Excellent decor, food and produce on offer. I’m local and have been here many times. I do feel there is a lack of warmth or engagement with your customer base. I always try and give the benefit of the doubt but having been here I should think 10 plus times I don’t think it’s intended, rather just a skill that is perhaps lacking.

What a find! We were staying locally for a wedding and popped into Tisbury for some supplies. Found this amazing deli stocking a fabulous array of foodie treats with many items from local producers. We left with a carrier bag full of cheeses, pastries, fresh bread, sausages and IOW tomatoes! Fabulous staff, very knowledgeable and make a mean cup of coffee! Just off the A303, worth a diversion if you are heading that way!

I really must confirm I bought 2 chilli con carnies, one was out of date and disposed of, the other was consumed, as was in date. In the early hours after a message had been sent complaining about the out of date meal to the owner, my husband was seriously ill with food poisoning. We can only assume the consumed chilli con carni had the incorrect food label on as the owner already admitted to incorrectly labelling food in his shop. Therefore cooking instructions were completely wrong, luckily I’m clever enough to know to cook properly! Please don’t let your holiday be ruined and check very carefully dates. Maybe an apology would have been a start? Or maybe a refund? Thankfully I didn’t eat a meal from your shop so I was ok. Food poisoning is a very serious matter and it wasn’t anything else he ate, it was a meal from your shop. I’d be absolutely horrified if it was my shop and I made someone so poorly.

Got food poising from two chilli con carni meals purchased from this shop whilst on a staycation, incorrect labelling resulted in not only being seriously unwell but ruined half of our holiday and had to return home, emailed via website with no response whatsoever, reported to environmental health with photographic evidence who are investigating, please please double and triple check what you are buying from here as food poisoning can be extremely dangerous

Eyewateringly expensive for so so quality. The cheeses on offer are decent but the meat is very average. Make better scotch eggs and coffee myself. Meh

Food is as good as ever but customer service has been taken up several notches I last visited. I will be back!

Our coffee was fine and we perched on a narrow seating area outside, which was fine. Service-wise was disappointing - my smile was not returned - also heard other patrons mention that the staff were miserable. A shame because it affects the whole experience and if you're not made to feel welcome, you won't return.

-Good service -Good selection -Almond milk latte was ok (I'm particular with coffee though), had a bit of a burnt taste -Coconut slice by Green&Grainy was tasty (Vegan) -🍋ade drink was good and also Vegan friendly

Had a fantastic office lunch consisting of The Ploughman's Lunch box washed down with some claret.... Food was ordered in advance and ready to collect-what a great way to start the weekend!

Stopped off on our way to Dorset in this lovey village. Found this great Deli picked up scotch eggs chilli sausage roll and chicken and ham Pies 🥧 . Everything was delicious! Ate our lunch on a bench nearby everyone was so friendly. We had to go back for more as my son loved the scotch eggs! Highly recommended way local produce and friendly staff . Plus great coffee ... what more would you want?

What a joy it is to visit Tisbury Delicatessen with its wide eclectic mix of food. We liked the Isle of Wight tomato selection, the cheeses perfectly kept as are the cold meats, so have a browse you will not be disappointed.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced in any deli ever, the portions are mingy and being Jewish I think I know a lot more about Delis then these snooty people! Bad experience. Irritable staff and small selection of items.

When you visit a town for the first time you never really know what you are going to find but I am so pleased that we visited the Tisbury Deli.We went there to get lunch and ended up with a lot of supplies for our weekend because they had such a good range. The baguettes, pasties and sausage rolls were great. The littles cakes that we chose were excellent and so was the bread (plenty of gluten free options for those who need it).It was so good to be able to buy items from a local business rather than from a chain store.The lady running it was so friendly and helpful too.

Stopped for a mid-morning brunch. Bacon and cheese bagel and tea. Very pleasant (if slow service) but very expensive. Had a look at some of the deli items, bread etc but didn't purchase due to the sky-high prices.

I miss this place much I've been delivering there for a very long time. Mr.Talbot and Mrs. James are making very delicious sandwiches and cofee. I wish you all the best

Im not one of their best customers as I never buy much but I recently enjoyed a sit down coffee and chatter of customers and staff going on behind me on a Saturday morning was really comforting.I had an Almond Croissant. Wow! I was halfway through enjoying it before I realised where Id last had one, and the ONLY place previously...various Patisserie/Boulangeries in France. I LOVE these things, and this one, which I understand is produced in one of the local market towns, was really scrummy!!!A lovely way to while away an hour or so...looking forward to becoming a more regular visitor.....sorry chaps ;-) Ps. The categories below don't actually fit properly to what is on offer at the Deli, the only seating is "bar" style stools in the window, and only room for 4 or 5 at a squeeze in case you were thinking of taking a large crowd along.

Really good place to have lunch owner is considerate as I was overcharged by mistake but he was quick to set things right by offering me a free lunch on him.

It really is the heart of the action in Tisbury, along with the Bottle Shop. Great service, excellent products and always reliable for stuff you cannot get elsewhere in the town. We are very regular regulars.

Had been recommended the Tisbury Deli as a good lunch stop on a bike ride so cycled further and faster than we intended to reach Tisbury before the Deli's Sunday closing at 1.00pm. What a good decision! We shared baguettes stuffed with cheese and pâté, a delicious meat pie, and a pain au raison plus drinks Quality of the locally produced food was very high, and the price, although a tad expensive if compared with supermarket prices, was a bargain for eating at the deli. Thoroughly recommended

This could be a daily visit inTisbury. Everything about this beautiful place is simply delightful. You will be greeted by friendly faces that offer suggestions for your needs and give samples when questions. There is a beautiful variety of pastries, breads and traygoods with gluten free choices sometimes too. Don't miss the olive bar and specialty pantry foods in the back. They have a counter for you to enjoy your coffee and other guests. Whilst you're at the cashier, take 2 post cards and send them you let your friends know about this charming shop in the heart of Tisbury.

Excellent Deli, lovely staff, great product range. We stopped for coffee, mushroom sausage rolls and brownies. All were very good! Sat outside so we could see our bikes. Definitely coming back!

Lovely Deli with some amazing produce. You can sit outside by the pavement and watch the world go by with a delicious coffee. If you want to do some exploring in the area the owner has some great ideas.

My best friend and I stopped by this deli simply because we were driving through town and it flashed in our peripheral vision. The food we had was amazing. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I felt very taken care of. And again, the food was just amazing.

The quality and range is excellent. These people don't just stack the shelves with imported goods, they understand and supply quality foods.

I often pop in here to grab something for lunch if I’m really busy. There’s no doubting the quality of the food here and the scotch eggs are lovely but it is quite expensive. The female members of staff are friendly and willing to help with making baguettes if they haven’t got the ones you fancy but they are quite small. Maybe they’ve made it expensive to keep the riff-raff in Co-op?

Stumbled upon this really well stocked deli which oozes quality in such a small and well stocked shop. So many hard to find quality products and authentic Italian offerings and sauces from high end to superb cheese counter and excellent artisan breads, which i sadly as a GF diner can't sample but wonderful GF choices. I would also highly recommend their artisan game and meat speciality meat pies which assume one can enjoy at outside tables or at the counter, all so well set up under owners watchful and efficient eye. Well stocked frozen products from breads to gorgeous deserts and ice cream, really a one stop shop for all your luxury needs. Homemade cakes also, which has a rather ordinary GF muffin but this place is really all about the excellent deli choices and quality of the meats/anchoivies and accompaniments. Highly recommended.
