Place is lovely, food was good the first waitress was attentive but once our food arrived noone came back to us, the server was going to tables around us but not once came and asked if we wanted another drink or anything else took us half hour to get his attention to ask for the bill once that arrived we then had to go and find someone to pay it too, 3 hours we were there yes we could have gone to the bar ourselves but as everyone around was getting table service we assumed we would?

Food was good. My steak on my mixed grill was surprisingly good

Have not been here for years. It is now Greeneking pub. The deco was lovely, nice and bright and modern. Had a real nice buzzing atmosphere and staff were friendly. Disappointed with lunch. 3 of us had Salmon, we got the tiniest portion, no veg but loaded with new potatoes which we didn't enjoy. Mentioned this to waitress who said we could order a salad which we declined. After that she didn't bother with us to see if we wanted another drink or sweet.

Food was nice, good portion size and good value for money. Nice and clean and nice atmosphere.

Waited to get served at the bar. Ignored me. And than served someone else who had just walked in. Worst places going. Eventually walked out.

Pleasant little bar, lovely Sunday roast only let down by "cardboard" Yorkshire puddings. Plenty of meat, loads of veg. Shame there was only one alcohol free cider on offer.

We held a family event here on Saturday lunchtime. The food was excellent and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. They definitely went the extra mile and it was much appreciated.

You walk into this place and think this is a place to be. Relaxing, nice and friendly staff. Great food and a great selection of beer wines and spirits. Just sit down and take the essence of this place. Best place I felt for a long time. Well done to all the staff.

This pub is quite handy and served us well. WE went in for an early dinner. with four generations. So we had aimed for choice. my son and i had a mixed grill my wife and her mother shared the chicken platter and my granddaughter ordered the kids sausage mash and beans. my Granddaughter did not like the sausages ate her mash and beans but the sausage allhough hot inside looked barely cooked. in fact she had spat out the first bite as it had burnt her mouth. my wifes sharing platter was inherently dry. overcooked onion rings over cooked and dry chicken pieces The chicken wings being the best of what was a poor choice. as my wife was sharing with her mother we had ordered additional chips which never materialised anywhere but on the bill. ( which was challenged immediately. The mixed grills were under whelming and at the price point you would expect better. to be fare the steak was cooked perfectly. But you got a large plate of chips a dry chicken breast the sausage was cheap and again looked under cooked as did the black pudding which my son had looked forward to. but left half of it . all in all dissappointing and will be an experience not to be repeated.

Love this place! Never felt that bothered about a place before but this has in the last year become our regular! The staff treat you so personally - they have lovely food, great service and the pub is just stunning. Nadine is very personable, friendly and fun. Not the mention the rest of the team, they’re all really wonderful people with real passions for customer service. I feel safe and welcomed and wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Thankyou all xxx

Me and my family come to this pub anytime we have an occasion to celebrate. We choose this pub because it's a great local, it's accessible, and the food is always great- never had a bad meal here, they cater for all! There's always a lovely atmosphere, it's warm and cozy and there's a great sense of community - everyone seems to know the staff and jokes are always being had whilst the service stays efficient. It's a really lovely pub! If you like prawns, you must try theirs, they are huge and juicy with the perfect crunch when bitten into

Family meet up. The pub was draughty and cold. Service was good. Food wasn't very hot especially with the pub being so cold. The flatbread was too hard to roll or cut.

Wasn’t happy yesterday going for our usual Boxing Day meal with all the family. 4 of us ordered the hunters chicken and when it came out i thought it was a child’s portion as the chicken breast looked more like a sparrow! Not to mention the tea spoon of coleslaw which I had to ask for another pot. Very poor to say the least.

Even though I was there for a wake it was still a lovely place, lovely food was laid on and plenty of tea and coffee. Very nice place.

Haven't been for quite some time and read mixed reviews. We were having a family get together and there were 15 of us. Booked at Treetops because tbh they were the only place who could take us without any hassle. Wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. We all ordered a variety of food and it all came at the same time and was nice and hot. Everyone commented on how good the food was and we all had a nice time. When we ordered dessert the waiter came and told us there might be a wait as they were getting busy but we didn't have to wait long at all. A special mention to the young waiter who was very professional and patient as one or two of the party changed things slightly. I think his name is George. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Nice to see a new face behind the bar, think her name was Nadine, had a lovely conversation about wine, very helpful!

Recently visited with friends on a sunny afternoon with our dogs to sit outside. This area is in dire need of a makeover. The table and benches are very unstable and each time one of our party stood up we all held on for fear of the whole thing collapsing. The floor is littered with cigarette ends and waste food, not somewhere I would like my dogs to lay. We ordered food but my fish had been fried ro within an inch of its life and unedible and the tartare sauce had obviously been sat for a while as a skin had formed on top, no, I didn't complain as the staff were busy and in all honesty looking at everyone else's food.. I had lost my appetite. The food is certainly not cheap but definitely looks it. Looking at other reviews many are complaining about the awful food but just a generic "sorry, and we will take it on board" reply is given but nothing appears to be changing. Such a shame as its dog friendly and local but we won't be visiting again.

We went for a family meal on Sunday and it was appalling. The beef was as tough as leather, cold vegetables and just disgusting food altogether. The vegetarian meal was just inedible. The prices are not reasonable, especially serving this very low standard of food. I rang and spoke to the apparent manager on Tuesday "Tiffany"who was very dismissive and not once did she he apologise for out terrible experience. Customer service training is very much required for this individual. Many of the latest reviews feel the same, my advice would be to avoid this pub/restaurant and spend your money on decent food in other establishments

Ordered fish chips and peas x 2 and the fish was very dry and turned up at both ends and no fish inside as it had been fried to much , complained and we was served a second fish was just as bad, no refund offered and the bill was £46 Will not be visiting for a second time

Staff are always switched on & very friendly. Play area & outdoor seating. Very clean & tidy. Like everywhere, it's gone up in price, particularly the drinks. Sunday lunches are a bit hit & miss but the rest of the menu is usually quite good, with lots of vegetarian options. Good for larger gatherings but always need to book.

Meal was nice but not hot enough

I went here yesterday for my daughter in law's birthday with family and friends. The table was booked for 7.15pm and our table wasn't ready until much later. Various steaks were ordered and the waitress read our orders back to us so we know she had definitely got them right for the kitchen. Starters were correct. Then the fiasco began. Various steak meals were ordered. One was fillet and the other ribeye. The waitress arrived with plates in hand and asked who had ordered steak. We asked which steaks and she hadn't got a clue. She then gave my husband his fillet steak with mushrooms which he had expressly asked for them not to be on his meal. He also queried it wasn't fillet. Other meals arrived. Again waitress didn't know which steak was which. Then another waitress appeared to say my husband had the wrong steak which we had queried with the first waitress. Two guests only received their meals when the other 10 guests had nearly finished their meals. And they only got their meals after 3 members of staff had asked what was missing. When we received the bill a portion of fries was still on it even though we never received them. All in all this was an extremely frustrating and expensive experience. My daughter in law did express her disappointment to the restaurant.

Had chicken skewer here today, after waiting 30 mins for my food to arrive the chicken was cold so I complained and they kindly replaced it as they should. Unfortunately the replacement took another 20 mins to arrive and came without replacement chips. Also the replacement peppers on the skewer we're raw. Very disappointed as the food is normally far batter. 😕

We came 2 weeks ago at lunch time and had a lovely experience however, we were very disappointed with today! Our food was cold, we didn’t received what we ordered and had to ask several times for things to be corrected. Senior staff were attentive but our waitress definitely needs more training as we pointed to the items we wanted on the menu, but still didn’t receive the correct product. Everything seemed very half done

Booked for a party of 15, more came so maybe this is why the service was poor, late meals and even meals forgotten. Also the quality of the food wasn't great.

We have not been here for over 1year,we went today!!! We ordered 2 steaks meals, the worst meals we have ever eaten. The waitress didn't care a bout our dismay ,so disappointed, NEVER,to return.

I would love to recommend Tree Tops Restaurant. Monday 16th January my Son booked a table for five for my Birthday, well he thought he had online but didn’t confirm. We arrived & were greeted & seated with the upmost courtesy even tho our booking hadn’t gone through. The staff were utterly amazing nothing too much trouble & the food too was outstanding so fresh & well presented.

Yet another great Christmas family get together at Tree Tops Mapperley Nottingham. It was a busy Saturday night before Christmas and the restaurant was full but the service and food were excellent. We were well looked after by Kerry our waitress on the night but she had left for the night by the time we came to settle our bill. This was a shame as I would like to have thanked her personally for being so attentive to our party particularly to Ella who is in a wheel chair with disabilities.

Went and had lunch today and enjoyed it. The service from all the staff was excellent and I will be going again on Wednesday.

Very busy at lunchtime today so it was a good job we had booked. Service was a bit slow between courses but the food was hot and tasty. We ordered apple crumble with custard for dessert and asked for extra custard for which we were charged £1.00 each. I know times are hard but that seemed rather mean - they should have just filled up the jugs.

Food was ok on the whole apart from finding something in one of the meals . Delivery was disjointed coming at various times.( Five meals ) . One dessert wasn't even served admittedly not charged for .

We arrived without booking and were soon seated comfortably. The meals were ordered and arrived at our table fairly quickly and were well cooked and tasty. Thanks for a great experience.

Don’t work here. If your looking for a job this is the last place that I would recommend. First of all, there are very little staff benefits, the only free food you get are the left over scraps in the kitchen. Staff will only act nice to your face and talk badly about you behind your back. During my time there I felt very excluded with the older staff being more praised. I was constantly frowned upon for the smallest mistakes and the pressures of the job is not worth the pay (minimum wage). Finally, my experience got worse when leaving as I felt very deceived by the company. Despite the agreements in my contract about my pay in my last weeks, they failed to issue me the correct pay and declined my calls and texts when I tried to communicate. I also found out that I was approved of too many holidays (they said I was entitled to them but turns out I wasn’t). As a result, I had to take matters into my own hands and issue the problem with the payroll department. In conclusion, if your job hunting, look elsewhere!

Slow service, staff clearly stressed and a little terse.

Fantastic service from Sophie who knew exactly what was available and recommended the vegetarian beyond burger which genuinely couldn't be told from beef and was good eating.

Lunch time menu varied and something for everyone. Staff very friendly and efficient enjoyed the steak sandwich.

Dreadful meal. Still discovering where to eat in this area, but so disappointing. Not pricey I know, but if you can't get a Sunday Roast half right that says it all. Beef looked like offcuts, ,top tough to chew, veggies and roast potatoes certainly looked and tasted frozen. Shame, nice stafff and , nice building .

Nipped in for our evening tea very nice clean profesional freindly.ladie at the door found s table for us .I think it's best to book as it gets very busy. Prices roughly about £10/15 a meal. .will return Plenty parking spaces .nice play park at the back toilets very clean .

Food is great, service not so. I’ve been here a few times and the food is always nicely cooked and good value. However the service let’s it down staff showed us to our table quickly and order was taken swiftly after this we had to ask for everything, more drinks, tables to be cleared and desert menus and then I had to get up to ask for the bill. All in all it’s okay and wouldn’t stop me going back but needs improvement

Went here last night. On arrival,noticed a lot of people in the car park area drinking and generally being a bit loud.parking for disabled people being taken up by company and private vans. On entering the building, we noticed that none of the staff looked happy in their work. The food came quite quickly but the portions were small for the price. On the whole,the food was OK,but not memorable.not very inviting and a bit pricey for what it is.

More expensive than wetherspoons but everything tastes good. I had the bbq burger and it came with pulled pork or beef and it was so nice, the chips were seasoned nicely. It was about £12 I think. My daughter had a make your own pasta dish and a drink and massive sundae for about a fiver. The brownie sundae on the adults menu has MASSIVE slices of brownie couldn't believe it, was well worth the money. Staff were really friendly too. I'd go again.

Nice leafy outdoor area with plenty of tables. Large car park but set away from the main road makes for a relaxed atmosphere.

Not great completely changes the menu

During half term, the weather was great and we wanted a relaxed place to enjoy a lovely dinner with the family. A place that could accommodate everyone’s needs, and Tree Tops – Pub and Grill was the famous choice for everyone. I hadn’t been to it before myself but as soon as I got there it was clear as to why it was chosen by my family. The outdoor space was specious. The outside tables are set in a way that you don’t feel unsafe because you are too close to another group having their lovely time during this pandemic. The children’s play area was a hit with our 5 year old and ensured she also had the best evening as the grownups enjoyed their drinks and lovely chat. The pub is great looking and setup in a quiet neighbourhood, great foods and amazing service with very warm staff. Totally recommend this pub.

After a long time being away, it was good to get out yesterday with the sun shining and everybody enjoying themselves. Had a lovely meal with the family, and enjoyed seeing the friendly staff again. It wasn't perfect, but some people need to stop moaning and get on with what we can do!

Yesterday I visited Treetops for the first time. It was a great experience.On arrival we were greeted by a lovely black-haired hostess in a dark trenchcoat. She politely asked us to sign in with the track and trace app for safety of ourselves and other customers. She needed to see a confirmation that we all signed in with the app which was great to see.Knowing that all customers signed on gave me reassurance that the venue was safe and compliant with covid guidance. I appreciate that it puts extra pressure on the staff but in my opinion its a very reasonable thing to do for everyones safety.The food arrived promptly and was excellent. I can't remember the last time I ate out, but this experience made me realise how much we've missed it. Tree Tops is a great and safe place to enjoy eating out again. Will definitely be coming back soon and I will have the beetroot steak again.

I was very disappointed with the set up to be honest. They had just dragged a few tables into the car park. Other pubs have put up marquees and seem to have made a real effort. The ordering system was confusing you can go to the bar and open a tab but then have to wait for table service. It took about half an hour to get a first drink. My main issue was the greeter lady who was not the warmest of people demanding that I do the track and trace then demanding that I show her my phone to prove I had done it. Both me and my partner were demanded to do this. It just felt a bit over the top and I’ve never had to show anyone in a bar my phone before it made me feel uncomfortable to be honest. Will definitely be trying other bars now.

We called in last Sunday for an impromptu lunch, just the two of us of course, only one household! (Strange times!!) We felt really safe and comfortable, a smiling waitress explained how everything worked.The staff were all really friendly, and the food was really good. I would definitely recommend the steak & ribs. I also had my favourite chocolate ice cream, the best in the area. Hopefully we'll be back again soon.

Over priced beer disrespectful staff

We came on Tuesday night and had a great time. The service was lovely from the welcome off the ladies at the front to our friendly server at the table, we couldn’t praise them enough. Food was good too and we felt really safe throughout.

No me impresionó. Vino a cenar y pidió las fajitas. Llegaron sin salsa y cuando pregunté “dónde está la salsa” me dijeron que se les había acabado. En su lugar, se ofreció salsa de hamburguesas. Me hubiera gustado que me hubieran dicho si el restaurante no pudiera ofrecer la comida como se describe en el menú. El marido tenía una hamburguesa que era mediocre y mi padre tenía un bistec que no era comestible debido a que era demasiado duro.Normalmente no dejo malas críticas, pero realmente no nos impresionó en esta ocasión.

Myself and husband recently visited and was not impressed! Food came out cold and although sent back, when returned was only luke warm! Salad was limp and looked as though it had been left sitting for a while.Staff were friendly and did there best but sadly will not return.

Es genial ver este lugar reabrir. La reserva (en línea) fue fácil, la bienvenida muy buena, el servicio muy bueno, la calidad de la comida estuvo bien: comida de pub bien preparada, el lugar dispuesto con mucho espacio entre las mesas y marcas de dirección claras, el personal con cara viseras. Todo estaba bien pensado.Mi única queja real fue que cuando llegó la factura, no incluía el 50% de descuento (visitamos un martes). Noté en el sitio web cuando reservé que este lugar afirmaba estar utilizando el programa de descuentos del gobierno. Pregunté al camarero por qué no se había aplicado automáticamente y me dijeron que tenía que solicitarlo. Esperaba que se aplicara automáticamente. No es bueno, dejó caer una estrella por eso. .

Nuestra primera comida en Tree Tops después de Lockdown. . . Dudábamos un poco sobre qué esperar, pero no teníamos que serlo. . de entrar al pub. . siendo recibido por Mateusz con una sonrisa de abrazo en su rostro, ofreció desinfectante de manos para usar, dirigido a nuestra mesa. No estaba seguro de cómo usar la aplicación. . No tenía que preocuparme de que Charlotte me ayudara. La aplicación es una adición fabulosa y creo que Greene King debería conservarla. Para colmo, comida, bebidas traídas a la mesa muy rápidamente. Ambiente encantador. Bien hecho equipo en Tree Tops. . . volveremos

It’s brilliant to see tree tops open again and to be greeted by lovely staff. We had fish and chips and a Katus curry all were excellent. Beer nice and cold we felt comfortable and will be back again. Thank you all X

Had ultimate Turkey roast quickly served and very filling.

Brought my elderly grandmother in a wheelchair for lunch. I had booked a table ahead of time, so they had given us a table on the level, and when we arrived staff very quickly whisked away two of the chairs so I could seat her at the table.The member of staff who waited on us was very pleasant and helpful, especially in assisting with finding my grandmother something she wanted to eat.Between us we had chicken and chips, steak and chips, and roast beef. My only criticism of the food is that the roast beef was not, despite what the menu said, served pink! It was alright, but could really have done with a bit less cooking! However, the rest of the plate was spot on.We all had icecream for desert - great range of flavours!

Visited with my wife at midday on 1st March 2020 and ordered the sweet chilli chicken burger. I have had this meal several times at two others Greene King Inns and it has always been delicious, with chicken breast in a crispy crumb coating and tasty green sweet chilli sauce. On this occasion there was no crisp crumb coating and the meat, which was in two pieces, was slimy. It did not look, feel or taste like chicken breast at all and was quite disgusting. Never again.

Ate here with family, food came out soo quick and couldn’t fault a thing, clear plates all round, and brilliant service!we will be back for sure!

Went with friends for a meal after work. Great service from Ash - suggest you ask for her - she is helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable. Ash runs a great quiz monthly. Good choice of menu and drinks. Good value for money.

We were really looking forward to our meal last night. What a disappointment. We were informed that no larger was available as the gas in the pumps had gone Our 4 meals came out together. Perfect. The steak dinner, supposedly cooked medium well, turned out to be medium rare and bled into the salad. We had to send this back. Obviously! So we would of eaten at separate times. Not good. We just decided to leave which is really unfortunate because we have had many meals here. The staff tho are always polite and curtious especially the manageress that was working last night.

Been many times, each time the service gets slower. I had Hunters Chicken, the bacon was limp and under cooked and I found a piece of cling film in my lettuce. My wife ordered 2 dips with her meal and they brought the wrong ones. Waiting for drinks and someone to order sweets for the grandchildren and the bill was endless. Left no tip!
