Worst chip shop I’ve ever used. They didn’t have any bottled coke and gave me a Diet Coke without asking. I don’t drink Diet Coke. The chips are solid and drier than a nun in the Sahara desert, they must’ve been sat on the hot plate for god knows how long, no salt or vinegar at all. Battered sausage was more floppy than a man in the middle of winter in shorts. This was at 7pm, don’t bother with this place

fish had not been cooked today

we ordered '3 southern fried chicken AND chips', TWICE , the chips DIDN'T come in either case, so not an error but deliberate not putting them in, as such we didn't have enough chips for the meal. Really poor. service. have used consistently for years.

This place definitely over charges for the quality of food, £6 in total for a sausage and vegetable spring roll, sausage didn't taste right and was dry, the spring was awful, burnt in some parts, very greasy, it was like they had re-fried it from the day before. £2.50 for the sausage and £3.50 for the spring roll. Don't waste your money.

Food was cold but also overcooked and not the usual standard

Charges £6 for small piece of codroe a chips for 90 yo pensioner, absolutely rip off.. this is a small lunch box.. £3 for a handful of chips ? £3 for that small codroe, do not waste your money here , All other fish & chips would be worth the drive further!! Nan said it was horrible lol bless her Wouldn’t recommend these place EVER !!

I cancelled my order with just eat on the 4/5/24 straight away after placing it, i received a msg telling me that my refund is on its way...I have not received my refund in fact just eat took my money out of my account even though I cancelled. and there's no way to speak to anyone regarding my refund, there's no help on the app to complain about the money they took from my account. just eat i need my money back. I'm really annoyed that there's no one to speak to , email or call..

Driver was going here there and everywhere I was watching the map to be honest the food is stone cold and to be honest it's going in the bin now

The driver driver was scanning my neighbours car and was asking if they car was mine. I ask him why he was asking me that question, then he left. I did not feel safe for me or my neighbour.

The restaurant owner didn't read my message with a specific request about my order. Most of the restaurant ignore the messages. A bit disappointed.

Food great. Delivery was on time, but delivery driver lazy. I got a call demanding i came down to collect my food. You pay a fee for delivery so i wasnt impressed my delivery guy couldn't be bothered to walk up one set of stairs. And the call was rude. But no complaints about the food. Food tasty

The food was lovely and hot but we ordered 2 battered saveloys but was sent 2 battered sausages that was abit greasy apart from that would order again

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Please do not buy fish from here. Spent over £20 and this is the quality of fish they serve. Had an extremely pungent smell. It really did smell like canned sardine. Must be expired. This fish was supposed to be large that was shared between 4 people. Tiny fish for a large. I wonder what a small is. More batter than fish. Hard exterior and the texture of the fish itself is awful. But what I can’t understand… does this place not debone their fish? What is this travesty?! Will never buy fish from here again. And if you love yourself, you wouldn’t either. Wouldn’t feed this to my dogs. That’s saying something. It’s put me off fish for life… or for a few months.

Ordered large donna and small chips which came to £11.50, decent amount of food..... So reasonably priced. The Donner meat is crispy and hard in places also chewy. This is due to the fact it's cut then stuck on the fryer. No need for this! 🤦 Chips are standard chippy chips which are good. Service quite slow. Would I go back for say fish? Not so sure after reading other reviews.

Horrible. Ordered cod bites, received overly battered fish tails with no cod in whatsoever.

If anyone says they don't rate this takeaway, well then they never eaten proper fish and chips before!

Never will I order from here again. Food is dire. Chicken burger is one flattened bun and a dry flattened nugget. No mayo. No salad. Inedible. Now in the bin.

Not sure what’s happened to this place, they used to do a decent fish and chips without fail, always busy.I ended up with dried out fish, and just ok chips, and at a high cost. Won’t be back.

Chips sausage and sav was lovely doner meat was surprisingly good for a chip shop and all was fresh and hot price not too bad.

I love this take away the food is amazing fresh & hot the one this is the kebabs never came with any salad but the last order I had they did come with salad
