Torch in Brent

What a terrible experience, the lady that was serving myself and my friend was rude, I asked for a bottle of coke and she gave me a glass of the machine stuff. When I said to her, I asked for a bottle of coke. The lady told me, " I didn't ask for that." I asked for a full English with scrambled eggs. I received sunny, sided, fried eggs. Another lady later informed me they only do fried eggs. Overall, my experience was poor.

Went before the cup semi was decent

New to the area and found this great pub. Great food. Great drinks and excellent prices. Consider yourself my local !!

Way too expensive for a so so pub

Just went for drinks and to watch the football on the screens. Parking is good to the rear. Spacious venue and great for for viewings sports.

Best time for family and friends to chill

This is our first time dining here and it has exceeded our expectations. The ambiance is pleasant and the food is reasonably priced, yet the quality is not compromised. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent value on meals. Staff were very polite and very helpful. Pub had a great atmosphere. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

Since the refurbishment the main pub area and exterior is on point and welcoming. 2 staff members who have been there for around 18 years are extremely friendly and very professional. Big shout out to Cvety and Paulina. Updated 2024 - The Torch and their established team go from strength to strength. Food is super tasty and is great value. Always have the best football showing on multiple screens. Service is fast and professional. Big shout out as well to Ella - a true superstar

Visited The Torch today for a quick pint (O have had food here in the past couple of weeks). Bar staff are always pleasant and welcoming. Drinks are good and food is usually okay for the level of pub food. I usually eat from the ‘finger food’ or sharing parts of the menu and am always satisfied. The pub itself is a little rundown looking on the outside and but is clean inside. The gents toilets can be tricky to navigate though. All in all, a decent pub for a couple of drinks.

This is my favourite place to meet up with my colleagues as the atmosphere is amazing, staff is brilliant, especially Paulina and other ladies. Paulina also has amazing voice and when it comes to karaoke - shes the one to entertain the guests. Kitchen stuff is brilliant and the boys, I don't know their names but every one is doing their best, as a regular customer I can only praise them with what they have to put up with. Keep it up guys, you are superb!

very unpleasant service, the order was given incorrectly when trying to explain the situation, they jumped on us, they tried to convince us that we made mistakes in understanding English, the lady was unpleasant and the waiter was aggressive

A very nice pub with good service

I really enjoyed my meal at the torch pub staff very pleasant and helpful and friendly and great value for money and could of eaten for cheaper. It's worth checking the torch out even if you are going to Wembley arena and stadium of course it's going to be busy on event days but when I went it wasn't to busy

I was there once and the toilets smell just like men's toilets, now it was much nicer and I believe they have new people working at the front area. Keep it up, Clean toilets are good for everyone.

It is a wonderful place to eat bar grilled food. Very tasty.

ridiculous prices on a match night

Overpriced beer because football was on £7.50 a pint and plastic glasses. Not impressed with extortionate prices and the pub shut at 7 ,pm .

A great place to visit and has a great atmosphere and agreat end to a great day.. and a venue which we have visited after every NFL game.. a tradition we intend to continue with

The food was priced perfectly for what you got. The food even though cost effective was not reflectove of the taste. My Sirloin steak was cooked to medium rare perfection and come with the usual suspects. My partner had to give the Chick n Mix a go which she thoroughly enjoyed. Over all a great experience and lively atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks. Should you find yourself at wembley park station come out do a left and walk over the bridge until YOU get to the TORCH.

Typical British pub, pob food wasn't too bad really I enjoyed my cider and the atmosphere.

Weds-Fri are always hits with live music and open mic, and these generally are fun to attend. Meeting people of different views and outlooks. Enjoyed the peace and tranquility of staying there as guests in residence, It's a s peaceful and quiet as the cemetery behind it; LOL

Nice classic UK pub, just around the corner of Wembley stadium. Good beer, sport games in TV. Cool to stop by for a beer after some game

The pub wasn't that crowded but there was a scarcity of staff. We ended up clearing a table ourselves to be able to sit down, which was then left uncleared for the rest of our stay (38 minutes). It was easy to get served and the drinks were well prepared, clean glasses etc. I would comment about the food but I was actually refused service because a staff member (at 8:50pm), and then the duty manager (8:53pm), told us that they were not prepared to serve a party of eight ten minutes before service ended at 9:00pm. If it wasn't bad enough to demonstrate miserable customer service standards, in stating a deadline and then not sticking to it, despite the three trips to the bar for drinks and to query the refusal to take our food order, at no point did a staff member mention that my vehicle had to be registered to qualify for the two hours free parking. I saw no signage at the time and left soon after. I have subsequently been stung for a £170 fine - for spending £30 on drinks and parking for 38 minutes in this pub.

Being a life long Wembley born resident, I’ve seen “The Torch” passed on from owner and management 3 times (that I know about). (FYI I’m 80s born) What it is today I believe is what it set out to be from first establishment. It caters for its regulars, locals, and old schoolers with the respect they deserve, it caters for the visitors that come with the events that Wembley hosts, and caters for them too with respect, good food, good service and good old fashioned pub like environment. More so, worth a worthy mention, the staff although have changed somewhat, those staff that have stuck with it 5-8years+ have remained true and dedicated, and worthy of its stature. It is they whom make it what it is today. All due credit to Jake and the rest of the clan. I can come as a noisy local hooligan, I can come as a family orientated customer, whatever I come, they handle me right, they provide service beyond measure, and they always put you first. I have nothing but love for you. Xxx

Travelled down from Glasgow to London for a wee break,stopped here for food,very disappointed in the whole experience,first 2 things we tried to order were not on that day so order other things some of the chicken was not cooked it was raw so we left it,sat on for a couple of drinks only to return home to be hit with a £100 parking charge for parking at the back of the place,so much for spending money on food and drink here,I would avoid at all costs left a very bitter taste.

Came on a non match day. Although it looks gotty outside is nice inside with very friendly/helpful staff. Cheap food with big portions. Has a function room and parking round the back. Has lots of happy regulars

Great place to go before and after a trip to Wembley Stadium

Great atmosphere at this family-friendly Greene King pub. There is a huge food offering with their 'grill menu, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. There is also a large variety of drinks. They have a student discount which is also helpful. A very short walk from Wembley Park Station so very convenient location. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great, with good music playing too. The only issue was the toilets. They needed cleaning and were flooded and dirty.

Went here with a group of 8 on a Tuesday evening. We checked when food was being served until and we were told 9pm. Our group arrived in two batches, the first part of our group just after 8pm, and the second part of the group just after 8:30pm. At no point were we seated or approached by staff. All the large tables were full of uncleared plates and glasses, so we took a table and cleared the mess away ourselves. No-one offered to take our orders, despite the fact that we were all holding menus for quite some time. At 8:53pm we asked at the bar of someone would please take our order and we were told it was too late for such a large group (there were 8 of us, but still...). There was some function going on out back, but the pub / lounge area was not so busy, so the lack of interest from staff was a bit hard to understand. If someone had taken a moment to ask if we were OK, we could have found out a lot sooner that food was not an option. We ended up leaving after 9pm and made our way to another place where we were immediately greeted and seated, and served in exactly the way you would expect.

This place is great for some drinks and English food, staff were friendly and willing to help with a smile. The ambience was good to relax.

Great pub to go to before games at Wembley stadium, has a decent beer selection (inc Heineken) and does a very cheap match day burger and chips type menu which is about £7, bargain for London!…only let down is not the fault of the pub but Brent council who imposes a ridiculous last orders around 1hr15 before kick off time, so slow clap for the council and its lack of support for local business, for shame Brent council!

Great atmosphere and really quick service with bars just about every nook an cranny! Brilliant pre wembley stop off!

I know pubs need helping out, but a joke to pay £7.50 for a pint in a plastic glass. It was actually cheaper to buy a pint in Wembley stadium.

All for supporting pubs during these times but having done Wembley on Saturday and discovering it's actually cheaper to drink inside the ground rather than here it does feel a bit dirty.

Whilst this is not a pub I’d take my wife to, it does provide the perfect drinking venue ahead of games at Wembley. The atmosphere was superb albeit the cost of a pint was ridiculous.

Very busy on a matchday toilets cant cope - too many stewards spoil it they should be made to do something useful like collecting glasses or cleaning toilets instead of standing in groups doing nothing then insisting everyone drinks up immediately when they've just bought a pint at 3 o'clock

The drinks are a good price but there were fly’s in the venue and the lasagne was horrible

It's becoming my favourite pub. I like that they have Peroni on the tap, but also the fact they have a pool table, darts and also allow dogs in. I don't have a dog, but there's something about dogs being in a pub that brings back oldskool memories. Great place. I'll try pursuade my mate to go every weekend. Could do with the table being £1 and not £1.50, that's quite expensive for a table in a pub as that's the same price for a table in a typical arcade with larger and better tables. I'll still enjoy, though. Cheers 👍

Got a parking penalty ticket (£100 or £60 paying early) after having a meal in the pub. No clear signs that the car park isn’t free and the the staff never asked for car registration number. Total rip off. Will never visit again.

3 stars because the staff were really nice and attentive. In reality 1 star as despite being a Greene King pub, no real ales and moreover despite a website that advertised roast dinners at a very reasonable £8.49 the pub had stopped doing them over 7 months ago. Spoilt my Sunday!!

Visited here before the Pappa Johns final at Wembley. We had to queue for around 40 minutes to get in. They were letting one in one out but not very well I have to say. We watched a number of people leave for them not to allow the equivalent number in which was frustrating. Once inside, the place is a bit tired but the drinks were ok. Prices were c£7 a pint which I assume were increased for match day. Nobody really likes paying that much for a pint in a plastic cup but I guess that’s supply and demand! Unfortunately there are not many options pre game for a pint and so if you want a drink before the game, you don’t really have much choice other than to queue and pay an extortionate amount for a drink.

This is a traditional pub… nothing to look at from the outside and easy to judge. However the staff here are GREAT! The food is very good value, the decor a little tired but they have all that you need. Did I mention the staff! Really friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. We really felt part of it all, even though we were dar From home. Thank you so much x

This place is great. The staff are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The food and drink is very good value with a good selection on the menu. There are plenty of tables and it's not to cramped. The atmosphere is friendly and there were big TVs but the volume was down allowing for conversation. Would definitely recommend this place to families like we had when visited with.

Clean, staff very friendly, easy to get served. Only burgers on sale as there was a game on, chicken burger spot on and cheese burgers spot on. Went to England game. Went in for a few pints before we walked round the corner to Wembley. Would recommend to anyone.

Decent place to go pre an England game.

Visited on a Saturday evening, had food and drinks. The bar was very busy, as expected for a Saturday evening, however we were able to get a table and enjoy our meal. The staff were attentive and swift on delivering our food order and cleaning away finished plates. They were friendly too! The food was tasty and came very promptly, great service. Prices were reasonable as to be expected from a Green King chain. Was a nice pub and one to return.
