TONYY why did you MACARONIIII??! once in a lifetime experience, will forever leave you wondering what was it that you put in your mouth, that vaguely looked like a pizza

Some reviewers seemed to have more luck than us - their food tasted of nothing. Ours, however, was closer to rolled out Play Doh with cold and tired tomato concentrate. It was the weirdest - did you guess what we ate(?) - pizza - we have ever eaten. Staff were good, no issues there. I hope staff bring their own food for their breaks so they don't have to eat anything from Tony Macaroni. I have developed a fear of that pizza. When I enter a room, I'm worried that pizza is lurking around the corner, trying to make me eat it. Oh, and my stomach is feeling a bit funny today, so I guess my fear is irrational as the pizza doesn't have to wait around the corner for me; it's ghost is already haunting me. It will forever be a mystery what ingredients they used to make this pizza monster. It's actually quite hard to make it this bad. If you were to get a few random ingredients from Tesco's, you'd probably have a good chance that the pizza would be better, even if you one of the random ingredients was a shoe or something.

Not a great experience I'm afraid in here. Staff all looked disinterested on phones or eating food on the floor. Taps in the male toilets never worked properly. Food itself, lasagne was bland and tasteless and burnt to a crisp round the edges. Chips were heated up and half them were cooked to no chip inside. No one asked how the meal was throughout or I would have said, but they asked me to leave a review which I have. Was not a great experience and never enjoyed it at all. Only way it's not 1 is my wife did enjoy her burger but felt disappointed in the whole experience.

Emma was absolutely stupendous, great environment also great place to celebrate a birthday, highly recommended for those looking to indulge in Italian cuisine Manger was enthusiastic aswell.

Went here for a nice lunch out with a friend. The restaurant was very quiet at this time which was ideal for us. Staff were efficient and quick to take our order. We were both delighted with our food, I had a caprina and my friend had a margherita, then we both had ice cream sundaes for pudding. We went on a Sunday, when there was a special “Buena Domenica” menu with two courses for £14.95, with an extra £3 for sundaes. Toilets were pleasant enough and the restaurant seemed to be mostly clean. The table we sat at was slightly wobbly which was a bit annoying, but not a major issue. Overall, a good experience.

Popped in for lunch after a meeting, food and service was spot on, thank you.

Great lunchtime food , decent price ,service great too. When it was quiet young staff changed music and turned it up. Lady that served us seemed to sort that. I'd have given 5 stars , but, when I paid I used a card, said to the girl "I'll tip you cash" ( as I do , avoid them paying taxes ) she told me 10pc added! Less than I was gonna actually give but shocked it was added. We are getting too Americanised , hope people stand up to it.

Busy place due to location next to theatre but service was prompt n friendly. I had the Ceasar Salad and friendly had risotto both generous servings

We went on 1/2/25 and I wished we didn't, the rugby was finished so we were happy that we got a table as everywhere was packed, I now know why. The service staff were outstanding, they never stopped. The food was garbage, I had the Spaghetti Bolognese and asked for garlic bread, my wife had Spaghetti Carbonara. The Spaghetti Bolognese was very acidic all you could taste was very strong tomato taste, the garlic bread or Bruschetta Aglio Burro at £4.95 was two warm slices of soft bread with a thin coating of garlic butter on it. In total our bill was £49.90 including the service charge which I did not grudge as the service staff were very very good but the food was no better than a microwave meal.

Servers were lovely, amazing. Couldn’t be nicer. Manager (Man in white shirt, black trousers at service area) seemed arrogant and his attitude to staff was appalling and a number of tables commented. I ordered the cheeseburger which was cold, cousin ordered fish which was raw. We sent them back and it completely put us off eating. Servers apologised and seemed embarrassed. Manager became sheepish. Do not recommend and will not return! Very disappointed

The food and service were great. This is also a good place to go with small children. Pre-ordering a space is recommended. But it also works with waiting time. Prices are ok. We'd love to come back.

Not sure why this place is called italian. The food was unacceptable and the service was slow after they got our order. They ignored us for around 10mins after we asked them to come to tell them about the food. They were quite loud and doing unprofessional things as well, chasing each other outside the shop. We had a bruscetta, a pizza and a pasta plate. The pasta came cold with probably uncooked heavy cream. We chose a pizza with two meats and asked them to put just chicken since it's the only halal option, but they brought it as it was shown on the menu, so we had to return it. The bruscetta was completely tasteless and very oily. And the oil wasn't even olive oil, but vegetable oil. Very sad experience, we left hungry. Very expensive as well for what they offer.

There was multiple Maggots in my burger and the patty in it had mold on itand a hairs in my chicken wings.

this was the worst food i have ever eaten at a restaurant, two completely different dishes not edible for different reasons. the service was shocking not even a check of how the food was or any concern for why the food wasn’t eaten just straight up happy to take payment. i would never recommend to a friend or even anyone for that fact. the carbonara had a play dough taste and at 12.50 pounds it should have an edible taste, the pizza smelt of feet and tasted of feet, my friend had a gagging reaction to the taste of the pizza. this is completely unacceptable for a restaurant and to not even have service to make up for the and food.

Excessive volume of music, and very poor and low quality food. We paid 30 pounds per menu, and it was honestly a disappointing experience. I don't recommend it at all.

If i could rate it 0 starts i would. I recently visited Tony Macaroni with my significant other, and it was a TERRIBLE experience. My partner ordered the carbonara, and it tasted like play dough absolutely inedible. I had the lasagna, which looked like it had been microwaved and tasted sour/off. To top it off, the staff were incredibly rude, openly talking about customers within earshot. Definitely won't be coming back.

Booked table for pre-theatre dinner as recommended by work colleague. Arrived early and seated straight away. Place was absolutely freezing on what was probably the coldest night outside. The air conditioning unit seemed to be blowing cold air - had a cold draft blowing at my back the whole time. Had to keep coat/scarf on. Small oil filled heaters were dotted around but done nothing to combat cold. Drinks were received quickly. The chap, who may have been duty manager, took our food order but seemed distracted/disinterested and was looking all around him as he took the order. First course arrived and was served wrong item but I took it anyway as time was pushing on. Plates for both courses were cold so food cooled quickly Seemed rushed service and only one server bringing meals out. No sooner had previous course been cleared than next arrived. All in all not a pleasant experience and won't return.

We visited last night to a not so welcoming team of staff granted it was extremely busy. Angus grilled burger had been no where near a Grill it was 50 shades of gray and tasteless. pasta was was so cold making staff aware hot pasta was put down and 20%off bill but quality needs be better for the prices that you charge!!!

We had the most unremarkable birthday party at Toni macaroni last night for my 44 birthday. The party was knocked slammed a huge failure by us 9 people, and this failure was due in no small part to the weak work, weakness and lack of enthusiasm of the poor staff at Toni macaroni.

Very disappointing… chips were from the bottom of the chip pan, burger was tasteless, coleslaw - oh don’t get me started. Only saving grace was the sundae (Hot choc) but there were suspect “bits” in it. Will not be back. Oh and toilets need regular cleaning… dirty, no toilet roll and unused tampons lying around!!

Absolutely shocking.. Went this evening with my Girlfriend, we felt as if we were rushed to make a decision. We received our food very quickly- at first I didn't question this. I ordered lasagne and after a few initial bites it became clear that the lasagne was stone cold in the middle! I can only assume it was prepared so quickly and so cold in the middle as it was microwaved. We decided at this point to ask for bill and leave- when I asked for the bill , I told our server about my dissatisfaction with the meal. She simply replied "oh"- there was no solutions, apologies or discounts offered. If I could give less than 1 star I would- I would NOT recommend and I would not return.

Been to this place a few times and never fails to disappoint. Because of the noise inside the restaurant we decided to eat outside. My only concern is we would be forgotten about. But this wasn't the case. Drink came quickly and food order taken promptly. I loved my giant plate of spaghetti carbonara, I it was awesome. However my wife was very disappointed with her chicken burger. It was overcooked and very dry. The pizza ordered at the table also gets 5 stars. It was the hawian pizza, so I and it was great. We also ordered the Focaccia bread with rosemary and it was also delicious. Given we ate there without a booking on Saturday evening, the service was really top class. Highly recommend the Omni Centre restaurant.

Macaroni was the worst I have ever tasted it was like the first time the person had made it and no flavour of cheese just milk

we headed into Tony macaroni for a relaxing lunch, and unfortunately we got quite the opposite. music so loud it left your head pounding, service so slow(we were in there for 3 hours just for pizzas and drinks) and to top it off, a bone was found in the chicken on our pizzas. as we raised this with the staff, they hardly acknowledged it, and went on to laugh about it with the chef. we may sound picky, but the pizzas when they first came were cold!! and the alternative pizza that came was burning, only telling us how hot it was after we had touched the plate and got burned.chips where baltic!! when they actually came had to remind them twice!! shocking!!the staff thought they were funny, but in reality, they were quite rude, doing inappropriate things outside. not really the type of service you want in a busy public place. to be honest, i should have brought my dog, he would have enjoyed the bones!!

I’d rather eat poison than Tony Macaroni - I imagine I’d be tastier and healthier than this. In all seriousness, I had lunch on a Sunday with someone else, both ordered different dishes and both of us had food poisoning a couple of hours later. The place was almost empty even if they had a 2x1 offer, the service was incredibly slow, and the furniture was half broken. If you are a fan of war zones or you are in need of a laxative, come to Tony Macaroni!

The food is so incredible that I spent days in the bathroom shitting vinegar. I recommend the restaurant, they have the best laxatives I've ever tried in my life

Just had the worst Risotto in my life. My wife said she would rather die than having their risotto. Waitress is nice tho.

Ordered drinks 10mins before food and food arrived first and after asking 3 different people where our drinks were we only got them once most of food was eaten then were totally ignored when trying to get another juice for one of our party who was unable to finish her meal as was cold and she was too thirsty to finish , we asked for manager and instead a supervisor came and was rude and had attitude with my daughter to start with and was then apologetic when we paid bill..very disappointing visit

Very grumpy man welcoming you to the restaurant. No smile, nothing... Food came out lookewarm! It wan't tasty. Toilets need updating. Really horrible place to eat.Not revomended. And they charge you 10% service charge, maybe that is why no one makes an effort, they already get a tip..

Never felt so unwelcome and neglected 2 waiters didn't check on me having 2 course meal neither checked my wine refill yet I got a check with a service charge on it !!! Poor service I got an apology at the end as I refused to pay the service charge, I'm a food and Beverage manager I believe both your waiters need further training to better represent Tony Macaroni brand. Please managers address those issues and prevent it from happening again... even my table candle wasn't lit, shocking 😐

Wish I’d looked at TA before going here but it was Saturday night and we’d had a busy day (one of the teens didn’t want to go to Mama Roma’s as we’d been the night before - we wish we had!). Food was underwhelming and bland. Service was ok (in fact food came worryingly quickly which at least explained the anaemic colour….). Let’s hope anyone tempted to go reads the reviews first (and no, I didn’t say anything on the night a) the waitress didn’t ask if everything had been ok and b) the staff all looked about as old as my daughters and I wouldn’t want someone having a moan at them

As I was up from London visiting a friend, and attending a show at the Playhouse, next door, she suggested that we eat here. Service was excellent and way better than we get in London. Food was very good and the portion size was more than suffice. I would be happy to return again, when next up in Edinburgh. I had the macaroni cheese, and my friend had a burger, which looked excellent. Mine was very pleasant. For pudding I had the tiramisu and she had a sticky toffee pudding. Both were excellent and nothing wasted! I see some people complain about price. I’d say come and live in London, then complain. For the location and being in the city centre, what else can you expect? I was not complaining!

Awful! Not been in years and won’t go back. Still feel sick at the thought of it. Husband had chicken strips, they were green, greasy and looked like tree roots. I had “spicy” chicken wings, soggy and bland. Husbands pizza was nice but could have been cooked a bit longer as the base was really pale. I had chicken Milanese, it was swimming in sauce, the pasta was overcooked and soggy and the breaded chicken breast was greasy and soggy….a common theme. I left my whole main. The waiter came to take away our plates and asked how the meal was and i explained it was horrible. He seemed shocked and wasn’t interested and really quite rude. When we left, my husband saw him making a gesture behind my back to a fellow waitress. Avoid at all costs!!!

Had a lovely meal here. The Christmas menu choice is absolutely amazing. We all wanted the Christmas Dinner but unfortunately they had run out - and it was only 12.30! Very busy restaurant so a good atmosphere. Food all well presented and well cooked. Drinks also reasonably priced. We'll be back

Met up with reletives from New Zealand. Two of us had the Funghi Fritti (breaded mushrooms with cheese) as I've had these before in the Glasgow restaurant. Very disappointed. They were very solid to cut into , very little cheese and tasteless. Definitely not the same as before. Main course was lovely. Pollo Cajun. On paying the bill I wasn't told about the service charge, £14.73 automatically charged to the bill. This I noticed when home and reading receipt . Service was average and I certainly wouldn't have left this amount as a tip.

On 18th August 2024, after a long time, my wife and I visited this restaurant. All staffs were very kind and foods were also very good. On 8th January 2022, my wife and I visited this restaurant for our lunch. We visited this OMNI site at first. This restaurant’s staff were very kind. There is a lots of kind meals n the menu. We selected one starter and one main dish. Taste was very good. Looking forward to having other meals soon. Thank you.

Bad food and bad service. I found hairs in my food, the waiter said "oh sorry" and took my plate away. No offer of another dish or compensation of any kind, just the occasional glare from the waiter. Waitress came over 10mins later, who apologised when I explained what had happened, and offered another meal, which I refused, I also refused to pay for my meal. None of my family finished their food as hugely over salted (and put off by the hair!) Will never eat there again.

Went in for a bite to eat with a friend, she ordered a risotto and I ordered a steak. I ordered the steak rare but it was served to me past medium, so I asked if it were possible to have it fixed. They took it back. Friend commented on the risotto being incredibly bland and asked the server for salt as our shaker was empty, to which he directed us to the shaker and had to be off again. I was brought out a new steak. It smelled horrible, as if the meat itself was bad. I tried to stomach a bite, but the smell was horrendous, and there was no seasoning whatsoever on this meat. Not even salt. It was just bad meat. I spit it out, and asked for a check. The servers were sweet, but the food was inedible and nothing was fixed. To the risottos credit, my friend described it as “edible enough” which… not a great commendation. The server to her credit gave us a percentage off but I didn’t eat anything here, and my friend was incredibly dissatisfied, but we had tried to resolve issues twice already so we just ate the cost and went to a five guys nearby instead for fries. Overall, 0/10, def do not recommend.

Had a family day out with my 2 adult daughters and granddaughter . Placed our order for staters and mains together asking for them separately . Food arrived approx 20 mins later, both starters and main courses bar one main meal. Waiting staff didn’t seem interested when we said they were meant to be separate, just smiled and left. The chicken strips were soggy and greasy and left as I couldn’t eat them. Mozzarella sticks were large but obviously frozen and not very tasty. The lasagne was dry and had very little béchamel sauce and was inedible. The meatballs were dry and tasteless and inedible. I ate my mac n cheese only after seasoning it with a ridiculous amount of salt and pepper as it was so very bland! Asked for the kids icecream that was part of the meal deal and the server had to come back twice to check what flavour we asked for all the while the uneaten food was left on the table as he did not think to start clearing away. When the icecream arrived he took some dishes away then never came back. Had to be prompted to remove the rest by another staff member. Asked for the bill, and gave us someone else’s which took ages to sort. Left nearly £90 lighter and hungry. Very disappointed

We were so excited on one of our date days to eat at this restaurant after travelling to Edinburgh. Unfortunately when we said we had an Itison voucher, the service changed. Also, the food wasn’t the best. The mushrooms were tasty but the dip didn’t have any taste of garlic. The Bruschetta didn’t have any flavour of garlic either. The spicy chicken burger was slightly salty and the carbonara was very bland. At no time did anyone ask if everything was ok with our food during the time we were eating, and the restaurant was not busy. We felt like 2nd class citizens after saying we had a voucher, which means we won’t return. Poor show sadly, especially since we visit Tony Macaroni back home and it’s so much better.

Had an issue with the starter which was quickly rectified. Lorenzo was fantastic dealt with it in a professional and polite manor even having a laugh. This is the second time we have eaten here first time no fault what so ever and this problem rectified quickly. Will be back next time in Edinburgh.

A bit disappointing this visit. Food was not up to usual standard. Part of order was wrong so had to go back. So had to wait a bit longer for correct order to arrive. The girl came & apologised. One burger had to go back as it was cold but the chips were hot. Wouldn't recommend to anyone as very disappointed.

Came in to be sat down, male staff member walked past us twice and totally ignored our presence.

The spaghetti aglio e olio werent aglio e olio, there was some garlic and probably some oil too, but they made it look like some sauce, with more ingredients too. The Lasagna didnt even have Béchamel sauce between the layers and was a small portion and looked like it was stirred and not layered.

Large restaurant in the Omni Center, where the Edinburgh Foodspot is located. Staff and service are very friendly. The food came quickly and was delicious. We ate once on site when we arrived and once to take away, which is also possible.

Really enjoyed our meal here. It would be nice for Tony Macaroni to be in England, too.

Called in for a last minute booking as everywhere else was booked (marathon weekend). They had a table so we booked. After getting back to hotel and looking at reviews I was a bit worried!! No need, service was outstanding, food served quickly and was delicious and hot. Really cannot fault in any way. I had pizza and wife had pesto chicken pasta, all excellent.

Edinburgh, Omni Centre...13.25pm....Ordered drinks...1 wine 1 beer...2 waters..waitress turns up and gives 1 water...oops...food...and their huge menu and some states..NEW options.......1st pick...nope..sorry not available...next my missus orders...nope not available..me again..nope not available...so why does the chef not brief the staff and say the following can't be ordered as when u do your are let down....the star is for Mia who was lovely and apologetic..we walked out and went to Mama Rosa over the road....food drinks and staff....different level....avoid chain food places

Came here with my family, the staff are super sweet and super friendly with children. The menu is full of food with super affordable prices, our food came out fresh and hot I would definitely recommend diavola pizza. I really recommend this place out of everywhere I've been TRY IT!!!

Got the geppy style half past half pizza, Spaghetti bolognese and cheese pizza., the problem we had was the bolognese was really nice but the bowl it was in was cold so after a few mins the bolognese was cold. Same with the pizza plate was cold after 5 mins ur eating cold food, the pizza is a wood fired oven pizza and the edges and bottom where white no crunch or the odd wee burned bits the way it should.. By simply hesting up the plates and cooking the pizza that little longer would have been spot on

I ordered penne arrabbiata and added chicken while eating it I realised I was eating bacon which I can’t eat! I said to the waitress who said she would speak to the chef I waited a while and she didn’t come back I asked for the bill she brought me the bill which had the pasta on it which I hadn’t eaten very much at all and she had added a service charge! When I emailed to complain they said that it wouldn’t happen again and was left at that! The restaurant was cold when we asked for the heating to be put on she turned on a plug in heater across the restaurant and we sat with our coats on. Wouldn’t come back ever again.

Went as a party of 11 for my nieces birthday. Took ages for anyone to come and get a drinks order, and our food arrived before our drinks - big no no in hospitality. All of us agreed our food was bland, tasteless and awful. I had the blandest spaghetti carbonara I've ever eaten. My sister-in-law didnt get one of the dishes she'd ordered, my other sister-in-law found a hair and a piece of plastic in her risotto - the server took these off the bill but didnt seem surprised. "Chefs" (microwave operators) were just flinging food about, one of them on the phone for about 30 minutes and cooking(reheating) at the same time. Other staff seemed stretched and that they're used to the state of the place. They did sing Happy Birthday to my niece which was lovely, but gave us manky plates for the cake. Absolutely avoid this place!

First and last time eating at this chain. Food was expensive for the gruel it was. I hope when I got out to eat that it is at least better than wetherspoons because you at least know it'll be cheap and cheerful there. I got two tiny oval shaped burgers patties in my burger. I shocked me this place is still running. Food was not fresh but should I be surprised with a menu as big as my torso. If you want to compete with the market reduce the menu and focus on good food at a fair price. You'll thank me later Tony. I'd avoid or go to spoons if you're in the market for a cheap and cheerful dinner.

I love going to Tony Macaroni's in Dunfermline, so as we were staying in Edinburgh for a few days, I thought as it was my husbands 70th birthday, it would be good to have a meal there. How disappointing: Let's start with the restaurant that looks like it had seen better days with ripped seating & floors that hadn't seen a Mop in a while. When my husband asked why the floor area that we were sitting right next door, too and where the staff collected all the meals from was dirty . Staff replied, " I will get cleaned tomorrow " ! . Food : My husband ordered chicken in a mushroom sauce & I ordered Lazange, and it was delivered quickly & it was hot . But that's all you could say about it. The Lazange was just a load of ingredients put together in a dish . Staff : It is always lovely to see staff happy in their chosen profession, but there is a line between making sure the atmosphere is a good one while your customers are enjoying there meals & just plain larking about. It is a shame to think that the staff that work at this particular Tony Macaroni's thinks the name of the restaurant is enough that customers will return no matter what the service is like. Ps I must just comment on the female member of staff that evening who served us she tried so hard to be professional in difficult circumstances . Thank you.

Came here with some friends looking for a nice Italian meal, the food was cooked to perfection and the staff were beyond helpful. Giving us great suggestions and were so funny, we had a right laugh with our waitress. Will be coming back!

Not been to a Tony Macaronis before so took our 2 sons there pre theatre and was overall a bit underwhelmed especially given what we paid. Ordered 3 pizzas, the macca cheese and a bowl of chips. Portions are decent. The chips arrived burnt and cold so I asked for a fresh bowl, and was given some, albeit a much smaller bowl. Tasted like oven chips. The Mac cheese was gobbled up although I was told mine at home is better! Pizza tasted nice enough but my capricciosa had what tasted like tinned mushrooms and not especially nice artichoke. Bill arrived with an automatic service charge and gratuity on top of what is already not great value for money. All in all, wouldn’t rush back to what was ultimately, at best, a forgettable meal. There are hundreds of great places to eat in Edinburgh and sadly, this ain’t one of them.

What was once a decent restaurant is now a husk of its former self. We had the penne contadina and rigatoni sugo di carne and both left a bad taste in our mouth. The taste was almost non-existent and the sauces were just not correctly made as they were just tasteless liquid. The service was ok though we had to ask to get some cheese on the pasta. Moreover, the restaurant has lost its past elegance and is quite loud now. Not sure what changed lately, but Tony Macaroni is nothing like it was a few years back.

It’s a great place for dinners I orders the pizzas and they literally served me the entire pizza which was loaded and humongous and delicious 🤤

We went on a Sunday around 2pm. The atmosphere was great! It wasn't overly busy but wasn't empty either. It was a relaxed atmosphere. The food was lovely! I've been to this Tony's a few times before and the foods always been great. Our server was lovely and we even had a great chat about the local ice hockey team.

Myself and 3 others went to Tony Macaroni at the Omni Centre in Edinburgh last night before seeing a show in the Edinburgh Playhouse. When we first arrived we were instantly put off by the loud music playing in the restaurant we could hardly hear each other speak. We ordered our meals, a few minutes later the waiter came back to tell me they had no lasagne, I was disappointed and shocked that a busy restaurant on a weekend had no lasagne but anyway I ordered something else. When our food came, the pizza that was ordered with pepperoni instead of Italian sausage came with no toppings at all and was just a plain cheese pizza. We ordered the Pollo alla Milanese and changed the penne arrabbiata to spaghetti arrabbiata but it came with the spaghetti carbonara instead which is not what we asked for. The waiter was too rushed and was not listening to us properly when we were ordering our meals hence the multiple mistakes. I don't think he could understand us either and should have double checked our order with us before walking away. I don't even think he wrote any of our order down. When telling him that our food wasn't correct, he still wasn't listening to us and could not understand our issue and he seemed to be too busy thinking about what he needed to do next. The Pollo ai Funghi for £16.50 was an absolutely rip off with the smallest bit of chicken breast ever. The only positive thing about our meal was our desserts which was a simple ice cream sundae that not much can go wrong with. When we received the bill at the end, we had been charged for the lasagne they never had as well as the meal I got instead. We left the restaurant not satisfied at all and very disappointed.

We've booked our table for 6.30pm , but We've arrived earlier (6pm). I asked to order some drinks while we waited we were told someone would be over. It didn't happen. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. If our order was repeated back to us we may have identified an error. If the music wasn't unnecessarily loud the waitress might have heard us. Loud music in a busy restaurant doesn't build an atmosphere the busy humm of humans over background music can do the trick. All of our food arrived at the same time. Including the wrong starter. Which was then replaced for the correct one. We had already decided to eat our mains by then as the children were hungry. So we had sharing chicken wings gor dessert. The food was very nice but at no point was our table checked upon, or additional drinks offered. Yet your happy to put a service charge on the bill and question why I don't want to pay it. A hint: it's in the name "Service charge"

Food was very poor quality. The service was poor as well. Waste of money.

Ordered lasagne, arrived as a mass of pulp with no clear pasta or meat, just a lot sauce. The air conditioning was as cold as it could get, being 4 centigrade outside was warmer. Service was not informative enough for the size of the food, nearly didn't fit on table. Lovely house wine. Won't be going again.

Hard review as went two nights in a row. Pizza/garlic bread fantastic but risotto on second night disgusting and cold, hu by had salmon pasta which was also only warm. Staff are lovely and did put the risotto in the microwave to heat it up but still vile and warm at best not hot. I did let staff know when paying the bill but nothing they could do really. Won't visit again for a while. A bit pricey for what it is.

I’ve been there twice in the past. Didn’t like their pizza and macaroni cheese. Both tasted bland, like someone else has already mentiomed in their review. Went again tonight after watching a movie at the Vue in Omni Centre. All the other restaurants were packed, so I thought I’d give Tony Macaroni a third and last chance. The penne all’arrabiata were actually really good (hemce the second star)! The chips I had on the side weren’t completely done, though. But what has made me decide to never return to Tony Macaroni is the poor service! Yes, they were very busy and possibly understaffed, but that’s not my / the guests’ problem. I waited for about half an hour to pay my bill! If they don’t care about guests paying for their food, why not just say so? I did pay my bill in the end, of course, but wouldn’t be surprised if there were guests now and then who got fed up with waiting and just walked out.
