We ordered a beef Sunday dinner and cheesecake. All absolutely lovely. Sam, our server, was a refreshing delight. Gave great options and suggested the sticky toffee cheesecake. Great choice!

Big thanks to Megan for sorting my money out for me that was suppose to be sorted on Thursday night, £60 is a lot of money for some people. I was told on Saturday that it had been logged which that wasn’t the case so I asked the manger on shift today to do it for me which was Megan! Thanks for always going above and beyond for every one of the customers that come in the pub.

Not from Hartlepool but stopped by as I like Flaming Grill. Food was absolutely lovely. Hot, delicious, came quickly. Staff very friendly and polite. Very happy

We called for drinks only and enjoyed what we had. This pub looks as if it is geared for the fasst meal market. We found it it a bit depressing inside and there were nearly enough machines with their flashing lights to fill a seaside arcade. What a shame.

Everything from the food to the employees were top notch. The new menu is amazing. Personally had the 7 hour Rib twice in 3 days, it was that good. The employees are super friendly and know how to have a laugh plus the building it’s self it’s lovely.

Great service from Megan who got us our drinks quickly and ensured the order was correct , lovely food and drinks with reasonable prices

Strange experience but staff response was great, ordered 6 meals 5 okay 6th one had some parts of the meal cold as in stake and gammon other parts red hot, food changed no problem, staffing appeared low and wait time was long but generally warm friendly staff made up for the error.

Was there for my . Birthday meal and it was cooked to perfection kaitllyn you out done yourself again your cooking is 1st class as always staff are very friendly and a good atmosphere looking forward to my next visit see you all soon

January 26th We had gone in for a meal we were on table 8 my partner had a steak he had it cooked blue and the chef was katlyn and she cooked It to perfection and I had a gammon and that was gorgeous we will be and also the staff are very friendly

Sticky tabled, two lots of music playing at the same time, generally strange place. Ordered meal and when arrived they informed they had no garlic bread; nothing offered in replacement. Strange as we had payed for a meal with garlic bread and it seems reasonable to get what you pay for.

Had a fabulous festive meal on 19 December. It was so good we went again tonight, it was just as good. Thanks to all the staff.

Honestly- love breakfast with Santa. Makes my day. This is our 3rd year and never been disappointed. Staff are welcoming and always on hand to make the breakfast that extra special. Santa is the best- goes the extra mile and actually takes his time with the children. Breakfast is good and service was great. Thanks and have a fab Xmas .

Made a booking for two via the pub website & arrived on time. We were shown to our table, browsed the menu & went to the bar to order. All going fine so far. After waiting at the bar for about 10 mins a staff member noticed that I had a menu in my hand & said rather bluntly “the kitchen’s closed”. I explained that they’d accepted my booking and actually shown us to our seats. The staff member asked if I’d booked in the morning and when I explained that it had been in the afternoon when I’d booked she replied “Well that’s it then. I don’t have any kitchen staff”. I absolutely get that unforeseen staffing issues happen and my low rating isn’t for that. It was the blunt manner in which the staff member (whom I think may well have been a manager) delivered the message to us with no apology and zero empathy. Shocking service.

Great for tea some great offers and always happy to help. Cailum makes the travellers rest with his great service ! Well done to the team in there but massive thanks to this man for his work I’ll be back again because how well the service was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As a regular to this pub we have previously has no complaints and have enjoyed the food and service from the staff who have always been friendly. However tonight we arranged to meet up with friends as Kareoke was advertised and we were expecting a fun night out. When we arrived there had been a private function on in another room for parents and children. That function must have finished and they all went into to the main area where the karaoke was taking place. I understand it is the pubs policy that children should be off the premises by 9 pm But this was not the case as they did not leave till 10.15. Hardly anyone could get on the karaoke as the children took over and were running around all over the place. Hardly any seats available and when we did manage to get a table it was wet, full of empty glasses and rubbish. the floor was soaking with spilt drinks. We eventually settled down to enjoy the night when the kids left only to be informed by the DJ that the karaoke had to finish at 10.40 for the boxing. We were all very annoyed as no one in the room Wanted to watch the boxing and if they did they could have gone in the bar. Why advertise Karaoke and people make the effort to go out when in actual fact from the kids leaving it was only on for 40 mins. The Managers attitude was leave if your not happy

It was the first to this pub, and we weren’t disappointed. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The drinks and food prices are very reasonable. We had the steak sizzler and a steak flatbed. The steak was cooked perfectly as ordered, and very tasty. We really enjoyed the food, and would definitely visit again.

Really good value food and for the price no complaints whatsoever. Had two steaks both cooked well and a burger which was also tasty. Deserts were excellent.

The lady who served us was friendly and attentive, however the food was cold. Bacon on the burger was overcooked, pulled pork was sooooo salty. Chips were crispy but very greasy, onion rings were bland and tasteless. Doughnuts had zero filling and tasted slightly stale...
