Went there for my wife's birthday and it was v good. Food spot on and service good too. It wasn't very busy however it was Wednesday afternoon. A little on the pricy side but for a special occasion acceptable 😉

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour by the owners cousin who was in charge tonight. I sent a steak back because I asked for medium rare. It arrived medium and dry. He told me next time ask for rare I told him I don’t want it rare I want it medium rare like the one I ordered here last week. He then told me to leave the restaurant I’ve never experienced rudeness and arrogance on this level before and I must say when the owner is there it was a different experience. He continued to say I’m the owners cousin so it doesn’t matter but I personally think it does matter. I will only be going back to tell the owner how awful his cousin has behaved tonight it’s totally unacceptable and very unprofessional.

Really good pizza and pasta also chef managed to provide kids meal outside of menu.

The food was very good but spoilt by the absence of my green beans….Liver and potatoes isn’t a meal (need veg) ! The service was friendly and pleasant but was left hanging once too often. The drink was a serious mistake…….. I ordered an Alcohol Free cider, which I enjoyed with my meal until my wife noticed it said 4.8% on the empty bottle! So, I was unable to drive my wheelchair bound wife home and had to call a taxi ( will have to pick my car up tomorrow!)

I went to tosca yesterday after hearing great reviews, unfortunately non of the reviews where the reality, we had a charcuterie board that was just loads of leafs with a few pieces of meat, that were very cheap meat (looked at tasted like a cheap pepperoni and salami that you would get in Tesco value section) then for our mains we had pizza and pasta dish, the pizza was extremely bland, and my pasta was cream based and not looked after whilst cooking, so had separated, and I was left with a plate of mass amounts oil, aswell as being extremely seasoned with Aramat to the point to couldn’t taste anything else, and the pasta was extremely yellow. Unfortunately I won’t be going back tosca,

Quick stop here for a desert during an evening trip with the bike after having dinner elsewhere. Friday evening 20:00 and the place was packed. We got a table with a river view, was served delicious apple tart, ice cream and Tiramisu. Even the espresso was yummy. Service top notch. What's not to like? We'll be back!

When visiting my mother I love taking her to lunch at Tosca, not just because its her favourite restaurants and rightly so, but they always treat her as is she was their own mother.

Been coming here for our anniversary for many years, the fillet steak meals are delicious especially the one cooked in brandy with peppercorn sauce 😋 Last time we came was a few years ago, still the same price £25.00, same staff, just wish they would smile or look happy once in a while rather than a busy frown.

I did feel very uncomfortable when I first came in and did actually want to go elsewhere, but my friend asked me to stay. The views are amazing. The pizza base was really nice, but the topping seemed to be cheap compared to other places, which was a shame. The chips were nice.

Hadn't been here since the pandemic so it was nice to see that nothing had changed, except an extra dining space near the window overlooking the water. As always the food was very good and service extremely friendly and efficient.

Shambolic meal. Asked for a table at the back and they said there was none. Then they sat two other people at the table. Meal was poor all around. Then they served me dessert with a huge shard of plastic. When I called them over they laughed, said sorry, and then said they’re sure there won’t be any more in it ? They then said they remove it from the bill - as if I should be grateful? AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

we came to this restaurant on Friday at 11:40, all the rooms were empty, only a couple of customers on the veranda. There were two of us and we wanted a table near the window, there were many available But the young waiter said that we should sit against the wall. We found this very rude and unprofessional, we spent £170 in another more friendly place. Good luck to this restaurant

Been going for years but only just starting using Ubereats and the linguine marinara we had delivered tonight was excellent with good sized portions and plenty of marinara.

A quality and authentic Italian restaurant with a wide ranging menu that caters for all tastes. We came here for lunch, and despite the restaurant being very busy , service was excellent , the food came out at a nice pace and was delicious. It's not the cheapest Italian, but I think that shows in the quality of the ingredients. A couple of decent car parks are within a few minutes walk. The best tables are the river view ones.

Welcoming, affordable and delicious. The café staff is professional and pleasant, the drinks are affordable and really tasty. Good atmosphere! Recommended for families or friends.

Very disappointed with the Christmas meal the atmosphere was very poor and the staff didn’t seem to care about us we had to ask for Christmas crackers the food was average and no Italian cookies served with our coffee. We have been there on many occasions and always enjoyed ourselves. I don’t think we will be back. Not value for money.

A staff member was incredibly rude to one of my party when they politely asked about vegan options. Bad attitudes, bad atmosphere and mediocre food. Avoid.

Had a fabulous meal here last night. Restaurant was packed, but service was still first class. Waiter was efficient and helpful. All staff were really friendly and chatty. The Monkfish was outstanding. Seafood pasta also really good as was the Girasol crab ravioli. Top class food, service, and great atmosphere.

Visited with a group of friends & really enjoyed ourselves .The food was excellent ,as was the service .A nice Pinot Grigio - not always the case in restaurants .The best prawn cocktail !!! We were shown to a table in the area overlooking the river, but because I can't do stairs, the waitress quickly set up an easier table for us .She was lovely . Will be booking for a meal after our next Ropetackle visit to the panto . Thank you

Abusive shouting at younger staff members that were trying to do their job, very rude to customers and clearly don’t care about how they come across to people. Have no respect for their workers at all, can see a lot of people agree with me in the reviews. I can see a couple of sarcastic responses to customers in the reviews as well, charming! Very embarrassing.

Food amazing as always. Never fault it at Toscas. Staff friendly and attentive. Restaurant busy but run smoothly . Fish is fresh and cooked perfectly , sauces beautiful and Calzone pizzas are a must tobtry.

Had the veal in breadcrumbs and found the veal to be very overcooked, not up to their usual standard. Other members of the party had Pizza which they advised were superb. Can't win them all.

It has been a pleasant experience. One of the best Italian restaurants I've been to. I exceed my expectations. The excellent attention. The food and the dessert delicious. (Seafood risotto and apple pie). You can also taste a good Moretti beer. Absolutely recommended. I will be back.

This is one of those lovely restaurants that can just always be relied upon for superb food and good service. I have been eating here from time to time over many years and it is just lovely. It consistently represents really good value for money.

Lovely restaurant very clean and the food is always excellent but the service has been terrible last two times. I have visited here many times over the years seen it go from small restaurant to a much larger one. Food comes out quick between course's But a long time collecting plates and 1 drink all night no chance of catching there eye really wanted one of there beautiful deserts But couldn't get any service always the best bit of the evening In the end just gave up and got the bill I always leave a tip even with bad service But couldn't even do that Don't think I go back there

Been coming to Toscas for a few years and it’s had its ups and downs but the meals this evening were great. Lovely pizza and perfectly cooked pasta with prawns. Beautiful view over the river and helpful friendly service. Recommended

Firstly, the restaurant is beautiful. Very nice decor and the large windows that open up onto the river make it a lovely place to eat lunch. However the male waiter on a Saturday lunch time was quite rude to us. When we complained (quietly) that the garlic bread wasn’t cooked through he just looked at me blankly and started prodding it with his finger. He did come back and say the chef agreed it ‘needed a few more minutes.’ So they’d removed it off the bill, fine. We moved on. The food in our opinion wasn’t great quality for the price, (£50+) and the waiter continued to be stand off-ish so when it came to paying and he asked if we’d like to leave a gratuity I politely declined. Payment went through and he sarcastically said ‘thank you for your generosity.’ His attitude the whole time was really unnecessary and confrontational and has put us off returning or recommending Tosca.

Ate in this restaurant pre concert at the Ropetackle. Service was relatively prompt which meant that we could eat without rushing. Pizza was good, nice base and good covering of toppings. Friend had a seafood pasta dish which was a good portion with lots of seafood. Bottled Harveys best bitter with meal. Overall good value. Didn't try starters or dessert so unable to comment.

Our first takeaway from Toscas ,and we will definitely do it again . Food was to their normal stand and was pipping hot . Can’t wait to do it again

5 of us had lunch at Toscas on a Tuesday. Our waiter Younis was great and very helpful. Serive was prompt and everyone's meal was delicious. We had vegetarians and sea food enthusiats and all were happy. Thank you

Tosca is well known for it excellent dishes and a superb friendly atmosphere and is well used, we have lunch there twice a week, the menu is excellent. I would give it 6 stars if possible. Richard and Eileen

Nice food. My lamb skewers were tasty, if a little tough, and my companion's mushroom linguine was superb. Busy for a Tuesday lunchtime, but not rushed. Good service.

My son just took me for lunch for a belated Mother's Day.I have to write a review because the food and service was brilliant.I had Seabass fillets,just wonderful and my son had lamb . Lovely guy served us,I live in Shoreham and Tosca is the No1 restaurant for me.♥️♥️

I thought the food was excellent when I went with my family recently the service was very good also but I must warn people about the parking at the back of the restaurant you have to pay online, three of us tried to do so but it wouldn’t let us😢 we phoned and emailed from the restaurant and would you believe it I had a parking ticket delivered to the car rental company who charged me £60 to administer plus the parking ticket so I paid £120 in total so I was very unhappy about this and as I say it left a bad taste in my mouth !!!!!! You have been warned the restaurant must know about this but at the time didn’t warn us the parking company is called GSX Services please be warned.

Tosca Shoreham visits with Richard and Eileen and friends are special because I've known them for some 50 years plus so it's always a little like meeting family - the food is and always has been 10/10 - friendly service is second to none - cant wait to go again - Terry 😁👍

Had a great meal here last night. Seafood linguine and Crab ravioli. Excellent food, generous amount of tasty, well cooked seafood. Mussels to start we thought pricey, but really generous portion, worth it. Good wine choice too. Not been here for a while, but will definitely be back again soon.

We were looking for a coffee shop🍵 the very kind lady working serving lunches said she would serve us just coffee (it was lunch time and so didn't have to) the friendliness of all the staff was lovely 😁 will deffo go back for food

Great evening, super food and outstanding service. The only issue I had was the difficulty in choosing what to order, as there were at least eight dishes on the menu I really wanted to try. Among the 11 people in our party, not one had anything but the highest praise for the quality of the food we enjoyed. We all will be returning to Tosca's soon.

My second visit here and it exceeded expectations set from the first. The food was delicious and service warm & friendly. Can't wait for my next visit 🤗

Had birthday dinner for 9 here last night. It was AMAZING. Nothing was too much trouble. Accommodated 4 children & 2 dairy free diners with no fuss at all. The staff were so kind. Food was hot, very very tasty, beautifully served and was enjoyed by us all . Thank you Tosca's....we will be back!!

Single, female traveller, was well looked after but not too much! Just the right amount of attention and didn't feel out of place. I had the chicken skewers with an additional side of spinach with small glass of wine followed by an Ameretto coffee. All delicious and an acceptable cost of about £29 before gratuity. Lovely location. Quiet at 8.30pm on a Tuesday evening, but not dead quiet, which suited me perfectly. If our d this place on the recommendation of a local lady I got chatting to earlier in the evening.
