Best chippy for out of the fryer chips always happy

The best, fresh, fish I have had in a long time. The other people are right about the large portions in the reviews.

The food is not always fresh. Likewise, the service is not very nice. After bringing it to their attention, of course. I do not recommend.

Very good Chip shop. Food is not too greasy, good portion sizes & competitive prices. Friendly staff & shop looks clean & tidy. It's one of a few local chip shops near to me but it's the one I usually use.

Haven't been for year or two. Period of not so good. Tonight Long queue and wait but eating now 1 chips and fish cake. Tasty. Both nice.

Couldn't believe the size of the small chips - enough for 2/3 people.

Top chippy with generous portions and a good sized menu. Also does meal deals.

Gutted they dont do a battered chip butty but maybe if more people ask for one it might become a thing

Popped in on a lunchtime - the coldest of welcomes lol. Had to wait at least 10 minutes for chips to be cooked. The sausages were so pale/unappetising. Potato scallop was very nice.

Would be happier if you insisted customers wore a face mask.three times have been here and three times customers comming in with no face masks on.the covid level is very high in this area and this is not helping !!!

Perfect chips on a weds & sundays as tgey are slightly natter coated

Had Haddock and chips last night and can honestly say it was up there with the best i've ever had, particularly the fish very crispy and not over done,plus the place is immaculate and cheap as chips(massive pile )! don't know how they do it for the money

Grew up on this chip shop. The ownership has seemed to changed a few times over the years but the quality/quantity seems to have stayed the same without massive price increases like other chip shop chains.

Lovely chips every week, the kids always look forward to chip day, they will even do gluten free fish if you ask. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Food was nice but the older gentleman who was training what seemed to be a new employee seemed to be quite impatient and rude towards the employee causing a slightly uncomfortable atmosphere.

The food is amazing from here. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is always clean and the prices are good.

Not a lot to like and a few things to dislike. A mediocre, tiny chip shop. The chips did not smell like the oil was fresh and the place did not look very clean.

Good quality fish and same goes for the chips which are BIG portions. They are my regular and are consistent.
