Toby Indian in Solihull

Shocking, Ordered on 17th November, The Balti wasn't a Balti, was more like powdered curry, no taste at all!! i ordered a special and it said it was hot, i paid 20p more to make it hotter and not one spice in there!! The Mushrooms was not Garlic!! more mushrooms and onion !! The chips rice and curry sauce was unaidable! and Cold !!! Not one thing was nice !!! Large order, and all cold and horrible, i have contacted directly three times and yet no one has come back to me. cant stress how bad this place was !

Delivery driver was extremely rude. I opened the front door and asked him to put the food on the floor from a safe distance. He argued with me telling me to close the door then he’d put it down I said no just put it down and I’ll get it when you’ve gone. We were going back and forth for some time and then he slammed my food down and went to kick it before I told him don’t you dare. Due to this experience, I will never order from here again. It’s a shame really because the food was actually really nice!!

Food was all good. The nann bread wasn’t in but I got a refund with no issues and was actually quite full anyway and didn’t actually want need it in the end. Will order again soon.

Great food as always. Changed location was a bit of a surprise. Also wait on collection was long even though we ordered over an hour and half in advance. Will still order again but they need to update there name and location.

The food and service were both excellent, the meal arrived piping hot and with extras thrown in. The delivery was carried out safely by a polite and friendly driver, I would recommend this restaurant to friend and family without hesitation

The curry I had was to spicy. Was unbearable could not be eaten.

One meal was nice but the other the Lamb was so tough couldn’t eat it. Naan was undercooked and doughy. Basically had to throw away.

The curry was great but the nan was burnt all black over it went in bin. Restaurant should of binned it though not us

Was over hour late but it’s New Year’s Eve so expected it to be a bit late. Wanted a Peshwari naan but was given a plain naan instead but wasn’t gonna try to phone and ask for another one. The food was all really good and hot, tasted lovely. Would definitely recommend. Thank you.

The driver was useless i had to go out to find him

The food was amazing. So tasty and fresh, good portion size, cooked perfectly and still piping hot on arrival: It came in a box instead of a bag which meant no sauce spilled and ruined the other food items.

Cannot fault the Toby, food is always delicious and piping hot. Every time I order the quality and service is always the same. This place never fails to impress, the best food by far!

Have used this place regular and always found food lovely, tonight's meal was poor, curry tasted quite bland, not much flavour, chappati was cold and tasteless no salad or sauce with poppadoms which we always get , shame as we have not known it like this before, i won't say do not have a curry from here as everyone's taste is different , we will not be ordering again anytime soon

Left a note to say, could I have less onion in my balti tonight please. The balti that arrived was truly full to the brim of onion, barely any sauce and prawn which I ordered. The starter was over cooked too. I have ordering from here for years and it’s gone down hill. After this, I won’t be here ordering again. Very disappointed.

We chose to collect as we are local to the Toby Jug Indian - however, when we got there, we were told the restaurant had moved to Tile Cross and changed its name. Had to travel further out our way to collect, resulting in us being much later than expected and lukewarm food. Not great. Very disappointed - Just Eat have not been informed of the move - they are still showing as being called the Toby Indian in Castle Brom at the Toby Jug pub

2 hour wait for food i rang at 1hr 15 min to be told its just left it will be with me in 10min still nothing then rang 25 minutes later to be told it will be leaving the building in 5 minutes 2 hours later it turns up onions in tikka starter when I said no onions i ordered through just eat they've also changed the name And food from Toby jug to what Eva it is now no one should have to wait 2 hours no apology or Freeby or discount disgraceful

Usually very good with delivery. First time we have ever had a problem to be fair and food still arrived hot.

Absolutely amazing food. Chicken was so juicy, curry was really tasty. Loved the nann and meat somosas had just enough kick in them. Been my first curry order in a while and exceeded my expectations. Can’t wait to order again in the future. Thank you.

Good food but whole order wasn't delivered.

Had four chicken kebabs in naan and the amount of meat was poor the one only had 7 little bit of meat and the other 3 was not much better the food is normally good but our last order was bad

Quality is spot on every time. Used to have the Jalfrezi but its a little too hot for me now, I have the balti every time. Flavour is on point. Definitely the best Indian around!

Had ordered from the Toby Jug for the first time last week and was so impressed, decided to order from them again this week. Unfortunately, when the food came, it was from a completely different restaurant, even though I placed my order from the Toby Jug!? Not sure why it was ‘subbed-out’ to another restaurant tonight, but the food wasn’t as good as the Toby Jug. It’s not really acceptable to do that, without at least informing us first. I would have cancelled my order if I had known. Whatever the reason the Toby Jug has for not fulfilling my order, it’s put us off ordering from them again, in case we get some other random restaurant deliver our food!

Amazing food as always! Won't go anywhere else for my indian takeaway.

The food here is beautiful and the staff go the extra mile. I wanted to dry a dish but was worried about wasting a meal if I didn't like it so they sent out a pot with the sauce to try so I knew for next time. Delivery is always quick and can't fault the service. This is our regular Indian takeaway now.

One of the nicest take outs for a while. Great portion sizes so ended up ordering far too much food. Definitely recommend

Last time I ordered from here the food was amazing. This time however it was really substandard, madras and watery and not spicy, tikka masala was cold and had to be re-heated, the chicken in it could have been used as a bouncy ball. Saag was nice though. They must have a couple of cooks, one really good one and another that has just given up

Terrible food! Nothing had any flavour.. the naan was doughy, the onion barges were more like half cooked pakoras, very thick powdery texture.. sadly there was nothing enjoyable about any of the food we had tonight so we will not be ordering again.
