The worse burger you can imagine . Tiny over-cooked fillet steak, and revolting fries. All in al. a dreadful meal which was a complete waste of hard earned.l

We booked last minute as in Swansea area unexpectedly, it was the last room available but on arrival the room card did not work and the receptionist took pity on us and upgraded to a suite. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The gym basic but functional to getting some exercise done before breakfast. Breakfast was plentiful and the croissants particularly good.

Towers has always been one of my favourite places to eat but the service and food tonight was very poor. One of the waiters was obviously new and had received little or no training - my falafel starter was introduced as beetroot and my gammon introduced as pork chops. The gammon was tough and over cooked as were the accompanied eggs. The standards have significantly fallen and I doubt very much we will go back. We’ve never minded paying a little bit more at the towers for the service and quality of food. If tonight’s food and service is the new standard there are plenty of other places to eat with better food and cheaper !

12 friends for a birthday lunch!! So dissapointing! Slow service. Food cold..Sent the beef roast dinners back.x4 meals. Vegetables cold! Had to wait another 15minutes for replacement meals! Vegetables still not hot! Will swerve the Towers in future!

Good overall but not stellar. Pros: Plenty of parking Very friendly and helpful staff Clean, spacious room Comfortable, clean bed Smart TV with Sky box in superior room Good breakfast Cons: Very tired and a little shabby Bathroom only has rain shower, but no shower cap provided to keep hair dry Bathroom needs a heated mirror Teak and coffee making us very old fashioned. Needs a Nespresso machine to keep up with other hotel Pillows are tired and need more support This hotel appears to cater for 4 types of guest:- Those who need a room for the night Those who come for a wedding Those who come for a Spa day Those who come for a meal and entertainment This means that the hotel is always busy and potentially noisy too, so a quiet room in the Annexe is recommended. In conclusion, the hotel is ideal for a night away, but I humbly ask the hotel's owners to plan some maintenance and renovation, before what is now shabby becomes dilapidated.

What a blast!! extremely friendly staff, credit to a lovely waitress who assisted in a bid to find a cloth napkin for a bottle on ice....what a lovely patient kind soul!! I insist management acknowledge the compliment on my behalf, this is extremely important when working with customers. The food was delicious, the show excellent! We will be returning with friends for future events! The staff representing this venue deserve a pat on the back! 👏👏

Arrived at the restaurant at 6:00pm on a wet Tuesday and were shown our table. My wife and I both went for the butterfly chicken marinated in garlic and thyme and our friends both opted for the gammon steak. All four meals arrived promptly but our immediate view was how 'grey' all the meals looked and were crying out for something green on the plate. Where were the obligatory peas?? Our chicken breasts were ample in portion size but were tough, overcooked and totally lacking in garlic and thyme flavour. Our sauté potatoes were also tasteless and chewy. In 60 yrs of dining out we have never had to put so much salt on our food to try and add some flavour. Staff were friendly and efficient but seemed to concentrate their attention on the few overnight guests who were dining and we didn't feel that welcome. Won't be rushing back!

We stayed and enjoyed 4 evening meals. Choice was excellent from both the standard menu and the daily “specials”. Good sized portions and reasonable prices. Wide selection of wines, beers and sprites, all staff super helpful and engaging. Food is cooked to order, so don’t expect fast food, what is delivered is top quality prepared food.

I recently took my mum to a spa day for her 80 th birthday . We had a lovely day everyone was so kind and helpful . We used all the facilities available and loved our day , my only complaint would be the jacuzzi was too hot . Lunch was served on a wooden tray and was really nice . Our full body massages were wonderful and performed professionally and respectfully . Will definitely return thank you so much Soa ladies for a really special day . Xx

Me and my partner was booked in for a two night stay from the first bank holiday Monday in May. We had a wonderful experience at the Towers Hotel. Every staff we encountered from receptionist staff to the cleaning staff were all delightful and eager to help us throughout our stay. We stayed in the deluxe suite located on the top floor. The rooms were outstanding, clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was equipt with a rainfal shower with jets and an extra hose. This is one of the highlights of the room. The hotel had a spa with a pool, steamroom, sauna, jacuzi. We spent several hours relaxing in this area. Breakfast both mornings were delicious and the floor staff was very attentive. This is probably one of the best hotels in the Swansea/ Port Talbot area.

Second visit as we had a fab first visit, only one complaint the pool was really cold not like our last visit. Would choose afternoon/evening visit over morning/ lunchtime. Choice of treatments, I opted for the facial on both occasions, staff were really lovely.

We were treated to a meal for our birthdays. We didn't really know what to expect but had heard good things. My wife ordered the prawn cocktail, and I ordered Thai spiced crab from the specials menu to start .... Which was one of the best things I've ever tasted. Mains were lamb chops and a lamb shank, again both beautiful... And the chips to die for. Deserts were choclate syrup sponge pudding and white chocolate challenge, again both faultless.... And asking for asking cream was no bother at all We got greedy and ordered a cheeseboard, which we couldnt finish , but the amount and selection of cheese was perfect, just some chutney woukd be nice Service was friendly, and efficient and we will be returning

Went here yesterday for my dads 80th birthday. We were a very large party. Fantastic service The 3 course meal was absolutely delicious with the added bonus of piping hot plates Nothing was too much trouble for the very efficient staff and Angie the manageress was attentive to everyone’s needs and requests. Absolutely brilliant day. Thank you.

Very poor meals. The food was like something from a staff canteen. Poorly served and badly cooked. The staff dealt badly with a complaint about the food. We were obviously awkward customers. The desserts were just about ok but clearly from the back of a lorry. Never again.

Will not be staying there again for business, it was awful and the service was absolutely atrocious. I would not recommend it to anyone. Avoid.

4 of us went for Sunday lunch. The portions were large, the bowls of carrots and boiled potatoes were far too big. The four of us hardly made a dent in them. I wonder what they do with all the left overs? No apple sauce offered with the pork, no mint sauce with the lamb, no mustard or horse radish with the beef. Roast potatoes to hard, difficult to get a knife in. However, the desserts were very nice.

Me and my family rented a room in The Towers for my nan's funeral not too long ago, where they charged my grandad stupid prices for just some pasties, wraps and sausage rolls - all things I could've bought in Tesco down the road. the staff were cleaning the tables before we had even left making us all feel like we weren't welcome and had to leave soon. there wasn't one smile given to us during the whole time. the staff were watching over us and making us feel like they wanted us out. I'm not too sure what the service is like when you only book The Towers for the night, but I would not go there again for a funeral service! I am applauded.

Our party of 4 recently enjoyed lunch at the Tower Restaurant and were very pleased with the experience. Three of us went for the good sized lamb shank and one for the battered cod. All meals came with a generous portion of saute/chipped potatoes but we ordered two portions of "seasonal vegetables" to accompany. Even though the kitchen must have been aware that all 4 meals already had a generous portion of potatoes, the accompanying vegetables consisted primarily of an enormous bowl of BOILED POTATOES, a few carrots and a small dish of peas. Why more potatoes?? We didn't touch them and sadly imagined them being consigned to the bin (or tomorrow's saute potatoes??) Kitchen, please put more thought into your servings!

The spa day was one of the worse experience I have had.. Went there about 2 years ago and it was OK.. The out side and chairs we delapetated. I would say a health and safety hazard.. The food or should I say buffet.. was a discrase for the standard 4 star Hotel.the seating area was not in a good presentation state.. Sofa leather all peeling off.. Etc . We ate here twice during a brief stay in the area. The food and service in the restaurant was very good. Orders were taken and the food served pomptly. We chose mainly from the daily specials menu which was varied and good value. The fried hake, sea bass and prawn chilli and lamb shank were excellent. The staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. We stayed at the towers hotel bed and breakfast. Expecting the usual run of the mill choices for breakfast, boy were we in for a surprise. Staff were on hand to show you in and where the various foods were located. It is a breakfast connoisseurs dream come true!! There were so many choices that almost as much time was taken perusing the various items as eating them. The Welsh breakfast I enjoyed was superb. Everybody in our party was gushing with praise for the whole breakfast experience. The staff are brilliant. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, it is worth staying just for the breakfast, but we are looking forward to having an evening meal there aswell on the next visit.

We came to the Towers for a Freddie Mercury tribute and food. Well . I was warned but he must have been the worst tribute act I’ve ever seen and worse than a bad X Factor contestant. I’m sure he was mining at times and when he added his voice it was awful. Please don’t book him again Food good which made up for it. Very pricey for drinks so bring plenty of money

We chose this hotel for our two night stay in Swansea because the price was similar to other hotels - but it advertised inclusive use of the leisure facilities, and we were not disappointed! The 14 metre pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were all spotlessly clean and, at least when we were there, very underused. We were on a relaxing break, and this facility made it just that.

We were a group of 49 friends on a days outing stopping off at the Tower Hotel for Lunch we arrived in plenty of time for a pre drink and lunch at 1 pm the service was excellent the meals were perfect hot and plenty of it,

Food delicious and the steak was cooked just to my liking. Staff friendly and professional. Breakfast was just as nice with a limited choice of items on the continental counter but freshness and flavour were great. Good choice of hot breakfast items would recommend the sausages.

This is the second visit to the towers restaurant. Staff are always rude and give off the impression they don’t want to be there. I won’t be returning

Got married here 6 years ago, so the wife booked an overnight stay with meal for our anniversary. Both of us wish we hadn't. The room had someone's hair under neath the dressing table and left in the shower. The meal was absolutely shocking no flavour and very tuff which shouldn't of been the case considering we had fillet steak and lamb shank. Told them about the issues and we were told nothing wrong with it. Will never return again! Thanks for ruining our anniversary!

Corporate Meal in the function room upstairs. Food was very average and the room looked very "sad" in need of refurbishment. Expensive drinks Won't be rushing back unless I hear that its got better!

I have stayed here many times over the last few years, mainly for 1 or 2 nights each time.

Stayed here for 1 night was impressed the moment we pulled up in car park. Beautiful and well kept gardens, very clean and welcoming. Booking in was easy and the 2 ladies on reception were fantastic The room we had was beautiful and clean had everything in there, if you ran out of milk etc staff very happy to restock! Swimming pool Jacuzzi sauna and gym could not fault, the restaurant and bar superb staff very welcoming and excellent customer service and as for the food absolutely to die for well done chef what a lovely stay, will deffo be back very soon. Thank you to each and everyone of you gold stars

Food Was Very Unpleasant, my chicken starter was cold straight from the fridge.none of my family members enjoyed their food as they found the it cheap tasting and bland.

Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely the hotel and surrounding area was. Sadly this was short lived as the front of desk staff were very rude upon checking in and didn't seem to have much customer service skills! We came as big group of ladies celebrating a 40th birthday party and sadly must have been stereotyped as the attitude of certain staff members left a lot to be desired! We were constantly told to be quiet-I didn't think laughing was so frowned upon and having a good time was a crime-clearly it is in this hotel by certain staff members.

Office staff were extremely rude, and showed a complete lack of respect to a party of 60/70 year old.s.

Arrived at 1.30 taken to our table straight away our drinks order was taken then the food order was taken and within 5 minutes our soup arrived very nice .Our main meal came no waiting beef and turkey and a good selection of veg and plenty of it.We then had our dessert lemon cheesecake spot on the service was on the button within 45 minutes we were done and very nice it was well done tower hotel staff

Have eaten here so many times but something has gone very wrong. I ordered a main salad with turkey. I received a few salad leaves, 3 quarters of tomatoes, 2 pieces of cucumber and lots of peppers (which I don't like but they wouldn't know that) a large lump of coleslaw that I would expect to be on the side and a slice and a lump of turkey that Probably came from the carvery menu. The lump was inedible I think it came from the rear of the turkey!!!! I did moan about the size of the salad and was told that chef didn't know it was a main meal! So they brought another salad, the same, to make up for the size. No dressing was offered, it was completely tasteless!

Absolutely wonderful. Couldn't fault our stay at all. We were given a lovely room in the Tower itself. Our room was ready when we arrived so checked in early. We had a great afternoon watching the rugby in the bar where the drinks and food were reasonably priced and the atmosphere brilliant. The staff were very friendly and attentive. That evening we had a carvery, being a vegetarian I was expecting to just have the veg and potato but was pleasantly surprised to be served a delicious veg tart to go with my dinner. The BeeGees show was great fun,as was the disco.The breakfast was outstanding on sunday morning. Over all a fantastic weekend break we would definitely go back.

Oh dear, where to start? The private dining room that we were allocated was lit up like a daytime business meeting and the table set as such (we were a party of 27). We had been asked to preorder which was fine and the menu looked promising. I had a prawn cocktail and was expecting a bit more than half a dozen tiny prawns on a slab of pallid smoked salmon and lettuce, a huge chunk of cucumber, and a drizzle of marie-rose sauce served on a piece of slate placed on a plate (weird). Next came the “braised Welsh beef”, two huge pieces of meat so tough I couldn’t eat it, served with beautifully turned boiled potatoes (why spend all that time turning potatoes?), undercooked carrots and possibly something else that I can’t remember. Pudding was some gloop that vaguely tasted of Amaretto. The wine was okay though and as I always carry dog poo bags my hens enjoyed the remains of the food from my end of the table.

Went to the Bruno Mars tribute night last night with my friend. Very well organised evening, the room was packed and they had everyone seated before 8pm and served the carvery immediately. The tables went up when called to not cause massive queues and the food was constantly being replenished. A large amount of choice and the meats were perfectly cooked. After our mains, we were given a choice between lemon cheesecake or strawberry gateux. I choose the cheesecake which was delicious. The drinks were averagely priced. The DJ started the disco around 8:30 then Bruno Mars started his first set at 9:40. Bruno was brilliant and sounded just like the real Bruno. He had us all up dancing and having a laugh. He didn't mind all the guests coming up to him and taking selfies during his set. He finished his first set around 10:30 then the DJ carried on with dance music to keep everyone up and dancing. We left at 11:15 so didn't see the second set but it did go on until 1am. Enjoyable night and a good price at £30pp.

Spotless rooms once we found it following the poor directions given by counter staff. If they’d said follow the smell of chlorine, we’d have found it no problem!!

We often go out as a family for food and try different places on a Sunday for lunch, my sister had been to the towers a few weeks back for lunch, she said it was lovely so we decided to give it s go. We were shown to our table very quickly drinks offered to us and asked what we would like, we went for three courses, the place was very busy and waitresses were working flat out to please everyone, the starters came which were tasty we enjoyed, our main meal came which was a dinner it all tasted the same and was quite cold, we ate it as we were hungry, dessert was okay, this meal including drinks came to £80 for the four of us, I find that totally overpriced for what we had.

First time to stay at this hotel, arrived to find plenty of parking. We then received a lovely warm welcome from the two ladies on reception.

We went to this hotel to stay over night and to have a spa treatment. This was a first for us as with 6 children getting out can be difficult. It was the first time in 15 years we had stayed overnight. I contacted the hotel before our stay to enquire about entertainment and they advised of a tribute artist that was at the hotel while we were staying.There was an additional fee for this and the ticket included a 2 course carvery, it was well worth it! The service, professional manner, friendliness and humanness of any member of staff we encountered was outstanding! Each member of staff went out of their way for us and the food entertainment and spa facilities were fantastic, with excellent customer service and I can’t wait to go again! It will be this year as we were so relaxed. Excellent value for money and a stunning place to stay. Thank you

Called on the off-chance following a visit to Swansea. Staff very welcoming; nice atmosphere and an excellent Menu. The meals were well presented and in satisfying quantity! Thanks! Shall definitely call again!

Probably the worst Sunday lunch EVER! Three courses for £17. Veg soup had the consistency & taste of baby food. Followed by tasteless & over cooked veg & beef with lumpy tasteless gravy. Desert of jam sponge with lumpy custard was at least consistent with the 2 previous courses (not a compliment).

The Towers dirty dancing tribute was a massive disappointment. The place looks better and the food was great but the evening entertainment was worthy of Butlins cheese.

Was looking forward to Saturday lunch with group of friends how disappointed I was to find everything I tasted was dried up chips all burnt aswell as sauté potatoes been here before but won't b returning ,

Myself and daughter visited (again) even though very busy we were shown to our table very quickly, our drinks delivered quickly and order taken. My meal was hot, I had beef dinner, the problem was there was so much veg for me there was no room on the table, I asked a waitress to take away two tureen (did not want so much being diabetic) as she walked away she said I am diabetic you can eat the veg, this was rude I will eat what I want. My daughter said here vegan curry with half and half was the best vegan meal she had eaten, praise from hereto be sure, all in all lovely visit lovely food lovely young girl that took our order, and look forward to our next visit

We were visiting family in Swansea so decided to book lunch before leaving to head home with them.

We had a warm welcome had a lovely lunch, great service. When we had the bill we had been charged £3.20 for a large glass of Soda water and blackcurrant juice. This spoiled our afternoon. To charge that much for soda and blackcurrant is extortionate.

Called in LATE on Sunday @ 19.00 hrs as we had missed lunch at the normal time due to shopping and we were both glad we did.

We arrived with my elderly parents just before 1pm after a long drive, only to be greeted by an officious woman at the reception counter who snapped that check-in wasn’t until 3pm. She then couldn’t find our booking so questioned us as if it was our problem until we handed her a printout from the Internet.

All aspects of my stay made me feel that this hotel is slipping in standards. Not great but okay! Rooms were a good size though and spa very quiet.

Myself and my daughter were here for a dirty dancing tribute night. The hot carvery was delicious. The desert was realy nice berry cheese cake. We were late arriving but they set us a table just for us. The service was excellent. The tribute act was amazing. They had every one up dancing. Can not wait to go again.

We don't go that often, but living in Jersey Marine it is quite handy to just walk over the road. This is even handier if you don't want to drive and you like good food and service.

Came here recently for a meal and was severely disappointed. I had the toasted bruschetta as a starter. I find it very odd that it's just melted cheese and chopped up peppers. As far as I'm aware, bruschetta is supposed to have tomatoes? It was ok but nothing special and not what I expected when ordering bruschetta. My main was disgusting. I ordered the grilled plaice. When it arrived it looked like slop on a plate and it didn't taste much better either. The chips were foul too and others eating commented on how they felt they had just been kept warm for hours. This was my first experience of eating out at the Towers and I will never be returning. It's way overpriced, staff appeared miserable and bored everywhere I looked and the food is barely edible. I didn't finish my food and ended up buying something to eat elsewhere while out soon after leaving. Total waste of money!

Absolutely gorgeous food, piping hot and served with a smile. Julia and the team couldn't have done enough to accommodate my disabled grandmother. Hats off to the team well done!

We decided to go for Sunday lunch at the restaurant as we had been before and experienced no problems. This time however I had a problem with the hotels policy of a minimum spend of £10.00 or over.

Awful staff who don't help with complaints or problems at all. Went there for an evening event, music, meal and drinks. Despite paying especially for the night, half way through randomised off the street arrived.

Two of us ate an evening meal here and I had advised well in advance that I was vegan. Initially I was really impressed to be given a separate menu of choices when I sat down, but it seems that (like many restaurants) they think vegans like nothing but vegetables, and plain ones at that. My avocado and olive salad had probably a quarter of an avocado in it and tasteless and sparse dressing. I then opted for a veggie stir fry with rice. The veg was plentiful but badly cooked - the mangetout was limp and dark and very overcooked. It was also swimming in soy sauce which made it very salty and soggy. Some ginger or chilli wouldn't have gone amiss. I was starving when I sat down to eat but I left half my food. My companion however was happy enough with their steak, but the chips were obviously frozen ones and the peas looked and tasted like they'd been cooked for an hour. A let down overall, and I wouldn't rush back. Couldn't fault the service though.

Been to the Towers before for various occasions over the years and always enjoyed. Went on April 14th for a birthday get together with family and friends.The service was excellent the staff were excellent food was excellent need I say more.A gem and right on our doorstep

Disgusting TO charge 23pounds for sunday lunch and 12pounds foo my 3yr grandchild I had Turkey white meat on top and really dark meat under neath dessert was so small 2 spoonfuls and it was gone Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!

I booked the towers for my family of five for Christmas Day lunch at 2.pm, as we arrived early we went for a drink in the lounge bar. On arrival there was no one to welcome you or no welcome drink, which on our experiences of past Christmas lunch it seems to be the norm. Anyway, I said that we had arrived and was told to come in when ready. We pre ordered our meal in advance, three prawn cocktail , and two pate. Well;when the starters arrived we quickly realised we’d made a mistake to book the Towers. The prawn cocktail was served on a tea plate , it looked as if they’d put a handful of prawns a handful of salad a wedge of lemon and a dollop of rose marie sauce,the pate,must have been a budget buy from Bookers..now the mains, three turkey one beef one lamb, well again the plates we’re small round dinner plates, the turkey, plenty of as the beef and lamb,but little room to plate the veg. Well the desserts, two raspberry profiteroles which you’d be likely to have at a children’s birthday party, and three baileys cheesecake. At £77.50 per head, a very poor experience and I think my comments says it all. I know we should have complained on the day , but didn’t want to make a fuss on Christmas Day.

I was so looking forward to a good family meal to celebrate my partners birthday and boy were we let down ;-( Food was served cold , and the choice on desert menu was shocking.....will never go there again!!

We have been going to the Towers for a Christmas meal for a few years but this year was so disappointing. No atmosphere at all. The restaurant was quiet and we have never felt so rushed - especially so as there was so few people there. We had only just sat down when are starters came to the table. The mains came as soon as the table was cleared and we had to ask on 3 separate occasions to hold dessert . Despite this our desserts came before we asked for them. The food was OK, but not a good as previous years. A comment made was that it felt like a place that is about to go under. One dessert came and the waitress apologised that it was broken as she had dropped it!!! Really - well don't serve it - put out a fresh one..... Needless to say we didn't leave a tip and won't be returning any time in the near future.

Fantastic hotel, spa, food and entertainment. Nothing seems to much trouble. We stayed in a family room for DBB, it was so lovely we extended our stay for an extra night. Can't recommend this place enough. Pure relaxation with an amazing atmosphere and excellent food. Looking forward to coming back very soon.

Beef dinner for 250 people, superb service, top class meal, piping hot. Friendly service. Excellent function room highly recommended

Visitamos las torres y nos alojamos en la suite de lujo en el hotel principal. Y puedo decir que fue totalmente increíble. . estándar de la habitación era de 5 estrellas. Los miembros del personal. Muy educado y servicio excepcional. Por lo que mi hermana de 50 celebraciones de cumpleaños sea inolvidable. La comida era increíble y el acto de homenaje estuvo bien pero podría haber sido un poco más de ritmo, ya que cantaba a muchas canciones lentas. Pero en general, la experiencia fue increíble sin duda reservaremos de nuevo. Gracias contra.

Cuatro de nosotros hicimos hace quince días el almuerzo de domingo para celebrar a mi hermano-en-ley mermership cumpleaños de. Nos dirigieron a una mesa de ventana y nuestro pedir bebidas tomadas inmediatamente. Esperamos unos minutos antes de nuestra orden. Todos tuvimos los 3 campos y quedamos muy satisfechos con el campo; y la buena selección de entrantes y la carne sabrosa y un montón de verduras. Un poco decepcionado con la selección de dulces, especialmente ya que había sólo una porción de limón merengue de izquierda. Aún así, un almuerzo muy agradable y volveremos.

We visited on a busy Saturday lunch time, the service was friendly and efficient. The portions were very generous and the food was good. We were disappointed that we were not advised of the 10% service charge, however we will be returning.

We were a party of 4 and we had a really enjoyable meal, with good service. I was very annoyed when checking my statement to notice that a service charge had been applied without my knowledge, even though we had left tips on the table. This to my mind is underhand, and for that reason I will not be going to the Towers again.

Went for Saturday lunch the place wasery busy food was outstanding good quality a little disappointed with the service with young ladies not trained on serving as they kept reaching over to collect and serve my partner plate but apart from that very friendly and nothing was too much effect for them
