We sat at the bar as the place was full and I believe we had better service than anywhere else. Jordán & Tyrese were awesome. True craftsmen and very mindful of servicing the bar and the clients in front of them.

We enjoyed some fantastic cocktails and a light dinner, but the highlight of the night was definitely the table side Caesar salad, prepared by our incredible server Micah! She made the experience extra special with her energy, and honestly, it’s the best Caesar salad we’ve ever had.

It was our first time here, the view is astonishing, the service from Luz was so heartfelt and kind. The food portions were on the smaller side but tapped into the Spanish tapas side & filled us all up as we shared appetisers, mains & dessert. It is on the pricier side however, we were expecting that due to location, stunning view, and having a look at the menu beforehand. It was still worth it for a night out with loved ones. The cocktails were also absolutely lovely, super tasty & before we sat at our table we had a drink at the bar and received wonderful service from the bartender. Overall we had a lovely experience at this beautiful place with absolutely friendly staff! Would definitely recommend and come again!

Incredible experience from start to finish – the panoramic skyline of Kings Cross paired perfectly with their signature cocktails. A huge thank you to Varun for guiding us through the menu and sharing fascinating stories about the venue’s heritage. The tuna tartare and truffle fries were absolute standouts. Can’t wait to return!

Had a lovely time with a friend of mine - we had no reservation and chose to eat and drink at the bar. Both Jordan and Tyrese provided exceptional service both drinks and food wise! Will most definitely be returning in the future

An amazing place with a great vibe and music. Staff members are all so friendly and helpful, which made our night out even more special. Food is tasty and cocktails good (cocktails could be a little bit bigger). Concept is very practical. After dinner in the restaurant, you can relocate to the bar and enjoy stunning views. Also, no one tried to speed us up to leave in two hours like in other places, which is a big plus.

Angy Garlos, who leads the staff including Abbie, Carlos and Shay at the Standard Hotel is beyond accommodating. I was a solo female guest. Angy and her staff ensured I was not only taken care of, but went out of their way to chat to me the whole evening. I cannot recommend these precious members of staff enough.

Eliza was the perfect host and we thoroughly enjoyed our food as she was very attentive and intentional about serving us.

The level of service completely lets this restaurant down. I've never known service to be so slow, particularly given the prices you're paying to dine here. We were largely ignored for entirety of the dinner, which lasted around 4 hours due to the lack of attentive staff. I had also called ahead to let them know it was my friends' 30th birthday, if they could bring a candle out, but as expected, nothing happened. Incredibly disappointing and not worth the extortionate price.

First experience at Decimo - arrived for lunch - restaurant was surprisingly empty - slightly frosty reception - I was expecting a little more welcome but no drama. Food was excellent, service was good for the most part, portions are surprisingly small on some dishes for the price but once you get past the price/size debate the food is great. We ended up spending over £500 for 4 people so it ain't a cheap option but the views and the place itself makes it worth a visit. One slight complaint was after lunch we headed up to the roof bar (which is great)- ordered a bottle of Rose and another cocktail which came to £82 but was then presented with a bill (at the bar so not table service) with £12 service charge on it. I don't mind paying service charge but if I've gone to the bar to order my drinks and taken them back to my table personally I feel like charging me £12 for the pleasure, on top of the price of the drinks is simply wrong. Enjoy Decimo for what it is but I took the service charge off from the bar!

Dinner for 5. Service was a bit slow and not attentive. Food was so and so . The meat was very good (fillet) however most of the fish dishes were not. Couple of ppl ordered margaritas which were not great either. The restaurant is overpriced and value for money is questionable .

Finalmente nos sentamos 1 HORA después de nuestra hora de reserva! Teníamos una reserva para una fiesta de 6 para las 9 pm. Cuando llegamos, justo a tiempo, nos dijeron que los clientes anteriores estaban a punto de pagar la cuenta para que pudiéramos esperar mientras tanto en el bar. Estábamos contentos de hacerlo... pero 30 minutos todavía nada y el personal seguía diciendo que la mesa estaba lista... a las 9... 50 pm todavía nada y en ese momento ni siquiera pudimos cambiar de restaurante porque la cocina probablemente estaban a punto de cerrar en todas partes. Tuve que insistir mucho para finalmente conseguir la mesa y una vez que nos sentamos nos dijeron que la cocina habría cerrado en 30 minutos (por supuesto). Nos ofrecieron bebidas complementarias como disculpa, lo que apreciamos... pero la forma en que seguían diciendo que la mesa estaba casi lista durante más de 50 minutos fue una decepción. ¡Así como la comida en sí eventualmente! Realmente caro para lo que es... Lástima, el ambiente es agradable ... pero definitivamente nunca volveríamos!

Muy promedio, se han inclinado a 2 estrellas debido a la decepción, frente a una noche anterior hace un año. Empezando por lo bueno, el servicio de mesa estuvo atento y la camarera escuchó y respondió. Sin embargo, cuando hablamos con la gerencia después, nos dieron la impresión de que lo que era un excelente lugar ha cambiado al modo de maximización de beneficios. Y la tortilla clásica era excelente. La elección del cóctel impresiona, que es debe para más de £ 16. Primero, es mucho dinero en efectivo por no mucha comida. No busco porciones de tamaño estadounidense, pero £ 25 para una sola vieira, y £ 45 para 2 chuletas de cordero pequeñas parece excesivo, y tuvimos que enviar de vuelta ya que estaban exageradas y masticables. El atún yuzu acaba de probar aceite de oliva, sal y pimienta. Ambos tipos de papas eran agradables, pero solo son papas. Quizás la más decepcionante fue la chuleta de cerdo Iberia -en eso, a las 8 : 15 pm, se habían agotado. ¿Cómo sucede eso para un lugar que se especializa en su carne a la parrilla?

It was horrible. Just had dinner there, by myself and they manage to make me wait 25 minutes for payment. They told me it was my credit card, they made one of the three credits get blocked, I arrived late to a date because of this delay and they where trying to make me go to an ATM escorted by SECURITY to make the payment. Turns out it was their machine that wasnt working. After the most unpleasant situation, I could pay normally with my other two credit cards.

A buzzing, busy place but relaxing atmosphere! This place is amazing on the design. We sat at the bar and were able to watch the bar make amazing cocktails and take care of us. Shoutout to Jordon & Tyrese who looked after us with drinks & our order. Food was exceptional, loads of flavours, cooked to perfection. Food is on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. From the decor to the service to the taste of the dishes is all 5 star.

The food at Decimo was actually very good, and the staff members who served us was kind and professional. However, our experience was completely overshadowed by another staff member—a blonde-haired person wearing all black (Saturday 22nd March 2025 lunch shift) who was rude, unprofessional, and blatantly racist toward me and my husband. Their lack of table-side manners and dismissive attitude made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. It’s disappointing that such behavior is tolerated here. While some of the staff were great, no good meal is worth being treated this way.

Decimo – The Standard, London Review Ambience & Atmosphere (4.5/5) Decimo still delivers on aesthetic and vibe—the retro pop meets mid-century chic décor is as stunning as ever. The Standard Hotel has always been known for its design, and this space continues to impress visually. Food & Drink (2.5/5) Sadly, the quality has slipped. • Cocktails are mediocre at best, lacking the balance and finesse expected at this price point. • The food, while tasty, is overpriced and lacks generosity—and at the end of the day, it’s still just elevated street food. • Nearly £10 for a single two-bite taco? Hard to justify, no matter how well-executed it is. Service & Experience (2/5) The service is inconsistent and scattered, making the whole experience feel disjointed. It seems like The Standard is overstretched and struggling to maintain the level of hospitality it was once known for. What should be a seamless, well-run dining experience instead feels rushed, inattentive, and at times, chaotic. Value for Money (2/5) Decimo leans too hard into style over substance—it charges premium prices, but the portions, quality, and service don’t justify the cost. There are better options in London where you can get more substance, authenticity, and hospitality for the same price. Overall Rating: 2.5/5 Decimo isn’t what it used to be—great décor and a stylish setting, but food, drinks, and service that don’t match up. It feels like The Standard is struggling to keep up with its own reputation. I’ll pass for now, but I might give it another shot in a year to see if they’ve managed to turn things around.

Decimo Restaurant, stunning views, good food, but tiny portions Three of us visited Decimo with high expectations and while the experience was generally pleasant, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The positives: ✔️ The view is spectacular: From our table, we had a beautiful panorama of St. Pancras Station, which made the evening even more special. And the bathroom? A surprisingly breathtaking view possibly the best in the venue! ✔️ The décor is modern and elegant, creating a sophisticated atmosphere. ✔️ The cocktails are well made expensive, but the quality is evident. ✔️ The food is tasty: We ordered fish and although the presentation was nothing special, the flavour was delicious. What could be better: ⚠️ The portions are extremely small for the price of the dishes. The fish was well prepared, but the serving size was tiny. ⚠️ Value for money: We don’t mind paying for quality, but at £490 for three people, the portion sizes left much to be desired. ⚠️ Presentation could be improved: Given the price, we expected a more visually appealing plating. Overall, Decimo offers a stunning setting, great flavours and an exclusive dining experience, but the high prices and small portions might leave you wanting more. It’s a lovely choice for a special occasion if you appreciate atmosphere and style, but perhaps not the best if you’re after a satisfying meal in terms of portion size.

Was here for a (stunning) wedding on March 9th. Food was exquisite but you can read more about that in other reviews. I want to talk about the staff and service. God, it must be hard to get everything so right when serving such an important dinner as that of a wedding meal for 200 guests. But even with five stars for everything, the warm and careful service we enjoyed on our table from Ellie was as notable as it was welcome. She got to know us all by name and - even after dinner and during the dancing - made sure we had all that we needed. It was like having a close friend on the staff to make everything easier and more fun. A proper pro. Thanks to all.

Our experience at Decimo did NOT disappoint! This was our first food stop in London and it set the bar extremely high. Everything we got was unbelievably delicious, especially the sweet potato which was hands down THE best sweet potato we’ve ever had! Not only was the food spectacular, but our waitress, Eliza, was so kind and bubbly. We loved her energy and she made our experience that much more enjoyable!

All the staff were wonderful but in particular, Ellie looked after us wonderfully during our dinner. She was an absolute star when helping us order, take photos and generally in making sure we had the best dinner. Great atmosphere with a friendly feel
