Terrible food, no flavour and not properly cooked. Rude staff. Pretty sure delivery driver was on something! They also have the nerve to write rude responses to negative reviews on just eat, rather than be professional and accept the feedback (surely they know their food is terrible!) they insult their customers! Don't waste your time or your money. You'd get better chinese food from your local Indian takeaway.

We have been waiting to experience dining in an Indian restaurant in Britain since we arrived 2 weeks ago. This restaurant was exactly what we were looking for...The dishes were so, so good, layers of exquisite taste and exceptional service from Ali. Thankyou for a taste sensation.

I’ve settled on this place as the best Chinese takeout in the area. Fast service no matter how busy there are and good food.

I ordered a takeaway New Year's Eve. The food came quickly and the order was okay. However, just a word of advice to the woman who took my order over the telephone: A friendlier manner would go along way. Your gruff attitude was a turnoff. I nearly rang back to cancel my order. It's a shame, since you were recommended by family living in Chingford and this was my first experience with your restaurant.

The food was terrible, I found to express my feelings and I was told was to wait for the boss to call you back. I had waited over an hour then I had to call again I need to be told I will be refunded two items of a £37 order, so my dinner was ribs, rice and seaweed. Completely ruined, my Meal My reply to your rude and unprofessional response! You came to my house and gave my wife the money then took off! You should have delt with me as I’m the one who made the complaint! 2) how can you make me wait 1 hour and not even call me back? Then when I CALL YOU BACK! you offer me replacement dish 1 hour later! I’m greedy you say! You’re not professional enough and need to be educated with your customer care! I still have your food waiting on my work top. You’re more than welcome to come and collect it now! I will be waiting! Come and taste for yourself the poor Quality!

The food is perfect and tasty! They have the best noodles, thin and cooked to perfection. Not soggy like the other places. The portion sizes are crazy big and prices are low. Definitely the best Chinese restaurant in the area. Will not order from anywhere else

It was ok. Average . The food was cold. It wasn’t that bad but i would come back again. The service was not bad.

Ordered a takeaway and it was absolutely vial had a spring roll and did not taste of anything at all more of a off taste the ribs tasted off to soup was disgusting will never order from here again food is just disgusting

I went in to order some food... I found the person who took my order a bit rude, I ended up ordering less than I intended to only because I had gone all that way, and the weather was bad... that guy really needs to be mindful of the way he speaks to people. I asked a simple question, and he was rash and made me feel bad with his response, not good customer service... I was trying different Chinese restaurant around my area to establish a regualy place... my experience was off-putting, so I no longer care how the food tastes.

Not fit to eat. Chicken smelt gone off and had a foul smell. I had to bin it straight away. Rice tasted off as well. Pancake roll was soaked in oil and couldn't eat. Whole meal went straight in bin.

Standard is poor, lamb taste like beef very chewie. Ordered shredded duck noodles and mostly fat and skin has no taste whats so ever. Waste of £30. Absolute rip off and this place need to have a look at themselves and say to themselves can I cook Chinese dishes the answer is NO! Talk about ruin my evening. Thanks! By the way they say they can cook Thai dishes....they can't!

I love their food. The best gyozas I ever ate in my life. So delicious, juicy and full of fillings. I always order a beef in a black bean sauce and it’s just amazing. The lady at the front she’s always taking care of me and also very polite!

Ordered thru website and menu is not labelled correctly. Really poor. Ordered item which was labelled with a fish and spicy sign turns out had pork to. Then when I can to complain lady argues and says I should of said no pork. I didn't dream it had pork if it is incorrectly labelled or not labelled at all. Lady was argumentative and could of easily put the matter right Also Ordered some other items poor quality and bland. Really poor Avoid

Don't know if they changed their chef . Ordered special fried rice and received boiled rice with a few peas and shrimps . Nothing special about my rice. Beef noodles, lacked beef. Food bland and tastless. No! I don't have covid, the food was just bad.

Hands down one of the best Chinese takeaways I've had. The House Special Pork is excellent, probably the best dish on the menu. Very fast delivery, piping hot and reasonable prices. Great portion sizes too.

I have discovered them very recently and I continue coming back whenever I am fancy of something Chinese. They have great customer service: I call and they know my address and what I placed an order on last time, it makes me feel welcome. I ordered tonight crispy rolls instead of spring rolls to try and in the bag, I could find a small portion of spring rolls free of charge just in case. Thank you, it appeared that my son was looking for spring rolls anyway. I can always count on help with card payment, the portions are huge and amazingly good. We will stay regular customers for you.

Consistently provides enjoyable dishes, never under whelming

I ordered from them this evening and they are saying they have delivered the order but haven't. They have said they tried ringing me but I didn't have any missed calls. I rang the restaurant at 8:30pm to ask where the food was (over an hour after ordering) and was told the driver was on their way but received no call from the driver. I received an email from Just Eat saying they were outside at 8:58 and I went downstairs straight away and they were not there. I rang the restaurant and was shouted at by the staff and the driver. At first they said that they were outside ringing me and then changed their story to say they couldn't find the building. This is untrue as we ordered from elsewhere this evening and they delivered fine. I also saw 4 or 5 delivery drivers come in to the building when I went downstairs. There is also a person on reception who said no one else came in to ask for our address. The staff and driver didn't let me speak and continued to shout over me, eventually I was so upset at the rudeness, I had to put the phone down. This is appalling, I urge people not to go here when they can be so unbelievably rude to paying customers.

DISGUSTING is all I can say. Please read the reviews and take notice. I never complain but this needs to be shared. Food was LATE, and even then they had missed TWO items, which took another 40mins. Taste was appalling. Ordered Special Fried Rice which was far from special. It was like boil in the bag rice, NOT FRIED and had very few bits in it and there was absolutely NO TASTE! The Thai Green Chicken Curry made me puke after two mouthfuls, it was like urine and was definitely NOT Chicken. Lastly the 'Crispy' Spring Roll was so far from crispy it resembled a wet fish dripping in oil, again TASTELESS! I will NEVER EVER be buying from here again! EVER!

We have been ordered our food from this place for many years..And as loyal customers we been given the loyalty card. Today we order the food and we try to show them the loyalty card and the new owner just ignored it.saying it's the old owners loyalty card which the new owner been stamping it so many times we've ordered...So the loyalty card been ignored and the food we ordered was not all.. You just lost your loyal customer...bad attitude towards customers...

I order the beef ho fun, in fact, it's flat noodle, not ho fan, there's a difference between them, Cinese should know.

Horrible food, salty, greasy and over priced! This used to be the best Chinese for miles but then it was taken over and the new management have changed the chef, menu and hygiene standards. I will never visit this place again.

Ordered from Oriental Chef Chingford for my daughters birthday party. Ordered for 15 people and the food came on time and piping hot. Everything was perfect and will definitely reccomend them.

bad cooking skills,I ordered prawns which they where undercooked,why I checked them because did happen to me bfr,so I went home and need it to cook them more,so always check all meats done properly this undercooked meats can happen anywhere even turkish kebabs which undercooked meats are health problems.As well they don't put the right info on the menu about prawns,so they give you breaded prawns which they are rubbish .

This use to be 5 star however now new management have come in they have changed the menu, increased the prices and decreased the portion sizes. The noddles were so salty they were inedible and the food overall was poor. Used to visit regularly but will not be going back.

Rice overcooked. The fish cakes is total nonsense...

New ownership and sadly not as good food. This was our favourite Chinese but all the dishes were not as good as before, especially the shredded beef and smoked chicken. Will now try elsewhere before using again.

Awful. Food took over an hour and a half to come. When I called they said they were stuck in traffic and apologised. 30 mins later when it arrived they informed me they were late as it was a busy night and received no apology. The food was just about warm The duck was not cooked (red inside and took a picture to prove it) so didn’t even eat it. Seemed as though they forgot to cook my food and then rushed it! Put me off buying from here again!

I think this place is in Ilford and pretending to be in Chingford hence why it was so late.

This is my go to restaurant for Chinese and Thai food. I would not order from anywhere else. I order from here often and the food is great all the time! Ps: thanks for looking out for the special requests too.

Can I just start of by saying a massive thank you to the team at the restaurant. Your food was absolutely stunning. The Green Thai curry - if you like to taste a different fusion of spices tickles and caress your tastebuds every time you have a mouthful then this is the thing to order. Chicken pad Thai - lovely soft udon noodles saturated with chicken and creamy sauce accompanied by a brilliant Thai spice mix! Special Thai fried rice - spectacular with the amount of flavour from all the meats contained within! Could be a dish on its own! Tasty and spicy just the way I like it! Restaurant rung me back to confirm the remarks I put on the order! And even made me remember something I forgot to tell them! These guys are great with their service and their food is another thing! Please please give these guy a go and I bet you'll also be writing an essay a day later to thank them!

After placing my order the delivery time was extended by 30 minutes, I understand it’s busy but we had to wait over an hour and 15 minutes for 4 items.

First time ordering, was pretty tasty, good portion sizes and hot. Salt and pepper squid and honey chicken wings particularly good. Only down was too many onions and not a lot of prawns in prawn and cashew nut dish but would still defo order again.
