Its my new go to place for a quiet large delicious hot chocolate since my I sadly lost my wife. I can just chill and read the paper.

My order was a terrible wrong item sent with no explanation why also I had a cake with chocolate on an was put in with hot food an chocolate melted even tho there was a cold bag with ice coffee.I also received a cookie an on the package dated 26/01/25 which is out of date

The current store manager at the Costa coffee next to Greggs , short lady with glasses and blonde hair! Is completely and utterly an unhinged racist!! On Sunday 2nd February she verbally attacked a lady for moving a a chair, squared up in her face and attempted to attack her! She became angry the more she couldn’t get a reaction of the customer who was a young polite woman! She was forceable removed by a staff another member! The rest of the staff didn’t react which tells me they are used to her unhinged behaviour! The staff member who had to remove the store manager needs a pay rise!

Lack of food options compared with other Costas e.g. no macaroni cheese. Festive drinks available but the Black Forest Hot Chocolate that I ordered seemed to be made in a rush, and it was not even warm, let alone hot! Very disappointing for the high price charged. One toilet had no toilet paper - mentioned it to staff and they did replace this but not promptly. The other toilet had no soap/hand wash! In my opinion, this suggests lack of basic hygiene standards. This did not get replenished, even though I told one of the employees. Staff should not be waiting for customers to alert them to toilet paper/hand wash running out - they should be undertaking regular checks to ensure these items never run out and are always topped up. No excuses of them being “too busy” as there were minimal customers in there at the time and surely it’s a basic part of Costa employees’ job description. These aspects let down our visit, therefore it is unlikely I will return.

We pop into this Costa every Thursday for a breakfast and coffee. Lovely coffee strong and full of flavour. The only downside is lack of serving staff, so when busy a queue can build up quickly.

Came twice this week messed order up on first visit on 2nd visit really apologetic and gave us a discount so carnt complain service was good 👍

I'm a regular, I see how lovely most of the staff are BUT there is one small girl with long dark hair in a pony who is extremely sour. All other members of staff tailor my drink as I like it extra strong. The sour girl takes great pleasure in saying no. I end up with a coffee for no extra money that is a wishy washy coffee and a sad heart. She doesn't fit in with the kindness of all of the others. When you pay £3.60 for your morning coffee you don't expect to get something you don't like, and leave with a sad heart. She is damaging the branch brand - and the kindness of all of the other staff there - and she probably knows it and takes great pleasure.

Visited a couple of times recently. The toastie + drink lunch deal is good value, but the beans toastie lacks filling and taste. Friendliness from staff is mixed; some make you feel like a valued customer, others provide unsatisfactory service. Takes a while for the staff to clean dirty tables. Mac & cheese and the vegetarian paninis are good-quality. I was unhappy to see 2 dogs being allowed in and staying in the eatery for nearly an hour, when the signage states only assistance dogs are permitted (these dogs were not, so I felt that was breaking some regulations). As someone who is wary of dogs, I do not appreciate having to share an indoor space with them where food is being prepared.

It's Costa. Reasonable snacky food but twice the price of Greggs and half the range.

Drinks was a joke the ones that turned up was wrong and I was missing 3 just eat didn’t do anything about it so I was money out of pocket and drinks I didn’t want will never be using just eat again

Why did you not put boba in my raspberry mini bubble frappe when I called to complain the number was not valid had to put in a refund with just eat they never really refund it not happy plus there was no cream in my salted caramel frappe

Ordered 3 drinks, 3 coffees. The staff gave only drinks to delivery person. Waiting hungry 40min+ and get offered refund that will be credited within 10 days due to this place staff negligence

A few tables needed cleaning but they were short staffed but very friendly.

We walked into the store just before closing, which we did not realise. We waited by the counter for a good couple of minutes before a member of staff acknowledged us. She then told us it was takeaway only due to closing. We told her that was fine, then she told us actually they were closed, even though it was still slightly before 6pm. Disappointing and bad customer service.

I like coffee from there. Always maked carefully and looked and taste very good. I never had problem with this place. With different ones yes- but not here. I recommend. Coffe is tasty and correctly made.

Only went there because a friend wanted to go, places like this are overpriced by default but he offered to pay. Took a short while to be served despite not being busy and the staff didn't thank us for our custom, and didn't acknowledge us whilst waiting and just generally seemed miserable.

Poor customer service, no interaction, poor house keeping, dirty coffee machine, cups on the floor, dirty work tops…..not the usual costa experience.

Coffee was prepared very quickly and was nice and strong. The lemon drizzle cake was nice and moist, the banana bread was a bit sweet. Good place for a quick break.

Costa coffee is a safe and solid choice whether eating in or on the go. Their cheese and tomato toasties are melty and flavourful, their Mac and cheese gooey, cheesy and always piping hot. You can’t go wrong with these choices. Costa’s Ice tea is a go to favourite for drinkers who favour more water based and refreshing beverages. However, their Easter especially mini egg cookies are on the sickly-sweet side but having them heated up definitely enhances the overall taste. Wonderful service, cosy atmosphere and tasty food. Went around 2 pm so quite busy but plenty of staff to serve. Ordered a frappe and a panini. Drink was good and plenty of options in the fridge especially just after peak lunch time. Plenty of seats in and out and plenty of parking

Ordered as unable to cook for myself at the moment due to arthritis pain. Store delivered a cold tough toastie, with cold tea. Complete waste of time and money, store is less than five minute drive away so really disappointing.

Went on Saturday evening grab some coffee and hot meal deside to seat and eat in its was my foul. You havevto pay extra if you stay in... But question what for? Have to looking for clean table empty coffee shop but no clean tables and on floor so many rubbish... Full box of rabish by sugar milk table... Thats was my first and last visit there....

2 hours late Says it was delivered when it want and I have screenshot to prove it.

Apparently this was on time according to the app but took an hour, my hot drink was cold and tastes disgusting. As for the light whip on my latte well that was none existent!

The trays were dripping wet and the tables were all full of finished food and empty cups. People were having to clear their own tables. So disappointed

Love this place, I use the drive throu most days. The ladies that work there are lovely. They do run out of oat milk on occasion.

We ordered coffe this morning drive thru and the young girl a blonde hair was very rude we asked her for fr our coffee small cup and extra hot she gave us a medium coffee and not extra hot took to long to make coffees she didn’t even say hi or enjoy or to apologise for her bad service and she didn’t ask us how much to pay we waited other 5 min to pay and came and asked why u are waiting for we said to pay darling and just took the money without any word. Manager was there as well very bad service always there . Hope this review it’ll help others for not spending money and get this disappointed service.

Only popped in for a coffee with a friend but wouldn't recommend it as it was very dirty. Tables not cleared, chairs filthy and this was at 10am. No thankyou!

The blueberry frappe x 2 didn’t have cream on top nor did it have any bubbles. The strawberry and cream frappe I ordered, again didn’t have cream on top. Disappointed with Costa on this occasion.

Staff shouting at each other and telling customers staff ain’t up to scratch, huge que with staff having no urgency. Wish I’d manage that Costa, I’d do a much better job. You need a new leader in there, replace the young chubby girl and middle aged white guy in there. They had bad attitude.

Disappointed that cake was put in a paper bag next to a hot drink and hot food, it caused the cake to soften and topping melt, messy.

Why is my lunch missing again 😭 😭 the only jeffing reason I ordered. There was no food to rate!!!

I visited there other day and we just pop in for catch up with friends and my friend order but she was unprofessional towards us and and they was to busy chatting to each other and the tables was not clean or was the floor dirty left food stains and best of all the coffeecups they was using to make the drinks with had coffee stains on it so it could of be used for normal milk and dross with different other milk like soya milk and the bin behind the till was full and rubbish on the floor and the toilet was dirty and unclean it’s that bad I could have toilet in the end? Not crowed small place only few tables and chairs. Overall experience never will I be visiting again.

This stupendous busy little coffee shop/eatery hosts an array of beautiful, courteous staff and patrons. Staff always open up the doors with a smile 😊. REALLY slow service. 4 staff and still takes 15 minutes to get served with only 3 people in front so not huge orders.

Coffee was lovely and so were the hot sandwiches. Staff kept the place very nice.

Enjoyable M&S sandwich and coffee, pleasant server....but no gluten-free food for my missus and M&S do do it!

Came to this area to shop at Decathlon however I couldnt resist popping into this costa coffee shop to get a my a soy latte and to my surprise a whole lot of vegan choices! So after a few hours wandering the shops we popped back and grabbed a piece of vegan cheesecake 😍 The chap behind the counter remembered our drink order from the morning which I dont get from our local Costa! Lovely customer services, great choice of food, reasonable area, Thank you for a pleasant experience (never stop selling your vegan cheesecake and get it to Stoke-On-Trent!

Called in Costa today, staff member who served us was super friendly. After a short shopping trip around the local retail park, we called back to Costa and was impressed that the team member who served us earlier that morning, remembered us and remembered every single drink we preciously ordered. Absolutely fantastic, thank you for great coffee.

This is a superbly well designed and snagged busy coffee house. Absolutely Einfach-klasse (simply brilliant). Mainly Frostaufbruchs Are so down-to-earth and amicable 🙏☮️✌️🐇🙋‍♂️💋. Area manager must reward the staff and patrons by granting them a much-in-need repairable armchair! As It’s as have worn through! Due to the amount of patron traffic! Best regards ❤️😜
