Lo único bueno de este lugar es su asistente de gerente James, que aparentemente se encarga de todo y atiende a los clientes. Mi amigo y yo esperamos una mesa, lo cual es normal, pero fue una señal para el resto de la comida. Cuando se trataba de ordenar se habían quedado sin algunas cosas en el menú, incluido el Philly Cheestake, a pesar de que solo eran las 7 pm. Mientras esperábamos nuestra comida, pudimos escuchar a otros clientes preguntando cuánto tardaría en llegar, solo un miembro del personal en particular insistió agresivamente en que era "normal" esperar 45 minutos por la comida y decirles a todos que deberían haber estado allí. habló de la espera de antemano. Al final, nuestra comida tardó una hora en llegar, y llegó fría y básicamente no comestible, lo que, aunque impactante, no nos sorprendió en base a la comida de otros clientes. No comido en un Tinseltown antes y no volverá a toda prisa.

Wow! Let me tell you about my experience at this Tinseltown branch. SAVE YO MONEY PEOPLE & DO NOT GO, runnnnn. 1. Firstly, we got there at just after 10pm (it was almost empty & there were plenty of seats but we were still made to wait around for 15mins for a table). 2. When we started ordering, the waiter kept telling us almost everything was out of stock (I understand we came late but bare in mind they were closing at 1-1:30am ish) so plenty of time for customers to order. At one point, we all ordered milkshakes (but apparently the machine broke down) so we went for Fanta and 7UP. Later we see a number of people ordering milkshakes for takeaways. We confronted the waiter & he informed us that the machine (magically) fixed itself. 👀 3. Whilst our food was being made, I swear to GOD we could smell a whiff of weed coming from the kitchen, I kid you NOT. At this point, I’m gagging at the idea of my food. 4. When the food finally arrived, my melted cheesy chips was like cardboard, it was literally stuck to the chip tray. However, the my bbq burger was quite nice. Long story short, this place was not worth it.

Tomó 25 minutos para ser servido después de recibir una mesa. La comida tardó 45 minutos en ser servida. Ambiente muy ruidoso. La comida era bastante blanda.

I have no problem with food the food was amazing and so were the drink. I have a huge problem with the way the manager was treating the staff. Shouting and being extremely rude, he thought no one could hear him. To be frank, I feel extremely sorry for the staff that have to work with someone as rude and ignorant as the manager at Tinseltown Great Portland Street. In fact I won’t be returning because I felt so disgusted at the behaviour. I even overheard the manager say to one of the males that they are lucky he doesn’t punch them in the face. For me that is enough to call the police or head office because that is absolutely disgusting.

The waffles were soooo delicious! Especially, the chocoholic brownie waffle! Definitely a must for dessert!

2 weeks ago I went there for lunch. I have been there so many times but this is the first time I decide to review it. Generally their food is 4 star but on this occasion it must be a 3 star for sure. I like the fries, burger and shakes. However my wife ordered chicken wings for her main course. And it tasted very rubbery like it been microwaved or re-friend. ended up eating 1 piece of chicken wing and not eating the rest. Why 3 star as everything else was good, price was very good £20 for 2 people. But I will avoid the chicken wing next time

I wanted to enjoy this a lot more than I did 😞 The decor is nice, and the menu is vast (lots of vegan options!). I had a booking for Saturday night so I expected it to be busy. But my waitress forgot to submit half of our order so after waiting around 40 mins (I’m patient...) I asked about it and they resubmitted. Another 30 mins and I finally got my food but still no drink, and at this point I can’t be bothered to ask again 😥 The burger itself was fine but wasn’t worth waiting over an hour for... tasted like it was frozen. I mean it was nice, just not great. And then we waited like 30 minutes to get the bill so we could pay... I wish they’d have more staff on a Saturday night cuz the experience was kinda soured by how slow everything was. And I’m super patient. 😓

I don't often give 2 star reviews, but this place didnt live up to any of my expectations. Perhaps stick to the shakes, the american style food all of it wasnt great. Shakes on the other hand are great!

The biggest shambles of my life! Waited for 30 minutes with my boyfriend for a seat even though there were several 4 seater booths available . Staff where rude and only came to us once saying 5 minutes. At the end a member of staff told us it’s going to take longer than 5 minutes... yeah clearly Einstein . They would rather lose money than to seat a couple in a 4 seater. Run far away from this shop.

My experience resonates with others below. The staff who was serving us was extremely rude and that was only because we were asking if our meal was coming soon or not. Moreover they got the order wrong as well. I am surprised the manager allowed him to continue interacting with other customers after that appalling behavior. We will never return again. Adios Tinsel town keep your staff and say goodbye to your customers.

So my two friends and I decided to have dessert here after we had dinner elsewhere. My friend and I received our desserts pretty quickly after ordering but my other friend was waiting for 20 minutes after we had ours. We asked a few times about where her dessert was. The waiter was so rude, eventually saying there’s no point in asking me again and again because it’s not going to change anything. The service is so bad which is a shame because the desserts are great. I don’t think we will come back again, there’s probably other good dessert places around Oxford Street

My friends and I went here today and the kind of service received by the staff was horrendous. We complained to the manager and he was no better. He gave a half hearted apology but nothing was done about the terrible service we received. Will not be returning. DO NOT COME HERE!

I have been to a different Tinseltown before so expected much better than the service I was given. The whole thing was a mess people coming in the front doors pushing in no one taking any names down to say whose next to be sat down. A couple came in after me and was given a seat even tho I had been waiting around 15/20 minutes longer than them and when I questioned this the man said “because they have a baby in a pram”. I’m sorry but that is not good enough. After then being sat down it took 20/25 minutes for the waiter to come and take our order another 30 minutes for our food to come. We then had nearly finished our food and our drinks hadn’t arrived so my other half questioned this and then they started making the drinks pretty much when we have finished eating. There was a young man on the table opposite who asked for a glass of water 4 times and before he got one. The guy next to me was complaining the food was cold. Luckily our food was ok and hot. Need more staff on a Saturday and better organisation. I spoke to the manager after and he did apologise and take money of the bill which was much appreciated. But really expect better. Won’t be visiting again
