Food: As an Indonesian, all my food orders have failed. Order list: Nasi Padang, tahu telur, sate ayam, nasi goreng. They can't cook Indonesian food. Service: - After waiting about 20 minutes, the waiter said a system error in the computer caused my order not to be processed. - when we pay the bill the waiter seems to push us to add tips in the card machine, instructing us to press "Yes" to tip and "5%". It's so annoying, even the the UK restaurant never does that. Atmosphere: No Indonesian atmosphere, it's more like a Chinese restaurant.

Horrible experience at this Indonesian restaurant. The food was terrible, lacking flavor and freshness. To make matters worse, customer service was poor—unfriendly and inattentive staff. Don’t waste your time. Food was mediocre. We asked for spicy food and it was very mild. My coconut water(£6!) was mouldy and tasted awful! They totally forgot to bring our mains, the beef rendang came before the rice so we ended up having it cold! Starter was hot and sour chicken soup - sort of like Tom yum soup, chicken had a distinct smell to it like it had gone off. What really annoyed me was that service was so poor, no plates were given, we had to use hotpot bowls from the next table, not sure how they thought we could eat the rending straight from the serving bowl! Waiter also forced us to pay service charge even after complaining that service was terrible, food was cold and not made to preferences, he had the cheek to say it’s not a takeaway and everyone has to pay! Service charge is not a legal obligation. I gave up trying to reason with the waiter, it was pointless, he wasn’t even trying to understand. Do yourself a favour, there’s so many better places around this area!

My husband and I love Indonesian food, so we were looking forward to trying this ‘authentic’ restaurant. The food was very bland. There was no lemongrass in the ‘lemongrass chicken’. The satay sauce looked like baby sick drizzled with soy sauce. Far from the rich dark colours in Indonesia. They added a 10% service charge and then had the cheek to ask for an extra tip when we paid. Server was not happy when we declined. Overall very disappointed and certainly won’t be returning.

The worst Indonesian food I have ever had. A "doubtful chicken" in a curry that doesn't taste like curry in a sauce that is hot, no, that burns, even though only one chilli appears on the menu. Lousy! And in addition to all this, which is not even worth the price it is worth, they allow themselves the luxury of almost "demanding" the tip from you. Never ever!

Do not visit this restaurant absolutely waste of time - with deco from the 70s and worn down seating paint peeling from ceiling. Plastic fruit deco absolute disappointment. Took long time to find a halal place to eat whilst visiting China town. China Town over rated only few places catering halal it was my first and last time to this restaurant and China Town. Seriously If you want good food with variety come to Ilford Esssex. The noodles were dry the salad few shreds of cucumber looked dry and without any taste of freshness or crunch. Service was shambles with the young man leaving the napkins and spoon and fork left on the corner of our table. No sauces given we had to call out loud for a someone to provide same and the young lad who served us seemed as if he wished he was somewhere eise. Honestly don’t waste your money or time at this awful restaurant!!! If I could I would not even give it one star!!!!

Visited late afternoon on the 4th of July the place was empty, and we had very attentive service from a very pleasant waitress. More customers arrived after a few minutes. The food was surprisingly competitively priced, and was on the whole quite good. My wife suspected that the chicken had been re-heated as it was was slightly tough. On the whole it was a pleasant late lunch. The sharing starter was very good and I ate too much of it to be able to finish my main course. I took most of the main course home with me. However they still provided us with a complimentary dessert (Banana fritters & ice cream Indonesian style). The only thing I would not recommend are the chairs which are in desperate need of re-upholstering; being obviously heavily worn and second hand. I would recommend a visit.

Plus I think the restaurant aren't running well and therefore rent it out to a Chinese hot pot as different people serve them. Went to Nusa Dua and ordered the nasi padang and nasi uduk and tahu telur. These dishes did not taste Indonesian whatsoever. It tasted like Chinese food made with ingredients used to make those Indonesian dishes for example an egg omelette was made with some tofu and had a peanuts dipping sauce to go ontop of it. The nasi uduk was like a stir fried sweet and sour prawns. The servers spoke Indo but that was the most Indo the restaurant was unfortunately. Service does not exist. This restaurant mainly attracts Chinese customers. They take advantage of these people and treat them like pigs. The server was also Chinese and was rude to us since the moment we walked in to the restaurant. He also emphasized that service charge is “compulsory”. Many Chinese restaurants use these excuses to fool Chinese students, just so the they can get a few extra pennies. The malay waiter was kind and took time to explain the menu to us. The downside, the portion of the chicken and beef on the set was extremely disproportionate to the amount of rice that was given. Asked for some Indonesian food to the waiter in bahasa Indonesia and he could not even understand. Had rendang, was not like Sumatran rendang. Because its slurry, used different spice, and different texture. Who eat rendang with shrimp crackers 🙄 and a soup? Whatever soup that was. Rendang is eaten with rice, stewed veggies and have specific taste and sauce. This does not look like it or taste like it at all. The only thing I enjoyed was kangkung. Overpriced as well. We had high hopes when we saw this Indonesian restaurant. But how that hope diminished within minutes upon entering. The tables and chairs were so tightly packed leaving a small space to walk. Even before we ordered our food, we already felt uncomfortable after being ushered to a table snuck in between two other tables, my chair can hardly be pushed out! The table I'm at smells of fish, stale and the whole place reeks. And the food, oh dearie me...the worst Indonesian food we ever tasted! Is it even Indonesian? I do NOT think so because I have had proper Indonesian food before in Jakarta, Bandung, Bali, Medan, Singapore and Malaysia. The tahu telur served was just an oily deep fried omelette with a few small pieces of tofu. Tahu telur should not be flat and chewy but crispy and tin high. I ordered the nasi padang and it was a joke! It is NOT nasi padang. The beef rendang was more like watered down curry than rendang and the beef? What beef? Only fats! Totally disgusting. The fish curry was covered in jelly slimy like texture and it was sweet and oily. There are no vegetables but a few slices of cucumber and tomatoes with two crackers that accompanied my so called nasi padang. I can't even eat it. The only consolation was the mie bakso, although the bakso balls are tiny the soup was alright. For the price you paid it is definitely not worth coming back again. Other diners who had ordered the hotpot seem to be enjoying their food. Perhaps Nusa dua should stick to serving hotpot & Chinese cuisine instead. And please don't bother to use the toilet...the hand dryer is disgusting! Mouldy and chalky at the same time. Yucks!

Amidst the splendor of our day in central London, ravenous hunger drove us to seek solace in Nusadua. Expecting culinary nirvana, the formidable queue outside the restaurant hinted at an extraordinary feast. Yet, as we languished in the queue, a sinister discrimination unfolded before us. Chinese patrons effortlessly bypassed us, conspiring with the manager to leapfrog the queue. Enduring this diabolical injustice, we eventually found ourselves relegated to the worst table in the establishment. Perusing the menu, we made our selections, ordering main dishes and an 3 extra portion of rice. Thirsty for a Coke, our pleas for the elusive beverage went unanswered, leaving us parched and despondent. After an agonizing 30 minutes, three mains materialized, accompanied by a single bowl of rice. Two dishes seemed palatable, but the third resembled the murky waters of a South Sudanese river, with repulsive chunks that could star in a water aid advert – a sight that would prompt UNICEF to dispatch aid with urgency. Despite the horrors on our friend's plate, we soldiered through the meal, only to discover the lone bowl of rice equated to three portions – a ludicrous revelation. Another 35 minutes elapsed before my food materialized, subjecting my three friends to the torment of watching me indulge. Confronting the staff, their feeble excuse of being "busy" crumbled in the face of our outrageous ordeal, leaving us to ponder the depths of the culinary abyss we had unwittingly entered.

They said Ayam Sambal but I didn’t find any sambal on it only oil🥹 idk why my dendeng come with beef for grill not actually beef for dendeng. Not enjoy my foods and feels like Chinese restaurant rather than Indonesian restaurants.

Best dumplings ever Had a dinner last night at Nusa Dua, just randomly popped in with a friend without any expectations, never been there before. I ordered beef dumplings and they were just perfect. Succulent and tender, they were a great choice on a rainy evening. Will be back there.

Attentive and friendly service. A friend told me about this place where they had hotpot before which was surprising considering this is an Indonesian restaurant, but I liked how they reserved a little area for this to happen. £26.80 per person for an all-you-can eat hotpot buffet was a great deal with an array of unique soup bases and refills on dishes we liked. Our coconut and chicken soup base was delicious and aromatic; the dishes we ordered were great as well, except the lotus root slices.

Don't waste your time going here...1 star feels too generous. Food was very average, and the service was terrible. Awfully rude people, who demanded we pay a service charge as we wanted to pay on card. We refused to pay it as the service was so awful, so they stated we could only pay in cash. I was shouted at across the restaurant by a rude male member of staff, with all the other members of staff all ignoring what was happening. We paid in cash in the end (after I had to run to a cash point) and left. Will never return

Wzięliśmy Lunch nr 2, część jedzenia okej, ale kurczak suchy (no i mega ostry) i jeden a la "placek ziemniaczany" bardzo twardy. Zupa ok. Dało się zjeść, ale rewelacji nie było niestety.

This was a great meal that really took from a place of feeling that I appreciate living in London, to wondering if with food like this it might just be one of the best place in the world. I had "set lunch B" ,as pictured, and when I examined the drinks as though I wasn't quite financially capable of drinking £4 extra coconut juice, the waiter kindly assumed to get tap water as standard. To this moment, I'm still unsure whether it was fact that the beef was well cooked and curried like my mum does that quashed my home sickness, or because I have admiration for it that can only be likened to a mother's love. The noodles were a little salty, which could be mediated with either of thw crackers or the vegetables from the soup. Don't quite like tomatoes, how were they to know, and when a quarter of a singular noodle fell on the table, it pained me to know I would not devour it myself. Lastly, they were very catering to both halal and vegetarian diet requirements.

Ordered Nasi Padang - beef and seafood with steamed rice. As you can see only received 2 pieces of seafood and 4-5 pieces of beef with plenty or rice. Left feeling hungry but didn’t want to pay an inordinate amount for a small portion of food. Also they insist you pay a discretionary service charge. Btw, they said it’s halal but they serve alcohol.

Food arrived quick (too quick?) but all dishes lacking flavour . Chicken and rice really dry. Gets lots of passing trade so probably don't care about quality . Not recommended.

Terrible service, greasy salty food, rendang is more gristle and fat than meat and menu items not accurate to meal served.

The food was amazingly tasty, very rich in taste and the portions were huge and full of big chunks of tasty meat (a rare thing in London). We had the Rendang Daging (beef) and the meat was very tender and juicy and the sauce was very tasty and Gulai Bebek (duck) and it was very creamy and the duck meat was just perfect. We also tried the indonesian tee and it was very refreshing and tasty. We really loved the food here and all the people at the other tables had the hot pot and they seemed to enjoy it very much, will definitely try it the next time we will be there. Disclaimer: I am not an expert at all in indonesian food so I cannot say if the taste is authentic Indonesian or not but I can highly recommend this place for the great taste of food in general :).

Service was shocking. We were about 40 mins sitting before our order was taken. Kids getting hungry and anxious. I had to chase down a staff member to get service. It wasn't his area but he was helpful when I flagged him down. I tried to order a drink and was ignored at the bar as well. The food was pretty good when we got it to be fair. We wouldn't go back.

PROS: - Location: • Awesome. Literally 100m. from Victoria Stn. • 15' walking to Big Ben/Westminster Abbey and 8' to Buckingham Palace. • 100m. from Market Halls Victoria (great to eat different dishes around the area). • From Stansted Airport you take the National Express (A7 to Victoria) and once you arrive at the Victoria Coach Station, you just need to walk 5' to the hotel. Safety area 24/7 with people always walking around. • 200m. from Wicked, the musical. - Staff: extremely nice and helpful. - Clean: no complaints about it. - Modern: not a typical old Victorian hotel. All amenities included. - Breakfast: not the best but decent. Toasts, coffee, juices, some pastries, fruits, yogurs, cereals and yummy naan breads. You can choose this option or you can have breakfast every day on a Starbucks or similar (not ideal for a 5 days trip). CONS: - Room size: comfy, modern but very small room (we got it double with window). I found it very annoying. It's ok that they are small but if you pay for a window-room, you should be able to open it. At least a bit (they are security windows prepared for hospitality). After you shower, you had to open the door for some time to at least be able to breath a bit and also to air the room. AC helps but it's not the solution at all. If I was the owner of the hotel, I would redesign it. Better to have less rooms and more expensive than the ones they have now but offering a poorer experience.
