It was horrible. Just had dinner there, by myself and they manage to make me wait 25 minutes for payment. They told me it was my credit card, they made one of the three credits get blocked, I arrived late to a date because of this delay and they where trying to make me go to an ATM escorted by SECURITY to make the payment. Turns out it was their machine that wasnt working. After the most unpleasant situation, I could pay normally with my other two credit cards.

He knows the menu and understands dietary restrictions and can suggest amazing menu items to adhere to the same restrictions. If you have a doubt about the menu item/s, take Josh’s word for it. A buzzing, busy place but relaxing atmosphere! This place is amazing on the design. We sat at the bar and were able to watch the bar make amazing cocktails and take care of us. Shoutout to Jordon & Tyrese who looked after us with drinks & our order. Food was exceptional, loads of flavours, cooked to perfection. Food is on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. From the decor to the service to the taste of the dishes is all 5 star.

The food at Decimo was actually very good, and the staff members who served us was kind and professional. However, our experience was completely overshadowed by another staff member—a blonde-haired person wearing all black (Saturday 22nd March 2025 lunch shift) who was rude, unprofessional, and blatantly racist toward me and my husband. Their lack of table-side manners and dismissive attitude made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. It’s disappointing that such behavior is tolerated here. While some of the staff were great, no good meal is worth being treated this way.

The Standard Hotel has always been known for its design, and this space continues to impress visually. Food & Drink (2.5/5) Sadly, the quality has slipped. • Cocktails are mediocre at best, lacking the balance and finesse expected at this price point. • The food, while tasty, is overpriced and lacks generosity—and at the end of the day, it’s still just elevated street food. • Nearly £10 for a single two-bite taco? Hard to justify, no matter how well-executed it is. Service & Experience (2/5) The service is inconsistent and scattered, making the whole experience feel disjointed. It seems like The Standard is overstretched and struggling to maintain the level of hospitality it was once known for. What should be a seamless, well-run dining experience instead feels rushed, inattentive, and at times, chaotic. Value for Money (2/5) Decimo leans too hard into style over substance—it charges premium prices, but the portions, quality, and service don’t justify the cost. There are better options in London where you can get more substance, authenticity, and hospitality for the same price. Overall Rating: 2.5/5 Decimo isn’t what it used to be—great décor and a stylish setting, but food, drinks, and service that don’t match up. It feels like The Standard is struggling to keep up with its own reputation. I’ll pass for now, but I might give it another shot in a year to see if they’ve managed to turn things around.

Decimo Restaurant, stunning views, good food, but tiny portions Three of us visited Decimo with high expectations and while the experience was generally pleasant, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The positives: ✔️ The view is spectacular: From our table, we had a beautiful panorama of St. Pancras Station, which made the evening even more special. And the bathroom? A surprisingly breathtaking view possibly the best in the venue! ✔️ The décor is modern and elegant, creating a sophisticated atmosphere. ✔️ The cocktails are well made expensive, but the quality is evident. ✔️ The food is tasty: We ordered fish and although the presentation was nothing special, the flavour was delicious. What could be better: ⚠️ The portions are extremely small for the price of the dishes. The fish was well prepared, but the serving size was tiny. ⚠️ Value for money: We don’t mind paying for quality, but at £490 for three people, the portion sizes left much to be desired. ⚠️ Presentation could be improved: Given the price, we expected a more visually appealing plating. Overall, Decimo offers a stunning setting, great flavours and an exclusive dining experience, but the high prices and small portions might leave you wanting more. It’s a lovely choice for a special occasion if you appreciate atmosphere and style, but perhaps not the best if you’re after a satisfying meal in terms of portion size.

Incredible place,absolutely love it!

Was here for a (stunning) wedding on March 9th. Food was exquisite but you can read more about that in other reviews. I want to talk about the staff and service. God, it must be hard to get everything so right when serving such an important dinner as that of a wedding meal for 200 guests. But even with five stars for everything, the warm and careful service we enjoyed on our table from Ellie was as notable as it was welcome. She got to know us all by name and - even after dinner and during the dancing - made sure we had all that we needed. It was like having a close friend on the staff to make everything easier and more fun. A proper pro. Thanks to all.

Our experience at Decimo did NOT disappoint! This was our first food stop in London and it set the bar extremely high. Everything we got was unbelievably delicious, especially the sweet potato which was hands down THE best sweet potato we’ve ever had! Not only was the food spectacular, but our waitress, Eliza, was so kind and bubbly. We loved her energy and she made our experience that much more enjoyable!

All the staff were wonderful but in particular, Ellie looked after us wonderfully during our dinner. She was an absolute star when helping us order, take photos and generally in making sure we had the best dinner. Great atmosphere with a friendly feel

We had booked a family meal for my daughter’s 30th birthday and had phoned beforehand to explain a gluten intolerance of one of our guests who had come from America. We were told this could be catered for no problem. We were asked about allergies and intolerances at ordering and our guest checked that what she was ordering was gluten free and was told yes. Then when the dish was delivered to the table the waitress said as an afterthought “oh by the way this has gluten in it”. Of course our guest could not eat it as it’s not just a preference, it affects her body. She then had to go through again with the waitress what she would be able to eat, all whilst our food was on the table already. This made her feel awkward and took away from the experience. Either make it clear on the menu, or don’t say you can cater for food intolerances but then make errors. If this was an allergy this could be critical. The portions were very small compared to the expectations from the pricing. The meat was excellently cooked, but again not much of it for the money. We dine out frequently so have an expectation from a menu price and description. The menu was not very explanatory about the dishes and nor was our waitress. We had to chase for drinks a couple of times and the wine arrived near the end of the meal after being just left on the bar for ages. We ordered only a couple of deserts as were a bit wary by then. After these were delivered the waitress plonked down a single birthday candle in a pot. Why bother? It was a gesture, but not a very generous one. When paying over £600 for a meal we would expect a better experience. This was a special occasion for us. The views are great and the decor and music too, but it has to be more than that, the food and service has to match. I see this has been commented on before so maybe look at improving on this, although I don’t think we will be coming back.

I went there this weekend with my best mate for dinner, we had the most amazing meals, the seafood dishes there are incredible however the highlights for me where the dishes served table side, including a caesar salad and the chocolate mousse with olive oil both were 11/10. However, thing that really bought the whole experience together was our waiteress Ellie who was just amazing, she had such a warm smile as was more than happy to expain the dishes to us and what we could expect, and when it came to the table side dishes she couldnt have been more entertaining and happy for me to film was she was doing as well as talking us through it - a truely amazing night - thank you

We stopped into Decimo for a few cocktails and were lucky to have Anna from Sweeties working the bar - she made us some delicious whiskey sours and we had great time chatting about mixology and cocktails. She was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome.

I had the best experience and the best time at Decimo! Jordan, the bartender, made the night so fun. He was charismatic and down to earth and made some dope drinks while making great suggestions. I was in town for business and dining by myself on a Saturday night and he made me feel comfortable to hang st the bar solo. What a beautiful space and food as well!

Decimo used to be fantastic, but since they changed chef in September last year, the food is just not the same. The alioli used to be out of this world and now it is nothing to write home about. They used to have fantastic croquetas on the menu, which they no longer serve. The iberico pork was previously melt in the mouth delicious and in addition to halving the portion of pork that you get, it is nowhere near as good. Decimo used to be excellent, but the new chef has ruined the restaurant. It’s no longer worth the price you’re paying. After having been multiple times in the past, I now won’t be returning. It’s fine, but feels expensive for what you’re getting.

Decimo is a hidden gem of London. I hesitate to leave a review in case it becomes too busy! Angy at the bar makes the finest classic Michilada this side of Tulum. Strong recommend.

I came to Decimo today to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my significant other and to be honest the service in the restaurant was beyond low, we then went over to the bar I think in the lounge and the bartender Jordan basically turned the whole night around, his energy was too teir he looked after me and my girl whenever we beckoned him he is attentive and pays attention to what a customer wants and needs it’s because of him we left decimo smiling, proper class bartender 🫡

Unfortunately the change of head chef has resulted in the food quality decreasing. We use to really enjoy this spot, but it’s not what it use to be.

Had drinks on the 10th floor at the Standard. Great selection of fine booze and the bartender l, Jordan, pretty much hooked us up with our itinerary for the rest of our trip and a solid flight of mezcal.

I have no idea why this isn’t rated higher! I came years ago and they didn’t have stuff quite right on opening. It is now amazing. Service perfect. Cocktails perfect. Food perfect. DJ and atmosphere perfect. I had the best service I’ve had in London in years. Beautiful small plates and tacos and special celebrations for an anniversary. Will come back with a group of friends
