Triumph Bar in Hinckley and Bosworth

Lovely restaurant with good food and excellent service. Special thanks to Chaz and his crew for looking after us and making my son's birthday extra special.

Stopped for drinks on the 13/02/25 with a Friend and had a really good time. Chaz and the other lady working at the day (I think is Julie) do everything to make you feel welcomed. The triumph motorbike behind the counter among the other items displayed in museum style are a side experience. When we went, it was quiet with just a few clients here and there which I personally like. I am definitely coming back again.

Great service this evening in Triumph bar this evening by Megan and Chaz. Chaz went the extra mile to ensure I had what I needed and I felt that the service was very personalised to me and made my experience seamless and easy. Megan was polite and friendly and helpful too. Great service by both…..over and above!!! Thank you!

Visited with my 2 sisters, we had Lovely food, really good service from a young girl (we didn’t get her name) who was very friendly and very helpful service from the lovely Vinu, great atmosphere and overall a really good experience ☺️

I had a good experience, the food was good and the service I received from Chaz was excellent. He was professional, courteous and sociable. I really appreciate that. Because of work training I will be in the area for awhile, So I will definitely make there my go to.

The atmosphere is nice and relaxing, with the décor boasting of the locations motor cycle building heritage. However the food is far from triumph. The fish and chips cost £17.50 now you would think that would get you a nice bit of fish. But what is served was a soggy fish with a questionable provenance, it probably lived half of its life in the freezer. Underneath the soggy mess is what could be described as stale McDonald's chips, you definitely need a soggy something to help it slide down. The staff in all are friendly, except from a certain short hair boy, to whom could be mistaken for Sid from toy story.

We ordered a steak, a burger and some fish and chips. The steak was chewy and dry, the burger was sloppy and dripping with fat, and the chips were the wordy I have ever eaten. They were so hard they were like pellets. I wasn’t expecting an amazing experience, but it barely ticked the edible box. This is the room service food by the way (same menu). Not only was the food terrible but there was one solitary female serving at the bar and a queue of people that went nearly to the door. She was doing a great job but needed help. There were at least 3 or 4 other staff that could have stepped in to help her but they did not. Unless the waitresses were cooking the food which would explain a lot. I would never order food from the Triumph bar and grill ever again.

Great spot for pint and decent food. The staff are friendly and helpful. Absolutely love the Triumph theme 🇬🇧 so the 1200 Thruxton behind the bar was the cherry on top. Currently staying at the hotel and I look forward to visiting the bar on my evenings while I'm here.

The Triumph bar was great, staff excellent and friendly. Food was great, pizza 1 night and fish and chips the second night. All good. Lovely decor with Triumph motorcycle helmets, various components and the Triumph Thruxton behind the bar. Would visit again.

Went to the bar for drinks after work. the bar was busy but I have to call out Chaz who always made an effort to check if we were ok and needed anything. Very friendly guy and it’s exactly what the service industry needs. Don’t loose him!!!

A great place to eat inside the Leonardo Hotel. We were staying at the hotel and went into the bar/restaurant before ir was open. The staff were very accomodating abs key is the many photographs of the various Triumph memorabilia on display. When we returned later, the food was very good with fast service. The half chicken was very moist and tender, the salmon was well cooked and not over cooked and the ribs were tender and sweet. The desserts were equally good and considering it was within the hotel, the price was good. Recommended.

The supervisor Joe i think his name was, tall bloke with glasses was absolutely horrible to me and my daughter, so rude and the way he was speaking about other members of staff and the language he was using around the customers was horrendous, the table next to us couldnt believe the way he spoke to us, definitely will not be returning, absolute shocking that this man is a supervisor, on a positive not not all the staff are bad, one man named Chaz was absolutely lovely, if only certain members of staff took after him this place would be a lot better

Staying here for work and came in to the triumph bar for food which was tasty a d good value for money all the staff are lovely and greet you with a smile I had a guy called chaz serve me and he was brilliant couldn't fault him and the staff behind the bar L and Jamie where friendly and approachable overall had a great experience here

Chaz provided excellent service and tended to our every need. He preempted all of our needs and we are very appreciative for his excellent customer service and we enjoyed the fantastic range of drinks on offer. Excellent bar and excellent service, thank you a much needed fun night in a lovely setting xx

Food was okay, but only one waiter was very nice and careful , hi was friendly, polite , big thanks for Chaz. Looks the restaurant have a lot off stuff to work but they are not organises . And stake was cold and dry .

Chaz the waiter was a delight and very helpful when taking our order. The time waiting for food was a little long and the food didn’t all come out together. The food itself was very nice.

Had a meal in the triumph bar and the food was really good and the staff where really friendly and welcoming especially the waiter Chaz who came over and took our order with a smile making sure everything was to our liking

Came here for dinner last night when staying in the hotel. We ordered our food and the waitress asked how we were going to pay. We said with credit card. A few minutes later she came back with the card machine and we had to pay before the food even arrived. At this point we didn't have high hopes for the food but the adult meals were actually quite nice (we had tomato soup which came with some lovely warm bread and lasagne, which was tasty). The child's meal (hot dog and fries) was a little on the stingy side, ok for our 7-year-old but would not have been enough for an older child. We then ordered some desserts. Again we were asked to pay in advance. We had a different waiter (Chaz) at this time and when he brought the card machine I queried the prices. It turned out that because we hadn't said in advance that we wanted the child's two-course meal we were being charged the adult price (£7) for a child's ice-cream "sundae" (normally +£2.50 in the child's meal-deal). The original waitress was called over and she told us that this was the hotel policy and we should have set up a tab if we wanted to benefit from the meal-deal. I explained that this would have been fine if only she had told us this in advance! It was sorted out in the end though, in a friendly way thanks to Chaz. When the desserts arrived the adults cheesecake was on the small side and not as described (menu said blueberry and it was raspberry) and the ice-cream "sundae" was just some scoops of ice-cream with no sauce/topping/wafer etc.

Had a great evening here. We were served by a lovely gentleman, Charles. Very attentive, gave a great service and even shared tips of where we could go over the weekend .

Excellent bar with a good selection of craft beers. I had a Menabrea Italian beer and a ciabatta sandwich with chicken Parmigiana for £14. Special mention to my waiter, Chaz, who was considerate and kind throughout. Management should take note. Employ more like him please.

Huge issues with the bar honouring their menu prices. They advertise a bottle of Prosecco; Bottega Gold for £30 and the Mumm Champagne at £40, but when you try to purchase them they charge you £88 for the Prosecco and admit that the menus are wrong and they get this complaint a lot. Service is pretty poor during busy periods, but for a hotel bar it has a good vibe and I like the decor.

I visited Triumph Bar last night to eat. The waiter Karl was excellent and ensured my visit was enjoyable and I got everything I needed. Thanks Karl.

Despite being extremely busy, Karl on the bar still remained cheerful and chatty, good customer service

Was one of the best hotel bars around midlands but not now. Been changed and lost excitement. Staff look like dragged through hedge backwards although friendly. Expensive for what you get, pity!

Waiting behind a lady who was being served when the barman tells us to go to the opposite bar as there was no queue. We told him that there was no queue at his bar in a jokey manner to which he insisted we go...
