Great Italian, we went to the cafe part, had cake & coffee(very nice)The The place was filled with Italian stock, nice to hear the language as we relaxed. Impressed to be honest, not many places are actually authentic

The food was incredible and the staff were really helpful! You can tell they are very passionate about their menu and serving a delicious meal. We had the best dinner!

Hadn't booked but they squeezed us in. Fast service but relaxed. Really nice food - not huge portions but well priced. Will definitely be returning! I wish I had taken pictures but we ate it all.

Took two friends and my wife today for lunch Service and atmosphere ok typically Italian waiters all chatting great I had lasagna which was sparse of meat And had far too much cheese on top so Much so I had to leave it The others food looked a little bland but no body complained I did not comment at the time because they were my guests but next time I will speak up if the quality is not better

Visited for a Birthday lunch, great food, great service, friendly staff, and the Happy Birthday song with a candle in the tiramisu just topped it off. Lovely.

Best Italian I've ever been and I live in London there are lots of Italian restaurants but not as good as this one

I’m still awaiting a refund from Just Eat for 2 lasagnes delivered. No pasta, no meat, just cheese sauce. I complained to restaurant and Just Eat but no refund.

We ate here Sunday 29th December for lunch at 1.30pm. It is the second time we have eaten here. Its not local either but it IS worth the travelling. Every aspect is well understood from the greeting as you walk in, to being shown your table, the table service, the food, everything! The entire experience was utterly brilliant. I have eaten in top restaurants in London and can say the service and food was better! Thank you!

Excellent meal. Family dinner for 5 at lunchtime. Value for money was excellent, especially as the Tradional Italian food was exceptional. Starters including white bait(for the locals), mozeralla balls and cheesy garlic bread hit the mark. Mains of pizza (fired like being in Roma) zesty and thin with the right amount of toppings, lasagna and risotto that had us all thinking of a cafe inItaly no less and topped off with generous portions of Tiramisu, ice cream, cheese cake and afforgato and lemon tart. Great food selection! Service was excellent and food was great. Go for an anniversary or a birthday and they will sing and music you to the hilt.

They changed the recipe,got more sauce with the spaghetti , nice tasty flavour .this company delivers will defo order again they nailed it

I always try and pop in when I'm in Bexhill. Such nice people and who doesn't like good Italian food. The deli next door is amazing with great breads and the meat and cheese selection is fantastic.

Good service, polite friendly staff, good food

A moment for the aubergine parmigiana... Wasn't in the actual restaurant, went for a private party in the room next door, which was simple and an intimate feel for good friends and food. Had to hop on here to review the parmigiana...it was *chefs kiss* and I kept thinking about it for days!

First time here was fantastic so visited again. Second time so disappointed as the roast potatoes had been re-cooked. Had profiteroles at £8.50 a time and there were just three small profiteroles on plate. Come on Trattoria that is so bad and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Food and service out of this world. Shame the outside seating are beyond repair shame as the whole Atmosphere was lost by the seating was not upto the standard of the restaurant. Unfortunately, because of the state of the Outside furniture, my wife spilt her coffee.

A restaurant with a range of tasty dishes at reasonable prices. There are vegetarian and gluten-free options. A warm, family atmosphere, with servers who do everything to make the experience pleasant with unparalleled humor and kindness. Their desserts are homemade and end the meal with delicacy. I can only recommend coming there if you are in the city!

Me and my husband have visited Trattoria lots of times and enjoy the food and coffee so it was always our go to place when visiting bexhill, but we recently went with our daughter and the waitress that served us was rude and very unprofessional, she did not listen to what we wanted she kept pushing for us to order food we didn't want and when I explained what I would like and wanted to know the options she rolled her eyes at me and stormed off. Later she returned and still tried to push us to order food we didn't want and when I asked about my request she huffed and went to walk away that's when I knew she hadn't bothered to find out. She did come back with a list of options in the end but was very sarcastic about it. The other staff are always very friendly but this particular lady has put me and my husband off coming back to Trattoria as she made us feel like an inconvenience. I wasn't rude to her at all and stayed calm the whole time, she might of been having a bad day but there is no need to take it out on the customers.

Be transported to Italy at this relaxed, all-day Italian trattoria offering classic pizza and pasta dishes, plus hearty Italian mains. Mediterranean menu, fresh fish, gluten free and healthy options, impeccable service and attention to detail. Wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon watching the world go by. Seared scallops and sea bass outstanding as was the service a real treat.

Amazing restaurant. Food was exquisite, i had the sea bass for main and king prawns to start and to say it was cooked to perfection would be an understatement. Will be going here again. 5/5 stars

I’ve had better pizzas from a kebab shop

I had the spaghetti bolognaise which was a mush of spaghetti mixed with an overbearing tomato sauce. Not a spicy beef bolognaise sauce on a bed of spaghetti that you would expect.

Excellent restaurant. Lovely food and service. I’ve been for a few family celebration meals. Yesterday we had a baby shower and hen do meal. The space we were given was perfect and didn’t disturb anyone else eating in the restaurant. It also allowed us to add our own touches.

Delivery driver was very polite and food was hot and amazing as always 😊

My pizza arrived all squished like they put it in the tumble dryer. Only reason why I gave it 2 stars is because once I managed to put it back together the taste was decent. Mushroom on pizzas go SLICES, not DICES, otherwise they won't stay on the pizza (unless they are smallish, those ones were heavy, I ate them separately, I had no choice, they won't stay on the pizza). The time of delivery was good, no wonder why my pizza arrived centrifuged... I had it, won't order again, first nd last time

Trattoria Italiana (superbo cibo italiano). In my experience the best Italian Restaurant in Sussex. From the Antipasti Mixed Olives, Bruschetta Pomodoro, Calamari Fritti con aioli, Mozzarella in Carrozza to the Gamberoni all'italiana con linguine, Capricciosa, Spaghetti allo Scoglio, Gnocchi and desserts, the consensus on the food for our party of five was "absolutely delicious!" The succulent Seafood, was par excellence, certainly THE best in Bexhill-on-Sea; chef has an excellent touch. I prefer the salad garnish a little more fresh. Portions were ample. Service was attentive but unobtrusive. Prices were reasonable.

Pizza turned up and the delivery boy was on a bike and when he handed us the pizza the corner of the box was so oily it had a hole in it and the toppings were dripping out of the hole. When we opened the pizza box it hadn’t travelled well and all the toppings had slid into the corner and where the hole had created our pizza was stone cold

Very quick and friendly service. Portions are just right. Busy, but acoustics were good so you could hear each other.

Really lovely set lunch. I had Caesar Salad to start and salmon in cheese sauce with roast potatoes, spinach and carrots for £13.95 and added the option of homemade tiramisu £4.95. Coffee is excellent too. Another diner recommended their house white wine but as I was driving I didn’t try it. Friendly, family run restaurant. Date of visit 29.04.24. Thought I had better add the date as with inflation being high who knows how long they can hold those prices.

Lovely family run restaurant. Your always greeted at the door with a friendly smile and they help hold the door opened for you. Such a fabulous and lively place to sit enjoy amazing quality italian food with your loved one, children, birthdays, staff party or even hen/stag dos. Well any occasion in my eyes! Food was delicious and piping hot. Didn't take to long from when ordered either. Happy to adapt any dish to accommodate for dietary needs. Always best to notify them when booking a table. Highly recommended!

We didn’t enjoy not authentic and tasted like a cheap freezer pizza - toppings were not fresh tasting and they moved the delivery time twice - presumably so it was delivered on time - real shame

Firstly I would like to say I am not the one to usually complain as I also work in hospitality but I understand the standards that should be met and there was no way I couldn’t inform people about this appalling experience we received! We first visited this restaurant back on New Year's Day which left us utterly disappointed and questioning our decision to return. Despite our anticipation for a delightful New Year's Day meal out, our experience was unprofessional from the start. Upon arrival, we were greeted with dirty glasses and cutlery- a foreboding sign of what was to come. Despite reporting this to the owner, our concerns were dismissed and blatantly ignored, leaving us feeling disrespected and undervalued as customers. Against our better judgment, we decided to give the restaurant another chance in March to celebrate my birthday with friends, hoping our initial experience was just an unfortunate anomaly. However, our optimism was quickly shattered when my partner discovered a metal staple in his main course. This unacceptable oversight not only compromised the quality and safety of the dish but also left us deeply concerned about the restaurant's hygiene standards. To add insult to injury, the response from the staff was lackluster at best. Instead of offering any meaningful apology or complimentary drink for the appalling experience, we were met with a "sorry about that” and a replacement meal. Before we even had the chance to take photos to report to environmental health, the waiter quickly took the staple off us! This token gesture did little to rectify the situation or restore our trust in the establishment. Regrettably, we have concluded that Trattoria Italiana does not prioritise customer satisfaction or basic hygiene standards. Despite the recommendations of friends, we have decided not to give this establishment another chance. Our dining experiences should be enjoyable and memorable for the right reasons, and unfortunately, this restaurant failed to meet even the most basic expectations. In conclusion, we cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant to others, and we will not be returning.

Amazing attentive service from the moment we walked in the doors until we left, the food really was amazing authentic Italian food, with good sized portions but not too large, the quality and presentation of all the dishes was amazing. We were no rushed or given a set timeframe for eating and vacating the table like so many restaurants now. This will be our new go-to Italian restaurant now.

We were attending a gig at the Pavilion and hadn't booked a table. It wasn't a problem and we were seated in a few minutes. Busy restaurant, because of the gig, but that didn't stop us receiving a friendly welcome, attentive service and superb food from an extensive menu. Portions were good and we were very full after starters and main course. I had the best liver and bacon I've ever eaten and my wife had salmon pasta, which had big chunks of salmon and a cream sauce. Again a very good portion. Prices were fair, especially bearing in mind the amount of food on our plates. Good wine and of course Peroni. I wouldn't hesitate to go again if I'm in the area and I've already recommended it to several friends.

Food was amazing. Staff were great from start to finish. We were a table of 5, and thoroughly enjoyed our meal, to the point I ordered two desserts so I could take one home 😁

Sunday 18th February 2024 I can't comment on the food here as we never got to try it, after a day in Bexhill and seeing a concert at the DE La Warr we ventured in to find some food to end the day, we were met by a man with no sense of humour that seemed to and a reluctant tone who told us after asking for a table for two and said"but we have music here tonight" I jokingly told him that that's fine I like to sing, after eventually showing us a table for four he returned as we were taking our coats off and said he was terribly sorry but the kitchen was closed which was odd as there were at least thirty people sitting down eating drinking and enjoying themselves. sensing this was his way of telling us to take a hike we put our coats back on and decided to go elsewhere, as we were doing this another person who seemed above him came over and asked what he was doing saying these people are customers causing him to change his tone and plead with us to come back and that we can have a table after all but we left and went to the co op and picked up a sandwich which was not what we had planned. I'm sure the food would have been lovely (we will never know) but they really need to sack the guy on the door, such a rude individual, we will not be returning.

Very quick delivery but food was poor - pizza tasted stale with Parma ham simply thrown on top and not cooked with the rest of the pizza - mozzarella Corrozza was very watery and going cold - won’t be ordering form them again as not good value for the quality of food.

The cake wasn’t a cake at all, was like a liquid.

Best Italian restaurant around, the cheesy garlic bread is insane. 10/10 recommend!!

We have enjoyed this fabulous restaurant as a family for years. We drive an hour plus each way to enjoy their food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommended

Unfortunately, this was probably the worst carbonara I've ever had. It was so oily, it was almost inedible. The pizza's were okay but must have been tipped by the delivery people as a lot of the topping was in the box. Not impressed by this usually excellent restaurant.
