A very friendly welcome from enthusiastic staff. We were only here for coffee and traybake and both were VERY good. The coffee was outstanding. The place was clean, warm, comfortable and efficient and we will definitely return.

This is the exception to the rule about cinema kiosk foods. Superb selection of light meals and pizzas. A view over the Slitrig while taling a cuppa is highly recommended.

This place hes went right downhill in the past few months or so. The service is very poor and the menu is very sparse so think its the end of my money coming into this place

Went to visit an old friend we had a few places to picked to have lunch so decided to try the tower mill cafe, the only hot food was either soup or pasta bake we waited for about half an hour for it to arrive at our table, and when it did arrive it was stone cold, so they took it away to heat it up must have been using a candle as it took another 25 minutes to arrive back, will certainly not be going there again.

Finally, after some time I have to write that the store is a tragedy, open from 6 am despite this at 8 am there is never fresh bread from the bakery, rolls etc., there is no bread on the shelves, the same with vegetables, a similar situation after 5 pm, for someone working during the day there is no chance to buy fresh products, the ladies at the self-service checkouts if there is more than one are sometimes too busy talking to each other to notice that they need to approach the customer and help

Unfortunately, there was only a choice of mince pies! No other cakes were available, which was disappointing.

Who would have ever thought that a village like St. Boswell's would have such an excellent venue, which is community-focused. A café which is packed serving good food and friendly service, a browsing bookshop, arts and crafts shop and a delicatessen ... who could ask for more?

Lovely welcome for our family on a walk - 10 adults and 2 kids and staff super friendly. Very tasty tea cakes , scones, chips and cake. Everything looked delicious and a great setting.
