Very cool being right next to Pride Park Football Stadium, nice view out of the window there. Cafe bar on ground floor was excellent, Great pizzas, chips and onion rings there. A/C in the room which meant it was comfortable. Slept ok. Couldn't give 5* as car park was very dark due to broken lamps and no plug sockets near the bed.

Stayed here for one night on route to an event. Spotlessly clean and can't fault the service of the team, polite and helpful.

Room was very spacious and clean, front of house staff were really helpful and friendly. Can get a little noisy in the room because of the room above but nothing majorly disruptive.

It was in 1979 as a 18yr old I and the youth of the day use to call into this wonderful propper café. The days of Anti pasti the punk band of derby who use to hang out on old derby Market place along with all the other people who use to call and eat or just drink the really good coffee and tea that use to be served here . I became homeless at around 20 yrs of age and every Thursday for reasons I'm still not sure of I use to always call into the Acropolis for either breakfast or a really hearty afternoon meal . It is such a shame to hear that the place has closed down. Another sad blow to derby I am sad to say . I can honestly say that the my memories of the place and the staff who worked there is one of gratefulness. The place literally kept me alive at a very dark period of my life . The food was brilliant and plentiful. Not sure if anyone who owned the place back then or who worked there back in the late 70s will read this but the Acropolis cafe saved my life . Sounds a bit odd I know but trust me to be able to have a lovely hot meal at affordable prices and a hot drink saved my life . Thank you all at Acropolis. That café has always always and will always hold a special place in my Heart 💙 . Such a loss . Thank you Barry . Xx

Situated on one of the main roads into Derby if you blink you will miss it. More of a takeaway cafe but there is very limited seating inside and a bench outside with parking at the rear. This little cafe stocks Project D doughnuts but get there early as they seem to sell out quickly.
