I’ve ordered from Joe’s multiple times now, and it’s been spot on every time! The burgers are, easily, the best in the area and all the ingredients are clearly of high quality. Delivery is consistently quick, everything arrives fresh, hot, and exactly as it should be. Highly recommend.

This really is a tasty burger. Arrives fresh and well wrapped to preserve its flavours.

My bap was wet on the bottom so I had to eat it with a knife and fork. The meat was the only good thing in all of it and it was also dry. The chips were covered in cheese we didn’t ask for and so melted we could barely get them out of the wet cardboard box they were in. After calling the restaurant twice they called to say the driver had arrived and there was a free drink for everyone to say sorry. A meal for three had one can of coke. Hugely dissapointing!

Absolutely brilliant! Burgers are sensational. The perfect balance of ingredients which means the overall flavour is delicious and the burger is succulent and tasty. We were so impressed. Lovely fries too. Thank you. We thoroughly enjoyed the food.

Food took 1 hour and 15 minutes there latest time it could have arrived and was cold. Very disappointing.

Received our delivery. Chilli fried were raw chips with a blanket of jarred jalapenos. Inedible. If a burger joint cant chips right there is something very wrong

Quality burger, well worth the money, juicy and tasteful. Both fries and onion rings were also good quality and crispy. Ordered via JustEat as there was a better promotion, you can also via their own website with decent 1st time ordering discount. Highly recommended and will order again.

Burger is too big to handle! You’ve been warned. But my word is it good. I had the Valencia Special and it was delicious. Chilli mango sauce was excellent for dipping your fries. The waitress was very helpful in guiding me through the menu. We ate in and the decor was nice and rustic but had comfy seats and lots of light. Customer toilet, plenty of cutlery, just watch for the yellow door as it’s not the entrance the glass one next to it is.

Great concept and food was really fresh. Just had to go easy on fillings. Found there was so much particularly in the vegan burger that it was hard to eat without it falling out. Also the option to remove bits would’ve been great. Loved the milkshake and fries.

Yes the food was late BUT it was worth the wait! The hard working people at Joe's kept me informed, we're apologetic and even gave me a peliece if cake on the house to apologise for the lateness of the food. I do believe this is not a regular occurrence and would be happy to give them another go and recommend them to friends and family.

Chips not greasy burger very tasty

Usually brilliant, unfortunately the burger wasn't fully cooked and was very pink in the middle, which as it's a kids burger isn't really great. Most went in the bin. Would rather have waited a bit longer for delivery.

Decent burgers delivered, arrives in the best state compared to patty guy and the woods. Polite staff and clean restaurant. Even beter on sight :)

Avoid this place like the plague. The staff will undercook or overcook your burger and then try and disguise the evidence with ridiculous amounts of sauce and onions, so naturally you only notice the absolute scam when you have a mouthful of regret. I couldn't even handle eating my burger, I took about three bites, and then came to the realisation that Joe's Charcoal House had cremated my expensive meal and then felt sick shortly after which lingered for a few days. I also ordered this at the same time as a meal for someone else, they both arrived the same way and in the same quality, and we both got sick. If you check other reviews from take out apps there are loads of people complaining about this and also complaining about the food quality or missing items so it's a common occurrence for this place. Avoid eating here unless you like playing charcoal and salmonella roulette. DO NOT ORDER OR EAT FROM HERE IT WILL MAKE YOU ILL.

The food was marked as delivered at the end of the time estimate. After 10 minutes I rang the restaurant to be told (without asking for Order No/Address/Name) that it had left ten minutes earlier and was on it’s way. After another 10 minutes I rang back to be told the same thing. The food arrived shortly after that, 20 minutes after it was marked delivered. The driver said he collected about 5-10 minutes earlier so it hadn’t even left the restaurant when it was marked as delivered. Dishonest.

Just finished this mouthwatering burger with chips and I’m more than impressed is up there with some of the best burgers Iv had 👌 highly recommend if your in the area don’t forget to get the rosemary mayo with chips 🤯 will blow your socks off.

Found an old order to submit another review. It's not Joe's (who called me back and let me know the food is en route). It's Just East and the app wrongly saying delivered. Looking forward to the food. Time to cancel my other order or will have to eat tomorrow!

We had been hesitant to order burgers in the area again after multiple disappointing experiences from other restaurants, but the food from Joes burgers was so good! The burgers are huge, hot and tasty. The chips were crispy and fluffy and the mozzarella sticks seasoned so well. The burger meat was high quality and had lots of flavour. The buns have poppy seeds, so prepare for mess (good burgers should be messy anyway!!). A little pricier than others, but absolutely worth it for the quality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love joes burgers and don’t go anywhere else, the only thing I’ve noticed is prices are going up and soo much lettuce being put in the burger 😬 I have to take most of it out as the burger always slides out and the filling, I still always order and will always order. If prices get too high though Il have to stop ordering. Food is amazing from joes never had a bad one and I’ve brought loads 😝

I have never been so disrespected in my life. I walked into the store to pick up an order and the managers tone towards me was so unusual, he was showing so much attitude for no reason and started screaming and shouting when I was leaving? However, there was a super nice employee who was so nice about the whole situation but I would avoid this place in the future and will not be coming back after being insulted

Lovely burgers but I feel 6.50 for a small box of chili chips is a bit much.

Food was 20 minutes late. Both burgers arrived soggy, wet buns. One was cold. The other not that much hotter. Called to see where order was, they said they would send some complimentary chips. There also arrived stone cold and covered in cheese. Very disappointed. £20 for two burgers, half of which were inedible

Food was 30 min late, we call the restaurant and they add 20 min extra. The guy told us that they not even started to prepare our burgers (1 h and more after placing the order, on a Tue evening). Finally arrived (2x adult burger 1x kids) tasty but not worth £10 each. My burger (cheesy) arrived without cheese. Ordered £6.5 loaded fries, arrived cold with unmelted cheese on top. 2 pots of fries went straight in the big: unedible. For sure we will be not ordering again from here.

Really disappointed in Joes! I’ve had a number of burgers from them and they have a deal where you buy 9 and get the 10th free. I bought from them 9 times, and they sent a code for me to redeem for free. Problem is the code lasts a week and they then closed for refurbishment in which time the code expired! They have since refused to honour the code even though I couldn’t redeem it because they were closed. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICE!!

Best burgers in town! Really good quality for a decent price. Staff were also amazing and it’s a nice and clean place

No respect for peoples time. Ordered food for collection. Told us to arrive at 21:20. Which meant 30 minutes from time of ordering (plenty of time for a collection) we get there when asked after checking the pick up time again. Haven’t even started making our order. Tell us to wait 5 minutes…. 15 minutes later … still no food. Why waste out time… if it takes almost an hour for you to make a burger then 1. Hire more/better staff 2. Be honest about the fact it will take you an hour so we dont spend our very rare evening off sitting in your shop.

Burger missing from our order, called them to ask for one to be sent out when they had chance as I understood it was Friday and they were busy so not the end of the world but the man on the phone wasn’t interested - told me to call just eat and get a refund. Such a shame, food always great from here, shame customer service doesn’t match it. Won’t be ordering again from here.

Late, stone cold and missing items I’ve paid for. This is the third time it’s been late and cold. Won’t be ordering again.

Food was late and cold and below average

Ordered at 6.50pm arrived at 8.45pm. Called the restaurant at 8 and said they were delivering it now half an hour later still not here. Called again and they hung up on us.

Food was great but I ordered it for a later time and it was just send straight away. Obviously I wouldn’t normally complain about that but I ordered it for a certain time for a reason.

Outstanding food. We’ve never tried Joe’s before, but tonight our usual burger place wasn’t taking delivery orders so we thought we’d give it a go and we are SO glad we did. It was delicious, even my mother (who is extremely fussy) said it was the best takeaway she’d had in a long time. Thank you Joe’s!
