I use Charcoal Grill all the time, it’s my favourite Kebab place. Tonight I ordered two chicken sheesh kebabs for delivery. I called back 5 minutes later to add some chicken breast and salad to my order. When the food arrived, it was cold, we were missing the green peppers (my favourite part) and missing a pot of hot sauce. So I called to tell them in a friendly manner expecting them to say they will replace the order, in stead they argued with me that the food was cold because I added to the order, he will not replace anything but send me up a pot of green peppers. I told them not to bother as I won’t be using them again. Your lack of customer service is disgusting.

I ordered from here earlier this evening. The food was delicious and arrived nice and hot. It also arrived very quickly, much sooner than the estimated time which is a bonus. The burger was especially nice, it wasn't just a pile of grease like some takeaways do, it was tasty and not full of grease, which is excellent. The delivery man was lovely. I have mobility issues and rely on crutches, so ordered delivery despite living less than 60 seconds up the road. So the driver walked from the shop in the freezing cold and was so friendly and helpful. All in all, excellent service and I will be ordering from here again.

Honestly one of the best kebabs* I've had, and I've eaten a lot of kebabs. Perfect freshness and temperature, delicious meat and an excellent pita. The sauces were also great. Notably good was the home-made chilli sauce, which was utterly delicious! It was brought quickly and the driver was a really helpful guy. Next time I'm in the area I'm ordering again. It was really genuinely great! * Just for clarity, it's not a Shawarma style kebab with the lamb, it's more of a standard affair, but the meat was very tasty.

Came in after a long day of work, saff where absolutely lovely. So friendly and fantastic service. Prices are fantastic as well, on a budget but still got a fantastic meal at a reasonable price. Always a regular customer at charcoal grill will not go anywhere else for my food. The staff are very well mannered and chatty. Highly recommend Charcoal Grill to anybody.

All salad was fresh and crunchy medium is I fair size too. Would highly recommend, charcoal grill have fed the DC WINDOW CLEANERS very well

Tasty food though can wasn't cold

Ordered from here Iver weekend as was in the area with my partner. Never came at time I was given. On calling was told they tried 3 times. Impossible as was stood by window looking at drive. They then said they called me 3 times, Lies as phone was in my hand the whole time as I was on it while waiting. They then said they didn't call me as they didn't have a number for me, although given during order. I was then told I had given them the wrong address and the driver was somewhere else 3 times. I asked to redeliver if food is still hot. Food arrived cold, driver was rude complaining to me he went to the wrong place. No sauce was given, deserts arrived thrown around, salad wasn't what I call a salad, lettuce, one slice tomato & cucumber.. Will never order from here again, very rude and food left us with bad stomachs.

Been going here for more than 5 years, in the last 2 years the staff have become so rude.

Previously had some great pizza, nice thin crust and lots of flavour. Really liked the hot knight with added pepperoni. Sadly tonight no hot to the knight, no jalapeños thick base and quite greasy. Disappointing. Started going here for pizza but think this'll be the last 😔

This takeaway has been involved in fraudulent activity on my bank account. A payment was taken which was not authorized by myself. I live at the other end of the country!!!!

Food was cold, staff was handling the food with their hands without sanitizing, asked without onion as I’m not allowed to have it and I was completely ignored and they’ve refused to give me a substitute without onion… do not recommend

Ordered one Kofte kebab, two doner meat burgers, fries and onion rings. Food came very quick, was piping hot, and was even given a free cheesy pizza. Driver was very polite and accepted card at the door. 10/10 would recommend!

To be honest, the food was amazing only reason it gets a 3 star is because I found cling film inside my kebab... not really what I was expecting but I spotted it before I ate it lol but let's be fair, this is the uk, you kinda expect these things from a dirty takeaway, at least it turned up on time and tasted good

Me and my partner visited for weekend in Torquay and we found this kebab shop up the road from are hotel. This place is so reasonable in price. The portions are big too and very tasty! Well worth the money and the staff are very friendly

Ordered on the website, food came exactly on time. It was amazing, very clean, very tasty, not fatty & oozing with fatty juice, it was PERFECT! The chips was lovely too, crispy chips! Asked for kebab meat and chips with garlic sauce no salad received salad all over my meal and the garlic sauce in the salad heavily disappointed

I was a first time customer with Torquay Charcoal Grill, and I've to say that I was and still am, very disappointed and a little upset ! The points that I picked up on the order are as follows : • I specifically asked the chef / kitchen, not to put any cheese on anything at all ! Low and behold, because I ordered over a certain amount, they gave me a free 9 inch stoned baked pizza, with cheese all over it ! • The pitta bread was dry and like warm, and there was no salad to it, as promised ! • The onion rings were luke warm and soggy ! • The chips weren't cooked fresh, and tasted and looked like they'd been re-heated a dozen times ! They were also luke warm, thin and scraggly ! I definitely won't be ordering any food from here ever again, no way !!!

I “dined in” and had a chicken shish kebab. Delicious moist chicken perfectly cooked. Staff were very friendly, shop looked very clean. If I lived in Torquay, I would be coming back.

I really wanted this to be better than it was, however all the meats in the mixed grill were bland and far too greasy. I certainly wouldn't travel the time and distance to eat here again. Would've been much better off at any kebab shop but here.

Fantastic kebab shop! The chicken shish is really tasty and tender and the salad is really fresh, as is the bread. I've been here a few times and ordered for collection and I've always got what I ordered regarding the salad choice/amounts/sauces and the chips are always fresh, hot and crispy! The order is always ready to collect in 10 - 15 mins from placing it and the guys in there are always very nice and polite.

I got a lovely pizza, the place was clean and hygienic. Plus, staff are very friendly. Definitely will try again when I visit Torquay.

Ordered our food by phone, waited hour and a half to be told it had arrived and enjoy, it hadn’t. Rang and was told sorry it’s just being prepared and it’s on its way, it wasn’t. Rang again 40mins later to be told it’s with the driver. When it arrived it was cold and poor. First time we have ordered food, and guess what, the last. Not recommended.

The food is really good only down fall I ordered my food and was the wrong order when I rang up I got called a liar and ended up walking to the shop to sort the problem out as I got spoke to like a pice of s#@t on the phone when I got to the shop the staff Couldn't of been more helpful.

The food was nice but the delivery mad was extremely rude to my 12 year old son saying he should have cash instead of card as he did have a buy one get one free. Who has cash in times of Covid ? And also to hurry up as he has other orders in the car ont be using them again. Disgraceful !!

Used to be lovely but gone down hill both chicken and lamb doner dry and old tough meat with red bits and grisel only get a little meat for a large missing sauce and pitta is just rock hard most prob won't be back will try new places for kebabs

AVOID! Both myself and a friend suffered food poisoning after eating from here. Staff very rude when we attempted to report this.

We called here for a takeaway, the staff were friendly and the food tasty, but, it is a bit on the expensive side, £9.50 for a 9" margarita.

Have been here a thousand times. At least once a month if not more. Never had a problem until tonight. I rang to rectify the issue to be told there was no issue. Firstly. I ordered garlic sauce with the garlic bread, it is an option to select on their menu online, I didn't get it, they then said it doesn't come with garlic bread. Then why is it an option on your menu? Secondly I ordered the mixed meat and chips, with extra garlic sauce, again extra garlic sauce is an option on their online menu. The meat and chips did not have extra garlic sauce. The meat was bone dry and the chips were also incredibly dry. In fact it was inedible. And then there is also the fact that some of the meat was covered in a red skin type substance , I can only assume looks like pepper or tomato skin. I spend a lot of money here and have always been happy but your attitude towards me on the phone when I rang to try and fix it, has cost you a very loyal customer. I do have photos.

Waited over an hour for my food for it to come and it's the wrong order then told I would have to wait for my correct order to be delivered and they will take the wrong food away by this time is been 1hour 30mins to then ask for a refund and be told no! Avoid

Food is always really nice but just one thing I've noticed,last 3 times I've ordered from charcoal grill,I've always ordered garlic mayo,and all 3 times I haven't got it,I pay for this too and don't get it and although the food is nice I love the garlic mayo with my meat,so without it spoils it for me.

I found this place by chance, tucked away just off the high street. There was a large menu with plenty of deals to choose from. I chose a Doner kebab with chicken shish and I have to say that this is possibly the best kebab I have ever eaten ( and I have eaten a few in my time) You get a large portion of meat and salad for your money. The staff are super friendly too. I will definitely be back.

We order from Torquay grill at least 2-3 times a month ! We ordered 2 1/2 chickens and 2 chicken shish and donner meat and chips ! The chicken shish came with pita bread and salad not what was order . The chicken was cold and the salad was left over from last night by the look of it ! Not what we normally get , but we did have a hot cheese garlic bread that we didn’t order

Good meat skewers there . Would recommend
