Only had drinks here but as a Taylors fan I can vouch for the quality of the beer here. Dude behind the bar (who is from Otley sorry don't know your name) was friendly and chatty and replaced a 'funny' pint of Moretti for my wife without quibbling a thing. He even gave us a pint and a half of a cheaper alternative to make up the price difference. Once last orders were called (early on weekdays due to being quieter than dinnertime/weekends) we felt absolutely no pressure to sup up in a rush. Proper pub, ran properly. Thank you.

Walked in as the town hall clock and bells struck noon. And they were ready. As a massive Tim Taylor’s fan, this is the Mecca of English ale for me. Especially because it isn’t so easy to get up to Keighley without a car. Every TT beer available on cask here. Amazing. A small, cozy pub and a bit dark, but it was a dreary and rainy Monday. Quiet because the kitchen wasn’t open today and tomorrow (massive bummer). Barkeep was a young guy who seemed to be hungover but was passionate enough about the ales to nearly match my enthusiasm. Every beer was stellar, and I had a pint of every single one (well, the four I hadn’t been able to try yet). Naturally, great views of the town hall even though it was under renovation. Great experience and even better ales.

Held a retirement party here on Maundy Thursday 2024 for over 100 people. The manager Joe could not have been more helpful in the run up to the event - lovely to deal with / super helpful / really responsive to messages etc so I knew we were in good hands. On the day of the event all the staff were amazing and made sure everything ran smoothly. It was from 2.30 pm - 10.00 pm and as we were funding a free bar the staff were VERY busy ALL the time ! The buffet was great too - plenty to mop up all the booze. So many people attending commented on how fantastic the venue / staff were and want to host similar parties / casual events there now. It was EXACTLY what we wanted and I cannot praise everyone at the THT highly enough.

What has happened to the lovely THT? It felt more like a Wetherspoons than a gastro pub as it always used to be. Just full of people shouting and swearing - food looked cheap and nasty - total atmosphere change. What a shame - was always our “go to” for a guaranteed decent meal and drink in a friendly place, but it feels completely different now. Avoid unless you like an edgy, rough vibe!

THT used to be our regular after work drinks venue but it has gone completely downhill. It used to have a lovely warm welcoming feeling but now is cold and soulless. There's absolutely no atmosphere and not even any background music to take the edge off. The service wasn't great either. There were no menus to be seen so I can't comment on whether they still serve food and if so, what it's like however, I did ask for a bag of dry roasted peanuts and was told they only had one bag of salted peanuts in the pub. The beer selection is still good but when I asked what wine they had was told to just look at the shelf. Such a shame that this has happened to one of my former favourites, but I won't be returning.

I popped in for a drink. It was a Monday evening and very quiet. There were perhaps two or three other small groups in the place. You could hear yourself think. This is a traditional Yorkshire pub serving Timothy Taylor's beers. There is a good range of 5 or 6 of these: Landlord, Bolt Maker, a blonde beer a dark mild and a couple of others all on cask and although I can't vouch for all of them, the two I tried (Landlord and Bolt Maker) were very well kept. In addition there was a pump serving keg beers, at least one of which was a continental lager. The toilets were clean and there was a wide-door facility for wheelchair users. In days gone by I have eaten a very nice lunch in the place, but I didn't try food this time. I'd say this is a pub for the more mature drinker. It isn't trendy in any way and although there's music, it stays very much in the background so there's no need to shout. It's light and airy, but there are sufficient nooks and corners for those of a conspiratorial bent. In a word, nice.

The meat was still pink-they hadn't asked how we wanted it and the roast potatoes tasted strange. The veg was a little to much Al dente. To top it off it was massively overpriced. I went back yesterday with my brother to have some special time which was ruined due to the draft beer being disgusting. The barmaid when I first went did tell me there were loads of complaints about the beer and gave me a tester first time which was OK but the next time I picked a different pint to my utter dismay. Tasty Sunday Lunch… we visited the THT yesterday for lunch, the first time under new management… we were unsure if the previous Sunday roast which was very much to our taste, would have changed much… however it was more or less the same and very good! We would have liked the vegetables to have been just a little less ‘al dente’ and there was no evidence of the fresh herbs that used to be added to the roast parsnips/potatoes which all add to the taste but plenty of gravy, delicious roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. The staff were also very friendly and helpful but please note their online booking system isn’t working again yet so you have to phone to book!
