Food was amazing. Pizza was divine. One of the best I have had. Ordered the tiramisu, which after one bite, noticed it had alcohol in it (was not advised about this and this wasn't stated on the menu). After speaking to the waiter, he told me I had to pay for it because I had taken one small bite out of it. He also stated it was on the menu that alcohol is in it. After reading the menu and realising his mistake that it doesnt say that, he said I don't have to pay for it. So I ordered another dessert. This wasn't a big deal for me. Only issue was at the end when I asked for the optional service charge to be removed. The waiter asked whether there was anything wrong with the service to which I responded no, I just didn't want to pay the optional surcharge. He then advised me that I should always consider paying the surcharge especially when the service is good. I just responded with I only pay the optional surcharge when I feel like it. He seemed a bit annoyed. No idea why. Everything was great up until that point.i would advise you guys to not question why your customers don't want to pay the service charge. it is after all, optional, and up to their discretion. No one should explain their reasonings.

If you love some good Italian food, this is the place to be. The menu includes both the Italian classics (pizzas, pastas, nice 'secondis') as well as some more unique recipes, but above all the service was really good. We were served by Giovanni, who was really making an effort to connect with us and other guests, which made the overall experience very enjoyable!

Giovanni was an excellent host. He was friendly and made us feel super welcome. Food was delicious and the decor and atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. Thank you!

Sadly the Pizza was just slop, only the crust was OK. Drink service was slow, one round never arrived but it was on the bill!

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone at Gino's Manchester for making our Christmas party last week absolutely amazing. We had nearly 100 guests, and I can honestly say it was the best night we’ve had and the canapes were delicious! A big thanks to Jennifer and Ruth who was incredible from start to finish. She took care of everything and made sure everything went smoothly, which made the whole event feel effortless. Their attention to detail and warmth really stood out, and it’s clear they care about giving guests the best experience. A special thank you to Chris, the bartender, who went above and beyond to make sure everyone was looked after. He was so friendly and made the bar a real highlight of the night, everyone was talking about how great he was! I’m so grateful to the whole team for making our event feel so special. We had the best time, and I can’t recommend Gino’s enough. Thank you again for everything, we’ll definitely be back!

Went to the restaurant in Manchester and the gluten free options weren't great. My starter wasn't available as they hadn't received some of the ingredients so was going to contain gluten which was disappointing. The GF garlic bread was clearly shop bought base and just had some slices of mozzarella on top. It was quite soggy and really disappointing. The wild boar pasta main course had hardly any meat and the GF pasta was again shop bought and under cooked, so was quite chewy. It was basically like a kids pasta dish. For the cost (£50 each for 6 of us) I was incredibly disappointed with the whole experience. We had 3 additional items placed on the bill which we had not had. When we challenged this with waiter his whole attitude changed. He take the items off but his bubbly service disappeared immediately and he was very disgruntled. Overall, it was a really poor experience and not something I would be rushing to go back for. On paper the GF menu looks great, but the reality is very poor!

Just had dinner here at Gino, for a graduation dinner with my family. We had a wide variety of dishes and they were all spectacular. The best thing about the place was the service. The service was probably the best I’ve had in the UK and in my life. Giovanni made us feel very welcome and was very attentive. He was very friendly, outgoing and made this memorable night even more memorable. Thanks for making our night even more special Giovanni.

Our first visit to Gino’s to celebrate my birthday and what a wonderful celebration it was! The food was excellent, especially the Roast Chicken, the atmosphere was wonderful too. Huge thanks to Darren and Pedro for really looking after us all so well, you guys were the best. Can’t wait to visit again very soon.

We have just returned home from the lunchtime 3 course festive menu. food was top notch and service impeccable. Pedro and Darren were super attentive making sure plates were cleared, food came out hot and any drinks orders were taken and arrived speedily. Couldn't fault the food,service or atmosphere and will be returning again

I stayed at Innside hotel in Manchester at the weekend with my friends and we had breakfast and lunch at the Gino restaurant. The food was delicious and atmosphere was lovely but the best thing about our experience was the service from Darren. He could not do enough for us and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Got told off by the bar man for picking up a bottle of unusual looking bitters....That they leave on display on the bar, when questioned about it his attitude was even worse. Then the food was just shocking. Wild boar ragu was three small lumps of dark fatty pork sat on top of the driest pasta and sauce I have ever had, and the rest of our table of 6 all had similar complaints. The place is way to dark at night, but that's to try and hide the crap food I reckon. For a very premium price point there are a lot of much better places to go!

Stayed at innside at the weekend with a few friends and ate at Ginos for both breakfast and lunch. The food and service was outstanding, delicious cocktails and Darren made us feel so welcome he couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely go back!

We came here for some quality Italian food and we’re not disappointed. It seems a little more upmarket than your standard Italian, but tbh it was worth it for a little extra treat as the food was made to perfection with quality and traditional Italian ingredients. The staff are very welcoming and happy to assist you, while the restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere. We’ll visit again one day when we are back up North.

Service & atmosphere is great but I wouldn’t go back for the food. £25 for the smallest bit of chicken and sauce. The sauce was very basic. The potatoes had been reheated in the microwave. I’m not sure if that’s standard for a restaurant but they weren’t very good, quite soggy & the distinctive taste you get when they’re re-heated Overall very overpriced for what we got

It's ok... we went for afternoon tea. The sandwiches were nice but I was a little disappointed that every dessert seemed to have alcohol in it, apart from the scones (which were not warm)... and the strangest of things... we weren't given or offered any tea with our afternoon TEA. The clue is in the title 😂

It was a very quiet restaurant, we had the Roast Dinner as it was Sunday the Beef was absolutely amazing, my only fault was the roast potato’s which were like Aunt Bessie’s, other than that all good and the waiter Pedro was a lovely chap 🙌

The service was very rushed. We felt the waiter ran away from our table before we finished talking. The antipasti sharing dish had a bit off meet to cheese ratio. The pizza had a lot of sauce. We asked for Parmesan for our pasta and got a little bit, while at an Italian restaurant you regularly get a bowl of shavings. The music was way too loud and we, a party of four, had a hard time holding up conversations. There was only one bathroom for the entire restaurant so one also had to spent too much time in line. Overall, quite disappointing. The burrata was good.

We had a wonderful time and delicious food at Gino's INNSiDE tonight. Pedro was an incredible host and got us a glass of prosecco each for our anniversary which was a lovely touch. Will definitely be coming back.

Went as part of a company do. Food was good but not spectacular. Service was attentive and chatty at the right level. Felt half empty and a bit Lacking in atmosphere, maybe due to it being an Early evening on a Thursday. Loved the cheese board but portions were too big for one and suitable for 2 people. I embarrassed to say I could not finish my portion.

Lovely atmosphere and attentive waiter but ordered 2 double pink Ginw which tasted like lemonade, even after they were replaced. Buttery mash was very runny and when added to a plate swimming in sauce it dissipated. Ordered salmon but with hindsight sould have opted for a pasta dish. Slightly dissapointed in the food and drinks but overall a nice place.

Overall experience was just ok. Redeeming factor is that the food was great. From the start we were told to sit and wait for our table, no offer to take a drink order during this. Had to ask for water for the table twice (normally you expect to be asked). Had a drink spilled on the table making everything sticky, the waiter was apologetic and cleaned some up but didn’t offer a refresher. We had to cancel our second round of drinks as after 15 minutes we’d already finished our food and had to leave soon after. The interior looks nice but the booth tables are so impractical, as a party of 2 we were sat next to each other, normally not much of an issue but it felt like you were facing the entire restaurant whilst eating and the booth itself was uncomfortable making us sit a little awkwardly. As mentioned the service wasn’t great, the staff were nice enough but didn’t really seem aware of what was going on. Finally the 2 drinks we had to cancel were included in the final bill. We paid the 10% service charge purely because the food was good.

We had a lovely lunch with great service from the team including Pedro our server. It was also quite good value on the Lunch menu.

They let me go in the kitchen and see a cool cheese wheel. Amazing food I had pizza and I will definitely be coming back.

The overall ambience of the Gino was fantastic and the food was delicious. The main thing is that all the waiters have a great attitude, and I had a great evening at Gino Manchester!

Pedro was an exceptional server- I am often a lone diner to this restaurant and I never feel that way when I am served, the staff are attentive knowledgeable and nothing is ever too much. Pedro’s extensive knowledge of the menu enabled me to have a truly wonderful experience and his recommendations were on point. Perfect dining experience!

Really liked our experience in the restaurant, we were there on a Sunday so it was a little quieter in a good way. The food was great (highly recommend the fettuccine al cinghiale) and the service from Giovanni was warm and helpful. Also their wine list is good!

We popped into Gino’s for a bowl of pasta before our train home. Pedro took great care of us from start to finish, he was attentive but not intrusive and made our experience special. I know its not common to eat in a hotel restaurant but this meal was definitely worth it, and avoided the hustle and bustle of Manchester city centre late on a Saturday afternoon! Bucatini carbonara was 🤌🏽 would recommend to anyone. Thanks Pedro ☺️

I have never experienced a better Service in my live! Robbie & Pako have been extraordinarily welcoming and nice. The food was also perfect! Only the Music was a bit loud for me. But apart from that, the Ambiente was really good-looking.

I had dinner at Gino's with my son. We were helped by an enthusiastic Pedro who helped us all evening. My son and I ordered the truffle pasta which is definitely recommended. We had a wonderful evening.

Terrible service, inadequate staff due to the location of the restaurant, at the first course he presented us with the water bill while we were eating. He asks us to pay the drink bill, we had just started eating the appetizer. At the end of the service they didn't even ask us if we wanted coffee. We go to the counter and ask him for 3 coffees and he tells us that he had just cleaned the machine, but he gives them to us with disgust.

Absolutely appalling the COCKTAIL DI GAMBERETTI the prawns were warm the sea bass was clearly over cooked and dry the veal Milanese was dry and tasteless we did tell the staff and they kindly discounted 20% but still disappointing

The waitresses were very arrogant and had a very bad attitude. The food was not good, the pasta with black truffle and cheese was not good. At the end of the meal, the waiter said he didn't have any boxes to take away. The waiter is very arrogant and has a cold attitude. The food is really not good. The signature black truffle cheese pasta tastes just average. Finally, I wanted to take it away and the waiter said there was no takeout box.

This restaurant was our choice because of our stay in the innside hotel and the experience couldn't be any better. Food is excellent and the environment even better. What an amazing staff!!!! Pedro really went far and beyond to make sure our visit was an unforgettable one. He took care of us on all 3 nights we stayed there. He was so professional and so knowledgeable that his recommendations were spot on. Definitely be back next time a visit Manchester. Kudos to the team.

Went early Sunday. My Sunday lunch was amazing value, hot and tasty and great portion, could have that could have fed two. One star dropped because the seating alcove fabric had lots of stains on it, which looked so out of place to a high standard restaurant. Clean it.

Table for 2 can be quite a romantic restaurant to be in! Definitely an instagrammable restaurant for both food and deco as well as the staff! Family friendly as in service, space and their food! Large party and birthday, they won’t disappoint you! Must order their special menu to optimise your whole experience in the restaurant!

Unexpectedly amazing night! First time there and I didn't know what to expect. Service was attentive, friendly and always available. Pedro our waiter and Darren were amazing, however the full team were really good. Food was exquisit and tasty. Mains came on time and the full experience was GREAT. Can not wait to come back.

I visited them for dinner and even before order food basically there was a bug at the table dead , i asked the very helpful and very polite waiter for a napkin to remove it and he just stood there and looked at it and kept staring at me waiting me for the order i told him remove it then we can go back to my order, he surprisingly said “do you want me to remove it now ?” Yes i want you to remove it now ! he left i don’t know for how long doing other things before i get my jacket to leave then he came to clean it asking me if all good , no its not all good and he know it , just awful

We had an incredible stay at INNSiDE by Meliá Manchester(July 31-Aug 2), and Maricel at Gino’s played a huge part in making it so memorable. From the moment we arrived, Maricel went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect. She was incredibly accommodating, always attentive, and made us feel right at home. Her warm hospitality and dedication to her work are truly commendable. Gino’s Restaurant is very lucky to have someone like Maricel on their team. Thank you, Maricel, for taking such great care of us—we can't wait to go back!!

Visited the restaurant today with my cousin had the 3 course meal from the lunch menu wow 👌 Absolutely outstanding food & service from the minute we walked in. The food was mind melting highly recommend and will most definitely visit again complimentary drinks included too, the passion martini hits the spot. 2 very satisfied customers visiting from Scotland.

Very good restaurant with a refined and welcoming atmosphere, excellent and professional service. The waiters Claudio and Roberto recommended some excellent wine and excellent dishes with delicious desserts at the end. We celebrated my wife's birthday with my daughters and son-in-law, definitely a beautiful memory. We will definitely return.
