We dropped into Tortilla Canterbury (38 High St) as a family of three one evening during our day trip. We shared a quesadilla and a burrito—and honestly, that was one of the best burritos I’ve ever tasted! Even our two-year-old daughter happily tucked in. Friendly staff (Special thanks to Matthew) cozy vibe, and quick service made it the perfect find for our vacation stop. Highly recommendations!! Thank you guys

Had a lovely experience, had both Taya and Nicky serving us and were so accommodating to my vegetarian diet! So friendly and sweet! And the food is always yum :)

I witnessed an uncomfortable situation involving the manager. When I approached to place my order, he made me wait while he continued speaking casually and laughing with a girl. Once he finally acknowledged me, he then turned to one of his employees and, after she mentioned there was already chicken prepared, he dismissed her by telling her to “go make chicken” and then told her to “hustle” in a disrespectful tone. When I asked for a large portion, he gave me barely any food and made a sarcastic comment, which came across as unprofessional and dismissive.

I’m a regular customer and normally the service and food is good but today really inspired me to give a review due to ISABEL and MATTHEW giving a 10/10 experience by being their lovely selves, they were so friendly and they make a great team, amazing customer service well done :)

This place is honestly a gem! Absolutely delicious food. I often come here with my boyfriend, who has a stammer and struggles when it comes to ordering food, however the staff here are always an absolute delight! Super patient and kind!

felt like a pain going in right before close to redeem my free burrito but everyone was so friendly as always + matthew cut me some fresh lettuce as they had run out!

Came in for a pre workout burrito, tried one for the first time by accident last week at some lesser business. Wow! Let me just say that I'm new to burritos in general but it's absolutely gorgeous, I got double chicken for the gains, it's so good, i don't know what cheese they're using but it is delicious! Ill definitely be back soon. And the lady that made it, Katie her name tag said; so friendly, knowledgeable and funny, even if it hadn't been great, I'd come back just to see her again. 10 stars!!!

I went there last week with my mum, we were visiting Canterbury from Leeds and we stopped by Tortilla for some lunch. The food was lovely especially that pico de gallo !! Would definitely recommend

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The quality of the food was absolutely top-notch—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really tell that care and attention go into every dish. The staff were equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. They made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout our visit.

Got a kesadilla while i was working in canterbury a couple days ago, absolutely banged, crispy cheesy and delishous. The girl who made it, Zuni. Attentive and brightly professional, i dident really know what i wanted but she helped me pick. Deffo be back soon!!

A true gem in the heart of Canterbury! Not only was the food built exactly how I liked, the service was absolutely incredible!! I felt attended to and looked after without being overbore!! One of my new favourites, and somewhere I will 110% visit again!! A massive thankyou to Matthew (I believe I read the tag right!), who made me feel incredibly welcomed and was a diamond from start to finish!

Th e large bowl is half filled with rice. And you did not put any extra cheese and sour cream when I asked for 3x extra. I’d just like to be given what I paid for there’s barley any rice in it

Staff super friendly. I found the food ok, I had the open Burrito eat inside, so came on a metal plate not unlike a dogs bowl. The food hence went cold very quickly [probably not that hot anyway as in hot dishes to choose from] would I go again, probably not although very popular.

I went to tortilla to pick up a too good to go bag and was very kindly greeted by Nikki and Angelie. I caught them as they were cleaning up and they made me a big box of food all for just £4.40 - a great deal! It’s a great deal and a great vibe for students. I will definitely be back again

Not often I get cold food, expected the rice to be hotter, and when I pay for a large surprised both containers were the same size, not value for money.

Tortilla is amazing, but this branch is even better! It’s my once a week cheat meal, that I never get sick of. Ingredients are always fresh and full of flavour, and cleanliness is never an issue. Matthew (the manager), is superb as well, great hospitality and welcoming smile. He was kind enough to make my order right with 0 fus, and even advised me to sign up for the burrito society app to save some extra £££. Needless to say, I’ll definitely be back again soon! 🌯😋

5 star service, I got offered to try a sample of the new flavour of the month. Even when there was trouble ordering and applying a discount a worker called Matthew so thoughtfully offered me his discount. The staff are very helpful and go above their duty. Highly recommend trying Tortilla

I had a problem with my app, but the staff went above and beyond to help resolve my issue. Even so far that a very patient, kind worker called Matthew helped me to fix the difficulty and gave me a discount on top of that! Additionally, whilst sorting this out we got offered a free sample of their new menu item (this was great). The food and service is excellent and I definitely recommend spending a lunch break at Tortilla Canterbury!

I was here on a class trip to England(I am from germany) and on our last day, we had to spend the day in Canterbury. I went there as first a customer of the day(we went very early). The burrito was very delicious, the best I had yet and I tried quite a few. The staff was really nice and I felt quite welcome. Later that day I went for a second one and it was just as good as the first one. Price was reasonable(although I am not that familiar with british pricing). I hope I had a store like that in my home town. If I would ever come back to Canterbury, I would visit again 100%.

Just had the phatest burrito of my life here. Shout-out to Katie for doing God's work by shoving everything into it, and then rolling it to perfection. The burrito didn't break nor spill once. Great place. Only downfall is guac is £1.30 extra.

Fast food mexican diner selling burritos,nachos, quesadillas and tacos. Good choice of fillings and there's plenty in even a small burrito to satisfy you. There are vegetarian and vegan options and you can get a burrito,drink and a bag of tortilla chips for £10-12 . Beware though that some choices have a step up in price and some options are extra. I chose a barbacoa ( not sure of the spelling ) beef filling which was £1 more expensive but it was very tasty. You don't get a knife and fork here,it's served like street food. There was a nice buzz to the place, staff were friendly and helpful. You can get all of it as a takeaway which seemed popular and I saw three Deliveroo drivers in the 30 minutes I was there. I would visit again and try something else.

Went in for dinner this evening, ordered a burrito and a salad bowl. Absolutely incredible service. Much care taken in regards to food hygiene and customer concerns. Asked if we have been here before and explained the process and was patient with us throughout taking our order. Changed gloves between each order and asked if we were vegan/vegetarian which made us feel very valued as customers. Lovely staff and good food! Would 100% recommended.
