Had a stroll around Ivybridge and decided to pop in here for some food.. served by the friendliest, helpful and one of the sweetest barmaids ever!! ( sorry didn't get your name) Food was lovely.. and the interior was very clean and comfortable... catering for furry friends too.. Upon leaving the barmaid commented to my sister how much she had enjoyed having us in there which she was bowled over by.. Landlord she is a credit to your establishment.. !!

Very pleasant little pub. Staff very friendly and welcoming , small but good selection of beers. Reasonably priced food menu which was excellent value for money. Everything a good pub should be , the only negative was no real outside seating but that was a minor gripe.

Called first to ask about children going in and they said no problem. Had our 3 Yr old grandchild with us who was excited and laughing alot. Got asked to keep the noise down because the rooms were echoey. How was that our fault. Food mediocre, overpriced, a children's meal exceptionally expensive and dry. Sadly, not very child friendly which is a sad situation

Probably the worst 'Roast' dinner I've ever been served. There was no 'roasting ' of that dinner at all. I have never before seen a carrot resemble a rubber festival band, alas I have now. Air fried food. Awful host. Next time I have guests down we won't be taking them there. Absolutely no doubt there will be a delightful reply!

Comfortably the best Sunday lunch we've had in Ivybridge (although that's not currently a very high bar). £15 a head for a good portion of roast lamb and all the trimmings. Recently changed hands so an update to the website is urgently required to reflect current choice and price (especially wine which is £3 a glass more than advertised). New manager is very personable and seems to have good plans for the future. Give it a go - we enjoyed it!

My daughter and I popped to the Trehill for dinner and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was welcoming, warm and cosy. The fire was on which is always a plus for me. I had two lovely pints of Jail Ale and then gammon, egg and chips. My daughter had the beef burger. Both meals arrived without a long wait (the pub wasn't busy) and were very well presented. More importantly they were very tasty and we really enjoyed what we had. Something to share for a starter might be an option for the menu, but otherwise i couldn't fault it. Thought we would give the pub another chance after we had a disappointing previous visit shortly after the recent reopening. Unfortunately we were disappointed yet again. Ordered drinks and food early evening, a flat pint of Peroni served in an old style non nucleated glass and a very poor glass of pink wine which was almost tasteless. Hey ho - perhaps the food would be okay ....... No it wasn't, gammon steak and chips and chicken parmigiano and chips ordered but sadly the chips tasted old and fusty which I suspect were cooked in old cooking oil the gammon was scrawny but edible and saving grace the two eggs were fine. The chicken parmigiano was also served with fusty stale tasting chips, the rocket salad had no parmesan shavings, the chicken was okay but again did not seen to be freshly cooked and the dressing was certainly not parmigiano and was quite tasteless. The food was generally not up to Gastro Pub standards by any means and finally the drinks in my opinion drastically overpriced. We will not be visiting again until the pub closes again and further new management take over with a qualified chef and bar staff who know how to serve drinks properly.

Have visited the Trehill arms twice before once for an evening meal with husband and son and secondly a lunch with family both times service was excellent, very attentive food delicious and fairly well priced. Sunday roast, however, is massively over priced for what you get Beef £22 and Lamb £18 plus you have to pay an extra £1 for Yorkshire pudding. We didn't see a child's options and didn't think to ask either but then also it never got mentioned when ordering. Arriving late on at 5 was only choice of beef or lamb. Won't be returning for roast dinner

Well I have been here 3 times now twice with the previous management and my 3rd visit will be my last. The portions are considerably small now, I know the cost of living has hit everyone but surely with what's served you can't still push the price up. I had the salmon and I felt like I was pushing a salt container around my mouth. My companion had the crab linguine and let's just say we needed a magnifying glass to find the crab, and the pasta tasted of rubber. We are so so disappointed and feel robbed of our money. I'm all for supporting local businesses but where is Gordon Ramsey when you need him. I won't be coming back in the future, safe to say it was a wasted trip.
