This place is already rated 4.9, but it's so good that it deserves another 5 star review. Every ingredient tastes genuinely fresh, down to the coriander. Not too sweet either, plus lovely service & great value.

Hidden gem Thai - locals love. Chef/owners are super sweet and honest. Thai food is authentic taste and price is very fair. So glad to make this place my regular visit.

Sensational! We had the coconut chicken soup which was so flavourful… we also had roasted duck pancakes and the laab fish. As a Thai person, this ticks all the boxes! Highly recommend and wonderful staff

We visited Sat early dinner time. They are pretty busy so recommended booking 👋the front staff is very friendly and helpful. It was first time visit, the restaurant was clean and calm place. Lots of green plant make us feel relaxed. The food was absolutely great 👍 we ordered pork starter( highly recommended soft), som tam , basil leaves pork coconut 🍚 rice. Phad Thai with chicken. All of the dish’s was good! Pay option available. Cash 10% off 🤩 Highly recommend! And the price was great as well. We will be back soon !!

Great service, plating so pretty and great flavor with sauces but wish the actual food content was more substantial and not dependent on the rice as filler.

Yean and team produce the best Thai food. You must try the whole fried spicy fish which is very traditional Thai dish!

One of my favourite neighbourhood restaurants, I eat here at least once a fortnight. Food is delicious for both take-away and dine-in, staff is kind and friendly. Some dishes are authentically spicy but definitely DOES NOT give you food poisoning.

I have been a regular customer of Toong Tong Thai for years. Chef Jean puts so much dedication and hard work behind every dish. I have tasted most of the items on the menu, they taste amazing and very fresh. Thanks Jean and team for fantastic service.

This is a local family run business. Therefore the chefs of the restaurant take great pride in the food they prepare. It is obvious that the chefs love to cook. The service is always very warm and the staff very considerate of their customers. The food is divine, my only fear is that I might eat too much! The price of food charged is very inexpensive. The restaurant’s high rating is well deserved. Bravo! 👏🏽👏🏽

There are so many Thai restaurants in this area but this is among the best (maybe THE best!). The staff are always so lovely and kind, the food is delicious and very fresh, and it has a really calm atmosphere. Reasonably priced too.

Freshly made, simple delicious Thai food. Don't forget the mango sticky rice which I spent lock down trying unsuccessfully to replicate. Trust the experts and order early.

Finally got round to reviewing our local! We have been numerous times and every time the food is delicious, service is extremely polite and welcoming. Highly recommend for a lovely meal!

Cute little Thai restaurant. The duck rolls and papaya salad were great. The green curry was okay. The portion size of the entrees were a bit small. Overall good.

Had such high expectations after reading the reviews. We ordered to collect. The food was nice, but not the best Thai I’ve ever had. The pad si ew noodles were not that flavourful and only contained 5 prawns. The red curry was quite thin. The salt and chilli squid was ok, but could have been better. £42 for two.

Had heard great things about this place so on 26 January 2023 I ordered a takeaway for 10 people. I gave 1 1/2 hrs notice. The restaurant is not conveniently located for me and I went to pick up my order ( they apparently don't deliver). The food was a bit delayed so I had to wait but that was not really a problem other than irksome.I considered the price higher than I expected. However it became clear that my extra effort and the price charged was worth it. My guests were very impressed. The duck spring rolls were particularly fabulous. Really good dishes. When I returned c.2 weeks later (11 February 2023) to have a meal at the restaurant, my anticipation was high. I felt that in light of the standard of the takeaway that despite the inconvenient location it would be worth the trip. Sadly the quality had dropped markedly. The duck spring rolls were a real disappointment. The flavours were now bland. The duck red curry was a shadow of the one previously enjoyed. There was less duck and it included lychee and pineapple. This had not been in the previous order. It was not what I wanted. My dining companion was very disappointed with the Pad thai which again was not up to the standard previously enjoyed. It lacked flavour. I can only assume the previous band of cooks was off that second night because the high standard had not been maintained. Sadly for me the special quality was no longer there. I will not return lest I am disappointed again. A shame

What an awesome restaurant. The food here is awesome. The flavours are really bold and fresh, as you would expect of authentic Thai food. I tried the salt and chilli squid, mushroom tom yum, and pad si ew. It was as good as the food I've had in Thailand, albeit exported for the UK palette (not as spicy). The staff are really friendly and welcoming, they take great care of their customers and make an effort to be warm and caring, even during a busy service. The Tom Yum is the golden standard of Thai cooking and these guys do an amazing Tom Yum at a reasonable price. I would highly rate this restaurant and recommend it both for dining in and taking away.

I was excited to eat here given the high reviews but instead I got food poisoning from my veggie Pad Thai!!! Unfortunately I won’t be eating here again.

I like to do reviews when I’m sat at the restaurant. Couldn’t rate the place high enough. Been here twice and both times the staff have carried the traditional Thai hospitality. Very caring and the food is delicious. Seems very hygienic. I recommend the yellow chicken. Good price as well.

Visited for Saturday night dinner. The food is exceptional and superior to others in the area. Starters fully homemade spring rolls and Tom Yum soup. 10 out of 10. Service too, was impeccable. The restaurant is rather simple to look at, dont be put off. The dining is superb

Reasonably priced, relaxed environment and great flavors. We've been twice now and thoroughly enjoyed both meals. If you like spice then I'd recommend the chili lamb stir fry or the jungle curry. It seems to be a family run business which is always nice to see.

Understaffed. Our table and two others were waiting 20+ minutes to have a server come over. Server never came over, we ended up leaving. Please hire more staff.

It was a wonderful dining experience at Toong Toong Thai. My family and I were glad to choose indoors to eat there than outdoors even on a beautiful day. We were welcomed to a cosy, 'green garden' style decor inside with enhancing ambience. It has lovely green climber plant around, with other many interesting plants. Service was very good and friendly, food were all delicious. My favourite is now ranking top, Phad See Ew noodles this time over Phad Thai as usual, I'll be back soon.

I haven’t been in a while but I went during lockdown and when looking at local Thai places I remembered this one and how good it was so had to leave a review. Red duck curry was one of the best I’ve ever had and I can’t remember what starters I got but they were incredible too.

This is the best Thai food in London! Having previously spent a lot of time in Bangkok, I can compare the exquisite flavours with those you would only expect in Thailand. The quality is amazing and the owners and staff are very kind and welcoming. We’re regulars and Toong Tong Thai is always busy, no matter the day of the week!
