Dessert looks very attractive in the fridge. I tried the matcha tofu cake as shown but do not taste much as these ingredients. For Sushi bowl - sushi are fresh and tasty. However, the rice underneath the sushi are fully soaked with Japanese white vinegar. Completely weird. It’s the first time I ate the heavy taste of vinegar in every bite of rice bowl. Delivery is fast. Staff is moderately friendly. Eat in is around 20% more than take away. Special price for Soho? For fancy pictures and hello kitty fan, it might earn a higher rating. For real foodie, I find it over-rated and expensive.

We came here for a quick bite to eat and ordered the Okanawa Poké which is a fried tofu salad style bowl served cold and you can choose rice or noodles with it. It was delicious! The other hot dish we had was aubergine Poké. It was good, too. The place has a couple of seats upstairs and then more seating downstairs. You order and pay upstairs at the counter before getting your food. The food arrived really quickly. The service was good and friendly and the food is very affordable despite being in the middle of London.

I found the Tombo Japanese Cafe food to be very good, I originally went to this place as a catch up with a good friend after being shared the Instagram page and we thought it well worth a look. The food selection here is small but very fresh and very good. The menu also offers Vegetarian/Vegan options which is a nice touch. I opted the the Miso Aubergine & Tofu Don, Which I have to say was amazing! I normally eat slowly, But I was relishing this. I also had my first Matcha dish here in the form of it’s Tokio Sundae, Which was very nice an better than normal Green the ice creams I have had which I normally really like. The atmosphere it’s quanit but not cramped and although a cafe it does have a fresh and urban look to it. As mentioned the menu selection is good and the presentation of the food always makes it extra special when the waiter arrives certainly making it Instagram worthy in the lighting. The staff were helpful and pleasant and it didn’t seem overly busy at all in the middle of Soho I’ll certainly be dinning here again.

£12 for a bowl of rice and tiny thin cuts of fish.. the biggest disappointment after reading all the good reviews. I don’t know why would anybody want to come back seeing how stingy they are towards customers. Spending £23 on two poke bowls which tasted worse than wasabi sushi set costing £5.. I’ll never come back and would not recommend if you don’t want to feel cheated on

I popped in on Saturday afternoon while wandering around soho and ended up making my own Poke bowl - half rice and half courgette base with salmon, tuna, avocado, edamame, and tempura crumbs - it was delicious! I opted to eat in, snagging the last counter seat (there are only three tables and four counter stools) and got a glass of green tea to go with my bowl. During the 20 minutes I was there a dozen people came in for matcha drinks or match desserts and they all looked terrific!

Tombo Poke & Matcha Bar is a ba in Soho and it proposes very nice matcha drinks and tasty icecream. The place is clean, pleasant but the service is quite slow - at least when i was there, on sunday afternoon-. I had to ask the waiter where were my orders, becasue after 20 minutes I was still waiting for my ice creama nd matcha tea. To sum up it is a nice place but it needs to give a better service.

The matcha drinks and icecream were really good, however, the experience was spoiled by the place being late to open (we came specially to the place and had to wait behind the door for more than 5 min.), the staff was clearly tired or in a bad mood and that was obviously expressed on her face. No music, the place not cozy to eat/drink-in. Would recomend take-away.

I've been coming to tombo for over a year now and the food and service has always been excellent. The prices are very reasonable and there are good options for vegans/vegetarians/meat eaters. The matcha soft serve is probably the best in London and I've tried many places! The matcha is strong but not overpowering and is sweet but not sickenly as some cafes tend to do. I will keep coming here for my matcha and poké cravings!
