Kami Peri Peri in Tameside

So 3 meals i have ordered from this place and by far the best peri peri chicken i have eaten . It always turns up roasting hot full of flavour really tender and just a real pleasure to eat. Keep it up guys 100 percent a must try if you havnt already.

I don’t usually post negative reviews but feel like it might be useful to prevent too many people having to wait around too long for their food. We placed our order at 8.30pm and it arrived at 22.35. I’d made 2 phone calls to the restaurant in this time to check our order hadn’t been missed (my feeling is that it had) and to ask why the app says our food had been delivered when it hadn’t. Status info on the app isn’t accurate, delivery times are way too long and the chips were cold and cardboardy. That being said, the chicken was ok (not particularly hot but wasn’t cold) but I wouldn’t rush to order from here again which is a shame as we used to love it.

Shocking service, low quality food, filthy establishment! Avoid at all costs!

Superb food but once in a while the standard drops we use this 3 to 4 times per week Out of 20 times there may be 1 where the standard is a little bit of their usual standard They always make it up if you let them know

Absolutely great takeaway! The portion size is great, plenty of cheese on the cheesy chips, chips are crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, their generous with the chip spice and their burgers are fresh. Can't fault this place, its going to be our go to, if you live near by then I'd recommend it!

Food was freezing cold after the 1hr 40 mins wait. Ordered a kids chicken strip meal and the chicken was so spicy that my daughter couldn’t eat it. Left a review on just eat and the restaurant replied and straight out lied. You did NOT stand at my door for 13 mins knocking. We were sat waiting, a brand new baby a meter from the door, AND we have a ring camera which proves you lied. Please, maybe think of another excuse for your poor service when the customer can prove you wrong. The food was put straight in the bin. Frozen rubbish.

Honestly good spicy chicken burger and wings was best about here however the coleslaw was another level brought the spice of burger down with creamy texture highly recommend around tameside area.

Staff are rude, sides are not great but the chicken is really good. Takes a long time to arrive.

Just lie on the phone to you. Please look at the comical cheesy chips as well. One scoop of cheese sauce and some chips that tasted like they'd been sat there for a week. Do yourself a favour and get a Nandos.

I ordered food at 20:00 and at 21:20 I rang the restaurant to check where my order was. The manager told me they had only just received a delivery of chicken and that they were cooking my order. They said it would be 15 minutes with no prior deliveries. At 22:00 I still hadn’t received my order so tried to ring the restaurant again. However they kept putting the phone down and not answering. At 22:30 (2 half hours later) my ordered arrived. The delivery man told me that he had to drop other orders off first and due to this our food was stone cold!!! Absolutely waste of time and money.

Waited 2½ hours for our food, when it turned up, our food was stone cold, and hard like it was left for day it was vile and disgusting, wont be ordering from them again

Absolute awful experience. All the order was freezing. I ordered a chicken breast fillet pitta, half way threw the chicken breast was a bone which I chewed on, luckily I notice before swallowing. The chicken was rock hard. I will not be ordering from there again.

Used Kami’s tonight got a large order. Said delivery would be in 20-30 mins which I thought would be optimistic but to be fair it was here in 35. Everything correct, chicken was great and all sides tasty. Thanks guys

Absolutely disgusting. My husband ordered food yesterday peri peri chicken with garlic bread. And guess what I had the bread and it had mould in it. Just saw it on ne stopped. This is absolutely ridiculous and would not order food here again. It’s a shame I cannot share the picture of the food right. But will definitely send it on their Facebook page

I paid for kami's special burger 10f which has an 8.50 cheater on offer, nothing special this burger

Orderes food. After an hour and half it hadn't shown up. Rung shop and was told it would be ten minutes. Half an hour passed and still nothing. Then tried ringing shop and they had took the phone off the hook. Joke. Will never ever use again.

Trying to ring your shop you have given the completely the wrong order and nowhere near to the value of what I have paid!!!!! Can you please answer the phone!!

Not even great food, average at best, took 3 hours to come, 40 missed calls later and we had to go and pick it up ourselves because our calls were being ignored, only to see it going cold on the side, not happy at all and it’s not even the first time this has happened here, will not be ordering again ever !!!!

Just ordered from kami’s in Denton which is usually spot on but boy has it been a disappointment to say the least!! First they went to the wrong location, they allege. They then sent my order out again to the wrong location yet again despite clearly providing my address. Food was cold, dry and the totally wrong order! I then rang up to try and advise them of this to which the guy on the phone shouted “im a stupid b****” and hung up. Clearly someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ But yeah im currently starving and and dogs are crying….

Food is nice when you can your full order without items missing within a reasonable time. Seems to be taking longer and longer delivery times also items missing. Whoever answers phone when they can be bothered hasnt any customer service skills.

Ordered food was houhalf past due time so tried ringing couldn't get through at all.. had to order from somewhere else as I had child to feed.. used just eat have to wait 2 weeks to receive feed back on getting my money back as guy turned up later and was told to go.. 2 weeks later thought give try again may been bad night which leads to tonight ordered food but decided to ring up make sure same didn't happen again guy was rude on phone put phone down and now noones answering do not waste your time in money on this place complete waste.. staff need to learn some skills on how to deal with public attitude like that face to face get you punch in mouth by allot round here..

Edited. Thought id try again. Very slow delivery took over 95 min when quoted 75 min on website. The chicken was dry on both the burger and the wrap, very hard to eat. Ended up in bin. The wings were cold. Chips were okay. Wont be ordering again. Don't understand why everyone raves about this place. Ordered platter the chicken was really good and the salad fresh, however I asked for cheese on the garlic bread and got cheese on the whole chicken and the wings :/ also the rice is really bad I had to throw it, the garlic bread is just frozen slices. The tubs of sauce were really good thou. Mix bag really. I defo order chicken again but will probably try other sides

Absolutely shocking delivery time, I waited over 1 1/2 hours for 1x chicken pitta ane 3x chicken wings (that weren't great) won't eat there again.

Ordered meal, said it would take 90 mins, it was ordered at half 5, it is now 8 and still no clue on this as they have just said it is on the way. Last time I will order from here.

I first came to Kamis after hearing good things about it from friends and family. I heard it was as good as Nando’s but for a much cheaper price. I was sceptical but thought I’d give it a go. Wow. The food is absolutely incredible. I usually order a peri hot wrap with peri fries. It’s amazing food and the price is so so reasonable. I’ve ordered from here a number of times now and the food is made ready to collect within 30 mins, the staff are so friendly and they have NEVER made a mistake with our order (unlike many other takeaways 😂). Great work! I would definitely recommend.

Service is very very shocking due to the guys attitude absolutely stinking. I rang up to order and pick up delivery, The guy told me there too busy to be taking any over the phone and then put the phone down on me. Little did he know I was 2 mins away so I went in and the same guy was taking a order on the phone! I placed my order in person however when I collected it was all wrong. I Rang up to complain and they told me to bring back what was wrong wich was a chicken wrap ect when back in he opened the chicken wrap and tried telling me what was wrong with it and then I had to ask for fresh as it all had gone cold instead of offering wich is normal for any food outlet. word of advice change your staff befor he runs your customers away Iv now edited my review as iv rang up on the 7/4/2021 for the second time to order food. kammys answers and iv just been told I'm barred from ordering because I'm honest of how they treated me as a customer really appallingly. Tut tut that why they have secret shoppers

First and last time I order from here was 50 minutes after my delivery time it turned up no apologies food was cold waste of money.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews and when I do it means I’m really not Happy with a service, I ordered my food at 6.45pm Friday evening and I asked for it to be pre ordered for 8pm so gave them enough time to cook 5 chicken wings and 1 chicken breast! I finished work at 8 and waited till 8.20pm to ring them and asked where my food was, the man said I had to wait another half an hour which would take me to 8.50pm!!! A while 2 hours and 15 mins after I ordered. He didn’t care that it was late he wasn’t bothered he didn’t apologise, there was no I’m so sorry you can have free delivery next time. So I cancelled my order as I was starving and ordered form somewhere else and picked it up in 10 mins. Will never ever recommend this take away or eat there again. Doesn’t not take 2 hours and 15 mins to cook 5 chicken legs and a chicken breast.

I have just ordered from Kamis, the app stated it would be 75 minutes delivery which set my expectations, when it arrived after 55 minutes I was happy. The food came and was left at my doorstep by the polite driver , as I opened it it was steaming fresh .. as I ate it it was amazin. Fresh. Flavoursome. Spicy. Just as I wanted it .. can’t praise this outlet enough 5+ stars for me x x x well done Kamis

I never found a take away that blew me away until today. I ordered a full platter, with full hot chicken, 2 per peri fries, garlic bread and 3 different dippings. The food was hot, chips crispy and lovely, dips were so good. The chicken was the best. Truly hot(spicy) if u wish it, tender, the charcoal flavour was the best, even the garlic bread had it. Food was delivered in 20 minutes. Really impressive. I will order again!

Kamis is my favourite! Chicken is so juicy and non fat, just falling off the bone! Amazing peri peri chips!

The food is amazing but delivery time is absolutely unacceptable ordered food at 7.30pm on a thursday still waiting at 9.30. Will be off to bed before I can even eat it at this rate.

Tiny chicken fillet just doused in hot sauce. Chips were re-fried. Nothing was even fresh. The chicken fillet was about half the size of the bun! Wouldn't bother visiting this place for the price they are charging.

1st time was good, nice juicy wings, plenty of flavour. Ordered again! Wow.. What a change. Big disappointment. Burger burnt, peri wings was meant to be extra hot but instead it had no peri marinade neither any flavour other than it was so burnt, it went straight to the bin. When i rang, then they offered apology and said 25% discount on next order. The entire meal was inedible as it was bitter due to burnt. Im shocked that even though the owner was there, how could they even send out food like that.

Hands down the best peri peri in Tameside, when we move this place will be high on the list of what we’ll miss. Also always get the peri chips

Great chicken. Get a pitta. They're lovely. The peri chips are the best ever. Used to do amazing salads though, and a few months ago I'd have given kami's 5 stars. Recently though, theyve lacked the usual care in their food. No olives in the Greek salad, even when I requested it (should not have to, it's on the menu!) I commented on it and not even a response from the restaurant, it's like the care has gone :( Change the menu, or make it properly?!

Food is fantastic. Wraps are really good. Peri fries are decent too. Sadly only 3 stars as the service and delivery times really let it down. Last night we were told a 30 minute wait when we walked in without ordering a collection. So we asked if it could be delivered and the lady advised 90+ mins for that so we decided to leave it. Seems as though they may be understaffed as only 2 people in the shop. Still worth a try if you have the time to wait 😁

Order from here 3 times. First time brilliant quick and tasty. The next time it took 1 1/2 and when it arrived was cold, had to heat it up and the chicken was dry. We thought we would give it another go.... 2 hours we waited for our food. After being told twice that it was on its way, we cancelled the order!!

The chicken is marinated and grilled freshly. The marinades are unique and carefully thought out. The secret recipe chips with special peri salt are unlike anywhere else. Well worth a visit.

Ordered £35 worth of food. Chicken was good but even the lemon and herb had heat to it, not good if you don't like spice. Coleslaw not nice! Missed all the sauces from the combo meal, and missed a drink from another combo meal! When I rang up they just said they had no drivers available to bring the drink and would not refund! Technically theft!

If you like nandos then youll love kami's had delivery and it arrived hot and fresh!! If you work for the NHS you get 10% discount but only for pick orders. Highly recommend

Where to start. Monday night treat. Waited over an hour so checked on their website which said our food had been delivered so I phoned the shop who said They just put that when they leave 🤔 I asked how long the lady told me 2 minutes it would be here. 20 minutes later still no food at this point I'm getting peed off so I ring again the man who answered told me it will be there when it's there he was so rude I asked to speak the the manager he said I am the manager and slammed the phone down I have never come across such a rude person It the food finally arrived freezing cold. I will never ever order from here again so annoyed I spent money here avoid........

The food here is generally good but when you are left to wait for so long, you start to pick holes out of every bite. If no driver they should just be upfront. Small portions of rice as well

Wasn’t the best. The garlic bread was extremely soggy and wasn’t nice at all. The chicken was average and the chips were cold. Doubt I’ll be going back.

If you love Nando's then you'll love the chicken from here. It's essentially the same and its just as tasty. We order it quite often and we have never been let down. Whether we pick up or get it delivered, its always fresh, hot and very tasty! I believe they have "local legend" status on JustEat now.

Ordered Kami’s on 06/01 around half 10 after being out for a few drinks. Well safe to say Nando’s has serious competition in my books as this was so tasty. Ordered s grilled chicken wrap, double chicken breast burger and got 10 hot wings. The garlic bread is gorgeous. We ordered everything extra hot and my oh my, just how we like it. Will definitely be ordering again soon!

We have this as delivery regularly as it's so good quality and tasty! And the place itself is clean, bright and professional. Everybody is polite. Would highly recommend the lemon and herb chicken fillet burger with Peri fries, and houmous is lush 👍🏻

Tasty, healthy, well prepared with polite staff and very clean premises. Definitely on a par with Nandos but far lower expense. Would highly recommend.

Genuinely the tastiest chicken I have ever eaten. The hottest is definitely hot but so so moreish. The peri peri chips are amazing. Nobody goes once.... You have to return!
