Always excellent food and service

Food gone downhill recently. Shame, as used to be half decent. I doubt anything here is freshly cooked. It all tastes like it’s pre cooked and just tossed in a greasy wok. The rice is awful. Atmosphere gets 3 stars but not really relevant as it’s a takeaway. Service is good.

Definitely some of the best Chinese food I've had! Great tasting food, very good sized portions and quick service. They offer delivery within a certain area, but it's easy access for pick up too.

The person serving me had some ok english skills ao we had a nice conversation but then ahe atarted yelling at her child and onc i ordered my food ahe said to the chef " this idiot wants chips" and so on she then said it will tale 45 minutes in the end i got my food an it was very cold and half the order was missin

I didn’t think it was possible for chips with curry sauce to be terrible. The curry sauce was like gelatine and some of the chips weren’t even cooked. I also thought £7 for chips and dip was a bit dear. Never eating here again.

There chicken was not tuff it was rubbery

Very disappointing, the worst Chinese meal we have ever had. Chicken was tough and pretty much inedible! The whole thing was utterly tasteless too. Will never use again!

Food was awful. Ordered chowmein and the meat was hard, couldn’t eat it and the chips were so old I think they were just warmed up again hard and chewing. What a waste of money.. So disappointing after a long journey to Oxford we were looking forward to a nice Chinese. Never going here again 😢

Never had such an awful meal , it was going to take 45 minutes to arrive actually came 12 minutes later , chips were inedible so threw them out and meal was disgraceful , will never order from Top Wok again

Ordered a set menu last night. At 1800. The food did not arrive until 1940. The food arrived semi warm. And after eating it. We both became ill. And it was the only thing that we had eaten that day. The food quality was very poor. This will be reported to the council and also the food hygiene service. I will be never using this take away again.

Absolutely disgusting! Waited nearly 2 hours for delivery, when it arrived it was cold and half the order missing! Paid £5.00 for delivery, will never order from them again.

The food is nasty trust me I wasted 14 pound food was not fresh it’s clear they don’t respect England it’s all about a quick money for these bare face lyres hope they close down soon your better of going to the kebab shop up the road from them and getting a shish way safer. Great food and service...only thing I didn't like is... I ALWAYS PAID £1.50 DEL (AND EVEN SPECIFIED THIS ON THE LEAFLETS)...Yet they have starting charging me more! If this is the case then put it on the leaflets as this is false advertising! (Ps..put it back to what I've always paid...thank you!)

The food wasnt greasy and heavy like some Chinese takeaways. The spices an flavours were perfect. Our order arrived very quickly. Top wok was reasonably priced how ever, the portions sizes were a little small.

Beautiful taste in Chinese but I found the lady a little bit rude maybe just because you're really busy or something I'll let you off this time

Have ordered a delivery, the woman on the phone can’t even take my address right. She definitely told me that the delivery takes about 45 minutes. When I call to check for the delivery , the woman in the phone was rude and speaking broken English. She shouted at me that she told each of her customers that the delivery will takes between 45 mins to an hour which she is lying. I have ordered Sweet and Sour King Prawn but didn’t taste any prawn in it but only the batter , the Tofu taste like it has been frying for many times, it taste really hard and the garlic and chilli chicken wings was so small and there is only five chicken wings in it. Overall the food is tasteless. Will never ever go back again. Very disappointed with the Service and the food.

Disgusting will not order again. Ordered food at 7pm arrived at 8.40. Food cold, chicken balls soggy, egg fried rice tasted the same as plain boiled rice a disaster! Phoned them they sent out another meal and ironically that only took 10 mins to arrive !!!! Most of Food went in the bin as by 9pm, having ordered at 7pm we were no longer bothered to eat !.

When food arrived half was missing. Rang and asked what they would do as simply coming back with the missing good would mean the first lot would no cold. They agreed to resend the whole order. When that arrived half was missing. Got a full refund and we went elsewhere but this all took 2 and a half hours in total and we wanted to go out.

Expensive. Ordered the food and phoned an hour and 15 minutes later to find out food still hadn't left the shop. When I complained they offered 10% off our next delivery!! Awful service. I've also ordered before and revived the wrong dish!! Never hawing them again!

CHECK YOUR BILL TOTAL BEFORE YOU PAY...I saw on the website delivery was £1.50 but were not told the delivery was ACTUALLY £5 extra until I saw the bill.... the food took 1hr 30 mins to arrive (we were told 45 mis) and we were told the delay was because there had been an accident on the ring road which was a LIE... the food was not fresh and the quality was probably good if we received when it was hot but it was cold .... we are 3.5 miles from the shop... We were told that if we wanted our money back to take it back ... we only called to say we were unhappy ... don't worry another customer lost is all average spend £40

The food is great and the service is very fast but its very very pricey.

excellent value. The special chow mein is a class above any other chinese takeaway in oxford. Food is usually delivered quickly and the one time it wasn't I was given a discount for my next meal. I would advise to not order the English dishes as the are pretty terrible here but the chinese food is very good

Curry sauce was disgusting chips was cold and Singapore char main was horrible food was not up to standard at all even the Sausages was cold as well never going back to this place again

We had the Tofu and Yellow Bean, Chicken and Cashew Nuts, (large) Boiled Rice and Singapore Chow Mien - was all super tasty and not all heavy and gloopy like some can be - really tasty. That was more than enough for the two of us, but I managed to polish it off :)

Fast service, always freindly and never fail to deliver the goods. Try the prawn toast !

Been going to top wok for 5 years and just had a take away today (last one was about 2 months ago) which was disgusting. Chips and shredded beef was inedible, I wouldn't have fed it to my dog so that went in the bin. Chips completely dried out and harder than a house brick, shredded beef was like a car tyre sliced into strips then fried in dish water. Also forgot my mini spring rolls. Really gone down hill recently so ill be going elsewhere. Called to complain and was offered "discount next time" unfortunately I'll be going elsewhere from now on. Shame.

We ordered our food at 6.04pm, and didn't receive it till 7.35!! Disgusting! My friend and I had our 4 kids waiting, and when I spoke to them they said it had left ages ago. This was a lie, 3 times I called to see where our food was. Wen it finally arrived the delivery man told me that he just picked this up and that the lady always lies to the customers if the foods left or not. When I disputed the price, one man told me I better cancel my order then, but this is after waiting 15 mins extra already!!! NEVER ORDERING from there again!!!!!

Service in store was poor. Waited for half an hour on an order which should have been done in 10 minutes, only to find it had been sat in a cooler getting cold the whole time I was waiting.

Have never had a problem with the food or delivery. Regularly order from here always get good service and food always arrives on time and hot. It's my favourite Chinese take away
