Love bringing new people here never disappointed always great food and a lovely selection.. staff are great nothing too much trouble

Very ordinary food, powdered custard with dessert. It's not somewhere I would return to in a hurry. The pub is not dog friendly, however when the beer garden is open in summer and they are allowed in then.

Discussing cold food. Burned yorkshire puddings to make things more unbearable, the food could only be paid for in cash so customers had to go to the local ATM to draw cash out for their so called lunch.

A lovely welcoming pub for lunch. The food was really good and homecooked. There were some lovely traditional choices on the menu like pork roast dinner and mince and onion pie. And puddings like syrup sponge and custard. To add to this was the fact that it was great value for money too. We all came away full and smiling 😃

Fabulous lunchtime meal. Our first visit and I can't really fault the pub in any way. Very friendly welcome and service, spotless interior nicely decorated for Chrismas. Excellent food with mostly home cooked traditional dishes. 2 courses for under £11 with an extra £4.50 for a pudding, is amazing value for money. Just a shame there is nothing like it near home. We now just need to find an excuse to call again.

The most lovely pub you could ever wish to visit. Jane and Steve behind the bar are amazing hosts. The pub is spotlessly clean and tidy with a brilliant food menu and beautiful and peaceful beer garden surrounded by greenery and a real sun trap. Their attention to detail is second to none. The nicest pub I have ever had the pleasure to visit.

We visited on a Saturday evening but they managed to squeeze us in luckily. They clearly had a shortage of staff as everyone was working at 100 mph but still had a smile on their face and were quick to help you. The menu is very small but there is something for everyone, I struggled to choose between a few things. We ordered Fajitas and a side of chips. The Fajitas came out and it was a huge plate, we struggled to eat that never mind a side of chips. The fajitas were great and the chips i think were tripple cooked as they were delicous. Would recommend a visit for food or just a drink as they have a good selection and a small beer garden out back.

We feel unbelievably lucky to call this great pub “our local”. The food, real ales and beers are always prepared and served professionally by the warm and welcoming staff. We love the family atmosphere and open fires on cold, dark winter nights but can’t wait for the summer to enjoy the beautiful beer garden. Thank you “Team Travs” please don’t change 🙏🏻

My wife and I had a traditional Sunday lunch at the Travellers today, and it was nothing less than absolutely top class. The Beef was gorgeous. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, and the Yorkshire Puddings were delicious. The gravy was the real deal and exactly what you want to finish off such a great meal. The beer and the wine were excellent and were priced right. May I also say a big thank you to the lovely staff for their friendly and professional service. Will we be back, of course we will.

On 9Th August I booked for Sunday Lunch on 14th August as a special birthday treat for a friend. When we got there the place was closed with a note on the door saying sorry for any inconvenience. They could have phoned me to cancel but didn't.

I think the last person that reviewed the travellers inn as got the wrong pub! As it does not av a old tv, pool table or a dart board!!! The pub also serves food all day!!

Such a shame I won't be going back, especially when the Travellers is only up the road and I normally love Thai food.I have been probably a dozen times, but the last couple of times the food was poor. The starter I had (ribs) were literally "chilled to the bone". Served five minutes after we ordered, I suspect they were quickly heated in a microwave from frozen as the bones were chilled and the meat Luke warm.When my husband complained, the waitress went off, then came back to say they would knock 10% of the price of the ribs! I was more concerned about eating dodgy pork.Also, no matter what time you go there, it's never busy and the atmosphere is weird.
