Great price for a great portion of fish and chips, when you compare to the prices on Torbay Road. Fish size is good, large portion of chips overall tasty. Service good.

This chip shop always has long queues, is used by all the locals and nice fish and chips at a bargain price. fish is always lovely, cooked fresh to order and plenty of chips, a nice family running it. wouldn't go anywhere else

Fantastic chippy! Double deluxe cheeseburger and chips for £2.50p and really tasty burger and a proper portion of chips! Can't go wrong here,the food quality is always the same and the family that run this place are lovely! The old man is endearing.

If I'm eating at home, I wouldn't go anywhere else for fish and chips. Always cooked fresh and the the best value of anywhere I've been. Gorgeous!

The real truth is its actually the one chippy you do wanna go to there is no other english chip shop in the area as a good as this he does not get egnough credit the food is so cheap its unreal is it tasy oh yes chips curry sauce and a cheese burger £2.80 COME ON AND ITS A FULL CARTON NOT A DRIBBLE LIKE EVERY ELSE.so please do not be put off by the decorating it does need work u agree but that doesent alter the food taste freindly staff 100 percent respect to nikkis my favorate in the whole area

This has gone from "actually pretty damn good" (and multiple visits) to "not very nice at all" in the space of about 6 months! What's happened to your batter, Nicky's? Not good!..and an oily aftertaste. Not sure if I'll be buying from there again now, sadly.

Had a small chips and battered sausage for my little daughter and she loved it..one very happy 7 year old...Will visit again soon..

Very good food for a low cost, the fish and burgers are very nice, unfortunately because it's very popular there can be long queues.

I’ve used this place many times. The food is very good and they have a good rating. Most is cooked to order. They do cook a few Cod a few minutes in advance, so people don’t need to wait. The menu is okay for a chip shop with plenty of choice. They have a 5 for food hygiene rating. The decor is clean but outdated, so it doesn’t look like anything special. Well worth a visit. The only down side is the older gent on the till, he often gets things wrong, but the others will put him right. I guess he’s related and just trying to do his best. He adds a bit of charm and fun, so no issues.

Keep visiting for more.. Good food.. Good menu and plenty to choose from.. A must visit if passing..

So we fancied fish and chips and decided to try Nikky's and I am so glad we did. £3.80 for cod and chips.....Being my sceptical self I'm stood there thinking the portions must be tiny for that price but how wrong I was! The fish was large and quite honestly one portion of chips is enough for two people easily. The staff were lovely and the food is quite simply yummy. I fed 4 people with drinks for under 15 quid which is less than McDonalds and the food is much nicer. If you are in the area make a bee line for this place and you will not be disappointed.

Went in here tonight for a quick snack.. Ordered 2 off there burgers.. Really impressed.. Will visit again soon.. Decent prices, good quality.. Win Win...

lovely owners , a traditional fish and chip shop offering all your favourites , very good competative prices , very busy on a Friday so you may have to queue but it clears pretty quick ! we love to get our fish and chips then wizz round the corner to Paignton sea front and eat them its the best ! go here you wont be disappointed !

I can thoroughly recommend Nikky's as the best quality & value I have found in Torbay. Generous portions and soft chips along with excellent fish freshly cooked. I now always go there in preference to any other's I have tried, as not only is the quality & value excellent, but the service friendly and speedy also. I try to go there once a week generally.

I have had a home just about three blocks away from Nikky's for years. It has been by far my favorite chip shop in all of England. The greek family that run the place are always great to entertain for a little banter at the counter and make you feel like you're part of the family. Nothing fancy about the Fish and Chips and it is for sure a take-away restaurant, but the price is so incredibly cheap I have often wondered how they keep the doors open for business. Well, the line outside the door on most nights tells you how I suppose. Nikky's is only opened for Lunch for two hours and then dinner until they run out of customers around 9pm.

Little Gem. Have been visiting here for a while now and always forget to review the place. Amazing food at practically giveaway prices. Fed four adults for £13.10 and three of us had cod and chips. Fish was white, no bones and melted in your mouth, batter was perfect in my opinion too light but crisp. Not to greasy but not dry either, just right. Have never had a problem with service either, always fast and efficient. Give it a go, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Greasy and very disappointing. The batter on the fish was thick and soggy and greasy like the chips. I don't think the oil used was particularly fresh. I couldn't give more than one star because the service was poor as well - the man serving was pretty rude and just grunts at you.

Had a meal from here the other day.. Was very impressed with the food and so was the family... A must try for any fish and chip lover.. And very good prices...

This is the best fish and chips in Paignton !!! Lovely family run little chop shop very fresh food.Clean inside no cafe.just take away but do give them a try their food is lush. Cod fair sizes and chip portions very good indeed.

Found this fantastic small fish and chip shop on our hunt for tea. It's a small family run chip shop, and the staff were lovely and friendly. Homemade fishcakes which were fantastic and really tasty, and a great price. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

I have never in my life been to somewhere so hideous. Rude staff, weird set up for a fish and chip shop.. Plants with one leaf for sale and pictures from an 70's movie! Staff all over the place (they had no idea) what they were doing. I can't review the food as we binned it! It smelt so bad we just couldn't eat!

The food was stunning and extremely good for the price. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Great fish and chips
