T.O.G Taste of Germany in Epsom and Ewell

My new go to... bread is great, salad is great, generous portions and most importantly the meat is great quality! They deliver far and It'd always hot, chips crispy when they arrive. No other local kebab delivery compares to this place!

Food Made with love and service in mind. Very well sauced Fries( if you ask for it) Very diverse but conscise menu from from mozzarella sticks to kebabs and burgers. One meal will definitely make you full for hours in comparison to mcdonald’s and other big name branches. I like the interior design too as my favourite colour is red. Taste of Germany is definitely worth that money.

We have been loyal customers of this place for a long time, ordering three to four times a week. At first, the food was consistently great, and we always looked forward to our meals. However, over time, the quality has gone downhill. At first, we ignored small issues, assuming they were just one-off mistakes, but lately, it has become a pattern. Today’s order was by far the worst, and we were so disappointed that we couldn’t even eat it. The biggest issue was that the chicken tikka arrived completely cold. When ordering a dish like this, you expect it to be fresh and hot, but it felt like it had been sitting around for ages before being packed for delivery. This isn’t the first time we’ve noticed problems with temperature, but today it was worse than ever. Cold food is not only unpleasant to eat, but it also raises concerns about freshness and food safety. On top of that, the food itself just didn’t taste right. It seemed rushed, poorly prepared, or possibly made with old ingredients. One of the most frustrating parts of the meal was the sauce. I had specifically requested extra sauce, but instead of adding a reasonable amount, it felt like someone had poured an entire bottle onto the food. It was completely overpowering and ruined the meal. To make matters worse, I didn’t ask for garlic sauce, yet they added it anyway. This shows a complete lack of attention to customer requests. When people place an order, they expect their preferences to be followed, not ignored. Another major issue is the inconsistency between in-store and online orders. The one time I ordered in person, the food was fantastic—hot, fresh, and made with care. However, every time we order online, the quality is noticeably worse. It feels like online customers are treated as less important, which is frustrating when we are paying the same price. Even the bread sometimes tastes old, which makes us wonder if fresh ingredients are only used for in-store orders. This lack of consistency is unacceptable, especially for loyal customers who order regularly. It’s a real shame because we used to love this place. We kept ordering because we believed in the quality of their food, but after so many disappointing experiences, we’re losing trust. Today’s meal was the worst yet, and it was a complete waste of money. No one wants to spend money on food they can’t even eat. We really hope the restaurant takes customer feedback seriously and makes improvements. If they can return to the quality they used to provide, we would love to continue ordering. However, if things don’t change, we’ll have no choice but to look elsewhere. A restaurant should value consistency and customer satisfaction, but unfortunately, that has been missing lately. This experience was incredibly disappointing, and unless things improve, they risk losing more loyal customers

Ordered the mix platter, onion rings, wings, nuggets, chips and more. Wow, best takeaway I've ordered in a long time. Delivery took a while, but it was a big ordered and worth the wait. All items delivered hot.

Awful awful awful ,can’t taste kebab as you can taste only strange spices , and the chicken supposedly to be a normal chicken not red spicy one , also the donner quality is awful. All went to the bin. Avoid!!!

Part of the order was missing. I called and was told they didn’t have that item. This madness they would sell the item if they didn’t have it. The person was also very rude and unhelpful.

Really hot on arrival, tastes really fresh and have to mention the nice crispy chips, not soggy ones like many delivery chips can be. Will def order again, thanks!

Slightly late (10 minutes) but food was absolutely delightful. The wrap bread felt homemade or at least very good quality and the meat was decent. Not greasy at all. I’ll be back!

Generous portion sizes at decent prices. I've never liked kebabs before but this is the ONLY place I'll eat one from cause they taste so good. if you're trying to decide between here and 'german doner kebab' in epsom always choose this place!

Really nice kebab meal chips and drink. I ordered late 00:50 hrs Arrived a little early but didn’t matter as was hungry. Food was loverly and hot. Could have done with a few more chips. Beef doner? Not sure why they don’t do lamb? But all in all was very nice. Would recommend👍

Never got the chance to sample the food. I walked in the door, and the lad behind the counter walked away. I stood there for perhaps a minute, then decided he obviously didn't want my custom, so I left.

Food is was average standard. A little overpriced. Chips were nice (on the skin). General hygiene wasn’t good, the seating area could do with a clean. Staff were friendly.

really tasty for a late meal the bead instead of pitta bread is really nice. the only thing I ordered a large and then added extra meat . I don't think I got that extra plus salad was fresh but again not much for the money. so probably if you want more for same price order early so more places open but if looking for food past midnight then go here !! just don't expect a Friday night donnor you'll still be hungry.

The owners of this shop are unbelievably amazing. My son accidentally his wallet in the shop and didn't even realise until the amazing owner/staff came to my door and returned it. My son doesn't have a huge amount of money and times are so hard but to find such honest, amazing people sadly are a one off these days. Honestly I'm blown away by the kindness and will always be so very thankful. Not only is your food the best around but to know it has been cooked by such amazing people make it that so much better. Taste really good would recommend

The delivery takes forever although the restaurant is 10 minutes drive why would I wait for about an hour I could literally travel to Country within this timeframe …. Lesson learnt never buy from you again

I don’t even care that it was a touch late, that was delicious!! Such a great flavour to the kofta and the shish and the chilli sauce was spot on. Just the right amount of salad, loads and loads of meat and the bread was wonderful. Will def order again

Ordered from here tonight for the first time in a long while. It’s even more delicious as it was as it was years ago, if not even better. The kebab folded in the classic German style wrap was incredible and I cannot recommend the double cheeseburger enough, it was ridiculously delicious. The staff kept me up to to date with my delivery time and were very helpful and polite. Since moving back to the area after many years after last having it, it’ll be my go to place for quick, delicious and fresh food. Thank you T.O.G

Really sad that the chicken has changed :( it was their signature dish! The first few times ordering TOG it was beautiful! Then they went downhill on a couple of occasions and I was soooo disappointed; I left a bad review and emailed them, however, that garnered no response - BUT this time they were back to their usual standard and we enjoyed our food so much. The chicken shish is like no other, and the guy on the phone is super friendly too. Thank you!

Very disappointed by the food quality. I ordered a beef wrap, the meat tasted awful more like lamp meat which I hate. Also, I ordered chilly sauce and there was non while my husband's chicken wrap was spice hot. Although he had no complaints with his wrap he said he has eaten better. My daughter was disappointed there was no pitta bread with her kids' doner meal. On the good side, the delivery was speedy, earlier than expected. Overall I believe we will look for another place next time we order.

I wanted to have a kebab and looked at the menu on TOG, I thought it sounded good as it was served in Turkish bread and not pitta bread that goes soggy, it didn’t disappoint, it was really good and I will recommend to my family & friends.

Lovely food and the doner box and wrap is excellent. We been going here for a long time. Only thing is sometimes they forget to add sauces asked, once we get home its missing. Otherwise all good

Always loved TOG...but last couple of orders taken over an hour to deliver, ordering direct with shop,and the large chicken shish kebab was tiny...bread is lovely...salad is chopped up and so small and hardly any chicken, will try elsewhere next time as not worth the money

I had to wait 2 hours for delivery food was very nice but .. by the time it came I was starving so . I think a pot of cat food would have tasted nice at that point

TOG is great , an. The grilled chicken shish kebabs in Turkish bread are lovely, as are the burgers, fries are the best ever , always really nice restaurant quality food ,lovely flavours, always delivered hot and fresh.
