I orderd a pizza and it smelt like BO!!! Disgusting.

Order food the food came cold when i rang them Staff very rude when asked how long it will be all i got off him was its on its way still no show of the fresh food

Order was completely wrong ketchup tastes like it’s 6 months out of date, (yes ketchup) they put offers on they can’t fulfill why people order from there

Ordered food at 8.17pm it arrived at 22.50 I had to chase it twice once at 21.50 and was told it was leaving in 5 mins then at 22.25 to be told it had left so keep an eye out. Food arrived stone cold and the drinks were wrong.

Shocking 2.5 hours for deleivery then they have a convo with the workers and then start swearing very professional staff NOT!!!

Gone down hill a bit….I have to admit. 1) Did an order over the phone for collection as previously been a bit stung for delivery costs here (hidden extras added you know what I mean). 2) collected but was told on arrival ‘cash only’. 3) travel half a mile down the road to code and draw cash as no cash on person. - food going cold - 4) travel back, milkshake forgot about but the guy was nice enough and made it rapid. He also apologised for not mentioning on the phone 📱 cash only. Fairs I thought. 5) got home food half cold at this point. The burger was a wreck, soaked with fat brioche bun and inedible rat meat burger, chicken not too bad but slightly funny taste. Pizza amazing - fresh veg and dough great - pizza deal on so bargain for £6 would highly recommend. There version of cherry tomatoes is a main beef tomato chopped up 😂also wouldn’t let me change toppings - advised over he phone extra toppings are £2 each and you have to stick to the main menu toppings if you want the £6 pizza deal. 6) missus said kebab was ok but she felt sick after it (maybe eaten too much as huge and generous amount 😬). Milkshake - great 10/10. All in all won’t be using for a while as spent £30 and not the best experience but we use tokies for a change now and then. Let themselves down a bit today but… The guys in the shop at bridge are nice and polite so I feel a little sad writing this but honesty and a bit of tough love wouldn’t go amiss I feel 👍☺️

Payment method wouldn't work on Website so rang to pay over the phone. He said cash only then just hung up!!!! Don't bother. Shocking customer service

It's always a wonderful experience at tokies. The food and desserts are absolutely wonderful but I must confess I love the Bob Marley the best.

Ordered 3 meat kebab and portion of chips. Received meat with chips and separate chips. Food banging though. Quick delivery.

Order delivered for 4 people, first time we've used Tokies and we really enjoyed the food. Delivery was quick too. We all agreed it was pretty good all around so thanks.

Always great food and the best service. If we ever have a takeaway it will always be Tokies as it is consistently fantastic, never had a bad meal. Pizzas are amazing, burgers are as good as any fancy place in Manchester, and the milkshakes are to die for. Delivery is always much faster than quoted and if there are any issues with the order they phone to let you know straight away and offer an alternative for you. Staff are always very polite and friendly, in store, on the phone, and the delivery drivers. Best takeaway in Tameside for sure!

Awful delivery person driving the Tokies branded car from Crompton onto Mottram Rd Stalybridge around 5pm on 12 December. Everyone has somewhere to be. Cutting in on people using the left lane to turn right when there's a car on the right, turning right is rude and dangerous.

Well there is this time and last time we ordered they gave a vegitarian a meat order and didnt appologise or compensate. today an offer wasn't honoured when I received for all November, so told them I have two upset children now and it's nor even cheap.

Have been to tokies for a number of years but not regular, called in quite late on 15/11/23, The manners, service and attitude of the main till operator was shocking ( like I was a problem for them buying their food) 🤔 food was quite nice! But until the staff improves how they treat the CUSTOMER. I won't be going back! Management needs to address this.

Quality food, very clean inside. Customer service is 10/10. Gave me a free tango ice blast because my order took 10 mins instead of 5. Other takeaways take notes. Edit, I've dropped my rating from 5 to 1. Last 4 orders the bin on my burger was dripping with water at the bottom, even though I mainly eat it in my car a few mins after it was made. Final straw was my last order went in for my usual burger chips and tango ice blast and the price has almost doubled. Staff are still great but I'm not paying 16 quid for a soggy burger when it used to be 9, not exactly a subtle increase.

Decent pizza but nothing special. Especially when they offer £5 12 inch pizza for £5 but then want to charge you £7.50 extra for delivery and service charge for 2 mile delivery!!!! Not a chance. You can get domino's for that!!!!!!

Oredered the classic cheeseburger meal which comes with fries. The burger was so thick and gristly that I couldnt finish it off due to it making me cringe. The fries were cold and stale. Maybe the other burgers are cooked better but this meal was enough for me to never try this takeaway joint again.

Disgusting food freezing cold when it arrived chips cold and hard Pita bread was so soggy it just dropped to bits had a disgusting texture to it 🤮 Both meals had to go in the oven to warm up so we could eat them. What a waste of £20! Definitely won’t order again

We ordered a £10 kebab last night which should be £5 due to offer for April delivered just around the corner it still cost £10. When I questioned the driver he stated it was plus process and delivery. Won't be doing that again feel like we were ripped off. Didn't happen when we had the burger offer delivered 😕

Ordered the mega box and it comes with two tango ice blast which I didn’t receive rang them and they said they will get someone to bring them and they never turned up.

Food was OK. Staff wearing glov3s while handling money and food. Also in and out of shop while wearing the same gloves handling food with.

The perfect kebab for a diabetic with high cholesterol.... I can't stand wasting food or money but whatever this red thing was cost 20 quid and was more plastic than Katie Price so went straight in the bin...have had Kebabs all around the world but that has to be the worst/weirdest ever

Ordered 'Get Stuffed or Die Trying Burger' online for collection. Food was ready in good time and service was friendly. The cheese, turkey and chicken were nice. The burger patty was thick and weighty, but unfortunately was fatty and seemed 'cheap'. It tasted meh and some mouthfuls I was left with a residual of gristle to swallow that put me off finishing the meal. Maybe I'm being too fussy.

Raw food!! Phoned to tell them and after a long discussion, they agreed to send replacements. However, when delivered they were also raw. Pizza and naan bread were just dough. Rang again and was met with a torrent of abuse and then the phone hung up. Refused refund. Never again!!🤢🤢🤢

We have ordered from this place a few times and had no trouble however after a long hiatus we decided to order again. Took quite a while to deliver but accepted this. When the food came the pizza looked as though it had been man handled and the toppings and cheese was stuck to the top of the box. The burger was good as usual but the fries were cold due to delivery taking so long. We called to ask for another pizza and said it would take around an hour so asked for a refund and they declined the refund and requested we come to the shop which we could not do.

What an absolute joke! Ordered the food online and was accepted almost immediately, had the status showing as preparing food for over an hour. We rang the restaurant to chase the food and they said "oh sorry, we don't deliver to your area (3miles away) and we've cancelled the order" no contact, no nothing. Abysmal service

I used to love this place top notch kebabs,garlic etc...but last few orders have been terrible!food arrives incorrect,stone cold,and late!always when mamu delivers!today was the last straw.i usually order twice a week on average,not anymore!such a shame,they have gone downhill.

Not great had a kebab last night all I can say was we were all toilet bound.

The issue with businesses is they can hide behind non contact! If you have an issue with an order they revert to a landline - and not answer it! Ordered a chicken tikka and kofta kebab with salad and sauce. Received chicken tikka and pitta and nothing else. Could I get hold of them? Basically no! I tried ringing them but to no avail. Can you email them? No! This is a prime example of how businesses and companies can delivery an extremely poor level of service with no recompense. One you have paid there is no comeback at all. So disappointed

Just picked up my kebab and to my disappointment it wasn’t nice salad was just full of onions and the chicken was too hot to even eat waste of money 😞

Good milkshakes although I don't feed their is a wide variety of food to choose from.

The only takeaway I use that is consistently good. The burgers are immense and the chips are great, as are the pizzas. Prices are crazy cheap. Delivery is always fast and their drivers are so friendly. Will always use Tokies. Just a suggestion, if you could look into starting to do smash patty burgers that would be amazing.

Decent kebabs and the kids love the pizza. For some reason they have drastically reduced the size of the portion of chips which is disappointing. However one can’t complain about that he size of the kebabs. They are huge! Delivery is always fast and the food comes hot and fresh. If you agree to text offers, they will occasionally offer things like a free ice blast with a burger etc.

Fantastic burger pizzas and shakes

I first visited here the very first week that they opened and the kebab was that terrible that it ended up in the bin and they immediately lost a potential customer! I recently heard that they had introduced 'red doner' kebab. I thought I'd give it a try and do not regret that decision. It is clear that this is a well-run takeaway, stopless clean and the quality of the ingredients looks like it has massively improved since my first visit. Many years ago, Continental Kebab shop was the undisputed king of kebabs in Tameside and since they changed hands and rebranded, we have not had a really great kebab in Stalybridge (in my opinion). Tokies have hit a winner with the red doner as it is undoubtedly the tastiest doner kebab in Tameside, moist, flavourful and large portions. This is now the new king of kebabs in Stalybridge! I'm looking forward to trying other items on their menus as they all look delicious. Well done guys for making such a huge improvement to your menu!

Staff was friendly but food was not that great and not a good value for money. Oreo Milkshake was ok but grilled chicken bagel was not that satisfying or tasty. Sweet potato wedges were soggy and soft.

5* for high standards of cleanliness through out the property after conducting a Commercial Gas Safety Inspection. Even the Stockroom. Very professional set up indeed. The food itself it was amazing quality. The staff have been excellently trained.

Average kebabs. Undercooked naan bread, bland donner kebab, a strange looking dinner meat that’s supposed to be made of Turkey. Salad isn’t great either. I would try else where. 5/10 - £10 mixed kebab

Burger wanted to fall apart and a little slow, but they ate always busy so I forgive them on that part, and certainly cant argue on portion sizes. Please dont be so stingy on sauces on your burgers though, the public are paying a premium.
