Food was great i have been many times, fresh , and a great customer service, hot and consistent quality, would recommend.

The food was ordered for delivery it came promptly but the oxtail and jerk chicken we found to be tough and fatty. We will not be ordering again unfortunately. Did not enjoy the meal at all.

I ordered from here and my mac and cheese was forgotten, the plantain was raw, rice and peas were burnt and stuck together..

Great food. Great staff. Quick service! And they’ve got a card machine! Can’t ask for more. I had the Peppered Steak, lovely dish!

They NEVER answer the phone.. I’ve ordered from them several times (Uber eats) and reported to them that they have no soft drinks on the menu like sprite, KA ect and they promised to fix it but haven’t.. They forget to put items that you’ve paid for in your order Fed up with them

I was disappointed by the food and service. The cash machine was not working when we vusited. There is another carribean place nearby that us much better

Drive past this place quite often on way home from work, noticed it the other night as they have a new sign that caught my eye :)! So i decided to pop in for a takeaway, food was really nice, portions are good and reasonably priced too I will be returning!

This place is usually quiet but it always manages to look lovely and inviting. So I went along with hubby and we had a delicious meal. I can't understand why it is so quiet?

Service a little slow paced. However, the food is well seasoned and has authentic Jamaican taste. Reasonably priced and good portions. Small seating area so better to take out. I am now a return customer.

Food is ever authenic, and taste. Love the Ackerman and Salt Fish. Meal deals are brilliant and great value for money😉

Although the food is good sorry 2 hrs delivery unacceptable. In that time you can cook a good meal....When I called up to find out when my food was it sounded like I had woken up the person on the end of the phone up from a deep sleep.

The restaurant forgot one of the items we ordered. Upon calling to notify them of the issue we were told we would get a refund, however we failed to hear back from them.

Food was absolutely delicious and the portions are extremely generous. New go to Caribbean restaurant 5 stars

Food arrived an hour before the time we asked. Food was dry and obviously reheated.

I made my order paid upfront. Then about 15mins later my order was declined not sure why?? How can I rate when I did not recieve anything

Delivery arrived over 1 hour late and missing items

the food did not arrive at all. the delivery time was 16:55 but no one phoned me to tell me my order would not arrive or would be late. I phoned and the person who answered the phone told me at first my order would be 15-20min, it never arrived, I phoned back and they told me i ordered the food late and there is 11 deliveries before me. when I first spoke to them they told me there is only 1 order before mine and then on the second phone call 11. I am hungry and now I have to eat 2 hours late. I am very sad and unhappy.

Food was 25 minutes late and cold. My son's meal was inadequate in portion and flavour. We are now ordering pizza. Disappointed.

Had to cancel as I preferred food at 7 o'clock and was due at 10 past 8 but still hadn't come by half 9 it was a joke I wouldn't waste my time ordering from here

Waited over an hour, called the restaurant to be told it will be 5 mins. Then called back after another 20 mins of still no arrival to then be told the food has not even been dispatched yet. Terrible service and communication. When asking for an answer of the estimated arrival the woman on the phone couldn't give us one and kept saying ermm soon. When the order eventually came after nearly 2 hours wait they didn't even have the correct order. Do not waste your time

It took 1h 40min to deliver a soup within 2mile radius!!! I would have managed to cook soup myself within this time! Soup is tasty but too salty for me. But the delivery time! Obviously will not order again!

The food is great unfortunately the service isn't. The food came so late and when it came a meal was missing. I had to walk round there because they were not answering their phone and when I arrived I did not even get an apology. I was fuming.

Regrettably, I am disappointed in tonight's delivery, I didn't receive my two portions of plantain. Surely I can't be charged something I didn't receive. Also I received a Salt Fish Pattie, When I requested for a Chicken one? Lastly, Didn't receive no separate sauce in a container? Normally you guys are on point...

Portions are small. I ordered a large stew chicken and hardly any chicken. Only a leg and not even half a thigh! Same with the red pea soup. Hardly any meat

I'm a local person and I mean local the food was freezing cold and I mean freezing like it wasn't cooked half my order was missing and when they did send it out again they left it on my door step save your money and go somewhere were your food is cooked and hot rip off this place is!!!! NEVER AGAIN

I made my order with the restaurant via Just Eat and the restaurant confirmed my order. Along with making me aware of the time it would be ready for collection. I arrived at the restaurant to be told that the order I made wasn't available. I also made note in the additional notes area that we do not want any meat but this was completely ignored. This isn't the first time I've experienced this utterly poor service. They previously served me a soup which contained meat in it but lied and said it didn't. This place should be closed down for good. It's an utter disaster. The staff are rude and do not care about the customers health or eating requirements. They just want your money.

I did not receive everything I had ordered. My order was delivered to me 2 hours after I had placed the order.

The food always tastes great but as usual, the food was delivered 45mins later than scheduled (despite the restaurant adding 15mins to the delivery time). The person was very apologetic when I called to find out where my food was. I would advise people to order two hours before you expect to eat. Otherwise, the food tasted great as usual. I would reccommend the ackee and saltfish with boiled hard food and the macaroni cheese pie

Fried Chicken was over cooked and salty everything else was great

Poor customer service , food took almost 1 hour 45 mins even tho I live 15 mins max away . turned up with one of the wrong meals. Had 4 things out of the 7 I ordered Did not solve my issues when I called back . worst cerribean restaurant iv ordered from ever !!! And 1st time iv ever had to write a review to let people know this place is unorganized & slack . really disappointed

I love the food. I've ordered many times but I don't believe I have ever received a complete order. As much as I enjoy the food, I must always be prepared to compromise on what I'd actually like to eat because the restaurant is often out of certain foods and drinks. This particular order for instance, I didn't receive rice and peas though they did call and let me know they were out of it before hand, which was nice. I also didn't receive the carrot juice. I'm not sure what it was. May have been Irish moss

Didnt come with the the fish i ordered, didn't even have they decency to call to ask what we'd like as a replacement so we was one meal short. Chicken curry was mainly hard potatoes... two peices of boney nick chicken peices and this was a large meal. Very disappointed

Very disappointed with the curried goat dumpling. The dumpling tasted really stale which indicates this wasn't fresh. Curried goat filling was nice though, very flavoursome. But y'all let yourselves down big time with the dumpling. Due to be eating the chicken soup soon

I ordered the chicken soup,as it was delicious before,however,tonight I got two tiny pieces of chicken it what so obviously was redpea (kidney bean) soup.Feeling a little cheated.

Jerk chicken tasted different than usual but no real complaints

The delivery arrived early which was great. The food was bland and nothing to write home about, I've definitely had better. There was spinach(???) In the rice and peas which is a new experience. The curried goat was a bland and I couldn't tell by looking what was sauce and what was meat. I had to dig around, and even for goat there seemed to be lots of bones. It was generally an unenthusiastic meal and I ended up throwing half of it away. It seems like they have two chefs. One is brilliant and the other is bad so it seems pot luck what you get. I'll stick to Jerk Hut.

Took nearly two hours to come. Couldn't get through on the phone for 30 minutes - then it sounded like they'd forgotten about the order. No apology/refund. Food definitely not good enough to wait that long for. Jerk chicken tasted like cheap shop bought sauce and plantain was greasy.

I didn't give 6 for service because they had run out of oxtail but everything else was lovely . we always order from Tropical Spice . The food is wonderful.

My roti was the worst I've ever had bread hard as rocks. Meat inside it was hard I thought it was beef jerky.

Found a chicken bone in my 'veggie' meal. Couldn't eat a thing.

Ordered for the 3rd time, 1st and 2nd food was nice, but just ordered now and oh my god the food was disgusting, it was cold, jerk chicken was cold and hard, rice and pies cold, plaintain not cooked and hard, felt like they gave left overs or food cooking from the morning, i ate a little and through the rest away, i just vomited and have now a stomach upset, i wont be ever ever ordering from here again, seriously nastyyy...

We ordered curry goat roti, chicken soup, Mac and cheese, lamb patty, festival and fried dumpling. A bargain for £14.30. It arrived earlier than expected, piping hot, well packaged and was delicious. Large portions and very good quality and not at all greasy. Highly recommend and will be ordering again!

The food came quickly but the delivery man had to refund me some money for food that wasn't in stock, it would've made more sense if the Restaurant called me and asked if I'd want any alternatives as the amount of food was reduced heavily. On top of that, the rice and peas were dry and the Jerk Chicken had no sauce on it at all so there was nothing to cover the rice in to make it less dry. This was easily the driest and least flavoursome Caribbean food I've ever eaten. The only acceptable part of the meal was the Festival which was decent, at most. Definitely never ordering from this place again, first and last time.

The oxtail was to die for, so tender it fly off the bone. Obviously not as good as my mums but close!

Always try to charge me for delivery when it's meant to be free delivery over £15

Food was pretty decent could've done wth more sauce. 3rd time I've reordered from this place. First time was bang on, second time Service took too long so cancelled 3rd time was better than first.

firstly the food was 30 minutes late and when the woman tried calling the driver he would not pick the phone up it went too voicemail 3 times before delivering me cold food The fried dumpling was rock hard not even a knife could cut it let alone my teeth, the fried chicken & rice & peas was very dry had no sance whatsoever I will not be ordering from here again if I wanted cold food & waste my money I would of cooked my food myself

The worst West Indian food I have ever eaten! It was tasteless. The macaroni cheese was dead!! It was just penne pasta with a bit if cheese on, very dry. The fruit punch had a very unpleasant after taste. I could go on but let's just say, I was very disappointed , it was a waste of money ... Over £30 in the bin. I will not ever be ordering from this place again.

As alway's 💯 on point with quality,taste to be honest I couldn't tell you what to order because whatever you order you would alway's appreciate and enjoy even down to the drinks 👌🏽

Food came 15mins after making the order, yummy as usual. I normally have everything plain, no sauce, no gravy, but that Jerk gravy is the one

Sadly they didn't have three out of six of the foods I ordered but they called me up very quickly to let me know. Apart from that delivery was very quick.

Food was lovely, just a shame it took over an hour to get here plus it was cold once arrived, which was a shame!

We waited half an hour over the estimated time. The food arrived missing an item and the jerk chicken with rice and peas was chicken wings with hardly any meat and the rice was really dry! We even had to behead the fish, which wasn't even the worst part! I called up complaining and they didn't even offer anything but a lame apology! Never again 😡

I ordered a curry goat roti and was telephoned to say there was no roti. So I asked for just curry goat instead and they still wanted to charge me the extra? Also there's two sizes of juice offered on the site but they only offer 1 and it's £3 so the delivery guy asked for an extra £1 from me when he got to my door. They were pretty rude on the phone. Trying to get a decent carribbean round here is a joke.

Mate... This was the one. This did so much. I didn't get the carrot juice I ordered - I think they must have ran out (which, sadly, happens all too often in Caribbean restaurants) but I was sent Pineapple punch as well as Guinness punch in its' stead so no complaints really. The rice needed quite a bit more gravy than what was one there. Other than that, this was the oonneee. Everything was nice and hot including the patty and was delivered speedily. So so good.

Prices on drinks are wrong on Just Eat, the price of a large is double what is stated. Food took forever to come. Good food but not worth the wait.

This place had us waiting for 2 hours without letting us know they were running late. When we rang them this lady was absolutely rude no apologises and was acting like her providing our food was a favour'!! Do not order from here it's terrible service and terrible everything

Delivery time was decent but food quality is low. Dumpling was too doughy, saltfish fritter had very little fish, was bland and was very oily and doughy. Plantain undercooked and not ripe enough so didn't taste sweet, vegetables were bland with no real flavour. Stew Beef tasted nice but meat needed to be cooked down for longer, wasn't tender enough and a little chewy. However, rice and peas and beef pattie were very good! Might order again but avoid the items above..
