We had stopped going owing to the menu changing and cleanliness of the place. Went back yesterday and it was a pleasant experience the waiter called George was very nice..polite helpful and smart appearance all good. Chips could have been hotter but we will be definitely be returning on the understanding George serves us ..

dreadfully food for the second time around first time burger came out uncooked second time fries were cold and were the scrag ends from the bottom of the fryer the burgers this time were cremated dry tasteless avoid this place shockingly bad

Called to this place during the week without a reservation and had a very good meal of grilled Salmon and my friend had a burger at very reasonable prices. The only criticism would be not enough potatoes with the grilled salmon. Excellent service with all the staff. Highly recommend this place for everyone.

Was greeted by the lovely lady on the front desk I think she was the restaurant manager. Ordered drinks at bar then she shown to our table. Service was very fast and the waitress was very helpful too. Be back soon

I came here for a couple of drinks last weekend with my cousin who was visiting from New Zealand and my Auntie! My Auntie had a free bottle of wine for her birthday- u have a lovely beer ( or 2) I can’t remember the name of the IPA but it came in a really nice glass! The staff were really friendly especially Hannah and Ryan who were super helpful! Thanks - we will be back when we’re visiting Nottingham again!

I'm not usually a fussy eater (and I was very hungry!) but left feeling annoyed and still hungry. Poor quality food for high prices

Stopped in on the way back home from watching Bradford Dragons play at Nottingham Hoods basketball. Didn't book in advance and they managed to find us a table in the bar area. We all enjoyed the food, no complaints so would go again.

Had kerry serving us, she was lovely and so polite and quick service. Would definitely recommend! Lovely food and atmosphere.

We came for a meal today for my grandson birthday. Our food was dry I ordered roast salmon the piece was so small and dry 3 prawns the potatoes were so hard there was one and a half new potato you couldn’t get your fork in it. For £17.99 I would expect a little more. My grandson had the same his was just as bad. And the rest of our party didn’t have anything nice to say about the food. Also the service was terrible it took 20 minutes before someone took the order. Another 30mins for it to arrive. Then when we had finished we sat with dirty plates in front of us for a further 30 minutes until I asked for table to be cleared. Not once were we asked if everything was ok or if we wanted anything else. We will not be returning.

Nice pub, good food, friendly helpful staff and a nice atmosphere. Got us a table even though we hadn't booked on a busy Friday evening.

went here for my mums birthday dinner last night. the waitress, chloe, was very friendly and helpful. i forgot candles for the birthday cake and chloe had put some on for us when she brought the cake out. also the food was lovely. will be back

The service and staff were very good.We had Sunday lunch which was adequate for the price. But I struggled to find my beef which wasn't pink on my plate Suppose I didn't expect that much for the price.

Went here for a meal but never got the chance to have food. Table were very grimy and filthy. When asked for someone to clean it, a very angry young woman came with a dirty rag and proceeded to to clean literally where we were going to have our plates laid. Ended up leaving

Went for a lovely breakfast on Sunday. The outside area looks fresh and welcome with new furniture all round. Had a lovely late breakfast in the bar area. , Good menu - vegetarians well catered for - friendly and quick service.

Came here on Saturday with my partner for food, we really enjoyed it here. I had Sirloin steak with chips and peppercorn sauce and my partner had a honey chicken burger. We had to wait a while for food but we wasn’t in a rush and it was so worth the wait. The steak was cooked exactly how I like and the burger looked great too. Service was so friendly, from the moment we walked in the staff all smiling and friendly. We will definitely be back here again.

We arrived at The Tree Tops and was greeted by manager Tiff and seated promptly and asked if we wanted drinks. Drinks arrived in good time to say it was very busy. Food order obtain by Jess suggestions of sides were given to. Food arrived looking amazing and piping hot all food was hot and adjustments made to meet each individuals needs. Check back given and asking if we required anymore drinks. Plates cleared at a reasonable time and given dessert menus order obtained and delivered and were all yummy to finish off our meal. Would highly recommend this restaurant especially if you have a dog as it’s amazing to be able to eat inside with your pet they also provide water bowls and dog treats which is amazing to see. Amazing family meal

Nice pub,but sadly I was underwhelmed by the food, I ordered a beef Sunday roast, The meat was luke warm Nd not a great cut, Also the Yorkshire pudding, we not done very well,soggy ,but also rock hard in places The Service nd Staff were great, just a shame about the Sunday Dinner

Food was really nice. However the waitress managed to spill a full pint of beer over two of our party, soaking them and the table. Accidents happen, but the lack of urgency to clean it up or make amends was disappointing. “Someone will bring you some blue roll” was as much attention as we got and it was a good five minutes before the colleague arrived with the blue roll. Didn’t even offer to discount the bill.

Really enjoyed the overall experience waitress service excellent didn't have to wait too long food good and reasonably priced the only downside for me was walking to the toilet which felt like we were intruding on the people eating there the tree tops will definitely be a pub /destination where we would choose to eat again

We have been lots of times to the Tree Tops and always recommend to everyone how fantastic the service and food is This time we sat outside in the newly refurbished garden with our little dog had food and drinks and again we had an amazing time Thank you to all staff

Friendly staff but the food was extremely disappointing! We waited a while for mains and went in to check how long it would be. The young waitress looked up at the screen and apologised saying it was already ready. When it was brought out it had obviously been sat under a heat lamp for a while as all 3 meals had dried out!

Lovely meal today with my daughter. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Service was efficient and quick. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Toilets were clean and big car park. Would highly recommend.

Great place for a lunchtime meet. Good, reasonably priced food and good selection of beers. Sadly my last visit the staff we're much younger with less experience. It was not busy but a wait of 1 hours and 10 minutes before our food order was even taken....... I hope this is a short-term issue.

Had the hunters chicken, took me ages to actually find the chicken, and hardly any sauce, taste fine and lovely place but there were 3 of us, cost quite a bit but they kept on eating there's as I finished mine because it was very lacking in amount

Staff is not friendly or welcoming, no a "hi" from the staff. What do you want ? It was the welcoming after waiting for a while to be seated. The fish and chips were not good, and the fish's batter looked very dark . It seems that they don't change the oil frequently.

Took the family to celebrate my daughters 40th birthday. My daughter requested steak well done, it came pink so asked if it could be cooked a little more. We waited 10mins for her meal to arrive back and the steak had garlic sauce on baring in mind my daughter asked for it to be plain when we first ordered. I took the meal back to the counter and we had to wait for the manager to come out, baring in mind my meal was cold by this time. All she said was I'm sorry obviously the chef wasn't aware that you wanted it plain, by this point my daughter didnt want her dinner as we would have had to wait whilst they cooked another steak, and everyone would have finished their main course, so I paid for the meals we had eaten and just wanted to leave as her birthday meal had been ruined. I would also like to mention that when you have gammon and pineapple you usually get a ring of pineapple, I got a wedge of fresh sour pineapple which spoilt my meal. It looked like a wedge of cheese. Won't go back again and won't reccomend to my friends or family

4 Adults for lunch, overall disappointed. Roasted vegatable pie was soggy pastry with a 'wet red' filling. Steak (gristle) and ale pie , asked for chips, recieved mash. Ice cream with dessert was the cheapest possible ice cream (mainly ice) Had nice meals before, this wasn't one.

Very quiet being late lunch time .most people were sat outside .in the sun. The food was excellent and very fresh . the staff very friendly will definitely be going again very soon .

Called in for a meal 4pm saturday after a day out and on our way home It was a beautiful sunny day when we arrived and the garden tables were packed and a good few inside as well so we thought we would be in for a wait but We were found a table order taken got drinks food in less than 15 mins brilliant service from brilliant staff and lovely food in a lovely clean bar A bit more expensive than others but worth every penny thanks to all staff

Had a lovely time today here with family, food was delicious and our server kerry was brilliant. Would definitely recommend!

We came here to celebrate my brother in law and my daughters birthday. The young lad that served us found it incredibly difficult to crack a smile, talking seemed like the biggest effort and even rolled his eyes when my dads partner asked to close the door. Throughout the time we spent there I don't think any of the staff smiled apart from the duty manager. There was a young girl who we spoke to a few times and every single time she had a face like thunder and looked like she hated every second of working there. On a previous time we visited, her attitude was the same then too. It's a shame as we have been coming here for years and we spend a lot of money here but the staff just seem to be putting us off coming again. The food was lovely, can't fault any of that but the service was absolutely dire.

I have literally just left this place and couldnt even wait until i got home to write this review. Where do i start? Service was good to begin with. Not sure of his name but was served by a young lad who was polite and attentive. Food was ok at best most of what i orderd was over cooked which i wasnt to botherd about condisering its a pub and 9 times out of ten pub food isnt great. The most shocking part for me was the fact i waited almost 20 mins for someone to bring over the bill. To which at this point no one had attended the table we was sat at. We had out todler with us who is not even 2 yet and he started to become frustrated so i thought as im still waiting i will help my partner with the puschair down the 3 sets of steps she has to go down to get to car then i will go to the bar and pay. Literally within a minute of leaving the table bearing mind drinks ect are still there i was confronted by a lady called Emma who rather than actually come over to talk to me bearing in mind i was still by the front of the pub decided to shout as loud as she could so everyone seated outside could hear. you have left without paying the bill. I tried to explain the situation to her and again got nothing but attitude. We are normally frequent visitors but after tonight and pure utter rudness and arrogance of Emma we will no longer be returning.

I used to come here back in the early 2,000's, then it was brilliant ! And may still be ❓ My Gripe was when we went it was on a maybe Wednesday/Thursday, They sold us some beverages 2 x single JD's + Coke + Ice, led us away to our table Gave us a menu each, we both said we don't need menu's, we kno what we want Roast Dinner, Ooops ❓ We only Serve Roast Dinner on Sundays Only.. So it cost us about £11+ To find out we can't get a Roast Dinner. Only on a Sunday The staff was 💯% as for Food And Atmosphere I cannot Discuss or Leave Feedback on.... M.h.

Steaks were amazing ! The food was good , and the service was excellent.

I've been here before and it's been lovely. Unfortunately today was a shambles. Understandably, it was a bank holiday so it was expected for it to be busy but not to wait 1h30 for our food! Only for the chicken burger to be RAW! My poor boyfriend took a bite out of it and is now subject to potential food poisoning. My "roasted vegetable ciabatta" wasn't much better. From soggy bottomed bread (how this happened I'm baffled), to a lack of actual roasted vegetables, we both left disappointed and hungry. Luckily the staff were very polite, and friendly offering a refund for the burger. I'm always empathetic towards waiting staff especially on a bank holiday, but I am appalled that this level of food can be served by the chefs (even under pressure).

Had a great Chicken and Bacon Ciabatta this evening would 100% recommend

Had a fab meal this evening with family. Was seated quickly, orders taken and meals served with minimal waiting. Our server Elpi was really friendly, polite and happy to help with our menu queries. Thank you for a lovely meal, will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend.

Thought it looked good as near the gym where I go. Wanted to give it a go whilst do work emails etc. ordered the sirloin steak with the rosemary fries. I must have had about quarter of the steak that I would manage to cut with a steak knife, this is after spitting out some of it that the knife couldn’t cut. I told the gentleman who served me to say the steak is chew I wasn’t after anything I just wanted them to know. I also said the fries didn’t have the rosemary that’s why I ordered them, and there were mostly like boiled potatoes (soft/wet). He said I will speak to my manager, and then after I asked for the bill when paying I said so is there anything to say, he said the manger said the steaks are chewy so I said but couldn’t be bothered to come and speak to me? Didn’t really want anything but acknowledgement would have been appreciated.

Great food great service great drinks I haven't been here for years but the change is amazing.

Place is lovely, food was good the first waitress was attentive but once our food arrived noone came back to us, the server was going to tables around us but not once came and asked if we wanted another drink or anything else took us half hour to get his attention to ask for the bill once that arrived we then had to go and find someone to pay it too, 3 hours we were there yes we could have gone to the bar ourselves but as everyone around was getting table service we assumed we would?

Food was good. My steak on my mixed grill was surprisingly good

Came here tonight, was served by a lovely young lady called lea. Service was spot on she was extremely helpful. She answered all of our questions and made us feel very welcome. Definitely will be returning again.

Have not been here for years. It is now Greeneking pub. The deco was lovely, nice and bright and modern. Had a real nice buzzing atmosphere and staff were friendly. Disappointed with lunch. 3 of us had Salmon, we got the tiniest portion, no veg but loaded with new potatoes which we didn't enjoy. Mentioned this to waitress who said we could order a salad which we declined. After that she didn't bother with us to see if we wanted another drink or sweet.

We had an amazing family meal and o celebrate two birthdays We were greeted at the door in a friendly manner and shown to our table Drinks were taken by our friendly polite waiter George followed by our food order Food arrived very hot and tasty and check backs were carried out throughout with the offer of more drinks and desserts were offered We love visiting this restaurant for special occasions as we are never disappointed of how tasty and well presented the food is but also how clean the environment is to the friendly accommodating the staff are would highly recommend as per usual you never seem to let us down

Pleasant little bar, lovely Sunday roast only let down by "cardboard" Yorkshire puddings. Plenty of meat, loads of veg. Shame there was only one alcohol free cider on offer.

We held a family event here on Saturday lunchtime. The food was excellent and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. They definitely went the extra mile and it was much appreciated.

We enjoyed our family meal celebrating the in laws wedding anniversary we had a 3 course meal ranging from main menu and the kids menu The service was amazing throughout Elpi was our waiter but I would also like to say that manager Tiff and her team were all so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Even the kitchen team were able to accommodate some of our meals due to dislikes like salad dressing nothing else as too much trouble. It was very busy due to it being half term however on each course the meals arrived hot and looking delicious. The food was scrumptious throughout we will definitely be returning and even recommended the lunch time menu to relatives who visited the day after and their reviews were fantastic too. Thanks for making our food experience one to remember from beginning to end 🌟

You walk into this place and think this is a place to be. Relaxing, nice and friendly staff. Great food and a great selection of beer wines and spirits. Just sit down and take the essence of this place. Best place I felt for a long time. Well done to all the staff.

Came down from Pocklington Nr York to take our Godmother out for her birthday. We were looked after so well by Noah. Never felt pressured to make a food choice. He new answers to our questions. And remembered who ordered what when he bought the food. All of which was delicious and piping hot. Thankyou for lovely afternoon

This pub is quite handy and served us well. WE went in for an early dinner. with four generations. So we had aimed for choice. my son and i had a mixed grill my wife and her mother shared the chicken platter and my granddaughter ordered the kids sausage mash and beans. my Granddaughter did not like the sausages ate her mash and beans but the sausage allhough hot inside looked barely cooked. in fact she had spat out the first bite as it had burnt her mouth. my wifes sharing platter was inherently dry. overcooked onion rings over cooked and dry chicken pieces The chicken wings being the best of what was a poor choice. as my wife was sharing with her mother we had ordered additional chips which never materialised anywhere but on the bill. ( which was challenged immediately. The mixed grills were under whelming and at the price point you would expect better. to be fare the steak was cooked perfectly. But you got a large plate of chips a dry chicken breast the sausage was cheap and again looked under cooked as did the black pudding which my son had looked forward to. but left half of it . all in all dissappointing and will be an experience not to be repeated.

Love this place! Never felt that bothered about a place before but this has in the last year become our regular! The staff treat you so personally - they have lovely food, great service and the pub is just stunning. Nadine is very personable, friendly and fun. Not the mention the rest of the team, they’re all really wonderful people with real passions for customer service. I feel safe and welcomed and wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Thankyou all xxx

Me and my family come to this pub anytime we have an occasion to celebrate. We choose this pub because it's a great local, it's accessible, and the food is always great- never had a bad meal here, they cater for all! There's always a lovely atmosphere, it's warm and cozy and there's a great sense of community - everyone seems to know the staff and jokes are always being had whilst the service stays efficient. It's a really lovely pub! If you like prawns, you must try theirs, they are huge and juicy with the perfect crunch when bitten into

Family meal out with the in-laws Lots to choose from off the main menu and specials We had a 3 course meal which was all presented to high standards hot ant tasty It was nice to be able to have the turkey burger special again after having it over the festive period and i was very impressed. My mother in law asked for some adaptations to her salad due to her dislikes and these were carried out. The service was impeccable from beginning to end polite and was at hand offering their service of more drinks etc when checking back. Atmosphere and cleanliness was to a high standard will definitely continue to visit again in fact we have booked for my daughters birthday this weekend.

Food fine and service fine the spoiler is 4 trad beers on and Deucha,s was like cider so well passed it... Did inform deputy duty manager but wether it was removed I doubt it

Family meet up. The pub was draughty and cold. Service was good. Food wasn't very hot especially with the pub being so cold. The flatbread was too hard to roll or cut.

First time dining there. We were greeted by a lovely lady who's smile was contagious and were made to feel welcome from the start. Really clean venue, friendly staff. The food was well presented and was really tasty. Good value. Comfortable surroundings and the staff couldn't do enough for us.Can't recommend this place enough.

Three of us went to Tree Tops on Sunday night, we had the New Years Eve Menu which had some great choices on it. I had the sirloin steak, it was perfectly cooked and very tasty. The staff are really friendly and will do anything for you. A night to remember!

Lovely place lovely meal and very helpful and courteous service

Wasn’t happy yesterday going for our usual Boxing Day meal with all the family. 4 of us ordered the hunters chicken and when it came out i thought it was a child’s portion as the chicken breast looked more like a sparrow! Not to mention the tea spoon of coleslaw which I had to ask for another pot. Very poor to say the least.

What a lovely building , huge car park and pleasant interior ….. that’s the only positive I will give this place . If you want grumpy service , rude unsmiling staff and frozen food trot along . It is truly appalling .
