Absolutely awful experience which is a shame as we have had such good experiences with tops margate. We used the tops app as usual and after an hour the pizzas didn’t come, we decided to drive to the shop and when we turned up the only man serving said they were closed, while serving another customer, we then said we ordered and he said he hadn’t received an order. He then magically found said order and proceeded to tell us off for ordering, he reluctantly made our food, didn’t offer any compensation for how rude he was and the almost 2 hour wait for our food. He then proceeded to tell us off again for ordering, I just requested he gave us our food which he was keeping from us in order to tell us off and we left. The food was nice however all 4 people who ate the pizza have become very ill and have suspected food poisoning.

Honestly the worst pizza I have ever had, it's pretty much just bread with some cheese and pepperoni on. Over cooked almost rock hard with next to no sauce and I mean no sauce on it. Shop was like walking into a cave dark and gloomy, never again absolute joke of a pizza shop. Not to mention there deep pan looked like it had been ran over by a steam roller so hardly a deep pan.

I have been an avid tops pizza orderer for a year. Their cookies immaculate…when they come. Today, after a really long hard month working my bum off at university I order some cookies as a sweet treat, as a pick me up. Now, in recent times, tops pizza has often cancelled on me. This has been upsetting to see however…nothing of what was to come today. The lovely uber eats man looked confused when he arrived at the door, and for good reason. He handed me a plastic bag, yes a plastic bag, not the cardboard box that the cookies would usually arrive in. So, to my disappointment, i opened up the plastic and i see 6 brownies but wait there’s more they were cold brownies, in the plastic wrap. Now, i love a brownie as much as the next person BUT do these brownies compare to the gorgeous gorgeous tops pizza cookies. no. no they don’t. Atleast cancel my order. Atleast. I am fed up. Tops pizza i loved u. LOVED. I AM HEARTBROKEN.

if you want your food, go in and order 😹😹ive never online/phone ordered from here as its much cheaper to go in and buy it in person, to stop disappointment, do the same. the food is good, lots of selection for the pizzas. prices are good too. 3.99 for a small if i remember correctly, 6.99 for a medium or large (cheeky but of course you'll go for the large.) quick service, usually about 10-15 minutes if there arent other orders ahead of urs. dont bother with the wings here, breading is okay but the chicken quality is rubbish. again, ive only ever gone in and gotten food so i cant speak for their delivery, if ur far from the building i would say go to another place..

First time ordering, but will not order again, shame as herd good stuff bout them, both pizza's ordered tasted as though the dough was stale, and the pineapple tasted like alchole so was fermented

I was a few minutes late pizza was over cooked barely any toppings which meant half of it was bare worst pizza ever including value ones from asda if I had looked before I drove home I would have returned it

I ordered a large pizza for £18.99 and received only received a 12 inch pizza. Within the same order they forgot my chicken wings and when I rang them to discuss the issue they just hung up on me. Overall terrible food and even worse customer service. DO NOT EAT HERE

I got the vegetarian pizza and as it was late (10 minutes, although it only gives me the option to put 5) it turned up almost cold and with barely any vegetables on. Wish I’d got it from somewhere else.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced and to top it off they were nothing but rude about the matter! I ordered a pizza meal deal which consisted of hot vegetarian pizza with extra chicken, with chicken dippers and a side of coleslaw. Half an hour after ordering the store called me and told me we have no coleslaw and asked if I'd like a substitute. I agreed and said potato wedges, I then asked how much longer will the delivery take the guy said 10-15 mins. I thanked them and hung up. 30mins later and still no food! I was aware they used their own drivers to deliver orders from UberEats and I phoned them back they said they don't know the guys should be here soon. He wasn't. Eventually the food arrived! Just after 7pm. The food was cold, there was no chicken on the pizza either. I phoned them back they said you ordered wedges which is more expensive than coleslaw so it's not a big deal. It is a big deal when I have a child who was looking forward to a nice hot pizza with the toppings she chose and having to wait over an hour! The guy on the phone goes I am very busy and hung up! Never again. They were great when they first opened but now they don't care. Food is only half decent if you go to the store and maybe order from them.

I ordered a pizza on Saturday night, no pizza arrived. I have emailed two different addresses and tweeted - no response! I want my £20 back it’s literally theft which is illegal!

My items were delivered to the wrong address after telling me that he had left them at my door. I called him and told him he had left them at the wrong address and he hung up. I kept calling with no joy and the shop was ignoring my calls when I was calling them to inform them. I had to walk around in the early hours to find my order which was down a completely different road which is a 5 minute walk from me. Delivery driver I spoke to was rude and useless The food was cold so that’s gone in the bin so thanks topps pizza for being a complete waste of time and money. Completely Useless DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!

I ordered 2 two pizzas, They arrived however one was wrong and the other was the same and not the toppings i asked for. I rang the company and they said they had tried to ring me twice to say they didnt have the ingredients I asked for. ( I dont have ANY missed calls from them) so they gave me ingredients which Im allergic to. I told them im unable to eat what they gave me and said they couldnt do andything. I then repeatedly said i couldnt eat it, they then said well make another. In the end I got a pizza however and didnt appreciate the attitude from the person on the phone nor them accusing me of not picking up the phone even though I don't have any missed calls. I wont be ordering from here again

Didn’t turn up at all terrible customer service another order was placed on another account and then the manager rung and tried to say our address didn’t exist then we had another phone call from an employee explaining the manager is in a bad mood and the order will be on its way the other order hasn’t arrived almost three hours later

Ordered at 23:45, estimated delivery 12:35.... 12:15 driver on his way.. I phoned the restaurant at 01:00 no answers so I request update through app whis estimates 2am delivery.. 2:10 it arrives... too late for me to eat so its still on the side.. request a refund for poor service £3 refund 🤣 what a joke .

Driver didn’t come to the door beeped in the car park at 4 in the morning, started being rude at my girlfriend and also drove to the wrong car park and started shouting + the pizza base is uncooked and the chicken is disgusting. Don’t order from here

Ok. They forgot the drink. Basically refused to get it but said the would deliver following evening. Of course they did not. Paid for extra jalapeño on pizza but not included and hardly any tomato used in sauce on base. So dry I had to use ketchup.

I was sent coleslaw when I ordered a salad, I called to ask what happened and was informed the manager said 'the salad has run out, just send coleslaw' very rude and unprofessional. I don't eat coleslaw and you're incredibly rude and useless

They accepted the order . Then said that the food is with me on the just eat app then said they will update the app to say food not yet arrived . They didn’t so they lied about that. It is now 4 .10am and still don’t have the food was supposed to be here at 3.10 am This is not acceptable I am afraid and was waiting for the food for so long and was about to go sleep after a Night Shift . This caused stress .

The driver waited outside in a car and expected me to go out in the middle of the night to retrieve my food, after he had come 30 minutes late. I would not usually mind meeting the driver outside, but it was the middle of the night and he had not even stopped close to my door, which I found weird.

My Order was placed at ~01:37, it was accepted for delivery between 02:35/55. I called the restaurant at ~03:10, as I was hungry after finishing a long shift. with being told it was “out for delivery” and would be with me soon. I understood being 15 minutes journey by car and delays happen, so waited for it in due course. Another 25/30 minutes passed, called again; was told delivery will be in 10/15 minutes. I Waited until it arrived at ~04:00 , I received no reason for the continued delays. From the staff or driver. The pizza itself had very little topping despite the £1.25+ for each additional topping of chicken, red onion and jalapeños. Understandable it was a Saturday night and they were perhaps busier and tired. But the value for money and service was disappointing

The food was good however we ordered 2 red bulls and I got only 1 and i didnt even get my money back regards to the lost redbull that delivery guy said they haven't given him, recently Tops has been disappointing

Like several times before this company sends out morons who can’t read English with a sign politely asking people who are delivering “take-away leaflets” to NOT DELIVER them to my house in other words do not leave them on the floor of my driveway or put in my letterbox. I will not buy from takeaways in another town from me especially a silly kebab shop. Please teach your employees English and obey any polite instructions if you want to deliver your leaflets.

Marked my order as 'on the way' and ran way over the ETA. When i phoned to ask what was going on, they said they'd need to arrange a driver. Then on the next call they said it would only be 10mins. 10 mins later, i demanded a refund that I'm not confident they'll honour since they seem to have problems with the truth and doing the right thing. do not order from here . I don't usually buy take aways being a single mother. tonight I ordered 3 pizzas as a treat . they came late but I didn't mind as had two very hungry boys . one pizza mine was as I ordered. my boys pizzas was not what we had ordered. Food was 2 hours late. Also the order was incorrect received wrong pizza. Toppings on pizza was wrong and I paid for large pizza but they sent out a medium size. I should be refunded for this?

Online tracker was useless, went from being with the delivery driver to just finished an hour before it showed up, no indication of where it was or how long it'd be. The warm food was cold by the time it arrived. The guy tried to give some lame excuse about going to the wrong address but this has happened before for other addresses and we received no phone calls.

Really disappointed with the sturry road branch. There's a big bright sign in the window stating pizza sizes and prices and when you go in and order was told, the sign is well out of date and price is £16 and not £10. Why?! Sort it out.

Order status set as delivered after delivery window. I called restaurant to ask where my order was. Guy on the phone was rude. Said the driver had been at my door for 20 minutes but when he put me through to the driver, he said he hadn’t managed to find my address. I asked him why he hadn’t tried to call and he said he’d given me 4 missed calls. I had received no missed calls and my phone was ringing when I tried on another phone. Horrible service!! You don't get many updates. You get told your food is on the way but no tracking so you've got to just idle and wait. I have also frequently given clear instructions on where my property is and described it but every time I have ordered from there, they always go to the wrong place or go right past then say they can't find it. Food isn't that great either, too salty amd lukewarm
