Toro’s Steakhouse in Luton

I am currently at the hospital because l has food poisining from having yeaterday a surf and turf steak meal at toro's

We were a group of 9 we all chose the Toros special sirloin steak. We could choose our toppings sauces and way of cooking. The flavors were really infused tender meat big portions lovely ambience. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

This place has greatly improved, keep up the good work.

Nothing special, only reason it tastes nice is because of butter / cheese and if it's not that then it's just spice I also felt uncomfortable as there is a space form prayer in the basement right in between all the dining tables

Food was good but staff was mostly young people and not bothered much about customers as it was my sister’s birthday dinner . Requested staff but staff didn’t put efforts to bring out cake. Sad experience for me

Lovely food very generous servings, good ordering method with a Bitton in each table.

Staying overnight in Luton and my partner picked Torros for us to go and eat as it looked to serve what we would both like, and he wasn't wrong. The vibe was perfect the staff were great and the good was beyond expectation especially for the price. Would definitely recommend and would love to visit again

Had a very nice steak with gravy(wish it could have been more spicy) and coleslaw on the side.It was sizzling and juicy from inside. Appropriately cooked and served. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Price wise not heavy on your wallet. Will recommend anyone who wants to have a nice steak in Luton.

Visited on a recommendation for the 1st time, we were a Party of 16 people, the food and service were excellent, all 16 meals came out together and piping hot, our server Aylena was amazing, nothing was too much , very good value for money , generous portions. Will be back.

I was on my own at this restaurant, the service was perfect, but the food was terrible in so many aspects, i order medium rare lamb stake and fried calamari , the calamari were ok , but the stake was ok in the beginning even tho you couldn’t taste the flavour of the lamb and it was medium well done due to its thinness , the vegetables were frozen once , the carrots tasted like plastic and the chips were mushy . But asap as i arrived home after 30 min i had to go to the toilet to throw up .

I do not recommend burgers, the meat is of very poor quality. I definitely won't come back here.

I love Stake, and they did a great job with my lamb stake. Staff is friendly but sitting was not very comfortable. I'll highly recommend Toro's stakehouse to stake lovers.

Usually toros steak are always well-done even when I wanted medium rare, but this time the steak was actually medium rare, cooked to perfection, and was really really tasty, so succulent and perfect, the brownie sizzler seems not good this time, looks like a shop bought brownie and put it in the sizzler with chocolate sauce around it, so that wasn't good as compared to last time, the waitress seems tired/annoyed but steak was good I love that, the bigger seems like the party was just those shop bought thin ones, not much taste to it but it's a bit or a miss.

Excellent service and freshly made, delicious food. The burgers were perfectly cooked yet super juicy, and the gherkin slices complemented them perfectly!

My friend and I got really bad food poisoning after eating there and spent nearly the whole weekend going back and forth to the toilet. I contacted them to complain and got ignored, and finally got a long email essay on how professional and amazing the restaurant is. I ate the chocolate cookie dough that tasted off and had to pay for it with my health. The manager finally after broken promises, sent a long generic email they probably send to all customers, how they have investigated the 13 ingredients and how their chefs are aiming to earn michellin stars, which I believe is untrue, also inviting me to watch them cook, why? After I contacted numerous times asking for a refund, instead of replying promptly to my emails, I get an essay and an invitation. An apology and a refund would have been more than enough the first time I contacted them. I finally got my money back after 2 weeks of back-and-forth contact with them. We initially wanted to only raise the concern to the restaurant for their attention to improve their service and refund us, which is our full legal right when having food poisoning. However, we had to chase them numerous times for them to respond, the manager did not even bother doing the investigation until 3 days later, when I chased and he said he still yet to go to the restaurant and do the investigation and will contact me the following day. How many more people could've had food poisoning during this time till an investigation is done??! Even then that was false promise and we didn't get a response until we chased multiple times, 10 days after our visit and complaint!! When my friend left her review after this experience of false promises and all the chasing we had to do to finally get a response and issue a refund 10 days later, the manager accused us of lying! Our communication with this restaurant clearly shows the carelessness of not bothering doing the investigation immediately and the email that was finally sent to us after all the chasing we had to do and all the false promised made. I do not recommend this place and will never eat there again.

Not fresh food and unprofessional. The place has become worse than when they opened. Had dinner there with a friend Saturday evening and the next day we both had stomach issues such as diarrhea, it was odd as my friend had the dessert and me steak and mash, however, our food was ready as soon as we ordered which we found really strange. We contacted the restaurant soon after and the manager was not responding as he should to our emails, it took them more than 20 days later for us to get a refund after we threatened to sue them, and they still denied any involvement in our food poisoning as they found it odd we both could get sick. Please avoid this place!

Great food ,great Communication

Have been meaning to try them for a long time and finally did last night. The food was beyound expectations and the portions were so big. We couldnt finish the food. The steaks were cooked to perfection (was tender and juicy) and loved the flavours as well. The food was sizzling hot. Even the service was good nothing to complain about. HMC certified and even had a prayer corner which was very convenient. Wish i had tried them earlier. prices were reasonable too. The best place for halal steak lovers.

Toro’s luton was really good. Steak was one of best i ever had portion was more then enough. Service was good stuff was really polite and professional. Definitely recommend.

Medium- rare sirloin steak was perfect. All the meat was tender; loved the buffalo wings, garlic parmesan chicken, sizzlers medium Toro’s special and medium rib eye steak. All the flavours were spot on! True to their branding, definitely the best steak house in luton. Highly recommend! The staff is very friendly too!

I really like Toro’s in Luton. It’s my favourite place for steaks 😋 whenever I want to treat me, my husband and my family, I just go there. Their chicken steaks are love 😍 as I am not fond of meat, i always order chicken and it’s really very delicious. 10/10 for their services.

Steak is paper thin and incorrectly cooked, colour of the meat is tragic, chips soggy. Awful food.

Atmosphere was decent, 90% packed for iftar, service was 10/10 took our orders before arrival and table was ready was a swift service and have prayer facilities. Order was spot on for 10 people. Food you ask? Well, steak was cooked to the correct level yes but pasta was basically a tomato pasta not very tasty and chips well were chips I got the toro’s special yet there was nothing special about it, my garlic mushroom sauce tasted sour’ish would I go again probably not, would I recommend you to go? If you’re travelling from far and would like somewhere reliable that will keep a table for you and good service yeah go if you’re a local I think you’d have better options…

Everything was amazing. We came here to break our fast and our food arrived over 15minutes early even after we had been talking via message before.

Lovely steak restaurant I will attend again food was amazing g and prices were reasonable no alcohol as its a Halal restaurant. Small children are permitted but beware there are steak knives and hot sizzling plates o dining ta less so please watch your small people. Nevertheless, I went with two 4yo and all was well. Restaurant was busy on a Saturday night but service was fast and food was exactly what we ordered. I will 100% be going again

Went here a couple of weeks ago after a few friends recommended the place. I wasn’t sure how it would be, but now very happy I went. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere downstairs was very relaxed. Above all, the customer service was exceptional, the waiter checked in on us and made sure we were happy with our food. I would highly recommend the T-bone steak, with rice and mash. For dessert, I had the sizzling brownie which was also very tasty.

Most underrated place trust me i was ignoring this place for so long but that was my mistake they have all the ingredients to excel in this Restuarant business.

The food was absolutely amazing. We were first sat downstairs but requested that they move upstairs as we found the atmosphere was better there. They were very kind. Will come again.

Absolutely love this place, it’s one of mine and my husband’s favourite places to eat. The meat is always perfect and the presentation is amazing. The sides are very tasty too! The service is always very nice and quick and the restaurant is beautifully decorated.

I recently dined at Toros Steakhouse and unfortunately had an unpleasant experience. I discovered hair in both my prawns starter and main course, which left me utterly disgusted. Although they replaced the dishes with fresh ones, the overall incident marred my dining experience. The compensation offered was only a 10% discount on the order, which seemed inadequate given the nature of the issue. Disappointed with the lack of a more substantial resolution to such a hygiene concern.

Absolutely rubbish, totally waste of money, food has no taste, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, just go to a better restaurant, they said we don’t sell Coca-Cola because of Israel but then serving cola diet.

Had a delicious Toros special steak meal here with some friends on Friday evening. I have dined at this establishment a number of times and highly recommend it for it’s tender juicy steaks, excellent service and family friendly atmosphere.

Bought a taster platter and had a feel of the quality of what Toro offers. Wonderful gourmet cuisine cooked delicately to perfection. I loved the pulled meat in the beef cigars it was moist and hearty. The ribs were also marinaded well with flavour. It was a little too rare for me but I did enjoy the flavours and that which was medium cooked to taste. I also liked the delicate taste of the calimari and the flash cook of the chicken wings. The mushroom dip was smooth in texture, not too thick I would consider going again. Customer service was very polite. Atmosphere at the time was calm and relaxing not too busy. Service was quick

Sitting arrangements are great better than Toro's in Harrow, but food was below average.

Amazing beef and lamb steak, but will prefer to try beef steak from the hotel. Hotel service is also nice and friendly.

Great food and honestly one of the better steaks had in a while. Really enjoyed the beef cigar starter and the sauce that came with it! Very busy, better to call and make a reservation to avoid waiting. If it’s possible, pay with cash!

I went with two of my friends last night and he all had a delectable experience. We didn’t have to wait that long for our food and when we received our food it arrived of sizzlers. They had buzzers on their tables for ordering and paying which made our experience very efficient. An all round 10/10 place.

I went with alot of expectations as I was recommended by 2 friends, more like enemies coming to think about it lol I told staff members I've travelled over a hour for this steak so do your best. They said they will, They brought out our food quick, not on sizzlers as this was better apparently. Anyway fod came out and was laughable to be honest. The chips were bland, the steak was warm not hot, the lettuce they gave us was than a leaf from the lettuce, and by verbatim the manager said "it's from decoration purposes". Im paying to eat it not look good on my plate. With that I also got 2 yes 2 peas lol. There was 2 people present at the time which I should've known then not to eat here however ever the mocktails and daiquiri were very nice. I'd rather go to the Leicester branch and the best Toros franchise is in Liverpool.

Lovely decor and the staff were lovely but not much steak we had the sizzler and the food was burnt at the bottom as it was so hot.

Ambiance was very good and Staff was really friendly and responsive but the food did not taste good. We ordered steak and burger but none of them tasted well. Burger was relatively better than the steak but overall the food was terrible. Only good thing we had were fries and Mojito It costed between £60-70 for two people but unfortunately it was a waste of money and time.

Poor presentation of food makes it difficult to eat and enjoy. Not good idea to stack all your side dishes on the small hot metal sizzler and then place the steak on top.

Food was terrible, I burnt my mouth several times, they put my rice and vegetables at the bottom of the sizzler and it all burnt by the time I got to it , who even does that? Very disappointed because the place always looks busy … what a shame

Staff is amazing and the food is ok but there are many things that pull it down. I love sizzlers, and theirs wasn't bad but they added the dressing at the bottom of the sizzler and the meat on top. The result was burnt onions and burnt fries. Meat was very good but it should come on the sizzler with dressing and fries on the side. The other problem was the music. It was a bit loud and very unfitting for a steakhouse. But the biggest offender for me was a lack of wine. In my opinion a good steak like theirs must absolutely be complemented with a nice full bodied red wine.

It was a very nice and pleasant place. A hidden gem. The portions were gigantic. The waitress said that it might take some time for the kitchen to prepare our dishes, so we ordered a shared platter for starters and sweet potatoes, which were loaded. I The waiting time was normal, the kitchen did their best 👌. When the mains arrived we were already full, but we tried everything, tasty, delicious and hot.The staff was polite and friendly, they made us feel comfortable 😀 😊. The prices were good too, especially for the quantities. Full marks Toro!

This is a good place to eat. Our group went in on a Friday night. I had the 48-day dry aged steak, which tasted great. However, it was unevenly cooked, so some bits were great, and some were overcooked and thus chewy. The general view was that the food was decent but we've all had better. But not a bad choice and certainly better than Steak Out.

Absolutely disgusting food, falsely advertised, chicken was literally inedible as i couldn't bite into it. Chips were cold, onion rings tasted like fish🤢 i asked for mild chicken, instead got a spicy peri peri. Definitely order food from here if you want to be disappointed.
