Tjs Burgers Evington Village in Leicester

We ordered 2chicken shish kebabs and a burger deal tonight .The chicken shish kebabs were amazing!! big chunks of chicken and large slices of peppers and onions were in them the burger meal was lovely .I work in a local pub/restaurant in the same village so therefore I see food all day I would like to say well done tjs of evington will most definitely be using you again 👍👍

This is the third time my order has been delivered with missing items and missing ingredients on my burger. Would not recommend.

Plenty of food, tasty, quite cheap.

Exploring Flavours at Evington Takeaway I visited this takeaway in Evington, Leicester. There are various takeaways with the same name, but each has different owners (not a franchise). I had a chicken wrap with fresh salad, garlic mayo, and homemade chilli sauce – it was incredibly tasty. Enjoyed every bite, particularly loved the chilli sauce. Regrettably, I didn't opt for a menu with chips. I'm sure the chips would complement the delicious taste of their chilli sauce perfectly.

The lamb burger I had from TJs evington was very tasty and my friend also enjoyed the vegetarian pizza.

Decent takeaway for your junky food.

Donner wrap with chips inside. Don’t need to say anything else about it

By far the best TJs in leicester. The garlic mayo could be sold on its own it is the best. I use to go there alot and they use to take me home after I'd been pub..lovly people shame I don't live round there anymore 😔

Brilliant customer service and delicious food.

Ordered pizza, was told 45 mins to 1 hour. Took nearly 2 hours and the order was incorrect. One pizza wasn't correct to our order, one pizza was missing toppings and one pizza was burnt. Usually really good but tonight was poor.

Absolutely nice hot pepperoni spicy chicken pizza and kebab wasn’t bad quite nice the main amazing and best thing about this place is the pizza I had today 👍👍 definitely be going back again soon 🤗🤗

Ordered pizza, was informed it would be 45 minutes. Turned up 1hrs 30mins later and wasn't the correct pizza, when I called back to advise them I was ignored being told that I got what I ordered. Really poor will not be ising again.

Never have issues with this place. We love the food here. Staff are always friendly on the phone. The comment below is lies. Tjs Evington are not on deliveroo.

Never order from this place via any of the regular delivery services. After ordering from deliveroo the food seemed to take a very long time. When it finally came out for delivery the driver that was tracked by the app showed up, pretended he had the food, took the delivery code then said “I don’t have your food another driver should have delivered it” and left. This is very clearly a scam the restaurant is operating and has been reported. Food is probably rubbish anyway. And they say they are not on deliveroo but you search deliveroo and they are right there. I have screenshots of this but it takes one search. Owners clearly know exactly what order this is about and are very bad liars.

Not from Leicester We was hungry we went simple 2 burgers and fries the burgers were very well cooked lots of salad sauces too the wife's veg burger was the best she's had in a long time and from Leicester too! The fries very good portions we ended up sharing one! Very friendly staff nice and clean if dated shop but still nice place

Very expensive, bland taste , their kebab are all cold and waxy within 2 minutes, honestly I will never visit this takeaway unless starving to death.

Place an order at 8pm now its 9.30 still no order call them up for the staff to be rude Will never order from here again

I went to this takeaway yesterday and it is great. The good was really nice and the staff was really polite and helpful.

We spent £35.50 on food and they didn’t give us chips. We called and they said we liars???? Absolutely rude and disrespectful people I will never order food from TJ evington again. So rude on the phone as well!!!!

Absolute rubbish service placed an order for a gentleman dying of cancer order excepted through food hub 10 minutes later order cancelled stating that it was too far out to deliver what utter disgrace that food is always cold anyway so don’t bother what an utter disgrace they are

Ordered a kids meal and one pizza took over 2.5hrs to be delivered. Rude when phoned to see where the food was every phone call was 'be there in 10 minutes' discusting service

I would not rate these any good at all... i ordered thursday night and i got the completely wrong order... but gave them the benefit of the doubt due to being busy... i then order again 2night and they messed up ... again and missed off items then when i got through on the phone told me another half an hour for the rest of my order!!!!! Waited an hour and rest of order never turned up.... what a joke will not use these again!!!!!!

Ordered a pizza and fry chicken. I could not help noticing how grubby the premises is. No Pun Intended. In addition to how scruffy, un groomed and unkept the staff appeared. That alone has put me off from ordering anything else from there ever again. The Pizza and fried chicken was equally very disappointing indeed. What also annoyed me was whilst I was placing my order was that the assistant was rather Rudely speaking and having conversations with his colleagues in a foreign language. The absolute height of rudeness. And very bad for customer relations to say the very least. Needless to say I will not be ordering anything or going in there again.

Placed order at 7pm, got told half 8 delivery, then delayed till 10pm...all I ordered was a burger...how hard can it be? I’ve had a cold Maccies that’s better than your customer service. Never answered my calls and delayed food constantly until requesting a refund. Pathetic place to order from. Avoid it like the plague.

Not the greatest takeaway on the planet, but for what you pay, it’s good. Meal deals are a great offer, burgers and kebabs are good but the pizzas are the best part of the menu. Would recommend for a Friday night takeaway!

The go to place for fast food in Leicester. The food order is well taken, prepared in a timely manner and consistently tastes good. I have also never had any negative effects the next day from consuming their food (i've only ate at the Evington village and Oadby parade locations.) Not the full 5 stars as most, if not all their restaurants are in need of aesthetic improvement.

Terrible again. Got my order wrong and not for the first time. forgot to put the fries and drinks in the order. So by the time they re-sent them the rest of the meal was already eaten. Also the Chicken Kebabs we ordered were cold. I let them off last time but I certainly won't be using this place again. Oh and they need to learn better English. The driver was Clueless.

Worst customer service I’ve seen in a while, they just deny and argue with the customer when you’ve been waiting almost 2 hours and it finally arrives cold and inedible. Place has seriously gone down hill. Wouldn’t order again! Pathetic

Absolutely rubbish service, the other branches far more organised and professional. Second time this has happened to me now, I've walked in there was a couple of other people in the store who had just finished ordering, i was not greeted or acknowledged by any member of staff, ok fine, but then I was left standing waiting for 15 minutes and still no one acknowledged me asked me for my order or nothing, 15 minutes, same thing last time had me waiting for nothing! Absolutely rubbish customer service! Won't be going there every again rather take an extra 10 minute drive to the other ones!

Always ordered from here but no more will I ordered a 12 inch pizza as it is buy 1 get 1 free then they send me a 12 inch then a 7 inch as my free one where the sender in that we'll u have lost my custome absolutely a joke

Ordered my food tonight at 8:30Ish and it arrived at 10:20. I rang and asked where my delivery was and the guy on the phone apologized,in a fashion! The food was not really that hot. There were no onions or peppers with the kebab as stated on the menu. The salad was not fresh today either. I found a black hair in my food. Will not be ordering from this place again. Too many times have I ordered and not be happy-this is the last time.

Placed order @ 19:38 via Just eat given delivery slot/time 20:25 - 20:38 still no order delivered so rang TJ's only to be told that our order had still not been cooked!! Very rude man gave a half assed apologie and could not or would not provide me with another time for delivery - delivery arrived @ 21:03 with no apologie from the delivery driver when asked why is it so later was told that he didn't know why and that he would get the store to call me but guess what no call. Unwrapped food to find the chips were cold the chicken nuggets for the kids were rubber the burgers were stone cold but the package was warm and the mixed kebab! Well no were on the menu did it say it was "build you own" literally cold meat thrown in box with two pita wrapped separate which were rock hard!! Avoid this place like the plague if you are sober and wanting to eat a nice meal! Perfect shite hole for the alcoholics that are to intoxicated to give a damn!!! WORST MEAL received in the last 30yrs of ordering takeout.
