Very good, pet friendly, very good food and all the staff are very friendly

Food was really good, beer wasn't the best but may have just been end of or start of a barrel? Been before and the beers been good.

Fantastic food, Amazing choices, especially in the Vegetarian Section/ Light Meals/ Meals for those with smaller appetites. All ingredients sourced locally and ethically so you know what you are eating is wholesome, and to be honest, you can taste the difference. Staff are attentive and very helpful. Everything is cooked fresh to order. There is plenty of room inside with tables and chairs arranged in such a way that you can get around without any issue. Cushions and fresh flowers add to the lovely warm atmosphere. There is a disabled toilet although I didn't use it to see how much room there was. There is a large seating area outside and at a guess that might have a level entry into the building for disabled access. I accessed the building through the main door, and that is up 3 or 4 wide steps with a rail at each side. This is a little out the way, but the effort to get here is by far outweighed by the service, the food, drink, the range and quality offered, and general ambience when entered. I felt safe here. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet drink / meal or to a party looking for somewhere to celebrate a birthday / wedding / retirement / any occasion. It gets first class rating, in my opinion.

We had my uncle's 85th birthday party here we had a lovely meal and drinks and cake after the pub is nice and clean the food is first class and it's a good price

A lovely tasty lunch - great menu and delicious food. They couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. Service was excellent. Dog friendly and nothing was too much bother.

Absolutely brilliant service! My mum has long covid, and has alot of allergies. We had the chef come out, and go through the whole menu! Fabulous food, great atmosphere, and the best bit, amazing staff! ❤️ Thank you guys

Celebrate my granddaughter sixteen birthday at the Travellers Inn. A great night, the food, atmosphere, the service was first class nothing was to much trouble.

Dropped in on many occasions when out walking and droning and making content for our YouTube channel and always a pleasant visit is had.

Fantastic place! Lovely food, the staff are very accommodating (allowing us to tweak certain items for fussy kids!) and friendly and it's good value for money. Locally sourced produce. Can personally recommend the lasagne, steak pie, ham and cheese panini, all day breakfast. And the puddings, well... beaut!

We have eaten here quite a few times. The pub is cosy and the staff friendly and helpful. On this occasion we made the wrong food choice and it was not worth the amount charged. That's the cost of living crisis I think. We aren't put off and will be back ordering something more substantial than the healthy choice menu.

Managed to squeeze us in last minute on a busy remember sunday. Very friendly team and a great value roast dinner. Big portion and really tasy.

Called off here for something to eat today, walked in and was greeted almost immediately and the lady found us a table straight away despite it being really busy, the service was superb all the way through and the food was excellent. Special thanks to the young lady that took our order and looked after us we didn't get her name but she's from Hoyland Swain she was really friendly and helpful and a credit to the pub. We will definitely be back.

A nice welcome half way along the Trans Pennine Trail for me (going East) and other cyclists (going West) at the same time. Decent ales and a sunny beer garden.

Lovely food, had two sharing platters between four of us, reasonable prices.

Great food lovely friendly staff smashing pub

Called in for lunch just after 12noon on a Monday as a pit stop whilst out walking. Service was quick and friendly, portions were ample and the homemade chips were fabulous. A great find and well worth noting as many places don’t serve until 2pm, if at all, on a Monday. Lots of interesting looking events on the calendar too.

Great country pub great choice of different things on the menu including big vegetarian choice and just all round good pub grub with very pleasant staff.

Just eaten here again and you cannot fault anything. Absolutely lovely welcoming people and the food is amazing. I had a chicken madras from the specials board and my husband had the tapas. Well worth a visit for anyone.

Menu supports all appetites with standard and smaller portions available, also vegetarian options. Cask beers too and reasonable priced. Large outdoor area and good sized car park. Highly recommended. 👌

Great home made food, very friendly owner and staffs. We're liveing in local area, and we nearly come here for food and beer once per week. They also have food nights with different themes. Very nice and recommand!

Nice looking pub, plenty of outdoor space. Was clean and presentable, good service. Didn't eat but looked at menu, seemed a bit pricey for what it was but plenty of choice and heavily Mediterranean themed

I come here occasionally and every time I do I'm always greeted by wonderful staff who are all smiles and ready to serve! The food is always top quality and NEVER fails to leave me stuffed yet wishing I can finish that last bite... Honestly if you're around oxpring and you haven't been here then you're really doing yourself a disservice!

This was the first time we have been to the travellers Inn wasn't sure what to expect. Was not disappointed food amazing, staff fantastic, kids meals were small or large depending on there ages plenty for them to choose from.Prices were very good expected to pay more great value for money will definitely be frequenting again very soon definitely deserve 5 stars xxx

Took family and friends out for sunday lunch and the Inn was amazing, dogs and kids alike all catered for, the food was delicious the the staff was very nice all in all we had a very 10/10 excellent afternoon we shall be back!!🙂
