A great local restaurant, with reasonably priced meals. Small and pleasant atmosphere. Weekdays there is lunchtime specials menu, with an extensive menu to back it up. In my opinion, best local Thai restaurant in the area. Not expensive, reasonable portion s.

Excellent food and great service

Liked it so much we went twice in one week. We have spent most Januaries in Thailand foe the last 3 decades and are happy to be able to say it is authentic enough. There is a lunch special for about £11 which includes a small clear soup and rice. It was quiet on a weekday lunchtime but pleasantly busy on Sunday evening.

Cozy little thai restaurant. They only had one person working on the floor. However, the food was authentic and not expensive.

Really delicious vegan pad Thai, with vegan gyoza and vegan tofu with vegetables. All were really delicious and good portions. I would marinate the tofu in soy sauce personally but that is my preference. Vegan pad Thai is amazing.

The food is too powerful and has a very strong flavour. Need more balance. In my personal opinion the solution is: Don't abuse of lemon grass, ginger, and other species...

Fantastic food - fresh and light and delicious flavour. Easy to walk out feeling good rather than like you just had a lot of gloopy salty food which can be the case! Lovely staff and the music is a good touch, tables well spaced so the atmosphere is nice.

This place has new owners and a new name. Food is excellent. Decor is improved. Service with a smile. The prices are very reasonable (see pics). There is a lunch menu for a typical set Thai lunch (starter and a main) for£9.95 Monday to Friday. I highly recommend this Thai place in Putney. Update: They changed the lunch menu slightly. Still excellent.

My favourite restaurant in the area. I’ve tried almost all the menu but what stands out is their pad Thai! Absolutely delicious! As for starters, the best is Har Kau. Service is nice, they’re always very welcoming. Highly recommended.

Very disappointing experience here. I had a reservation at 7:30pm for 6 people. When I arrived a couple of minutes early, the restaurant was full. They had not reserved a table for us and we were told to wait for a table that should be leaving soon. I was also told that my reservation was for 8pm however both confirmation emails showed 19:30 as the booking time. After waiting for a couple of minutes, we were then told to wait a further 15 minutes for a table upstairs or be seated downstairs where it would just be us. We didn't know how good the service would be if we went downstairs so we decided to have dinner at another restaurant which was lovely.

Sorry but this is the worst thai i have ever ate the beef was disgusting food was raw not cooked had to throw it all away what a waste of money do not serve customers food like this ever!

Super cozy Thai restaurant. Lots of vegan options (and others) and all soooo delicious! The waiter was also incredibly kind and friendly. We'll be going again (and again and again).

This site has had 3 or 4 Thai restaurants over the years, most recently Pinto Thai. The current family owners have been here for 6 months. Short menu (no harm in that) with specials. We had Mixed Starters, Sea Bass Special , Pad Seuiw, a bottle of Chenin Blanc and a large sparkling water. All for £69 inc 10% service. Beautifully cooked from fresh, and lovely service. Only 30 or so covers at the moment so booking advisable (people were being turned away) Bound to be a success

Small take out restaurant in the neighbourhood, conveniently located in the centre of Putney. A few tables are available with service to eat in. Food and service were very good, easy to call in and pick it up; it worked well to have a pint in the pub across the street while we waited.

Ordered delivery from Lila Thai. Arrived quickly and was hot. Pad thai looked grey and tasted as it looked. Massaman was very runny with little flavour. Stir fry veg, pretty much no flavour. The nuts were nicely toasted. Wouldn’t order delivery again.

First return visit here for over a year. I see there were some less good reviews some months ago but there is now a new chef and the food was delicious and spicy. New waiting staff were friendly and attentive. We had a great meal and will be back soon.

We have been there three times. The first two times a few years ago were average. The last time a couple of weeks ago was good.

Terrible service (very rude waitress). I asked waitress about vege dishes and was repeatedly argued with. Ruined the experience and to top it all the food was bland and mediocre Avoid

Had a scam call from this number saying they were from O2 and asking of I had some Internet issues.

Friendly staff, cosy decors, amazingly TASTY thai food - one of the BEST thai meals we have ever had!! Everything tasted absolulely fresh - the sea bass was cooked to perfection, the panang curry was sublime. Very reasonably priced for the location. Couldn't recommend highly enough, needless to say we will be back for sure!!

Tom Yum Kung has too little weight

I used to be a Pinto Thai addict about two years and the green curry about once a week. I’m not sure if they have new Chefs or cutting down on costs but I’ve ordered this twice in the last few months and really sad to say not only was it not what it used to be like but proactively bad.

Used to be great now terrible. Completely flavourless. Avoid

Excellent! We've booked a table through their website, it was easy and quick. Upon arrival we were welcomed by a lovely host. He explained the dishes and suggested us the drink, the dessert, the type of rice to side with the main dishes. It was a very good experience. Fresh food, great quality, friendly staff and calm atmosphere. The prawns, chicken, spring rolls, all 5 STARS !! We will definitely return! Thank you :)

The service was poor from the beginning. The server was only managing 4 occupied tables, and seemed overwhelmed trying to find us one of the other 5 empty tables. The Mixed Starter was nice and appeared to use good quality ingredients. I was impressed and looking forward to my mains... I chose the Lamb Massaman for my mains, however all of the lamb pieces were impossibly chewy and inedible - not at all 'tender' as described on the menu. I showed the server I couldn't even cut through the pieces of lamb with my knife, he just said ok and took the plate away. Overall a poor experience and an unsatisfied customer who will not return.

Love this place - my friends and I arrived before the restaurant opened (by accident) and they still let us into the warm, sat us down and took our order and started cooking right away. It was honestly some of the best Thai food I've ever had and all the staff were so kind and accommodating - well worth the trip round the corner away from the high street!

Normally we have a delicious takeaway from Pinto, but I tried eating in. The restaurant is lovely, and the food even more delicious, served in beautiful pinto dishes. We had the green curry and pad thai with prawns, it was one of the best meals I have ever had! Very reasonable prices too.

Nice value for money set menu for lunch

I can't fault the flavours at Pinto - every dish my friends and tried really packed a punch. I just wish there was a bit more of the main ingredient on the plate i.e. Instead 4 prawns, 6 - there was more sauce on the plate than succulent prawn. The dishes aren't for sharing, despite being delicious.

Fantastic food, I would recommend all the starters and soups, for mains I would get steamed fish with lime juice and a sticky rice but stir fried chicken with chilli 🌶 is excellent if you're feeling the spice. The broccoli they have is probably my favourite from around the area. Deep fried chicken 🍗 wings are excellent but the portion is small for the price. Other dishes are good too like the waterfall beef salad 🥗 but it should have more salads! I just wish they updated / changed the menu (just a bit) more often. It's true that it is quite pricey too.

Friendly and attentive waiter. Food was generally good, but I would like to point out that the seabass red curry was exceptional, full of flavour and fish seemed fresh (At least thats what I feel) and the Kuay Tew had a lot of “Wok Hei”. Will visit again if I am near Putney in the future.

They do a great value lunch deal with plenty of tasty choices and very generous portion sizes- I enjoyed it a lot.

We stumbled unto this place on a lazy Saturday, decided to give it a try, we both agree that the food is exceptionally good and tasted lovely, very cozy feel and welcoming excellent service... My only complaint we needed more because it was good.. Definitely coming back in the near future..

Ordered via Deliveroo. A dish advertised as vegan came with egg so I couldn’t eat it. When I called to complain the restaurant was unapologetic. The rest of the food was basic, oily and didn’t taste of much.

My Red Curry corner in Putney :)

I had the egg fried rice with chicken that comes in a gravy sauce and an egg. Whilst the taste was reasonably good the portion is very small for the price with just four or five very tiny pieces (minute) of not particularly good chicken. Very poor value for money. If you’re hungry you need to go somewhere else.

A bit cold and clinical, menu was OK, nothing much more to say, other than, walk a few more meters and go to the Japanese.

This place is okay but could be so much better.. My Krapow lacked flavour and heat and was served without basil when Krapow means Holy Basil.. my wife's Tom Yam soup did not contain most of the seafood listed on the menu...

Great Food. It can get anymore authentic than this and it didnt have to cost me much. I got the set Lunch and with that you get soup, starters and an awesome meal selection. I love their Milk Tea as well, Ive always looked for Nai Cha everywhere, not a lot of resto sells good ones like the one they sell here.

Quite flavourless Pad Thai ( is that even possible? ) Ridiculously small Som Tam salad portion that cost £10 and 5 x scrawny chicken wings that tasted of old oil. Never, ever, again.

Love this place! Great, delicious food and on Deliveroo (so convenient). Not the fanciest place in terms of deco and crockery etc but the food never fails to deliver.

Very swift service and good the food considering how quickly it was served. The crockery is slightly inappropriate for the food. My plate was dirty and wasn't porcelain. Quite nice ambience. Given it was snowing outside and the place doesn't have heating, expect to be a bit cold in winter. The waiter hovered around the table a bit too much which for me was a little off putting. 2 people had a cup of Jasmine tea and a main which came to £30 - not cheap. The 3 stars aren't for the food, it's for the whole experience.

Been a handful of times and always had a good meal. The Lunch menu is great value and never disappoints, but the evenings can get very busy. Very authentic and flavoursome.
