Stopped in here while waiting for a coach July 2023. Popped in out of the pouring rain to get a coffee. Some of the best latte, I've had in a while. May just be a little cabin on the edge of the coach park but deserves merit. If I'd had longer would probably have stayed for a snack. Will def keep in mind if I'm ever down that way again:) Didn't eat so I can't rate food, but the menu looked good. Simple food, and the cafe was full when I was there about 4pm.

Could be a great place, but it was closed despite Google maps saying that it was open. As a homeless veteran, I would like to frequent this place, but they ignored my question on their Facebook page, asking when they will be open.

OK, the menu is not exhaustive, but what is available is good. If you want to pay substantially less for your drinks and snacks than most other places in town, and not have to fight though the crowds, then this is the place to come. You will also be supporting a worthy cause.

Yesterday afternoon (Wednesday), me and Hubby were walking past the big coach car park when we saw this Cafe. Unfortunately it was closed. There was a notice on the window (see photo) which looked like the Cafe last opened between 10 a.m. & 3 p.m. on Friday 17th August. Perhaps it has now closed for the autumn/winter season?? We would have liked to have enjoyed a cuppa in this charity-run cafe which gives support to our military veterans.

Troop Cafe to me is pleasant and lovely experience for me although I have to get two buses to get there. I look forward to going there as I meet old acquaintances I have met before and also I meet new people as well. I am a single person at home, so I look forward to going.

Very clean, good food and well priced. The military theme is excellent with photos and exhibits. You really need to visit the place to get the feeling of the place. The food is good and fairly priced. Would be great with some wartime songs in the background. will be visiting again next time I am in the area. Keep up the good work !!!

What a wee gem of a good place. We came across it by accident when going to Venue Cymru in Llandudno. You'll find it behind the theatre at the end of the coach parking area. We thought it was for the coach drivers, and were pleasantly surprised to see it was a cafe, but no ordinary cafe. It's main purpose is to support ex forces personnel, consequently the cafe is decked out with military photos and paraphernalia. It feels like a trooper's room. The staff are friendly, the food is basic but delicious. I enjoyed a bacon and egg sandwich followed by a custard slice with a difference - absolutely yummy. Please give the Troops a try when you visit Llandudno and you'll also be supporting a worthwhile cause.

Called into Troop Cafe today for lunch with my granddaughter and was very impressed with the freshly made food and the excellent service. The prices were very reasonable and the cafe has a lovely relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It is located on the coach park, just outside the centre of town so it doesn't get too crowded. There are also tables outside to enjoy a snack in good weather.

This little cafe is a must visit for anyone coming to Llandudno. The prices must the lowest in the area for freshly made food and hot drinks. From the outside it looks like a hut, which it is. Inside is lots of memorabilia from the war. All baps/sandwiches, breakfasts are freshly prepared so you may have to wait a little, but it is really worth any wait you may have. Overall the cafe is a little gem. You will not be disappointed.

As an Ex Soldier, visiting this cafe took me back to my Army days in a good way. Just like the Naafi should have been..lol. The tin hut is just like the B.A.O.R. days and NI of the 70s-90s. The B/Fast was amazing my wife said. (£6.45) Good for the money in a tourist area, Fresh and hot. Great coffee too. Looking at my wife eating that big breakfast was heart breaking..! Lol. Defo not a Kosher Cafe for us in the Jewish Battlion..lol. but an amazing visit. May I be bold and suggest that you visit the War Museum in llandudno and this venue together! Perfect match for kids and adults. Find this little Gem for Brunch or Brekkie and get into the War mood. The Army Marches on its Stomach after all. This cafe also supports Ex Service people, War pensioners like me, so eating here will help provide blessings upon our Hero's, At least ALL the money actully goes to the Service Hero's. So! Visit.support. Enjoy. And "By the Left; Quick March.put your neckin the back of the collar and LOOK UP". LOL

I called in on the strength of the reviews, and noticed that it has been rebranded. It is now called Troops Café, and it has a military theme, with photos on the walls and on the menus. Run as a non-profit making social enterprise, it is very clean and freshly painted and the staff / volunteers were polite and helpful. They advertise home-made soup, but this wasn't available as none had been prepared on the day of my visit. I chose a tuna sandwich instead, and it arrived, on brown bread as requested, with tortilla chips and salad. It was a generous portion, of excellent quality at a reasonable price (£3.49). They deserve to be supported and I would recommend a visit.

This place looks like a little tin shack, which is exactly what it is ! The reason for this is that the place is actually a listed building !! it was also once a Chapel and i believe that there is still a baptism font under the floor in the stockroom. The food is good quality simple fare and the cakes are lovely. the place is clean and bright and the staff are all very willing to help. Good deal for the community.

Excellent little cafe, with the option to eat at the location or take your food away. As you enter, you'll see a cabinet filled with delicious looking cakes, which I belive have been supplied by Popty Conwy Bakery, and these will be hard to resist for most customers, like myself. My partner had a filled bap, which was a generous portion, prepared quickly and was just as edible as the cakes. Other items offered on the menu included soup of the day, cooked breakfasts and a few pasties. Slighly cheaper than eating on the high street and you can also listen to a jukebox playing at random in the background while eating.

This a lovely place to go for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea. Everything is freshly made, reasonable priced and you are supporting the community. You can also buy jams, pickles and souvenirs. The cakes are scrumpticious and you can have a proper dinner for under £5.00, or an all day breakfast. Highly recommended.

This place is on the Coach Park near to the swimming pool and by two shopping areas just on the edge of town. I believe it is run by a charity helping people recover from drink/drug dependency, however the quality of the food is excellent and very reasonably priced. Opposite are BHS, Debenhams and MacD's - all of which I'd avoid and go to Café CAIS for a snack... but then my family are "foodies" and have expectations of decent food. if you have special dietary needs, try Tribelles at nearby North Western Gardens (known to locals as "Bog Island") who cater for celiac and other food needs.

Another visit to this lovely site and this brilliant restaurant. The food is always gorgeous and tasty. The staff are really friendly and always make you feel so welcome. We had two evening meals there and a Sunday Roast which was simply the best we have ever tasted. So you can imagine our shock and horror when we were told that the bar and restaurant is to knocked down to accomodate two more mobile homes. This is an absolute travesty and will be a huge loss to the site. In fact a site with zero facilities will not be top of my list in the future. Thanks to Mo and the team for doing such a brilliant job.

Went for lunch today for the first time. Lovely fresh food. I had the scampi which was nice and golden brown with homemade chips . Husband had the gammon with homemade chips. A joy to find chips cooked like that as a lot of places do frozen. Staff were attentive and friendly, checked we were enjoying our meal. Will definitely return.
