Can be busy, but if you wait a few minutes the line gets processed. Lots of folks getting the Reuben. I had the Classic Salted Beef. It was a little dry, I think I was expecting corn-beef. It was still yummy, the mustard has a small kick. Can't beat the price and the wait was NOT long at all. I will be trying the Reuben next.

Ordered the ox meat box and have never been so disappointed. £10 for wet hunks of ox meat, slimy and cold, served with a portion of greasy undercooked fries. No extras, no sauce, nothing. Can't understand the hype at all.

Menu prices online are not based on reality. £11 for the "large" Reuben, £9 for the salt beef. My reuben was actually rather disappointing. Then once you consider the outrageously high price actually paid it's a double whammy. Overall the whole sandwich was bland; the brisket cold and stringy, the mustard, pickles and sauerkraut flavourless. I couldn't taste the one tiny slice of cheese and I got given exactly 1 tiny napkin to clean up. The line however did move quickly.

If you're ever in London you gotta try The Reuben. It was £9 for the regular (£12 for L) and it was so good I wanted to go back and order another! Meat was tender and soft, the sauerkraut was well pickled and the bread had bits of cumin in it! Absolute yum!

Nice spot to fulfill your desire for slow cooked meat. Mostly meant for takeaways, but has some space inside. Will come back to try the ox tongue.

Tucked away around the bustling food market but an absolute gem of a spot. Healthy portion size with very high quality meat. Perfect for a lunch in the office. Friendly polite staff and quick moving service.

Typically go for the beef baguette or the salt beef sandwich. Reasonable price compared to other places nearby and the service is always quick. Would recommend going before 1pm because that’s when Leather Lane market gets really busy and you may have to queue. It’s pretty much take-out only. A great lunch

The brisket (salt beef) baguette I had for my lunch when in London (Farringdon) from 'Tongue & Brisket' was superb. The staff were very friendly too. You can get take out or there is a small indoor dining area available... I will be returning soon. Awesome.

Meltingly magnificent salt beef sandwiches. Also the Reuben salt beef sandwich is substantial and full of flavour combining the satisfying textures of sauerkraut and cheese. Don't forget to ask for the sliced pickle to go in the sandwiches! Haven't yet tried the other tempting items like turkey. Very helpful staff.

We used to go to the Leather Lane branch on a Monday morning for our weekly fix of chopped liver and fried fish balls. The staff at Leather Lane are a delight. We now go to Goodge Street and the staff there are also very friendly and helpful. We have also bought salt beef from both branches and it is beautifully cooked.

The salt beef has been both good and bad the times I've used this place. On one occasion it was inedible like leather but the other times it's been either good or OK. The staff have a way about them sometimes which I'm not keen on. Once I wasn't concentrating as it was busy and I have agorophobia, they ended up adding lots more meat than i needed. As i was flustered by the crowds I paid. Last time i asked for no gherkins. I cannot eat them due to a cucumber allergy. He put them on nontheless and I tried to tell him I can't eat the bread now as it's touched the cucumbers. He sighed, begrudgingly changed the bread, then questioned why I wanted saurkraut on my sandwich. "its the same..haha' he smugly exclaimed. I explained it's not at this point frankly wishing to exit asap... paid and left feeling rather embarrassed to be questioned about my allergy and food choice. Not sure I'll go again as I felt bad afterwards and the salt beef bagel was Ok but not worth the price.

It is a bit too packed and inconvenient time to collect, but clearly, the best brunch/lunch Halal brisket as well. Kosher foods are 10/10. I don't live around there. However, I do must say it is exquisitely right to the tongue. I'm not sure how I can articulate this further. Best get yourself one.

Had a salt beef sandwich as a filling breakfast, along with a latka. Service was quick and very friendly and the sandwich was absolutely packed with meat. The mustard and pickle add flavour and we are definitely coming back to try a Reuben. Warning that the potato latka is incredibly filling-seriously makes a McDonald's hash brown look tiny in comparison.

I didn't like the meat that much, but I don't like meat that much anyway. Although the taste was ok, but it smelled like tuna to me. That's why I didn't like it.

Now that might seem quite a lot of money but for a very good and well packed salt beef sandwich it represented very good value. Of course it was also very tasty indeed!
