Great mixed shawarma wrap. Meats were delicious, chilli sauce was on point but the addition of the chopped green chilli’s took it to the next level. Wrap was also made fresh in the tandoor oven. Great food and great value for money.

Food is great, their donner is actual meat not stuffed fats from donner factory.

Firstly, the guys who make the food can't understand English. This is where the problem started... Asked for a chicken shawarma wrap with just lettuce and chicken. Chips on the side. After 5 attempts of understanding what I am trying to say. He made a chicken shawarma with chips inside the wrap. Who puts chips inside a wrap?? Then his colleague started dressing the wrap l said again lettuce only!! He put chilli sauce on it. I said I've told you and your colleague chicken & lettuce and only. He tutted at me and tried to take chilli sauce off, and then served me the wrap anyway. I tried to explain to him how a 8 year old child can eat that chilli sauce, guy couldn't understand English. I literally felt like leaving the food there and walking out. Served me a mixed wrap with everything on, but didn't bother serving my chips with it. Even at the beggining he thought i wanted three wraps, i said no TWO!! Average shawarma, I've tasted better in other places. Place inside was dirty. Never again. Honestly don't waste your time at this place.

This place has been my go-to falafel spot for over eight years, and it never fails to hit the spot. The falafel is super fresh and crunchy. Their fatayer is also great. It's become my comfort food. Shoutout to the great crew, always serving good vibes with a side of tahini. Cheers to 8+ years of falafel love! 🥙

Cheap nice food, with big portions

I went into today restaurant yesterday 04/02/23 . With my friend to get some bites it was 1 o'clock. Guy who served me in his 20s with a little beard and tattoos. He is absolutely don't no how to do customer service. He said something to me so rude . I didn't said nothing . Couple min later he was so rude to the Somalian guy . By any means he should not service customers. I hope someone looking into that . Thanks

Very busy, went with my friend who'd been before who said it can be difficult to get served, with people not really queueing but that wasn't my experience, was served quickly and they were very friendly. Had a chicken samon, was pretty good and cheap for £3 and some fries.

Super fresh bread, super fresh salad and beautiful chicken and lamb. Prices are great. The fatayers are very good aswell.

Debido a la pandemia tuvimos que sacar algo para llevar. La fila afuera era bastante larga, nos llevó a mí y a mi familia a esperar 30 minutos para hacer nuestro pedido y luego otros 10 minutos para que se preparara la comida. Sin embargo, la comida estaba muy rica. Conseguí el shawarma en una especie de bap. La ensalada era fresca y la carne estaba bien cocida. El precio era muy razonable. Volvería otra vez, pero el tiempo de espera es ridículo, especialmente con los niños pequeños.

Poor service with rude staff. Manners don't cost anything. No order of serving customers. Prices are low but service was unsatisfactory.

The food is usually good but the service is awful, no real queues, serving anyone pushing in the queue, staff are very stuck up and standoffish. Shame really been going here since it opened.

Just visiting Manchester for few days but i honestly have to say the guys at Todays give a happy vibe to the place, very clean and dish up some pretty good food. Freshly prepared and cooked in house, fast and efficient . Highly recommended

Today cafe is actually on Grandale st, just off wilmslow road. Great place, been there many times, excellent for a quick lunch on the move, They make their own bread which is delicious and filled with either lamb or Shawarma and plenty of salad. Their falafel is lovely too. Why eat eat a greggs pasty or a McDonalds when you can have one of these for about £3.

I went for a quick bite to get myself a Chicken Shawarma and the service was very efficient. The quality of the food was great and surely has to be the best Shawarma in Manchester. I haven't had a good one like Today's Shawarma. Give it a try if you guys are Shawarma lovers.

Had the samoon, one of the ones I got was fresh out of the oven and it was amazing. Very good food. Only reason for slightly lower rating is because it was really cramped in store, some people weren't waiting in the queue properly and there was a lack of order from management. If you get the food and go it is brilliant

I went to the shop bought 2 naan with shawarma first the guy was very rude and then the food smell like dead dog.when I have them back either they apologise start fighting and even didn't return my money. Shame

Tiny place where things are made freshly in front of you. It's not posh, it's not complicated, but it's definitely value for money.

I’ve been eating here regularly for a year. The food is nice and cheap. There are a few tables you can usually squeeze onto if you want to eat in. However, the whole thing is chaotic and lacking organisation. There is no proper queue - sometimes people push in and they don’t care or notice. No one knows when they’re going to be served and it makes them tetchy. The staff are equally tetchy in return. Some staff are really nice and friendly but others are surly. Someone pushing in right in front of me in full view of the staff with no action taken - that was the last straw. I won’t return. I’ve found a much nicer place with lovely tables. If you want cheap, go here. Otherwise, go elsewhere.

Best place to go for a Fateha or shawrma pizza. No matter what time you go, the food is always good.

Me encanta venir a este lugar, unirme a la cola caótica y elegir tu Shawarma o falafel o pizza. Tuve un cordero Shawarma con panes de 2 nan, siempre cocinado muy rápido, un delicioso montón de cordero, repollo encurtido y ensalada. No hay aires y gracias comida adecuada, barata y alegre. Amo este lugar. Personal amigable.

¿Necesito decir mas? He estado comprando comida desde hace más de un año, pero nunca más después de hoy. Una cucaracha estaba abierta, corriendo por la zona de espera mientras mi compañero y yo esperábamos nuestra comida. Ni siquiera pude obligarme a comer el mío.

La pizza sólo se podía describir como sublime, aunque me hubiera gustado un todas las verduras por la opción de precio fijo (50 p por extra no provee la gran cantidad de coberturas que desee).

Had a chicken shawarma on naan, and two chicken pizzas. After reading so many excellent reviews about this eatery, we decided to give Today Restaurant a try, and it was the biggest mistake we've ever made: the food is addictive, and you just can't get enough of it! Their pizzas have to be the absolute BEST that we have EVER eaten. Yes, their food is that good! Food, although fresh, is served very quickly. The staff are very nice, and yes, they do confuse orders, but that only serves to make the experience all the more unbelievable. We cannot believe that we've found this gem of a place only now. We had sky-high expectations, and were not disappointed. We highly recommend giving this place a try.

Si sucedió en la Curry Mile, luego cordero de hoy shawarma en Samun no es 1 le debería perderse. . . Yo vivo en Manchester, por lo hecho durante su shawarma con frecuencia. La tienda es pequeña, siempre lleno y tiene plazas limitadas, pero su cordero shawarma es posiblemente el mejor de la ciudad y bien vale la pena para llevar si estás agarrando un almuerzo rápido cuando en la ciudad.

Yo vivo a la vuelta de la esquina de este para llevar en una casa de estudiantes y esto me parece muy práctico para llevar cuando estoy en un rush o simplemente no te apetece cocinar algo en casa. El queso vegetal fatayars son mis favoritas cosa a pedir del menú, que verlos crear fresca y ponerlo en el horno con la elección de verduras que quiero. Comida encantadora!

I have been here on many occasion, chicken fatayer £2.00 fresh, chicken shawarma £2.50, always busy, management could be better but its really busy, cheap and top quality food. Beats the others on price (jaffa) is kind of small and gets crouded.

Been here so many times now, thought I'd give it a deserved review. OK, it's not really a restaurant, but I did go today. I usually go for a Fatayer (£2) and it always does the job, but tried a pizza for the first time tonight and it was fantastic (chicken and pepperoni, £2.50), OK, it's not woodfired sourdough, but it's almost as good as, and it's £2.50! (you can't get a crust in some places in Manchester for that).I've been at various times and it's almost always busy; 6pm, 2am, doesn't matter, there's always a queue, and for good reason. The service is always speedy and everything's made fresh.In a time with so many 'street food' places that call themselves 'cheap eats' but actually take the piss, I'm so grateful we still have places like this.

Stopped here for my first naan lunch in Rusholme in 10 years while attending a conference. It maybe cheap but is so good with a fresh cooked naan. It was 1150 but busy so I knew it was the place.

I have been to Today Restaurant frequently for the past few years. The price has hardly risen, and the food has remained at an incredibly high standard. Chicken shawarma in samun is £2.50, always fresh, always good service and always delicious. The salad is 5 stars in its own.

I really like to go to this place to get a box of pizza because it's the cheapest among other restaurant. It is quite small place, but you can always have your pizza back at home. The pizza is also delicious and have a different kind of pizza compared to other places as well. Definitely my favourite place for pizza and forgot to mention, the garlic bread.

Visited here whilst shopping on wilmslow road. It was packed and so thought we would try it. We had a chicken Shawarma and my God it was delicious. Nans freshly baked and chicken freshly shaved off. The salad it comes with is so nice, it's different and addictive. Service is super fast and the prices are a bargain. My kids are picky eaters and they really enjoy the food here. Nd to try the chicken shawarma suman next. This is a must try and you won't be dissappointed.

I go here from time to time on my way back from work late at night, the guys there are always incredibly welcoming and friendly and do much for the atmosphere. Can't say enough good about them. The food (as far as I am concerned) is incredibly tasty and unbelievably good value. I would very highly recommend this place.

It is a bit hidden from the usual fares on the curry mile. The restaurant looks shabby from the outside, and small inside. There are only few seatings which make it perhaps more convenient for takeaway. However, the quality of food was one of the best we've had so far, especially considering the price and the portion size. We can see that the meat is freshly prepared, well seasoned and cooked. The place is definitely worth the trip.
