you

Lovely staff & lovely food my only concern is that the staff make food and handle money. Money is one of the dirtiest things to touch so I don’t feel staff should be doing both. Maybe having a staff member take payments why one makes the food especially with all this covid going on

This is a place which I visit at least once a week on my dinner breaks at work. The ladies who work there are always very cheerful and happy which is lovely to see. As for the food, the cobs are freshly made and are really worth the money. Quick and efficient service.

Bought a pre-made tuna salsd cob from here,opened it to discover no more than a teaspoon of tuna inside the cob...PATHETIC

Long established deli in the centre of ilkeston just off the market place. Good selection of filled rolls and snacks. Lots of lovely cheese and cooked meats. Chocolates and biscuits too. Lots of teas and coffees too.

I went in to the shop to buy cobs which were on shelf but wouldn't sell due to wanting then for customers who buy filled cobs. Looks like a company who is more interested in maximum profit on day than a repeat customer. Didn't have this with shop across road previously when asking them.

I have recently moved to the Ilkeston area with work, and I pay a visit to Truly Scrumptious at least once a week. I have always found my food to be 1st Class, and the ladies whom work there are always cheerful despite always being busy. I would say from my experience of Ilkeston so far that this is the best place to call for lunch any day of the week, and I highly recommend the salad boxes.

This is very busy at lunch times and has a vast selection of foods hot and cold, the shop sells other items such as biscuits and jars of pickles etc so not just a sandwich shop. I had a lovely salad with homemade quiche which was lovely.

Our family have made weekly visits since this shop first opened. Simon and Lesley were terrific. Service and quality second to none. It is not that way now and the service is no longer as polite. I was short changed today and after insisting I did pass over a £10 note the assistant would not believe me. Another assistant then came to the rescue and said they could play closed circuit back. It showed I did hand over a £10 note. My £5 was then returned but with hardly an apology. It was a highly embarrassing situation. Mistakes can happen but should be handled better than this. I was made to look a liar. I am sorry to say I will not visit again.

Did catering for 120 guests for a joint birthday party, well impressed with the presentation, everyone enjoyed and commented on how lovely the food was. Would definitely recommend Truly Scrumptious for anyone looking for catering. Thanks to everyone involved at Truly Scrumptious 👍

We call into Truly Scrumptious every week for a half a pound of tastie ham that is on offer, some black pudding and a pork pie. The best in Ilkeston

When my late husband was 75, I ordered a garden buffet, the price was amazing, the quality, superb, all delivered fresh and laid out in my dining room, I still shop there for cooked meats ect, highly recommended.

Whenever you buy produce here you always know it`s going to be of the highest quality. The range of cold meats is extensive...I buy the ham most. Cakes are always good and the small rolls to die for.

Myself and my family regularly frequent this delightful deli! Fantastic range of filled cobs, meats, pies, cakes and other goodies! Cannot recommend enough!

From sliced cooked meats, pastries and cakes to freshly baked bread, cheeses and the best tomato sausage in the universe!The staff are always cheerful, friendly and genuinely happy to see you. Great little shop/deli serving an extensive large range of home made/cooked food. Cobs made to order while you wait, pies everywhere and cakes to please everyone. Service with a smile from staff which is always good to see, well worth a visit.

This shop has been here many years now and im not surprised as the quality and range of home made and cooked food is what its all about. Pies, sandwiches or cobs as they say in Ilkeston lol are great, cooked meats, cakes are fantastic a great little bakers get ya self in and get a treat !!
