most people complaining on here about staff are for tragos cafe called the tower house and not the tiny cafe at the bottom. please dont take notice as people get confused. pinocchio is nothing to do with trago . you will find they are well established compaired to the trago cafe called tower house. plush pinocchio doesnt have an upstairs and no staff are rude. i eat here often and there has never been rudeness or any horrible food. people are ruining this cafe reputation!!! I am friends with most staff in here and I'm a hard person to sometimes get on with plus to talk with. I never have a problem with anyone here. Remember this is the little cafe, baggy bar and little cafe half way up not the big cafe owned by trago. Just look at the food and at great prices. All fresh .

Decent food. Lots of it. Decent prices. With the recent inflation of everything, they not skimped on the portion sizes. Made to order and banter with the staff!!!

I am somewhat a foodie. I have eaten here regular. The sizes are amazing for the price. They put their prices up but its still good value. 6.99 for a massive chips bacon sausage and beans. U pay more for a child's at a posh restraunt. Staff are friendly and love bants. Always garenteed a laugh. Get urself here

We came here for a coffee. The coffee was filter coffee, reasonable quality and price. At a table near us was an older lady, with her fat, 30-something son. They complained about not getting chips with his special pizza baguette, and scraped all of what looked like a nice salad onto the tray. The waitress (another older lady with chin length straight brown hair and a baseball cap on) explained very nicely that the special pizza baguette didn't come with chips. Both old customer and fat son then interrupted her and told her they knew the boss and it was unacceptable. After a load of argey bargey, the Mum stood up and said "Well, we haven't touched this we want a refund" they ended up leaving with a refund and while fat son waited outside for his Mummy to get a refund, the waitress talked to them about how unacceptable it was that whoever was in charge today wouldn't give him some free chips. Message to the owner. 1) Don't give your mates free food, or special treatment. It pisses your staff off, and annoys other customers who have to listen to your self important buddies moaning. 2) Train your staff to not undermine each other by siding with a twatty customer. 3) Give whoever was in charge today a bonus. 4) Find some new friends who aren't lazy fat sods, living with their Mum, sponging special treatment off you. Whatever business you get from them, it isn't worth it in negative customer experiences, or staff morale.

After visiting Trago Mills we popped in here for some mid morning food. A Full english plus bacon and sausage sandwich were ordered. The food didn't take long to arrive. It was nicely presented and delicious. I realise it wasn't the healthy option but just occasionally we do indulge. Good prices too.

You can not visit Trago with out stopping at Warrens Bakery, they have the most fantastic Cornish pasties, I also buy one to eat with a cup of tea and also to bring home. If you like these pasties, buy more and take home, they reheat very well and also they can be frozen.

Stopped to have a cup of tea, sat outside watching all the Birds, including the Peacock who was displaying his feathers. Great place to people watch as well.

A visit to Trago isn't a visit without having something to eat from this place. We have eaten here several times and not been disappointed with the quality of food nor the friendliness of the staff who are always ready to help and offer advice.

Visit the restaurant probably every other week throughout the year. Always good value, no frills, restaurant staff are mostly pretty welcoming and happy to help. Daily roasts are great, chilli and currys are pretty good, breakfast filling and not bad. Shame the coffee is machine made, but the teas are fine. Don't bother with the cafe upstairs though, coffee is atrocious and service is really slow, staff seemed confused and not organised. As cream tea buffs, Trago is not on our fav list at all. The scones are dry, flat and salty, the cream and jam is pre-packaged (an absolute hate when ordering a cream tea).

We arrived just after 1130, most patrons were ordering breakfast, but the main lunch meals were available my wife and I enjoyed the Vegetable Lasagne, our son enjoyed the Hunters Chicken and the daughter in law enjoyed the Roast Pork Dinner. The Grandson was not very happy with the children's meal which was not particularly fresh. The cost of the meals was very reasonable.

We popped in for tea and scones around 3 pm. We asked an assistant if the scones were fresh and we were told they had come in that day. We chose the fresh scones as opposed to the cream tea set in the refrigerator. The scones were very crumbly and 'pappy'- very disappointed. You put your own hot water in a teapot and collect the teabag at the till. No problem. There was still some hot food available at 3 pm.

Stopped in looking for breakfast in Trago. Don't bother with their own restaurants, they were deserted, this one wasn't! Lovely ultimate breakfast, well cooked hot food, even the beans were hot - which for some who do brekkie fail to get right!! Perfect coffee included in the price!! Would recommend in a heart beat!

I drive out of my way to have the all-day breakfast at this little cafe in the grounds of Trago. Even having fried bread and the works it does not feel too greasy, although of course it is calorific! Lots of nice choices and so reasonable. Would really recommend to families in particular. Does take-away pies, ice creams etc. Staff very friendly and work so hard!

Seated in a cold caravan like building, on garden chairs. The radio was blaring so couldn’t hear ourselves think. As part of the extended seating, food is delivered via the front door. Food was average, typical greasy spoon. Given a complimentary biscuit with my coffee. Date was September LAST year. When queried, the staff member (who barely looked 12) just said without a moment hesitation ‘no, that’s best before, not use by’ Having checked, he is infact correct. However, if this is the attitude on one product, surely this speaks volumes for the quality of the rest of our order. Yes it isn’t use by, but it does suggest they are happy to serve sub-standard products. Shan’t be returning, nor recommending. Also a request for a health inspector visit has been logged. Cheers.

Hope they are better at cleaning the kitchen than they are at cleaning their loos!! We went on a quiet day so no excuse that they'd been rushed off their feet. No excuse for dirt.

Quite possibly the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. The sausages tasted like they were cooked Christmas Day and had been kept warm ever since, the toast was like a slice of slate and the restaurant had run out of ketchup?????

We often visit here for food when we come to trago. There's always something hot or cold on offer. A good selection at a very reasonable price. Staff are very helpful.

We visited Trago mills again on our ” yearly” Christmas visit and knowing it would be a busy day we started with a good breakfast in the Pinocchio cafe. As always a warm welcome in a cosy cafe. Bacon sandwiches hot as was the tea. Worth a visit. Try it !

Not bad food overall and for the price well you certainly can’t argue. £2.29 for a kids hot meal with decent portions and a drink. Kids loved it! The all day brunch was a good option for the adults, not gourmet but decent food in a nice clean setting.

Popped into Trago Mills for some Christmas Decorations etc and decided to stop for lunch in this little place, having walked past on SO many previous occasions. Really glad we did.

Although cheap, the food certainly doesn't stay hot for long. By the time we've paid and sat down, our dinner felt luke warm.

Went to the restaurant upstairs today, food lovely when it eventually arrived.

My daughter wanted 1 baked potato, I was told yep not a problem, then to be told, so sorry, we dont have anything left. It takes 6 minutes to make a baked potatoes in a microwave, and then put some cheese on?

The restaurant itself is a counter service restaurant, however can order a few things to table.

Visited this week on a trip to Trago. Had a couple of hit drinks there on arrival. The drinks were cheap but the cups are small. Had to pick through a few cups to find clean ones.

My colleagues and I stopped here for a refreshing cup of tea after collecting for CRUK outside the entrance to Trago Mills. We didn't ask but the tea was given to us free. How lovely was that. Plus a great cup of tea too. Well done Pinocchios and thank you - we needed that after stood for hours in not very nice weather.

Food awfully asked for a veggie pastie ,got a cheese and onion..no beans she slopped them on...by the time I got to the pay point 1 person ahead of me...the service counter lad was chatting away without a care of others an there hot food..lots of dirty tables..not a nice experience here at all..would not return..

Popped in today after a mammoth shopping trip to trago and wow. Food was really nice and the staff where very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back. Thank you

Visited on 16/8 after a fun filled morning around trago the kids need refuelling so for convenience, we stopped here. Greated warmly by staff, fast service, amazing value, delicous food and staff were super busy keeping it clean. Was very impressed and will make it our stop off in the future.

No visit to Trago Mills would be complete without visiting Pinocchios. The staff are very pleasant and extremely helpful. The food is always piping hot and very tasty. Our last visit was for an early breakfast on a Sunday. The young staff opening up didn't let us down and the breakfast set us up for the day. Highly recommended.

Llevé a mi padre anciano en el día de hoy y esperamos que nuestra primera visita a la cafetería/restaurante arriba, muy decepcionado con el servicio que nos dieron. No sólo puesto en cola con paciencia, pero cuando llegamos al final de la barra había complicado señales diciendo cola aquí para el desayuno o el almuerzo, etc. . así que nos fuimos pasado el caballero delante de nosotros que se servía el desayuno y esperamos sólo que es totalmente ignorado y el personal transportado en servir a otras personas detrás de nosotros. Me señaló el confuso señales y me dijeron "bueno, no importa" -- bien, bien no! maldita Que pena por su personal por su pésima actitud. No sólo eso nos sentamos y esperamos de nuevo bastante paciencia después de pagar sólo a haber sido 'daba 'así que tuvimos que esperar incluso más tiempo para nuestra comida. Sospecho que estaban mirando porque se atrevió a quejarse. Consentido nuestro día fuera totalmente, si su personal es tan descontenta con su trabajo, entonces tal vez deberían pensar en un cambio de carrera! La única fue la señora mi padre preguntó sobre donde nuestra orden había conseguido. Que nunca volveremos y no le recomiendo a nadie que, aunque estoy seguro de que probablemente no hace ninguna diferencia a este gran lugar.

Visitamos el café de arriba, estaba limpia y aunque el menú no era enorme, tenía sandwiches, chaquetas, painis, baguettes y una selección de pasteles, todo a un precio razonable. Cuando llegó la comida fue buena y hasta este punto el servicio estaba bien. Después de que habíamos terminado nuestros sándwiches que queríamos pedir algunas tortas y helados, sin embargo, todo el personal era pululando alrededor ignorando nosotros, después de 10 minutos que una pila de los platos hasta hacen evidente que se habían terminado. Nos mosqueado cuando tres de los cuatro miembros del personal procedió a una reunión en el otro lado del restaurante. Después de unos minutos más mi hijo de 8 años fuimos a ellos y pedí helado en que punto de la camarera volvió y pedimos 2 banana se divide, la chica, que se supone que es lo que hace que estas tardaron más de media hora! En el medio de cortar la plátanos ella nos fuimos a hablar con otra mesa que acababa de venir, fuimos a charlar con otro miembro del personal y en un punto era simplemente mirando por la ventana, fue un auténtico desastre y de no haber sido que para los niños nos hubiera justo a la izquierda. Hay un montón de pequeñas cafeterías y panaderías alrededor y recomendaría a este café.

Always consistently excellent food and service. Great value for money. A must visit if visiting Trago

A very varied menu is offered at sensible prices. There is lots of tables to choose from both indoors and outdoors. It is self service.

We had a great breakfast at a fair price for all well done to all the staff see you soon .Very clean and tidy with great garden views shame about the noisy peacocks but beautiful creatures to see recomend it

Fuimos a la zona de la primera planta de té y un patio exterior. Nos recibió una chica amable que nos enseñó un 6 Mesa y limpiado antes de que nos acomodó.

He visitado aquí innumerables veces a lo largo de los años, no puedo criticar la comida, el servicio y el personal. Cuando abrió su propio restaurante barca y té pensé estas pequeñas tiendas independientes sufren, pero intervino la marcha y es, de lejos, la mejor de la zona. Bien hecho a Dean y el equipo para una excelente comida y servicio.

Popped in for a late lunch. Fortunately there was still some roast left. The food was tasty and fairly well presented. The surroundings were clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful. Yes I will be back.

Day out with my partner and daughter we stopped in the restaurant for something to eat lots of choice on the menu very surprised at the reasonable prices good quality food would highly recommend kids meals plus plenty of highchairs when with young ones 10/10

Modern looking. Seems clean enough and fairly busy. Service OK. Outside tables too although smokers there. Coffee OK. Easy access to garden centre but a nightmare to get out afterwards - long trek trough the store.

what an amazing place, it gets very busy at times and waiting times can be as long as 45 minutes,but the staff keep you informed, food was well worth waiting for and although they can't microwave baby food they did heat it up with a pot of boiling water, all four of us ate for under £20.00 including hot drinks, would recomend as a eating out desination

We went to tragopan mills and looked around the shops this found a little cafe and had breakfast nice fresh food friendly staff very nice food and a cup of tea with it and the tea was lovely

Visited when at Trago Mills . The coffee was great and reasonably priced. The meals looked good but we were not hungry, having had a large breakfast at our hotel. Staff very helpful.

Vine aquí con mi marido y nuestro hijo junto con mi amigo y su hija de 4 años y el bebé. Había muchas mesas disponibles y el restaurante parecía estar limpia y ordenada con bandejas despejado y mesas limpiado rápidamente. El restaurante opera actualmente más como una cantina donde coger y bandeja y cola en zonas diferentes para obtener su comida y bebidas antes de pagar en una factura. Este sistema estaría bien si no había nadie para conseguir comida al mismo tiempo que usted. Cuando fuimos allí eran bastante pocas personas colas demasiado, así que mi marido tomó media hora llegar una patata chaqueta con frijoles para mí y un sándwich para él y pizza y patatas fritas para nuestro hijo. Por el tiempo que él había pagado y me trajeron la comida a nuestra mesa estaba frío de piedra. El único punto positivo es el precio de la comida es bastante barato, pero incluso eso no es un consuelo cuando la comida está fría por el tiempo que hace. Mi consejo es que comprar comida, que ya es fría! Decepcionantes.

This restaurant is great value for money. The food is extremely well prepared at very affordable prices. Service is quick and tables cleared promptly. The whole area is kept very clean. I would strongly recommend it to anyone.

Compras en barca mientras mills, decidí probar su restaurante estilo cafetería para el almuerzo. No vamos allí. En primer lugar, uno de los cocineros estaba gritando en el personal. El miembro del personal pidieron un plato de comida individual y -gritó que tendría que conseguir una salida del congelador y descongelar en el microondas supongo. El cliente pidió el servidor cuánto sería tan el servidor pedimos al cocinar y dijo... pues había 6 hace unos minutos allí, así que si nadie me dice que he ido después partimos para descongelar una así conseguimos que se tome el tiempo que sea necesario. Si hubiera sido yo el que me quedara tienen salimos. Cuando me decidí a comprar una patata chaqueta, después de haber visto el asado los domingos y decidir que no lucir bien fui al servidor disfrute de las patatas de la chaqueta. Pedí una con jamón y col, ella nunca sonreían o preguntó qué quería, la comida era puesto en un plato y entregados a mí, me dijo gracias, y la mujer me ignoraron. Sirve totalmente Me echaban una copa al lado de pepsi y en la cajas me sirvió un chico que llamó los artículos que tenía en mi bandeja y quedó allí. Tuve que comprobar la pantalla, ya que no a decirme lo que vino a incluso cuando le pregunté cuánto llegó a. Las mesas estaban desordenados y algunos no aclaró aunque no estaba ocupado cuando me fui. La capacitación del personal y el personal deja moral mucho que desear. Si estos son tus barca personal darles algo mejor capacitación en cómo tratar a los clientes con la esperanza de que volveremos. No regresaré incluso si la comida era gratis. Every Thursday we go out hunting for small cafes,diners,tea rooms and this week we visited Pinochios cafe.Not the first visit here so we know the quality.Today was steak pasties and prawn sandwich with chocolate drink.We are pasty tasting experts and my 96 year old Mum explains how a pasty should be made.These have a nice firm pastry with the required swede that makes it a Cornish pasty.Not too much pepper and was a great pasty.Not the very best as that honour goes to a cafe in Lynton.

Went for a family meal after looking round the shop (which as always was brilliant) however day ended like a lead balloon by having a meal at tragos restaurant. Paid £25 for the five of us only to receive: fish which seemed to have been sat for days, batter rubbery and like a brick, chips cold and unappealing, food generally dull and tasteless and that goes to match the attitudes of staff who seemed more interested in having a chat with one another than serving. Will be heading to another cafe on site next time, thoroughly dampened a sunny day out.

we normally go here of a weekend but today we went and the food wasn't up for scrash , the burgers where really tough to hard to eat. the price have gone up but the food gone down

Our family decided to eat at the Trago Mills restaurant in Newton Abbot yesterday whilst spending a considerable amount of money in the Trago shop we thought eating out was the answer with so many other things going on. It was not a good choice. On this particular visit we discovered dirty cutlery that I personally had to wipe with a wet wipe, both my wife & I chose the ever popular all day breakfast, which was appalling, the eggs had egg shell mixed in, the toast was burnt, whilst the assistant plonked the butter in its wrappers on top of the 1st slice of toast, the baked beans were watery, hash browns very greasy, the bacon had a tremendous amount of fatty rhine, the juices from the tinned plum tomatoes took over the meal. There was no orange juice available at the self serve drinks bar, overall we have been put off returning to this restaurant.

Hace poco visitamos el complejo de barca mills en Newton Abbot y después de curiosear alrededor de este enorme centro decidimos que necesitábamos un buen descanso y un refrigerio, así que nos fuimos a su restaurante y pedimos algo de comida y bebidas, y luego tomó estas y me senté en una de las muchas mesas. El personal era muy amable y la comida era muy deliciosa y todo a un precio muy razonable.

Quite chaotic queuing, especially if you are a family that want meals from the 3 separate queues. Had to queue for over half an hour. Not well staffed. The food was very cheap, but not very enjoyable. Not worth the wait

we stopped to do some shopping we parked by the animal park decided to have some lunch in the restaurant above the garden centre. I am so glad we did the food was brill I had a cheese toasty nothing special l you might say but believe me it was lovely t it was packed with ham and cheese very tasty there was 12 of us and 2 children it was all good we has scones with cream yum yum the lady who was the manager(red top) and her staff very very helpful A+

Se reunió con familiares aquí como su mitad camino entre nuestras dos casas. Tenía un gran desayuno durante todo el día, incluyendo bebida y cuesta menos de £5. Parte de la cafetería es de autoservicio y el descanso es muy parecido a una cafetería, muchas mesas y sillas fijas, pero todo está limpio y es luminoso y espacioso.

Decidimos entrar hoy aquí con nuestros hijos ya que ha sido hace unos años desde nuestra última visita y había sido impresionados antes.

Buena comida excelentes precios. Una habitación limpia y bien cuidado restaurante estilo cafetería. variedad suficiente para que estés contento de una comida completa a un café.

Good hearty meals on offer, including daily roast, fish and chips, lasagne among many others. Very reasonable prices and good portions, coffee was 99p.......excellent!

This is fantastic value and a special deal for an OAP meal which is the same size as the full price.It is under £5.The staff will carry the meal to your table if you have walking problems.They just offer at the counter and no need to ask for help.A very nice dinner in a wide open space for a modest price.

The restaurant is tidy, clean and spacious. The best part of the trago mills complex. The actual shopping area is marred by the rude and poor behaviour of the visiting public. Out of control children do NOT help the shopping experience.

Enjoyed lunch here, after a morning shopping, nice surroundings,friendly staff, liked the menu. I could get the drinks while partner got the hot food, so both still hot when we paid.

Visitaremos la tetería bastante regularmente y han sido testigo este lugar cambios tanto sobre los pocos años es en realidad existía. Aunque cada visita parece ser cuesta abajo. La última vez que fuimos testigos camareras limpieza fuera de las ventanas. ¿Qué?! alquilar una limpiadora de la ventana para sake de Dios deberían estar dentro que sirven a los clientes. Sólo espero que lavarse las manos antes de servir comida. Nos dimos cuenta que había un nuevo supervisor que parece que no tienen ni idea única en cuanto a lo que está haciendo. Esto se muestra en la calidad del servicio. La comida sale mucho antes bebidas, de hecho, hay siempre espera en bebidas. Normalmente o que megan o scott ambos son bastante desagradable, no sólo para nosotros, pero otros miembros del personal. Aunque el resto de los miembros del personal que han traído bebidas y comida tienen parecía amable teniendo en cuenta sus 'modelos de papel'. Probablemente no volveremos de nuevo lo que es una pena porque me encanta este lugar. Es ahora no demasiado lejos. También no entiendo por qué no aplicar sus normas? Dicen que sólo puedes comer cosas en los locales que son comprados allí, pero yo he sido testigo personas trae patatas fritas, etc de la empelado por lo abajo y comer fuera?

Fuimos el domingo con algunos amigos, nunca había estado en el restaurante antes. Nos subimos y era preciosa. Un agradable ambiente relajado con servicio de mesa. La única cosa que me di cuenta es que todo el personal era un poco y madera suave. Trabajando en un concurrido restaurante Josef ofrecen yo sé lo importante que es para representar la imagen correcta y enagage personas, así que se siente parte del servicio.

Went for breakfat on route to a one night camping trip, although visited Trago alot have never used the restaurant but always had take away on the main strip, well what a pleasant surprise I had breakfast -2 sasuages 2 eggs bacon beans tomatoes and chips, my husband had the roat dinner our friends chose a roast and a cheese jacket potatoe, we all had coffee, food hot served by polite friendly staff, plenty of tables to choose from and plenty of elbow room,you get your mel and then pay a little further away from the serving area which save a queue, we all enjoyed our meal and it was about £11. We decided to return on the way home for a roast as it was so good. We had roast pork apple sauce,crackling,potaoes carrots,peas and gravy ad again coffee £12, it was much busier but again the staff were friendly polite and the manager was also stocking up the serviettes etc and keeping an eye on everything, tables were cleaed quickly -a pleasure to eat there and we have been to several restaurants who could do with going here and seeing how its done! Will definately return and recomend, well done to you all !

Food tasty and good portions, lovely tea and all the staff helpful. The views over the grounds are peaceful .Unfortunately they no longer provide the free WF FI which used to be a bonus.

Always pop in for lunch when shopping in Trago Mills and have never had a bad lunch or service. I tend to go for the salads which are very fresh and filling, especially the Tuna Mayonaisse salad, The surroundings are quieter than the restaurant below which serves more substantial food. I would recommend the Towers for lite bites

We popped in for a snack whilst shopping and were disappointed, not a very good menu and very poor quality food. Will not be using again.

Usually visit this restaurant when at Trago. Very happy with the standard of food and surroundings which were the most enjoyable part of any shopping trip.

Tuvimos un fin de semana, así que tener el desayuno. Decidimos que sería agradable tener un paseo por Trago mills Mills y cuando llegamos aquí decidió que el desayuno estaría bien. Teníamos el desayuno durante todo el día, lo cual es un muy buen tamaño y un muy buen precio, 2 desayunos con todo lo que se puede necesitar para comer, tostadas, té, todo por menos de 10 libras.

Estuvimos allí con dos niños pequeños y decidieron el almuerzo era necesario, así que no hay mucha variedad en el lugar. Parece que lo que es, una cafetería en una tienda minorista grande, que no es exactamente la altura de bebidas espirituosas examinaba pero nos dieron algo de esperanza. Toda la comida es fresco, así que hay varios platos del día, un asado, un pastel, una pasta y pescado, y desayuno durante todo el día, menú infantil y las típicas hamburguesas y patatas fritas. Todo está recién preparado en la cocina de planta abierta y aunque esto tiende a lento el servicio por la comida es que todo ha ido a mejor. Nuestro grupo había varios platos y que estaban muy bien, incluyendo un rollo de sub de ensalada de jamón, que tenía una buena cantidad de cortados a mano sabroso jamón, nada como las rodajas transformados que normalmente te encuentras. La es no iba a ganar premios de gastronomía pero es buena comida simples, fresco a precios fondo de roca, no se puede pedir más.

Went to the restaurant today with my wife and kids and was extremely happy with the value of the food and friendly approach from the staff. Would definitely go back again.

Tuvimos una mañana en Trago mills recientemente y se llama para un desayuno antes de comprarla. Excelente relación calidad-precio y un montón de bacon, salchichas, huevos, tostadas y - todos muy bien presentada y buen provecho!

Trago mills es conocida por ser barato y alegre, y lo mismo tiene que ser dicho sobre el restaurante. Los precios son muy baratos, pero no la mejor comida de calidad y del medio ambiente. Ideal para un aperitivo, pero no puedo comentar en las comidas, ya que no tenía una comida principal aquí.

The food served here was of an amazing quality and the portion sizes very generous making it fantastic value for money. The service was quick but personal, they were happy to meet our needs and very friendly towards us.Thanks for a great experience will certainly visit again

The restaurant was extremely busy but all the staff were very friendly and in all fairness it didnt take long to get our food at the counter. We both had the roast which was great value for what we paid. The place was very clean considering how busy it was.

Went shopping here at the start of the weekend but decided to stop for breakfast on the way home on bank holiday Monday.Arrived about 10am and there were quite A few customers in the restaurant.Was served very efficentley and there were loads of tables to choose from, good price for A nice full English breakfast.And the staff all seemed very pleasant and hard working!

After a long look around Trago Mills we popped in here for a quick bite before heading off. Very nice, well priced sandwiches and drinks. The hot meals looked decent too and also well priced. Wasn't the cleanest of places but with about a million tables to clear I'm not surprised.Decent staff and got our food, paid up and ate very quickly.Will pop in again on our next visit I'm sure

Love this place for a good pasty whilst around this area. We always go upstairs as you can have a lovely meal with a fantastic view across to Hay Tor on Dartmoor. The pasties are always really full and flavoursome and they use Puro coffee as well. Don't miss out on this treat as it must be the best I have been in at a public attraction.

We had a very good lunch here , of the special - quiche, jacket potato and salad with tea. Everything was freshly done and tasted lovely. Very quick service. Good mug of tea!

Visited 13th June 2014. We found the restaurant to be clean and spacious and the staff friendly and helpful. We only wanted a snack lunch and were very satisfied with the quality and the price.Quite a bit better than McDonalds !

If you're not snobby about where you eat and like value for money - you cannot beat the all day breakfast. Have tried this and other hot lunches (lasagne and fish and chips) on various visits. You can't beat it for value and have always found the staff helpful and cheerful.

We went to Pinocchio restaurant a few times the service was always good and the ultimate breakfast is well worth the money. Trago Mills is a good place to go with kids it needs some updating but you can still grab a bargain and keep the kids happy.

We go to Trago Mills infrequently but we always have a bite to eat in its restaurant because it is such good value.Two cups of tea a pasty and a crab meat sandwich costs under a tenner.Cannot beat that anywhere else in Devon and Cornwall!

This is the ideal place for a meal when what you want is good, plain food at reasonable prices.There are daily 'specials' and good rates for OAPs,but the food isn't compromised for this in any way. A yummy chance to have a quick lunch in between shopping.A small bottle of wine for well under £3? Great stuff!

This is a low cost self service restaurant and you get what it says on the tin. Very good value, cheerful staff and tables kept clear ad clean which can be unusual in this type of venue. Not bad at all.

Service crap! They need a manager. Food took an hour. To be served took thirty minutes. Decor tired. Sticky tables. Waiting staff ready to hold out their hand for a tip but do nothing to deserve it. Once my food arrived, ploughman's, they forgot the bread which then took another 15 mins to arrive. Would we go back - NEVER! Why can't you order your food from the counter as you arrive and then the "waitresses" (I use that term loosely) bring it to you?
