£10 minimum card payment which is a disgrace if you ask me. Good fish and chip shop the guy in there is a bit too nosy for my liking but food is great. Please sort your minimum card payment out!

10 STARS FOR ME! :) Excellent Place! :) Very CLEAN and TIDY. The CHIPS are amazing! I often visit with my mum AND also just by myself. The staff are so lovely especially John. You should be so proud John. You are so kind, loving, caring and down to earth. What a lovely guy you are. I now use BROADWAY FISH AND CHIPS, as my local Where i live IN DARTFORD is not so good. MEDIUM is good. IF YOU ARE REALLY HUNGRY LARGE IS GREAT. Ask for "KIDS SIZE PORTION" if you want "SMALL" They TAKE CASH ONLY which they state VERY CLEARLY and its very easy to read it. If you CAN'T READ IT OR YOU DIDN'T SEE IT THEN PLEASE ASK. GO TO A CASH MACHINE BEFORE YOU GET HERE. There are LOTS of SPOTS TO SIT NEARBY. YOU CAN SIT IN JUST ASK. or just go and sit somewhere else more quiet if preferred. THEY HAVE HEALTHY OPTIONS TO. If you would like TEA they do often have it available just ask. THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY TO ALL THE LOCAL CUSTOMERS, AS WELL AS THOSE TRAVELLING FROM FURTHER AWAY. They are VERY CHILD FRIENDLY. YOU CAN CALL AND PLACE YOUR ORDER TO. We sat in recently. John is such a lOVELY GUY. Always HAPPY and SMILING and he really makes you feel lOVED and WELCOME. HE IS TRULY SUCH A WONDERFUL GUY. This is now my FAVOURITE CHIPPY and ALWAYS WILL BE. I made a mistake on my order. Phoned them as per UberEats advise."speak to the restaurant and they will try thier best to accommodate your order" I did that and they were Very unhelpful I was more than happy to pay for a bag of chips I had mistakenly left off my order. instead they were not helpful and advised me to cancel my order and to phone Uber Eats (which you can't do) I got charged £6.50 for cancelling. They clearly knew this would happen. Thanks for being so unhelpful. Your attitude and customer service is dreadful. I won't be recommending you to anyone

The only thing missing was being wrapped in news paper. I have been away for ten years coming home every now and then . I do my rounds of food I can not get in Asia. Fish and chips is a must. I must say the Aussie try hard just not the same. Cod was amazing sav was just so nice . And of course the chips. Not fries . Not wedgies. But chips.

Very tasty and large portions. Also friendly staff. One negative point is the space inside to eat was very tight. But I would still recommend it.

What kind of person puts cold drink in with hot food, box was wet and fell apart on my lap. Chips didn't even have salt on them. Missing items. Batter falling away from the fish over done. Not happy

I travel on 3x Buses there & back home & I could get it cheaper in Plural Places Within ten minutes in a few directions, from my home, but Broadway Fish & Chips is Leaps & Bounds, Miles ahead of all the others "Minimum" & John has the best telephone manner & they are all so friendly, Plus, in the summer they even do a Loyalty-Card for Regulars I'm pleased to say! As most companies are quick to take your custom & offer very little in return back! Hence this is the Best of the Best Fish & Chips as an all-rounder! Plus the oil is always clean & this is a big plus for me! Thankyou from CoLLette!

Fantastic fresh fried fish and chips. Batter tastes perfect..phone ahead or be prepared to wait as they fry to order. Large chips are huge, so you might want to check out medium. As good as the best anywhere north or south hemisphere

Visited here in March to pick up a take away treat on a cold and wet Wednesday- got to say I was impressed with the service, the freshness and the price.Made to feel welcome even though they were busy they still acknowledged me when I walked through the door- always a big plus.Everyone enjoyed the food, sill warm, and tasted fresh- highly recommend

We use this shop very often and on the night in question we ordered the Salmon Kebab , Kalamari Scampi and two Cod and Chips . The staff were very clean courteous quick and friendly too and cooked the order from scratch They didn't stress even though there was a massive queueThe Salmon was especially tasty and a reasonable price as well Cod and chips light very tasty and not too greasy We will continue to use this awesome local shop Excellent Service from an excellent shop !!!!!Mr T

Stumbled on this establishment by chance. Huge portions and all freshly cooked. Chips fresh and not full of eyes. Will visit to try their 'Turkish' side soon.

Fish is always perfect, chips are spot on, portion size is also spot on. The grilled halloumi is to die for! Staff are always very friendly and welcoming, wouldn't go anywhere else!

We always buy our fish and chips from here. The food is never greasy. They even grill your fish for you if you prefer. Very clean and very friendly staff.

Fancied some thing a little lighter for lunch and went for the Grilled Cod and chips, What a surprise it was amazing so tasty and the cod was falling to bits and so soft i have no idea how they cooked it this good but i will be back for more of these and next time will be the Sea Bass

Without a doubt this is one of the best chippies in the area. The prices are more than reasonable with a good portion size. When eating in, if you can get a table, the food is hot and the waiting staff are extremely pleasant. nearly always a bit of a que which says a lot about its reputation.

This is just the best chippie in the Bexleyheath area period, and use it on a fairly regular basis. Never a long wait after phoning in your order,, and staff efficient and friendly. Good portion of chips and fish cooked without batter if so required. Prices are very reasonable and obviously there are various other options on the menu.

Popped in for a quick bite and had savaloy and chips to go. Chips were lovely and were served by a smiling employee and very quick. Looked busy have been before and would go again.

I've been getting my fish n chips from here for years now and it's always really good quality. Cod is cod (not some other white fish) and their salt & pepper squid is fantastic. I've never had a kebab from here but I've heard they are good. You always have to wait a bit while they cook your fish but I don't care as it you know it's fresh. Not cheap but great quality.

There is no piling up fish in the top heater waiting for customers - they cook to order and it shows. Really nice, friendly staff. I used to go to a chippy in Avenue Road or Blendon but they went down hill and found this place. I am glad I did!

I know people who travel from as far afield as Chelsea, Kensington and Southend to eat here. Fish cooked to perfection - either fried or grilled - great chips, great service, sensational home made kebabs, generous salads and servie with a smile.The fish is always extraordinarily fresh and unmatched in quality.

Been here many times and its a lovely chip shop with pleasant efficient staff and the fish and chips are lovely and fresh and worth the wait as its a busy little place. You can pre order from here and the portions are generous. Its well situated in the broadway and does a lot of business from kids and adults alike and you can sit inside if you prefer.

Been here several times now, fish always cooked to order, food never dry or crusty staff are polite especially the younger lad who's always smiling. Can also ring your orders through and collect.
