It's the 2nd time I've used this Chinese after trying many in and around dudley and couldn't find one I liked at all. I had chicken fried rice chips curry sauce and prawn crackers, the food was tasty and hot when I got it home and the best chips around would recommend.

Pleasant new owners love the food i did review this place bad before but since the new people have taken over it is alot better ive read the reviews and most of the people have never reviewed anything as a positive which makes me feel like they just love a good old moan for no reason

Used for many years for weekly takeout so spent many £'s . Usually very good food. Then without NO NOTICE to a loyal customer we Phoned to make order and said closed for refurb on recorded message. Not very good customer service . Phoned since and phoneline just ringing out😔 Disappointed that u've let yourself down. Now having to use another takeaway 🤔 So u have lost a customer and business. Shame as usually reliable and good food. Now learnt under new management don't offer the normal menu as of 08/11 /2023 . Price have probably changed too!! No option to pay via card even on phone order's so cash only !!! (stupid in this day and age especially post COVID ) Person on phone no good After 5+ years using U wont ever be using u again U have lost a customer!!!! UPDATE 25 /05/ 2024 We actually started using U again and U've done it AGAIN . We went to order food for a family takeaway . Guess what CLOSED yet again with NO NOTICE WHATSOEVER . We had food from U last week it wouldn't of taken a lot to inform regular customers that U are going to be CLOSED the following week for whatever reason . Even if just a note attached to delivery . Can't even use discount code!!!! U keep inconveniencing customer's So U will lose trade and customers which is a shame because food is usually good 🤷🤷

About delivery this evening Late again this has happened before Phoning them girl says she's only 15 and WiFi mixed up our postcode He repeated it and address 3 times Food was half cold. Delivery driver said sent to different address Last orders from us

Will never use again!! Worst Chinese in the local area by far - new refurb has ruined this place prices have gone up the food has completely changed so have the staff who hardly speak English and constantly repeating yourself and they will get your order wrong too! All the free gifts have changed no chicken wings available any more - should put a sign under new management because they are not the same as they once was and very disappointed all round from customer service to food quality to pricing everything!

Food was vile. Very watery, no flavour & looked disgusting. We couldn't eat it, we had to throw it away. Never ordering from her again 🤢 What a waste of money!!

Very poor quality and experience.After writing an extensive description on how to locate my apartment, the driver for this company arrived and verbally attacked me stating there are no signs on the apartment block.This is not my fault, I asked of he had read the instructions- he had not. The driver told me I wrote the address wrong, it was all correct on the receipt he had showed me. The driver then lunged through my door at me making me feel threatened by his behaviour. The driver then left. The food was opened and not tasty at all. It is all very bland- so binned it. This is the worst experience of a Chinese takeaway ever and the service was worse. Avoid.

Decent local Chinese takeaway. Prices are average. Parking is a problem. (Fold in your wing mirrors).

Not used here for a long time things are not cheap anymore but because of us both finishing work late and decided we won't cook we will have a long hard week treat and order in. Big mistake!! food used to be brilliant. USED TO BE!! I placed the order for delivery went through the order twice to confirm and had it read back to me by a sounded like a young man. Order came 45 minutes as planned... No rice! Rings them back up explained to be told but u didn't order any!!!! Meanwhile curry and chips are going cold I got told could I hang on a minute it was a woman I spoke to this time I presumed she was checking my order. No I could hear her on the phone taking somebody else's order!!!!! All the time I'm saying hello hello hello on the phone. Finally she came back and said the driver is here now we will send your rice but its another £2.50 to pay and 15 minutes to arrive. I said have you ever had to warm up chips and the taste is vile and soggy. She wasn't bothered. Shocking food shocking service shocking customer service and the cheek to say another £2.50 on top to pay when it's their mistake is apauling. I thought I had lost my taste buds again and got covid because it tasted of nothing only texture. I thought give them the benefit and doubted their 3.9 out of 5 reviews from good tasty food in the past. Noooo it was a correct true 3.9 crap. Lesson learned when your hungry and had a late finish from work and have a order in treat don't have food from here

Great place and great food I don't think I could cook it myself for the money they charge great value. My son from down south could not believe the value for money.

If I could give it zero stars, I would. Absolutely terrible food! The same sauce used throughout different dishes which was bland and have virtually no flavour. The chicken seems like it’s processed, the beef was full of fat. Ribs were no better, full of fat and tasteless. Curry sauce which was ordered was used in the chicken curry and beef curry.

King prawn fried rice was wet and prawn was out of date. Food poisoning this could cause. Will NEVER purchase from this restaurant AGAIN. Poor customer service and Old Food😡😡😡

Curry was very watery, very little flavour, the meat was good in the curry its a shame it tasted like it was in water, Shredded salt and chilly chicken was very dry . I would eat here again,

Absolute great quality food in Tividale/Oldbury. Very easy to order and they never compromise on quality.

Not happy at all spent nearly £30 for out order to turn up, once we had paid we noticed the main thing on our order was a cho mein and it wasn’t there, so I call them straight back for them to say you have to pay and it will be another 15 mins really not happy at all 😡😡😡😡😡😡at least they should have said was we will bring you one straight away, I will deffo not ordering again, we threw every thing in the bin well done tividale well done crap crap don’t but from these

Lovely food and prepared relatively quickly in comparison to other local chinese takeaways. Highly recommended.

I ordered crispy chicken from here paid nearly £7 and all I received was sum batter and peppers I had to cook myself some food after it daylight robbery

Had the usual last night 20,3,2021 and within an hour myself and my wife was bad, avoid them 100% We will never use them again

The guy delivered the food was wearing a mask which I assumed was due to Covid but I now realise it was a robbery!! ....when I opened my food and it was packed with onion to hide the lack of meat ... If they had run out they should have cancelled order not fleeced me!!

16 minutes ago-Edit In truth I have edited this review as it upsets me to leave a poor one but yesterday was truly our outrageous / devious / wrong and I have woke up looked at the food trays from last night and though if 1 star is fitting. As a loyal customer of over twenty years I do this with a heavy heart but I got ripped off last night. I eat here a lot but normally collect but yesterday I ordered for delivery. I called and spoke with the young lad and asked for large ribs not standard. I only ordered for my wife as my normal dish had gone up from £8 to £10 so I put some oven chips in as I hadn't enough money without going to a cash point, The order was Plus the Yuk Sung - basically pork mince with lettuce and a tray of LARGE RIBS WE GOT THREE RIBS CUT IN HALF TO LIKE 6 PIECES - basically the 6 size of McNuggets or six 3 inch ribs !! and the normally very tasty Yuk Sung was blended with non meat stuff / fillers so the tray was full but we are not sure what it was like a white bean. 20 plus years customer now leaving :( a loss for both parties but over £6 for three ribs cut in half to look like 6 is a ...fail / outrageous / devious / wrong / fraudulent ............my wife had some of my oven chips !! To quote the other comment from another long term customer... " Wrong thing to do, wont be using them again. "

Food is bang on , we only use this chinese and have done so for years .Had the odd thing missing or a bit dry but always let them slide, we order the same things every time. This time the lady (very poor broken english) who takes the order went too far calling my wife a liar.The lady messed part of the order up and blamed my wife!!!! Good food but I like my Currys a little bit dark er

This place is vile. Ordered a curry with mushrooms in a gravy the mushrooms were whole and raw, onions were raw and curry sauce was like water. Rang to tell them about the mushrooms first to which they said that's how we sell them and hung up. I wished I could upload a picture of what arrived it went in the bin what a waste of £20. Do not use

One star because chips were nice but had chicken curry &rice chips and it was the worst curry ever had.

Great menu the food is great, a large menu I have never had a poor meal, I would go as far as to say it is the best Cantonese And Chinese Take A Way in the area.

Tried this takeaway for the first time, spent nearly £40 ordered 3 dishes 2 starters and 2 lots of chips I was a little concerned with how quickly the food was delivered, when checking the order the chips were missing, I called the takeaway and they were replaced in 10’minutes Don’t think I will order again from this place food was average on the whole and wanted to be fair. Placed my order because rating was good, May stick to my usual from now on. Ensure you get the order right in future Thanks

absolutely disgusted with the service from tividale valley! after 20 years of using this chinese i will never spend a penny in there again! this would not of happened under Dave and Flora, the woman who answers the phone has the worst attitude i've ever experienced, i ordered a takeaway for collection got it home and my order was wrong! called up and the woman who answered the phone advised i ordered the wrong thing and i clearly don't understand! i was told that to get the right thing i ordered i would need to pay a delivery charge, you finally advised that you wouldn't deliver the food id ordered but to ask for it next time i order! i can assure u after the beef curry i've just eaten which was congealed and didn't resemble the taste of a beef curry i've ever tasted, £37.50 wasted on awful food which was mostly thrown away, i would steer well clear if you don't want to waste your money!

It is very very rare that I write reviews but I must say that this is the first time I have ordered from this Chinese after a quick google search and I am very impressed. The delivery was quick and the food is great. Will defiantly order from here again :)

All, I love cooking therefore never have a takeaway, but when I do my family are fussy as to where the food comes from. They read reviews and also give reviews if the ok ace is good because it's important theses days. Anyway, we ordered a portion of Singapore rice and 2 plain fried rice for the kids and some springs rolls. Before me and my husband could comment on how nice the food was the kids said the food was really nice and fresh. Spring rolls were amazing and the prawn crackers were quality! If the kids are happy It makes my day. Definality recommend this takeaway. Kind Regards

I use this takeaway at least a couple of times a month on average and it's easily the best takeaway of any description within walking distance of my house. I can only think of maybe one occasion I had a slightly disappointing meal, otherwise mains are very fresh with generous helpings of both meat and veg, and chips are always crisp, plentiful and piping hot.

We like to have the occasional take out and we always order by telephone. The food is excellent and the service is good. We always have our home delivery within less than 30 minutes.

Consistently the best!!!! I've lived all over the UK and abroad, so experienced many "take aways". Always brilliant, always come back.

for a decent Chinese this is a decent place and its been there a lot of years so it cant be bad a lot of places around Oldbury serve less than edible food however this place is not one of them

First time of having it delivered, but really quick delivery service. Really nice food. Vermicelli and bbq ribs we delicious.

We ordered food on two occasions from the Tividale Valley in April 2014. The first time, we had to wait an hour and 20 minutes, after being told it would be 50 minutes. The food arrived, and was so greasy you could fill a cup with it. The food used to be fabulous, as we have used them for at least five years, but it is too awful to eat now. We tried again to order the following week, because we thought they may have just been having an off day, but waited an hour and forty minutes before we cancelled the order.

Very good food , Out of all the Chinese take a ways in this area this is one of the best.
