On my way home I popped in, and even though it was the end of the day, the two staff members (Rob and Aarzo) were superb. Friendly and helpful, they were a total credit to the restaurant and I will 100% be going back. Thanks both. Ed

The chicken that they advertised as grilled is actually just boiled and absolutely not tasty. I ordered very spice and it was not spicy at all

The staff at Tortilla Finchley Road are the most miserable and rude staff I’ve experienced anywhere. Me and my daughter ordered one tortilla, the girl said as we were sharing a burrito she wouldn’t be prepared to cut it in half for us ha ha ha. Food is average and the terrible terrible customer service will finish this chain off

The staff are polite and efficient. The burritos themselves are delicious. You only have to wait about 1 minute for the staff to prepare it right in front of you, and it's extraordinarily cheap. I have nothing but good things to say.

Staff never want to make quesadillas here and I don’t understand why they work at Tortilla Finchley Road as there is no customer service…literally! I walked in to this branch about 8:30pm-ish tonight and asked for 2 quesadillas and was told the machine to toast the quesadillas wasn’t working by a server called Mamadou. This isn’t the first time this lazy barefaced lie has been told at this branch by other servers. I then walked away from the counter and proceeded to place the order on the ritual collection app. I think Mamadou was watching me and then turned off the app as one minute later as it said collection was closed for the day, but was it was working again a few minutes later as soon as I had stepped outside and out of view. I then placed an order for the quesadillas on the ritual app and this was accepted which was a miracle considering “the machine isn’t working”. I then collected my order from inside 14 minutes later and with Mamadou conveniently nowhere to be seen, I asked another server Victoria, as to why staff don’t like making them. She came out with the most shocking response and said it’s sometimes to do with being busy! There were 3 people in the queue, 2 Deliveroo drivers waiting to collect, no one sitting down inside the restaurant and 3 members of staff. How could you be too busy to make the food you are hired to make?! I then asked Victoria for the branch managers name which she was reluctant to confirm. Eventually she confirmed this to be someone called Louisa. I asked if I could speak to the current shift manager working at the branch that night and Victoria beckoned someone on a radio. And you know who appeared…Mamadou! So not only do you have most of your staff not wanting to make food for in store customers which is displayed for sale, you have shift managers promoting this to junior staff! Once I confronted Mamadou about his lie, he denied telling me the “machine isn’t working” and acted like I was crazy and changed it to “I told you we aren’t using the machine right now”. He preceded to tell me “he doesn’t have time to deal with this” and then walked away muttering under his breath about me. Lazy staff with terrible attitudes that make you feel uncomfortable visiting this place and no customer service if you order a quesadilla at any time of the day. Even Deliveroo drivers got their food before I did! Once back home, I opened up what must be the saddest looking quesadillas to date with chicken piece only on a few of the slices - see photo. After looking online at other reviews, I see the lying about machines not working is a bit of trend including terrible attitudes with staff at Tortilla. I will be escalating this with senior corporate management too - utterly disgusted!

First time here last week - I received excellent customer service from Kinneta and the food was good.

I am new in the area and went in for my first ever burrito. It was really good! The people behind the counter were so sincerely sweet and interested - amazing atmosphere, you dont experience that many places in London.

It arrived cold. The black beans clearly hadn't been re-hydrated and it was like munching on cold corn or other pulses. My wife asked for no chilis and received a bowl full of them along with the white bits that create the capsicum; plus being pregnant not a great thing to have right now. Overall....if you want to risk it. Have fun. Otherwise....stay away,

Came into the Swiss Cottage branch and got a few burritos. Leon wrapped them so well that while we were walking back with them, the bag split and dropped all items to the floor. Not one content of the burritos was spilled Super yummy too

Definitely the best Burritto place amongst the 20+ different places ive been too. Tortilla is a very good chain. Fast food restaurant thats actually fast, done there in front of you. Im friendly to staff wherever I go and dont expect anything from them therefore I was totally not surprised that I got really good friendly service here they gave me a good portion, recommended theyre favourites, waved at my kid and had a good time. Really the best burritto place in town I just wish they did fresh churros.....

The place was on my walk back to hotel from Finchley road station. The staff was really cheerful and hence visited couple of times. The food is standard, but the staff understands the requests and just. If wanna quick burrito then I will prefer Tortilla

Popped in for dinner with the kids during vacation in the UK. Overall, everyone enjoyed their meal. Interesting portion sizes compared to North American burrito restaurants - if you are from Canada/US, burritos are usually HUGE whereas these UK burrito are more moderate in size....

Since I love Maxican food some times - I found that this place is pretty good , convenient and gives satisfying meals / snacks . The location is prime , food is fresh , wholesome and worth the money . Service is good too ....

Walked past this place and decided to grab a burrito. Have eaten one at another branch so had high expectations. It was delicious. Probably my new favourite food to go. This branch is closest to home so will be returning for sure.

Stopped here for a quick lunch, the food was very good. A good variety of traditional Mexican fare. Lots of seating set out on 2 floors. Easy and quick to order, also good for take outs.
