Best Chippie since I was a kid. Been looking for the best for 55 years. Also makes their own cucumber and onion vinegar and supplies pepper which I don’t often see. YUMMY

Used to go to another local chippy but changed to this one. Brilliant friendly staff, takes card payment and chips always cooked to perfection. Not chucked one away yet. Fish Beautiful too.

Great fish and chips in Barnsley, also I recommend the battered sausage and don’t forget the scraps or batter bits as my ex wife used to call them. Keep up the good work.

Can’t stay open for more than 3 hours without shutting. now stuck with fish cakes and chips from aldi. See what you have done. No curry sauce or owt I want to be compensated for this it’s honestly such a let down in this hoyland community

135 Churchfield LaneThis is my new favourite chip shop! My local closed temporarily and I was forced to look further afield for my bi-weekly fried fish fix. Unfortunately for my local I now chose to drive past to go to Y-Pas. I particularly like the cod special, the batter is light and crisp and the fish as I remember it as a kid. The chips are veggie friendly and gluten free too in case that is your thing.

31A Blacker RdThe service is excellent. Sadly the fish is dreadful. I had fish and chips from here a couple of weeks ago and it was tasteless, dry and had probably been stood a while. I thought it might just be a one off, but unfortunately the fish I had today was just as bad.
